Dimulai lah, petualangan Xelia Nerva di dalam dunia tersebut, awalnya Nerva benar benar tidak bisa menggunakan senjata atau pun sihir di dalam dunia fantasi bernama Elphida tersebut, tetapi sedikit demi sedikit Xelia Nerva mulai mahir dalam menggunakan senjata nya, dan mulai nyaman bersama teman temannya di Elphida.

Tetapi setelah enam tahun berada di Elphida, Xelia Nerva tiba tiba kembali ke dunia asalnya untuk menyelesaikan semua masalahnya sendiri dan mencari keluarga serta kawan yang dia tinggalkan.

The MC gets transported to a new world, and their whole life changes! hopefully for the better. This takes place in a fantasy world, and MC gets a System. To be specific the Trap System.

A girl named Audrey who is forced to marry her best friends boyfriend.

Her secret hobby is that she....is...writing....her own book. 
As we all know Nephi is a Fantasy dreamer, she has various ideas about fantasy stuff. So one day she decided that she will put all her fantasy thoughts together in the form of a book. She had been doing this all the time but, she did not share this hobby with anyone because she was afraid that if she shares this with anyone then they will all tease her and bully her. Even her parents were unaware of this hobby of hers because they also dicouraged Nephi from thinking and doing some fantasy stuff which was of no use. Nephi started her fantasy book journey since a year by now it has not yet got completed because she had no time in completing it, but she has done a few pages though. 
Now Nephi is very worried because all the pages of her book has been scattered and mixed up all the other pages. She is trying to put all her book's pages together because when she was scrolling through in the internet she found out that there is gonna be a book review compitation in their city Alistor. A famous aouther will be visiting the city on the coming Sunday and he is going to be reviewing the books written by the people of Alistor, and the best book will be featured in the famous magazine called the FANTASTIC STORIES. The winner also will be awarded with best book trophy. So if Nephi turns out to be the winner her story is going to get fame and name. By this she can proove herself to her parents and friends, who used to discourage her. 
Its already late night, Nephi is still putting her papers and story together then suddenly she realises that tommorow is Monday and she has school. Her parents will be visiting to the school along with her. She is completely Freaked out. She decides not to think too much about anything and goes to bed because tomorrow is creepy day for her. She's hoping for the best.

Its the story of a girl, through her fantasy drems. It depicts the power of a girl, who can fight through anything to achive her dreams. Its going to be a fantasy story with the connection of real life.

I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of this earlier as most my stories are basically Fantasy with a capital F so let me get right into it. What separates 'Fantasy' from 'Contemporary' works isn't just where it's set but also the level of contrivances that are allowed.

As I've said before, every story allows a certain level of contrived scenarios where Destiny and Fate are actually a thing. Fantasy stories in particular work best when you go all in on your imagination.

I know you all have had it drilled into your brains that a certain level of 'realism' is needed even in a fantasy story. However, what most mean by that isn't adding the laws of physics to your story but keeping it internally consistent with clear laws and limits.

I'm pretty sure you guys don't need a rundown in how society works because fantasy societies work the same way expect they have the word 'Magic' added to them. Do NOT rip off Elves and Dwarves from the Lord of the Rings and flex the creative muscles in your brain a little. There's no limit to the kind of magical races you can make in a Fantasy!

This also applies to magic. However, people only remember limitations more than what a persons using Magic System can generally do since 'magic is omnipotent unless proven otherwise'. There will be no narrative stakes or tension if you can't even make sure random nobodies aren't shooting off nukes and your main character isn't invincible beyond measure.

There are people who tend to overthink about how to write Fantasy since it's such a popular genre everyone and their dog is writing. You don't need someone else's guideline to write a Fantasy since most good Author's base them out of existing literature of the past or modern ones they are retelling using their own tropes and characters.

You'll never get anywhere if you need someone else to flex your creativity when looking into the past brings forth many mystical stories and myths that all wouldn't be possible without a little bit of magic sprinkled onto them. The classic LitRPG genre with stuff like Guilds and Adventures is popular to use nowadays but only because you don't have to explain much in a story that's so easy to figure out.

If you're going to use the LitRPG setting with dungeons and dragons, make sure you make it character driven and focus on people rather than explaining how fireballs work. The only reason Slime Reincarnation (That Time I Reincarnating As A Slime) or Sword Dad (I Was A Sword When I Reincarnated) are so popular is because behind the Power Fantasy are well-written and diverse characters.

If you want to write your own Fantasy World unique to only you, then it's best to start researching ways to ground it with your audience. These days people want to read about 'people' more than someone dumping lore about a fictional world they don't care about. Even pure Fantasy stories needs a protagonist that can be the reader's eyes and ears.

Now, thanks to the Isekai Boom, you may think that a main character HAS to be reincarnated for basically no reason whatsoever. However, that is ill-advised as people reincarnated for trivial reasons bore the audience to death. There's this Fantasy story about this non-reincarnated girl who was raised by Death himself in a regular medieval magic world, causing her to be a mix of creepy and cute all at the same time. This is an example of the kind of plots which are interesting BECAUSE their MC is a member of this world but special rather than some random guy from Earth who just so happens to be Isekai'd.

Isekai can be done right when the main character's rebirth or transportation into this world holds some sort of meaning. However, it can turn into a very boring story with maybe one or two gimmicks if you aren't even thinking of an ending for it.

Getting back to the main point: You seriously won't be able to write a Fantasy properly unless you at least know something about characters (If you haven't already figured that out already).

How the life of this character, under the special upbringing that only those of your Fantasy World go through, is interesting to the reader depends of where you take the tropes of your regular Fantasy.

You can go the 'Epic Fantasy' route, then copying the Hero's Journey is fine as long as you switch it up a bit. As long as you understand the fundamentals of a Hero's Journey and not look at it as the ONLY WAY TO TELL A STORY then you're on the right track.

Those who are wondering what a Hero's Journey is can find the link at the bottom. Also try searching for Dan Harmon's Story Circle for a more character driven version of it on YouTube. Anyway, this trope is basically the origin of the whole 'Chosen One' trope.

As for what I meant by Epic Fantasy, it is actually quite beloved type of story for many who love the Fantasy genre. It could be about the journey about a chosen one destined to defeat a Big Baddy like Eragon, Lord of the Rings, etc. There are even shorter and more simplified versions of this which is basically where the 'Hero Vs Demon King' trope came from. As long as there's a quest fraught with danger then people would love to read about a chosen one being able to win against their foes.

Another route you can take is Dark Fantasy, where all the lovely tales of HP Lovecraft comes from. His stories may lean more on the spectrum of supernatural tales about Dark Gods and Cults but the way everything seems to be ripped out of a nightmare is what I'm trying to focus on. If a regular Fantasy is like a dream then a Dark Fantasy is one you'd rather avoid since the world is screwed up.

And I don't mean the characters are screwed up or insane by any means, I literally mean either the Magic System or how society works is genuinely screwed up. Read 'Dungeon Seeker' as an example of this (Warning: Don't read it if you don't want to pollute your innocent mind with all the corruption in this story). Either way, it could be the Magic System relies on the blood of orphans, or it could be you have to kill a loved every time you cast a spell. The main point is that this Fantasy World is just hell.

Now, I could move on to Urban Fantasy and other sub-genres, but that would be wasting my time and yours since TV Tropes exists for a reason. Just remember what I've said and have a clear goal in beginning and end planned for your character's development and you'll be fine. There's nothing better than a story that's focused after all.

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

For the preparation of Book, Mu Fan didn't worry. He searched the internet to look for what type of books are popular nowadays.
In the Fantasy store, there are many books from his last live. If he spent some Fantasy points, he would be able to get any book he wants and draw as his own
After all, this was a world with many anime characters. They wouldn't know the novels from his world.
However, Why… Why is the ACG culture here so crappy? All the novels are about the same. Some overpowered Character will transmigrate to another word with cheats. This kind of novel where ever it is published it would get hundreds of fans all over the world.
Well, that's fine too, after all this is the era of ACG.
So now he was searching for novels, he didn't want to make a book and it turns out that it was already published. That would be a crime so he couldn't afford to do something like that without searching.
Copying someone else's work isn't a simple crime.
Next, Mu Fan started searching for novels. But he didn't find anything he knew, he found the best seller ones, one called "Love Affair" and "Fantasy System" and "Dark flames goblin"… He didn't hear anything about those works before.
Sure enough, there were no books from his former world.

The rest will be decided later and the king would get millions of yen directly.

"Alright."
Luo feng nodded and immediately, the three of them followed the man and swiftly left 9 star bay, reaching a teleportation region not far from there and transferred.

Luo Feng, Hong and the black feathered man Bushla appeared within a vast palace plaza.
"Rumble…" The waves crashed against the shore.
The entire palace was 100,000 km tall, and was split into 9 levels. The lowest level was closest to the ocean, and the plaza Luo Feng the others appeared in was the 5th level’s plaza.
"Follow me." The black feathered man led the way.
Entering deep within the palace, they proceeded.
Even Hong was a universe level. Hence, the speed at which they moved at was extremely fast. In just a few moments, they reached the 7th level.
This was a quiet hall.
At the entrance stood many ladies dressed in mist like white robes, with furry tails waving from behind them. These ladies all had purple eyes that were extremely enticing, and when they looked over…it made others feel their desires within.
With the black feathered man leading, Luo Feng and Hong entered the hall.
They continued forward.
The women that stood on the sides, from the initial white robed ladies all changed to black robed ones. However, it was obvious they were all from the same race with purple eyes and furry tails.
After another 1,000km, they became purple robed women.
"What mysterious illusions." Luo Feng walked within the huge hall and looked at the women standing at the sides. He unconsciously fell into the illusion, feeling as though the ladies all became naked as they exuded their mysterious seduction and drew closer to him.
To no avail
…
Luo Feng and Hong were both people who had reached high levels in mental state training. Hence,  illusions that weren’t deliberately targeted at them completely had no effect whatsoever.
"Teacher!" The black feathered man bowed respectfully, his voice resounding throughout the large hall, echoing continuously.
Luo Feng and Hong stopped simultaneously.
They looked up and saw in the distance a huge throne with incredibly complex engravings all over. In it lay a curled up woman with purple long hair, purple eyes and long bushy tail. When the pair of eyes looked down…the surrounding sky and land almost felt like it was engulfed in a powerful energy.
"Fantasy spirit emperor." Luo Feng held his breath.
Having heard of her power before, Luo Feng didn’t dare hesitate.
"Luo Feng?" A gentle voice resounded from the distant throne high above. "Indeed a genius that actually passed the Fantasy ocean’s 10th island during universe level. Such solid mental state, I like you punks with such solid mental states. Your teacher True Yan has such good foresight too, he nurtured Bloodthirst emperor before, and from your information, you kill very madly too. The True Yan lineage are all like that, the teacher kills madly, even the disciples are as such…"
"Thank you for the compliment." Luo Feng bowed.
His teacher True Yan did indeed have time where he madly killed others.
Only now was he much more low profile compared to the past, staying and studying within Primal chaos city. Otherwise, with just the level of explosiveness alone, his teacher wasn’t below his 3rd senior Bloodthirst emperor.
"Hm." The great being from the spirit devil clan lay lazily in the huge throne. Her purple eyes gazed at Hong, "You are the Hong that Qing Qing had mentioned?"
"Yes." Hong bowed and replied.


Year 2056, in a city in the Yuan Jiang Su Jin area. On top of a ruined, shattered six story residential apartment sits a teenager wearing a combat vest, militaristic trousers, and alloyed battle boots. On his back is a hexagonal shield and equipped is a blood-shadow battle knife. He sits there silently on the edge of the roof. At this time, the sparkling sky was shining and there was a refreshing breath within the air that blew towards him. However, there was only silence within the ruined, deserted city, with an occasional howl that makes your heart skip a beat.     

In a world where half of time we live in fantasy, what if we get stuck there?

In a world where our future is todays fantasy, what if it stops?

What if our fantasy is our parallel reality, wanna switch worlds?

What if one day you wake up and find out that what you thought is  life was just a fantasy, will you sleep again?

What if one day you will find out the people you love never really exist will you remember them? Like me?

I never shared this story but here today with courage I'll speak up. This incident happened when I was 16. I used to live my life peacefully with some friends and family until that one day when I met him. Recently many people are shifting in my society and he was one of them I never thought we will become best friends within just 2 weeks, meeting him was like meeting a long lost friend. He understands me I don't have to say and he knows it. You must be thinking "is he even real Ishita"? Yes he was we even started dating because of my April's fool prank that 1 year dating was best date in my whole life but one day he made me question myself "was I even dating a real man?"

This year I turned 18 and not long ago I met him in park our regular meeting spot, he said "I want to give you a surprise" I said "alright" he closed my eyes and asked me to chant something three times and after that I will have to find him, he even told me where he will hide, that time I was laughing out so bad. What is wrong with this guy? Why is he acting so dumb? But he started throwing tantrums so I agreed and did what he asked after opening my eyes I went that place where he asked me to find him but I could not I waited there for 15 mins then I started searching him in whole society but won't able to find him I called him but that number doesn't exist so I took a bold step and went his home his father opened the door with a cold face I greeted him and asked "is your younger son at home?" He looked surprise and asked "can you repeat" I repeated and he said sorry daughter I only have one son. My heart came to my stomach it was like my whole world shattered. 

I went home and told my sisters everything and they asked me same question "who is he?" Since that day I don't know where he is or if even he was real because no one remember him not even a single human it was like I had my fantasy boyfriend for a year and now he's back in my fantasy.

MOST OF THE STORIES HERE ARE BASED ON TRUE INCIDENTS SO I WANT YOU GUYS TO EITHER READ BEFORE MIDNIGHT OR AFTER 4AM BECAUSE I DON'T WANT ANY HARM TO MY READERS.

The thought of making such a high-level card just for an exercise routine was so absurd that Chen Mu wanted to slap his own mouth.
Chen Mu again remembered his own speculation when he had completed those actions himself and the figures darkened. Could that be the first step? 
Right! The first step! That's what the old voice said at the time, "The first step is to please complete the eighteen actions!" It looked as though there might be some other new mystery behind it.
He had been scared by the card himself. He had to travel around such a huge bend to become clear about such a simple problem. Chen Mu mocked himself for having only just then cleared up the logic of its thinking.
Chen Mu had just found another life goal which was to break through to understanding that card's mystery. The other was to improve his skill with fantasy cards. The fantasy realm in the mysterious card had excited Chen Mu enormously, though it far exceeded his comprehension. To attempt to make a three-star fantasy card wouldn't be practical in the short term, but he could still make his own fantasy cards more realistic, like the fantasy realm constructed by that mysterious card. 
He would still have to go on making the one-star power-cards every day, which would put him far into the red with his time. 
While munching his hard bread he was arranging his life from then forward. 
Bam! Chen Mu nodded with satisfaction, as he pasted his fresh new plan on the wall, right out of the oven.
As far as Chen Mu was concerned, his life wouldn't change a bit. The one thing that pleasantly surprised him was that he had improved his efficiency by half in making the one-star power-cards. He wasn't sure if that was because of his training to improve his perception, but now when he made one-star power-cards, they came out extraordinarily smoothly, with the hand fulfilling the heart. This then gave him more time to put into the other two items in his plan.
However, those other two matters would make slow headway. Chen Mu could accomplish only half of those eighteen movements. The demands of these eighteen actions on his inner body – strength, release – all required their own appropriately calibrated responses. However, those few days of exercise also greatly improved his body's fitness, which could be considered an unintended side-benefit.
On the matter of the fantasy card, his advances were minimal. Wanting to make fantasy seem real is no trivial matter. All he could do was to relentlessly examine everything around him, over and over again. Chen Mu wasn't anxious in that regard. He knew that it would be a slow-moving cumulative process where being anxious wouldn't do him any good. 
Pocketing the one-star power-cards he had made; Chen Mu went over to Uncle Hua's general store. 
Uncle Hua didn't look very well, but he was very happy to see Chen Mu, "Old Mu, it's been a long time since I've seen you, what have you been up to lately?" which was immediately followed by a nasty fit of coughing.
"Is anything the matter?" Chen Mu had a somewhat concerned look, since Uncle Hua was one of the few sincere people in that world. And he cared about Chen Mu.
Uncle Hua forced a smile and said through his wheezing, "Don't worry, I may have just caught a cold. Your Uncle Hua is old, but he's strong. What about you recently? I haven't seen you sending along your power-cards. I've been afraid that something had happened to you."
Seeing Uncle Hua's wan look and noting a sour smell which wasn't coming from him, Chen Mu smiled broadly to say, "I was able to get something done. I stopped for a bit recently while I was learning how to make a fantasy card."
"Eh? Did you learn to do it?" Uncle Hua became interested.
Chen Mu nodded his head, "Uh huh, but I only learned how to make one-star and two-star cards."
"Ha! I'd guessed that Old Mu could surely learn to do it, being so smart and so hard working. You certainly do have a bright future." Uncle Hua was as pleased as though he had heard about his own nephew's prospects, though the rise in his spirits brought on another bout of coughing. 
Chen Mu didn't know what to say, as he looked worriedly at Uncle Hua.
Uncle Hua's wan face turned ruddy again after he finally stopped coughing, and he smiled, "You have to be very diligent, Old Mu. I've always wanted to have a fantasy-card advertising sign. Ah, the best would be to show the remote purple orchid, which was something special from our home town." Uncle Hua's eyes took on a heavy look of homesickness. 
"Ahh!" Chen Mu nodded vigorously.
Chen Mu's heart felt a little heavy after coming out of Uncle Hua's general store. 
"Blockhead!" Chen Mu heard someone calling him and turned his head around to see an overdressed man running toward him. 
It was Copper, who used to go around with Chen Mu on the street. But then he had been taken in by someone. His relationship with Chen Mu wasn't bad, and you could say that he was one of Chen Mu's few friends. The family circumstances of his adoptive father and mother were quite good at that time, and he would look after Chen Mu from time to time. But not long before, his adoptive father and mother had passed away, and he had no choice but to break off his studies and go back to a half-vagrant situation. Chen Mu was naturally dispassionate and taciturn, so substituting a different character "mu" (for wood), Copper called him 'Blockhead.'
Copper was looking slovenly wearing a gaudy shirt that was too big for him. His hair was a mess, and he wore two giant hoops in his ears. On his feet he was scuffing along in a pair of obviously filthy sandals. His manner of dressing startled Chen Mu.
He stopped and waited for Copper to come over. 
"Hey, I finally run into you on the street! Have my eyes blurred, or has the world changed?" Copper said with an exaggerated look. 
"I came to sell power-cards." The two of them were quite familiar with one another, and Chen Mu had no intention of indulging in happy talk. 
Copper nodded his head knowingly, since he understood Chen Mu very well, "You coming out for a stroll is like the sun rising in the West."
"Oh, right, I've recently found some work," Copper indicated with a mysterious look. 
"What work?" Chen Mu asked rather interestedly. Copper's adoptive parents wanted the very best for him, always encouraging him to go to school, which was something Chen Mu yearned for in his dreams. But they hadn't considered a calamity falling from the sky. Copper's adoptive parents were killed in a car accident, cutting off all sources of income, so that he had no choice but to cut off his studies. This knucklehead was quite firm about it. Chen Mu knew that a person like Copper had a much fiercer kind of pride than ordinary people did. If it were him, Chen Mu figured that he would do the same as Copper.
Copper had always diligently looked for work. During those few days, Chen Mu had been immersed in making a fantasy card, and breaking the code of that mysterious card's world. He didn't have the leisure to be concerned with anything else. 
"I found some work in a little card-show studio, mainly doing odd jobs for the screenwriters."
"Card show?" Chen Mu knew what card shows were. A so-called card show would use the moving images that were conjured from the fantasy card to perform a story. How many fantasy cards got used would be determined by the length of the fantasy card story. In general, each card show would need about twenty to fifty fantasy cards. The characters and animals in the card shows would, for the most part, be treated with some exaggeration. They would look extremely cute, making people quite fond of them.
Card shows had already appeared thirty years before, but they really only started catching on ten years before, as an up and coming new industry. 


This is both a work of science fiction and an exploration of the meaning of life, love, literature and art. Brainpower is no longer the main ingredient for being human in this far distant future world.  Spirituality, physical balance, and diligence all come together as integrity for Chen Mu, the Card Apprentice.  The cards which Chen Mu masters in his own scrappy way, distill all the powers of the cosmos –  human and nonhuman –  into something that is not a book, not technology, and neither art nor magic, but is these and more.  Learn about these strange cards, which can embody everything you might imagine for the future of technology, but also a future beyond technology which promotes the best, and sometimes the worst, from mankind’s past.
