"What do you want," Tommy asked, looking at the shadow with his eyes, watching it as it paused to a stop in front of him, its large black beak turning slightly to the side.

Its beak opened only a crack, and human screaming of men and women, children and infants, leaked out. Screaming, and sobbing, and maniacal laughing that all filled Tommy's ears with a rotten, disgusting feeling, and replacing the ticking of Toni's clock- loud enough to wake the whole neighborhood, yet only wrecking havoc upon Tommy.

Then, like a ghost, a whisper right into Tommy's ear, quiet enough to barely be heard, yet strong enough to drown out the horror that leaked out of the Raven's mouth.

"Kind James is a fake," the Raven whispered into his ear, while standing in front of him, drawing out sounds of bloody murder.

One pledge loyalty, wanted to get throw in tray, while others wanted to see those epic encounter, but by His Majesty decree, thou shalt not stand along thy. The loyal citizens obey this leaving his majesty alone on his battlefield.

The city will become the war casualties, though the man, the single brave king, will not allow those enemy to destroy the people home and shelter. He has promised to his beloved person; that he will protected everyone and everything that she loved. But who will protected him?

Two months dateline finally ended up today. The fight will decided today, though it actually not confirmed yet that the enemy will arrived today. He never doubted that the enemy won't take his time, and going straight to gain his desired.

He already been here for hours while doing his meditation, patiently waiting for the encounter with his enemy. The enemy wanted his only legacy that left by his lover, the Goddess core. The core actually been integrated into his spiritual soul, along with his lover soul. He didn't save his lover completely, but only her soul.

"He's coming! Be prepared for the battle!" The voice of his lover, Jarnis, coming out from his core that reside on his right hand, warning him about the appearance of the enemy.

"Thanks Jarnis...." After he saying those words, Tommy body shines and suddenly his body been covered by his upgraded spiritual armor. He looked at the sky, that become cloudy and unstable, as the coming danger almost there, reaching out to his place.

"Let's go Jarnis..."

"Yes, my dear...." Those couple, that been so close yet far, going to enter the fight with full emotions. One losing her touch, and other bearing the feeling of regret. To live is to fight, and without love there no will of living...

"Boom....." A loud sounds of the thunder heard from far, attacking his location out from nowhere. Those attack faced by Tommy, who already prepared the shield to protect his city from been affected by the thunder. 

"Here we go!" He won't fight near the city, thus begin to fly and stopped his enemy movement from getting near to his city location.

"Oh... An ant wanted to fight me huh?" A high individual, a mighty immortal with level 255, a Supreme Divine ranked, voice his annoyed feeling after facing Tommy, the weakling of middle dimension.

"Supreme divine, huh...." Tommy remember his lover warning when he prepared to face this guy. Now, he completely understand those words.

"Oh.... She already gone from this world, huh? Leave her core and scram from here, you lower form!" With arrogance tone, the mighty being told him. He recognized the core that welded by Tommy on his right hand. He try to reply the word of the so called higher being but been distracted by the arrival of few people.

"""Master!""" The disciples of the supreme divine realms person arrived, seven people of them, greeted their master. It's seems that the master hastened his pace to Tommy place for the Goddess core. Tommy become more alert, make the master smile with that reaction.

"Hahahaha.... Not a single chances that you can win against me, you low life... Now, leave the core!" The master ignoring his disciples greet, ordering Tommy to offer his lover only memory, to him.

"You can try, old man..." Tommy already in his stance to attack those invader.

"No need for master to take action. Let me kill him! Take this, Red Moon Slasher!" Without summoning his spiritual armor, one of the disciples rushing to Tommy and used the same attack as the person that he killed in one move. 

"You are already been killed!"

"What?!" He thought that Tommy just provoking him, but realized that his head already separated with his body, thus lost his life without knowing nothing.

"Fifth brother!" One of the disciples scream, shocked by his fellow death. He and another one begin to attack Tommy, because of their angry feeling and burn with revenge spirit.

"Let us kill him sixth brother!"

"Yes, seventh brother!"

""Dual Slash, the moon divider!"" Both of them use their combination attack to kill Tommy. Tommy just smile and make his counterattack.

"Supernova!" The technique use by Tommy were so cruel and make his opponents died in explosion. His attack base on the phenomenal of  death star, so the explosion quite massive, too powerful than the magic that used by lost screw headed arc wizard.

"Huh, what a dirty fireworks..." Said Tommy. The landscape of the place that should be lots of mountain, become plain place, destroyed by the might of his attack. Those fierce strike is very dreadful, shocked the master. He only smile evilly, with the wicked thought, planning something while playing with his beard.

"Oh... How powerful. Hey boy, I give one lifetime chance, be my disciple and I forgive you for your sin, killing those thrash. Oh, I still want the core by the way...." Said the master. The remaining disciples face turned ugly after their master didn't care about the death of their brother.

"No way old man. I don't know you but I fight you and I will kill you!"

"Master, please allow us to kill him!" The senior look like one disciple asking the permission to kill Tommy after couldn't stand the rude attitude that showed by him.

"Hmmm... Kill him, or all of you will disowned by me." The master with bored face, give his blessings, but for those disciples now, failure is not allowed.

"We won't let you down, my master! Let's go, my brothers!" The loyal disciple make his move and asked his fellow brother to attack together.


"""Yes, first brother!""" Like Tommy guess, the brave disciple is the first ranked disciple, leading the group and attack him.

"Black holes!" The worst phenomenal in the universe has been invoked by Tommy, sucked all the attack of disciple without any exception.

"Careful, my brothers! Art of destroying moon, final strike...." The first disciple avoiding the mysterious attack used by Tommy, and try to counter it.

"Useless... You only destroying moon but I will eliminate the world! Gravity crush!" Tommy move it's hand and control the black hole. The disciples fall from their flight and crash into the land. Except the first disciple, others been injured gravely, and almost died because of the crash. 

"Die..." Tommy ended their life with the force of the gravity. Their hearts been blown up and they died on the spot. The only disciple that still living avoiding the attack, but still injured by the attack. The master face doesn't change much while looking at his disciples died that easily. For him, those rubbish only his chess pieces, and can be replaced anytime.

"Brother...." The first disciple couldn't accept his brothers losses, but can't do anything about it. His master move near him, and put his hand on his shoulder.

"Master...."

"You have been dismissed. Die!" The master activate his skill and killed his first disciple without any emotions change.

"Mas...ter....." The first disciple finally fall and lying down on the land. His face full of regret, but his time to redeem that have been terminated.

"Don't you feel sorry about them?!" Tommy feel angry with the master behavior, but the old person only laughing at him.

"Hahahaha, I, Evil Tyrant King, even dare to kill a Goddess, so what difference with those rubbish? I will kill you too, so don't you think it meaningless to get emotional about that?" The Evil Tyrant King, the grand patriarchal of the Red Moon Destroyer clan, were known as the cruelest person in the upper dimension world. He has killed thousand of his opponents without hesitation. Tommy keep on challenging his opponent without fear even though his enemy showing more and more of his ability. The enemy become much focus and serious, so Tommy can't easily found the Tyrant King weakness.

The fight continue with Tommy struggling to keep up with the Tyrant King. Day after day, the fight so intense and make them lost their awareness about the time that they going through. Every part of the landscape that they been on the fight destroyed mercilessly, but not the city location where Tommy work hard to avoid it. Then, a week passed.

"Kid, I surprised that you can keep it up with my prowess while being a lower creature. I need thought our fight become this long.

"You old man should quietly follow the rules of nature and die normally like the old hag..." Tommy mouth never out of sarcasm. The Tyrant King never let his anger control him, as expected from the experience cultivator.

"I will ended this fight before one of us emptying our Chi. The cultivators without Chi are only the stronger normal man but without his ability. Final Art of Destroying Red Moon, The Fang of Moon Dragon!" 

"I agree with you there.... Well, let's end this. Ultimate Force of Divine Earth; The Big Bang Theories!" The most powerful attack of both the mighty cultivators clashes as that moment is the decisiveness of the fight. The attack too powerful, if normal cultivators there, they will ended died with the force of the clashes. The Tyrant King know that the more the fight dragged, the harder he could win the battle. But, actually, he did right taking the risk using his final attack, but too late as he weakened in these one week duration of the battle.

His consciousness become fade little by little. He knows that this is his final moment. He doesn't have the hero fate, thus his couldn't win dramatically like those protagonist. But he never regret his decision on fighting his much stronger enemy even though resulting his death.

3 wolves were running through the woods as if they were trying to escapee from something. Behind them, a howl was let out before the sound of a pursuer was heard.

As the 3 wolves bobbed and weaved through the trees, they were getting further and further away from their homes. A look of panic could be seen in the eyes of the brown and tan wolves while the black wolf had a look a determination as if she would not accept being caught by their pursuer.

The three wolves exited the woods and appeared in front of a lake. With the clear skies and full moon above, their position was obvious for any to see.

Black Wolf: (Shit! He has almost caught up to us. Either of you idiots have a plan?)

Brown Wolf: (We surrender and beg for mercy?)

Black and Tan Wolf: (No!)

Black Wolf had a fierce look in her eyes: (I will not let him beat me so easily! Over my dead...)

Before the wolf could finish her thought, a large grey shadow leapt out from their sides and pounced the black wolf.

What came out was a large grey dire wolf. The wolf immediately grabbed the tan wolf's neck to keep him from moving while giving the brown wolf a death glare.

The brown wolf decided not to move seeing both of her companions caught and hoped that mercy would be given to them.

Grey Dire Wolf: (So... You thought you could push all the blame on me and I would not get revenge?)

There was a small amount of killing intent being released from the grey wolf. All 3 shivered before giving each other a look. 

Tan and Black Wolf: (It was Suzy's idea!)

Tan Wolf: (We said she shouldn't do it but she didn't listen! )

Black Wolf: (And when we suggested surrendering and asking for mercy, she said "over her dead body")

Suzy, the brown wolf, gave the most shocked face a wolf could give. She could not believe two of her best friends could betray her so easily.

She did not even think to deny it because she knew the grey wolf would know they were lying.

Suzy: 'I do not forget and shall not forgive until I get my revenge.'

As she expected, the grey wolf gave them both a look that asked 'do you think I'm and idiot?'. 

Grey wolf: (So it was both of you who told my uncle about the trip last week. I shall punish you both later but I suggest we leave now. Too late. Hide your presences.)

The three immediately complied without a question. David had the best nose of the three. They hid themselves in a couple of large pushes while David shifted into his normal, smaller wolf form.

What soon showed up was a blue pick up truck. A young man and a woman came out of the truck. The young man appeared to be in his late teens while the woman was at least 40.

Black Wolf: "Isn't that Mrs Smith and Tommy Wright? I thought he left for college 2 days ago. What are they doing out here so late?)

Due to all four being in their wolf forms, they could hear the following conversation.

Kanae stood in front of the school with complicated feelings. This was not the first time she came here, but the atmosphere today was very different from the one in the past. In addition, from her position, she couldn't see any damage to the building. Everything seemed normal.
"It's amazing, isn't it?" Jason tapped her shoulder from behind. "For ordinary people, this place is no different from usual, but for those who know, this is nothing but a mirage."
"Their technology is that advanced?"
"Not really advanced, but they have people that specialize in creating a defensive barrier using their talent," Jason shook his head. "With one person alone, it's extremely easy to cover up things that they do behind this barrier."

Jason looked towards the young girl in front of him. "If you want to fight against them in the future to stop all of this nonsense, you need to be more patient to learn more about them."
"I'll keep that in mind, Oro."
"Now, let's line up."
There were already numerous people around. They were all people who came because they were attracted to the mission posted on the Black Market. However, those who came here were all groups.
"I can't believe that I don't see anyone from a clan or a gang," Tommy remarked.
"Tom, you really should follow the news occasionally. The biggest clan is in turmoil because of instability caused by their young clan head. Souhon Clan Head is sick. Tamari Clan Head is too old to participate. The Merion Clan is a bit too far from here. Lastly, the Zone Clan is relatively new compared to the other clans. They're not too powerful right now.
As for gangs, they won't leave their territory in Black Street because many of them are convicts. If they come out here, they won't be able to protect themselves because this is the middle of a city. The only ones who will come here are only groups."
Hearing Jason's explanation, Kanae realized one point that she missed before. It seemed this incident was totally targeted towards those who were only part of Black Street at night. If not for that the other organizations would also be here too.
Finally, they reached the front of the line. A woman stood there, giving instructions here and there. Upon seeing them, she gave a businesslike smile.
"Welcome to the post for the Lima School Mission. Let me explain some things before you proceed further. Once you enter, you won't be able to leave unless the 'monsters' are all dead. In addition, you have to retrieve a special vial from the main building.
Only when these two requirements are fulfilled will you be able to leave. Please sign here to show that we won't be responsible for nor guarantee your life, but as long as you agree, we'll give you the money and supplies you need before you enter."
The woman was smiling as she put a contract in front of them, but Kanae could sense the situation around her growing tense.
'They're ready to fight.'
Seeing how the explanation clearly did not give them a way out, Kanae stepped forward. She could guess that once someone disagreed and tried to run away, there will be a lot of people to stop the escape. Just by standing at the forefront, she already sensed several people observing them vigilantly.
"Where should I sign?" Kanae asked in a muffled voice because of the strip of cloth she wore to cover her face.
The woman smiled. She pointed towards the line on the paper. Kanae looked at it for a moment before signing it using their group name.
'Fiore Group'
"So it's Fiore Group, isn't it?" The woman smiled as she read it. She was secretly scorning these small groups because less than 1% of them would survive. Little did she know that in a few days, she would never be able to forget this one name.
Kanae nodded. "Can we get our supplies?"
"Sure, just wait a moment," the woman turned around to instruct her men to retrieve the necessary supplies for them. She sighed to herself, thinking that it would be a waste of money to give this all to ordinary groups. However, her superior was the one who instructed her, so she didn't say anything inappropriate.
While they were waiting, they heard a ruckus from behind them.
"Look, it's the Oval Group!"
"They came here too!"
"Wow, even those from the three strongest groups have come here!"
Turning her body, Kanae saw a group of people coming in. The names of the three strongest groups were not a secret. In Black Street, these three groups dominated in the missions with the highest difficulties, to the point that barely anyone could contend against them.
Some other groups did appear in those missions occasionally, which ranked them as the fourth through tenth strongest groups. However, their names were not as famous because compared to the top three, their prowess was vastly inferior.
Even without them asking, the crowd had already opened up a path for them to reach the front. The woman on the lookout immediately put on a sweet smile and greeted them enthusiastically.
"What a vast difference in treatment!" Tommy's jaw dropped. He wanted to cry.
Jason patted Tommy's shoulder. "If you want respect, you should earn it with your prowess."
"I know," Tommy answered in a slightly higher tone. "The problem is, how can I reach their level?"
Jason didn't know the answer either. From what he observed from Tommy's progress so far, he guessed that Tommy was not very suited for fighting. It was only because he had lived on the street for a long time and engaged in numerous battles that his senses were honed to a high level. Otherwise, there would have been little chance for this boy to reach such a high level.
"Here are your supplies," a man delivered three bags to them. There were sturdy yet kind of worn out, clearly not of the best quality.
"Let's go," Kanae nodded to the man as she took the bag. As she led her friends out, they passed by the Oval Group, the current third strongest group in this city. They were haggling over the price with the woman, with which she agreed to immediately.
Tommy felt that his heart was crushed once again. "Captain, we should reach the top three."
Thwack!
Jason flicked the boy's forehead. "Stop daydreaming. You should just focus on strengthening your body. It's not going to be easy."
"I know," Tommy pouted as he caressed his forehead, trying to ease the pain.
Next to them, Kanae was observing the barrier closely. Because they already accepted the mission, they could stand near the barrier. From her keen senses, she could see that it was truly a sturdy and powerful barrier.
One could get in but not get out.
'What have I gotten myself into?' Kanae thought to herself as she stared at the barrier. She could only hope that she could survive this battle and grow stronger in the process.
At this time, she didn't know that the decision she made by following Master Rudy's advice would change her life forever.

A year has passed Tommy, has trained and became stronger for a 10 year old he became the king of crescent school  everyone respected him and his second in command Cameron there would be accessional competitors for the throne but Tommy, took them out almost instantly. Cameron followed Tommy looking at his facial features smiling and blushing he looked around both him and Tommy liked the school in the winter because of the shear coldness that draped through the doors they hated it during spring, fall, and summer because heat would scrap through the windows and doors not caring who it had touched cam, realized he was at the classrooms doors both Cameron and Tommy stopped "are you ready cam it's our second day as second grader and I only just announced being king yesterday now where is she," Tommy said cam, then came back to the harsh and cruel fact Tommy was dating a girl their age cute of course he frowned wh-why does he have to be with her I love him I guess he never knew' cam thought crying inside then a girl a bit short then them came walking in wearing a yellow and blue shirt that had words saying 'I like someone already sorry' the girl had hugged Tommy smiling "Karie! Your finally here me and Cam been waiting a while," Tommy said cam, remember every sleep over although it hasn't changed they still take baths together and other things they do together Tommy, always talks about Karie that and karie this feeling cam doesn't understand but he hates being left out of talking and stuff cam and Tommy used to be close now they are still close but each time he talks to Tommy he feels like he's on another planet cam, noticed a paper on the floor and picked it up tapping Tommy's shoulder he looked at cam confused "I think for a boys only hang out thing we should do the school talent show together," cam said giving Tommy, the paper Tommy then nodded "we'll sing and stuff like that," Tommy said karie, was a bit agitated and ran off a few hours later Tommy, cam, and karie are at lunch Tommy sits up with a sorrowful look and looks at cam, cam was confused "cam I'm sorry to say this but it looks like I'm going to team up with Karie in the talent show," Tommy said frowning cam, lost it and stood immediately up and ran off crying Tommy tried to run after him but karie stopped him shaking her head no Tommy shook her hand off running after him. Tommy, was a bit worried he's never seen Cameron like this he ran going where cam went he found Cameron crying he tried to enter the room but Karie stopped him "if you do this we'll no longer be together," karie said Tommy then stepped away from the door Tommy felt something he hasn't felt ever even with karie he felt like he was cheating on cam even though they liked each other as friends he didn't quite understand the way he felt.

Tommy knew he always had a thing for Kimi.
Everything she did just seemed to lighten his day.
Even though he was 11 he knew he wanted Kimi for his own.
He stared across the room at Kimi sitting at her desk doing her schoolwork. Work!
"Oh crud!" he thought, "I forgot I was in school." He quickly started back down at his math work.
Only one more problem and the school day would be over. He bit at the end of his pencil.
"Hmmmm", he said with a perplexed look on his face. "Aha", he said quite loudly as he wrote the answer down on the paper.
He then got up and handed the paper to his math teacher, Mr Jenkins. Just then the bell rang.
Phil who had done before him followed him out the classroom door.
"So are you going to ask Kimi out today?" he asked Tommy.
"Yep" he replied.
"Ohhhh I can't wait to see this" Phil said with a devilish grin on his face.

Tommy walked toward Kimi worrying about what her response would be.
"Oh please say yes", he said over and over in his head."Alright this is it"
He then walked up to Kimi who greeted him with a smile.
"Ummmm, Kimi", He said in a weak voice.
"Yes", she replied.
"Will you go out with me", he muttered.
Kimi's face turned scarlet.
"Yes. When." she finally said.
"Saturday at 7:00" he replied as if he had rehearsed this whole thing before. "I'll pick you up"
He then walked away. As he turned the corner Phil rejoined him.
"You did it, man!" Phil said to Tommy.
"And I'm the happiest man alive" he replied with a huge smile on his face
