A place for me to write ideas and you to use them

I had a thought what if I made random titles and/or intros that people can use to make fun novels.
I was thinking of making novels but thought to myself that I don't really have the talent to make novels to the end or realy capture the audience attention. I could capture the attention for a short while but not for the whole novel.
I just hope one of my ideas can become a good novel.

The Crawford Shopping Center lived up to its reputation as one of the biggest shopping complexes in the country. It was still only nine in the morning, but there were already a lot of people busy with their shopping. Andrea dragged the two children towards the clothing stores. She began to dress them in various clothes.
The eyes of the salesladies became excited when they saw the pretty young girl and the angelic boy start a mini fashion show with the help of Andrea's coaxing. Ciel and Kate were quite helpless against Andrea. She started taking pictures of them using Heinz's camera as they tried the different clothes that she personally picked for them. They had no choice but to strike poses as the giggling mother took their pictures.
The pitiful bodyguards that came along became the bag carriers as the trio bought things left, right, and center. Heinz did a good job as their chaperone and complimented the 'three kids' for their outstanding tastes. Unfortunately, this prompted them to buy more.
Andrea was not worried about the bill because she was using her husband's credit card so the sky was the limit. Since her husband was working hard to earn money, it was only natural for her as his wife to spend it. This was Andrea's reasoning and she didn't feel guilty about it. Not one tiny bit. Women were scary, especially when they hold grudges.
"Did you receive any news from my parents?" Andrea asked Heinz while the two kids were changing clothes.
Heinz just finished talking to someone on his mobile phone and Andrea assumed that it was her parents who made the call. "Yes, they're starting to prepare the venue, My Lady," Heinz replied. "So far, things are going according to plan."
"That's good. I want everything to be perfect. After all, this is a special day."
"The Sir, and the Madam, are doing their best. With their help, success is guaranteed."  Heinz reassured her. "We only need to do our part, My Lady."
Yes, they only need to keep the kids away from the manor until the preparations were finished.
"When the kids return we are going to watch a movie," Andrea said, excitedly. "It's been a while since I watched a movie on the big screen."
"My Lady, I heard that the latest animated film from Disney was good. If I remember correctly, the title was The Land Before Time: The Stone of Cold Fire. I'm sure the kids will love it."
"Eh? Why would we watch that kiddy show? I was planning to watch 'Final Destination' with them. I've been waiting for it for months. Nothing is going to stop me from watching it."
Heinz almost choked when he heard Andrea's plan. He lightly coughed to hide his embarrassment. Letting the kids watch a horror film? What about age restrictions? Are they even allowed to watch it in the first place?
Various questions appeared in the butler's head, however he swat them away immediately. He would not allow Ciel and Kate to watch Final Destination. His lips twitched as he imagined the scene of the two kids leaving the movie theater with the eyes of a dead fish. If that were to happen, then everything they had prepared for today would be all for naught.
"My Lady, please reconsider." Heinz pleaded. "A movie like that is not suitable for young audiences. The young master, and young lady might have nightmares after watching that show. Can your conscience allow that to happen?"
Andrea pressed her lips together. She didn't understand why Heinz was being unreasonable. Isn't it just a movie? What's so scary about watching a movie? Isn't it just a work of fiction?
Heinz forgot that Andrea was the type that liked to 'act before she thinks'. She could be very stubborn at times and the way she viewed things was sometimes different from other people. You could even say that common sense didn't apply to her. She liked to do things her way without thinking about the consequences. This attitude of hers had landed Heinz and Vincent in all sorts of trouble in the past. It was always their job to clean up after her mess.
"Heinz, what's so bad about Final Destination? It teaches people to be careful so that they don't accidentally die." Andrea decided to use proper reasoning to make Heinz understand. "If you are careful, and observe your surroundings, you will be able to live longer. Besides, it's just a fictional movie and not a true story."
"My Lady, that movie is meant for adults. There are scenes that are not appropriate for young children to watch," Heinz countered using proper logic. "If they were a bit older then perhaps they would be able to appreciate it. However, they are still young."
Andrea was still unconvinced. That just proves how stubborn she was.
"Oh? You also said the same thing when I brought Ciel to watch Jurassic Park," Andrea smiled sweetly. "My baby liked the movie very much. He wasn't even afraid of the T-Rex. You worry too much, Heinz."
"My Lady, Jurassic Park and Final Destination are very different from each other." Heinz had no intention of backing down. "If you really insist on watching Final Destination, then I will accompany the young master and young lady to watch the Disney Movie. We'll meet up afterward. What do you think, My Lady?"
Heinz was prepared to make a compromise. For the sake of the children, he was willing to take a step back and allow Andrea to watch Final Destination by herself.
"I think you're worrying too much." Andrea pouted. "Let's ask the kids when they get here. Let them decide for themselves."
A few minutes later, the group headed for the cinema. Andrea managed to convince Ciel to watch Final Destination. Although Kate was afraid of horror movies, she would accompany Ciel wherever he went. Andrea had a smug look on her face as she gave Heinz the see-I-told-you expression.
Heinz held back a sigh and didn't say anything. The movie was 'Rated R' which meant anyone under 17 was not allowed to watch it, unless they were accompanied by adults. Since Andrea and Heinz were there, the kids were allowed to enter the movie theatre.
When the movie started, Kate held Ciel's hand. She would not admit it, but she's not good with horror stories. Ciel knew that Kate was a scaredy cat and felt her anxiousness. He gripped her hand tightly to reassure her that he was here for her.
Heinz watched the movie with mild interest. He almost laughed out loud when he saw the reaction of the trio during a scene where the main character was reading a Penthouse Magazine, and on the page was a shirtless woman. Ciel immediately covered Kate's eyes, and Andrea covered Ciel's. Although the scene only lasted for a few seconds, it still showed how protective the mother and son pair were. Heinz frowned because the movie was filled with abusive and coarse language that was not suitable for children.
Just as Heinz predicted, Kate's eyes were closed during some of the bloody scenes as she desperately hugged Ciel's arm for comfort (a soft whimper escaped her lips during the kitchen scene). Ciel, on the other hand, didn't particularly liked or disliked the movie. He made sure to hold Kate's hand and hugged her during the scary parts (especially during the kitchen scene). As for Andrea, she seemed a bit disappointed. She was expecting something more, but sadly, it didn't meet her expectations.
When the movie ended, the group went to a restaurant to eat. Kate didn't order any meat dishes, and Ciel followed suit. Andrea was about to order a steak, but changed her mind halfway. Hence, they had salads, sandwiches (no meat added), and desserts for lunch.
Ciel knew that Kate still hadn't recovered from watching the movie so he took her to the arcade. It was there where they saw a group of people dancing on a machine. The two of them got curious and went to check it out. The game was called Dancing Stage (Dance Dance Revolution), and the two children were soon hooked by what they saw. After two songs, the dancers stepped down and no one else took their place.
Andrea and Heinz glanced at each other and knew that this was a good opportunity to help Kate get over her fright from the movie. The two combined forces and coaxed the two children to try it out. Ciel was very perceptive and understood his mother's goal. He took charge of the situation and held Kate's hand, guiding her to the dance machine.
At first, Kate was embarrassed because there were a lot of people watching them. The crowd cheered when they saw the pretty girl and handsome boy step on top of the dance machine. Since both of them were beginners, Ciel chose the songs with lower difficulty first.
Both of them made a few mistakes, but it didn't take long before the two of them were following the beat of the music. Andrea and Heinz cheered and clapped with the crowd as the two kids finished their first song. Ironically, Ciel and Kate got addicted to the Dancing Stage. They even went as far as to challenge the difficult songs after their initial embarrassment had faded away. Andrea was also itching to give it a go, but Heinz held her back.
"Why are you stopping me?"
"Let the two of them have their fun first."
"How about my fun?" Andrea pouted. "Heinz, you're forgetting that I'm your employer. Why are you always getting in my way?"
"It's not like I'm getting in your way, My Lady," Heinz replied. "I just want you to listen to my idea first."
"Mmm? This better be good."
"My Lady, I think it would be best if we…"
Heinz proposed that they purchase their own dance machine and install it at the manor. Andrea liked the idea very much and immediately assigned the butler to contact the game supplier and have the machine delivered as soon as possible.
Little did they know that this decision of theirs would not only make the two children happy, but would also cause Andrea's parents to get addicted and join the Dance Dance Revolution Craze.
But that is another story for another time.

Kate once had it all. Clothes, food, a place to stay, and a loving family. However, it all ended when her parents were murdered by a mysterious organization. Stella, her split personality, was the reason she barely made it out with her life. Living and hiding on the streets was a very difficult thing to do for a nine-year-old, but Stella helped her along the way.

A few years passed as she lived everyday in desperation. Tired, hungry, bitter, and on the verge of collapse, she was saved by a young boy when things took a turn for the worse. His name was Ciel Summers, her future dearest one.

Things were going smoothly until she managed to pass the entrance exam to the prestigious Saint Claire Academy. Hidden schemes played behind the scenes as a serum capable of awakening the latent powers of anyone below the age of 15 was developed.

They set their eyes on the elite students of the academy, and kidnapped Ciel, who became an unwilling test subject. It was the beginning of a series of events, which led Kate to discover the name of the organization that killed her parents and the secrets that were buried deep within her body.

The table fell into more giggles, a few of the other tables looking over, getting a little curious as to what the amusing topic was. They had all kept their eyes open seeing the two families together, wanting to see a more real interaction, however they had not expected something this real. They really did just seem like a family enjoying brunch. A few of the spectators could not help but feel the Lore and Reyes presidents had severely downplayed how good a relation there was between the two families. 
While people had not once questioned the announced engagement, that was not the same for the merger itself. While the majority of the public had been bought by the press conference, there was still chatter and gossip whether the families really got along. No parent would publicly announce their distaste towards their child's partner, especially in high society. And it was no doubt that the merger was good for both business and publicity. However, that did not mean the two families really got along – the only people who would know that were those lucky reporters to have seen the childish interaction between the famous couple after the press conference.
It would be an understatement to say there were a few people waiting to see if the families would slip up, ready to grab onto any sort of tension between the two successful businesses; this was both for gossip and business purposes. Unfortunately for those hoping to profit off such things, this brunch only highlighted how tight knit the two families had become. It would have been absurd for anyone to believe the truth, that they had only become friend a couple weeks ago. Of course it could have been an act, the entire thing, but people had enough trust in both the Reyes' and Lore's integrity.

People were so full of thoughts regarding the entire two-family unit, they had all failed to see the ugly faces that both second sons were making, both shaken at the mere mention of homosexual intercourse in relation to them. 
Thing had calmed down dramatically since the initial marriage meeting a week ago, and Joshua was only just realising it. They had been talking about fake relationships the whole time, it had slowly slipped his mind how traumatised he had been upon realising his parents think he is gay. Since then, the prospect of the two being interested in each other outside of the fake relationship had only been brought up once when Caroline had been making sure they were alright marrying. That had been the stem of the lie. 
Joshua had been conscious of the fact that he was pretending he was gay, pretending he was in a relationship with the Reyes' second son. But it had all been just that, pretending. This was the first time he had been aware that, while he was pretending, to everyone else it was a real relationship. A real couple. 
The man suddenly felt a little betrayed by all the novels he had read, while he had been so jaded as to not think of the BL novels he had read, he was aware that he had thrown himself into another insane trope: pretending to be gay – the main reason he did not think of them was the 100% success rate of all those fictional couples, now finding himself in that situation he felt almost taunted by it. But that was not the problem at hand, not one of those novels had every expressed how horribly hard it was to have to live with this lie, or how hard it would hit one's pride.

Meanwhile, Henry's initial reaction had been exclaiming 'I was not a virgin to start with!'. Of course that was all in his head, as much as it had hurt his ego, he was not destroying the whole plan to save some face.
That being said, he really did wish he could.
The next thing to enter his mind was the fact that their families had insinuated that the Joshua and he had… together – it was too hard on Henry to even think of having sex with a man. It made his blood run cold. Why did they think that a straight man would do that with another man! 

In reality, while Henry would like to think it had been the gay sex that was bothering him the most, it was not. He was pretending to be interested in Joshua, essentially proving his parents' insane conclusion on his sexuality; he was not ignorant, he knew that. The real problem was that his family, after thinking he was a closeted gay virgin, happily believed that he went and slept with the first man he had been introduced to. What sort of desperate person did they think he was? It was a little insulting. Henry and Joshua had known each other a week, were their minds no moving a little too fast?
What had actually gone through the head of both families was in fact wishful thinking. They were so happy to see the two get along so well and become more expressive, they did not care about the fact that they had only met last week. Also, the parents saw both men as the adults they were, even if they did think it was fast, they did not think they would have the right to interfere unless it seemed harmful.

Suddenly, Henry's train of thought halted. 'Did he say hickeys?' he suddenly thought to himself. And what had been the 'other marks'? 
It was only then the trail of kiss marks that trailed down into the neck of Joshua Lore's white t-shirt hit him. Henry had no idea how he hadn't seen it before, but they were not remotely subtle. His eyes went wide in horror, jaw slightly slack. Not knowing what else to do, Henry sent Joshua an urgent look, slowly pointing to his neck. 
The other man had slowly realised what his elder brother had said, looking to see Henry stuck in shock. He immediately looked down at his chest tugging the neck of his top a little, face paling further. Then suddenly he felt a tug at his mind, had he seen wrong? Snapping his eyes up, he looked at the base of Henry's neck, mouth falling agape at the clear hand mark. The man choked on his own breath. 

Their family could only continue to laugh, none of them quite believing the two men had such an adorable side to them.

Joshua stood up quite suddenly, in a bit of a panic. "I-I… uh, t-toilet." The man could barely get his words out as he stumbled and tripped on them. Henry looked up at Joshua for a second before nodding, also standing up. "Yeah, bathroom."
Their families could only laugh harder, everyone already paying attention with how abruptly the second Lore son had stood up. All eyes were on them now. But neither Joshua nor Henry were aware of it, too much had just happened. 
Slowly, they walked towards the restaurant's washroom, meeting at the tail of the table and walking side by side. However, they did not make it particularly far.

A server, who at first had been mesmerised by the two's superior looks, had looked again at their profiles in passing, catching a glimpse of the trail of hickeys on Joshua's neck; he stumbled in shock. The empty table he had just cleared away was what he bumped into, the table moving enough to knock his colleague off balance. At that exact moment, her heel snapped, the young part-timer falling. Of course, she grabbed the first thing she could, which happened to be a couple of chairs. In one of them, there was a customer who ended up knocking the table, a glass bottle of water breaking on the floor. The other chair was empty, not having the weight to stop the waitress's descent, falling along with her. It was the leg of the said chair that brought the real problem; with a surprising amount of force, the chair leg swung, hitting Joshua's ankle, the distracted man toppling to the side. 
On a normal occasion, there would not have been a problem even if he had managed to be knocked over. Joshua's memory and amazing thinking speed would have allowed the man to quickly stop himself from falling, or at least getting hurt. But this time he was ailed with a severe hangover, topped off by the insane situation he had found himself in a matter of seconds ago. The most he could work out was that he was falling and that he was not capable of stopping himself. In the end he braced for the impact with the floor.
The impact, however, was not what he expected.

“They tried to kill your sister, thrice.”
“As well as your company, and sister-in-law with it.”
They were both more than aware that the merger had become a matter of life and death, that it had been that way from the moment the Q Group suspected anything, that it had reached a terrifyingly dangerous level. 
More terrifying than the prospects of being engaged to a man. 
The two could only grimace and mutter in unison. 
“We have to get married.”

Joshua Lore is the 23 year old second son of the second most successful company in Country A.
Henry Reyes is the 22 year old second son of the third most successful company in Country A.

Both very rich. Both very pretty. 
Most importantly, both extremely straight.

Yet due to a misconception on their parents' part and a company merger combined with some questionable photography with their androgynous looks, they find themselves in a marriage meeting, with each other. 
Of course they are going to reject this, or so they thought...

It was a sunny day and the air was extremely clear, a huge crowd of young adults had gathered in a festively decorated square. Their appearance was almost identical to a human, if not for a single small horn on their forehead. It was not more than 1 cm in height and diameter, yet each and everyone raised it into the sky full of pride.
Despite the sheer size of the crowd, not a single word was spoken as everyone had their eyes on the front. There was an almost tangible tension in this silence. All of them waited for the event, that would define their future.
Every single one of them was aware of its importance as only their faint breathing could be heard. It became more than obvious, by just how much anticipation was placed on it.
More and more time passed but not one displeased voice could be heard, as a deafening silence filled the colourful square. But none of them was prepared for how long the waiting period would stretch for.
Although there was general confusion about the lack of development, they still did not dare to make any ruckus and endured the waiting period without any complaints. Nobody wanted to bring shame onto themselves and so they continued to stand straight with their mouths tightly closed.
It was a praiseworthy display of perseverance but there was no one to compliment them on it.  It was a battle of patience in sheer solitude. No words there exchanged, but many gazes instead. Their eyes lingered on the surrounding members of the crowd resulting in a resurgence of energy to not give in.
This weird form of competition was born out the high expectancy and their competitive spirit. For the very first time in their history, something like this did occur leaving everyone a bit lost what exactly was demanded of them.
The pressure kept on the increase with the passage of time, yet each and everyone did not even consider giving up. Their pride forbade them from stepping down, as a lot was on the line for them.
Not only was their pride at stake but they also faced the unknown consequences that would result out of failure. But with every danger came an opportunity and the long waiting was deemed a test of their mettle.
At least this was their interpretation of the long duration of absolute standing still they found themselves in. The true cause for all of this was entirely unrelated to them, but nobody could have seen it coming.
As the session of competitive waiting commenced, another weird observation could be made. Even more, confused by the competition, was the men in charge of supervising it. His horn reached a length of 20 centimetres and his body was full of scars. He supervised many of these events and this was the very first time something like this had happened.
Baffled, he did not know how he should handle this affair, as he was afraid of being reprimanded for failing such an important issue. By admitting his fault, he would not only bring shame upon the Lady who had chosen him but also risk his life.
Replacing him would be done with utter ease and no one would bat an eye if he were to disappear. For his Lady he was just one of many and with his failure, he would be discarded without a second thought.
He spared a glance at the many young males giving their all not to fall behind and could only shake his head. Not many of them would return with their lives because their lives as well were deemed as disposable.
The memories of the cruel battle were still vivid as his hands were dyed in blood. He had proven his worth and persisted to the end, yet no one had shown any interest in him, as he was declared to be nothing more than second-rate man.
This judgement followed him all of his life and was something he could not escape from.  Luckily enough he was given the honour of supervising the holy procedure in the name of his lady. Something which he could not reject.
An irregularity like this was something he had never seen or heard about, but as long as the lives of the participants were not in danger, he would never interfere. After all, intervening without a proper cause, would be another way to ruin his life.
Such an occurrence should never happen without a reason since many eyes are directed at this competition. It was a struggle between many different factions to find the next suitable candidate. Once he had yearned to reach that status as well.
Yet once he had seen those candidates, he had to admit the vast difference in ability, it was fortunate enough that he was able to keep his life. Their horns towered over him and had left a fearful impression in the back of his mind. In the end, he just had been too inferior to them.
Only the strongest would be chosen, while weak people like him were at the mercy of everyone. It was a cruel and harsh fight but all of this was considered to be natural. He felt a bit envious about these young adults, who were so full of ambition and motivation. It reminded him of the time before he stepped through that gate to that domain of death.
He might have left the domain with his life but the horror stayed with him It would never leave him as long as he lived. His horn was a reminder of how many lives he had taken in that place.
Whenever he looked at the proof of his manhood, he felt a sense of achievement and a lot of pride, but with it came with a lot of sadness as well. He had lost sight of himself and paid a terrible price. Most people who lost their lives in that place live on in others, but he had led their effort gone to waste.
This burden was something, which every strong man had to carry and it was an honour to have it. It was proof of their quality as a man. Just like their ancestors did before them, only the strong shall survive and serve.
As tradition dictates, only the best was suitable for the choosing of a lady. Their success was built on the sacrifice of many to form a few strong. That is the very foundation their race has been built one.
Normally a smile would have been on his face, as he remembered the noble history of his ancestors but at this very moment, hie did not feel like it, as the mysterious event was still ongoing. Had a change occurred, which he was not notified off?
A bad premonition overcame him, as he looked on in sheer horror as the competition continued. There was something wrong and the unease never fully went away the more he thought about what exactly was occurring.
Knowing the feeling of the next generation he was more than worried, that some lasting repercussions would be born out of this event. If it did not change soon, his head would roll. Especially if his lady became wind of it. He could not fathom why such a simple task, had suddenly turned into an event threatening his livelihood.
His only hope was that the issue would resolve by itself, which seemed unlikely given the duration the status quo had lasted for by now. A prayer was directed to his God to guide him but he did not receive any help.
The hard competition of waiting in silence resumed in full force and nobody knew how long it would last. Although there seemingly was no threat to the lives of the young adults, any time wasted standing there doing nothing was inexcusable.
But the portal should have opened by now, yet the place where its arrival was more than due remained empty. Every single one of them started at it, awaiting its appearance and they were kept on being disappointed.
it was them when a bright light eliminated the place and the portal everyone had yearned for appeared with all its glory. But no one dared to make the first step, as they stared with their eyes wide open.
Suddenly a figure stepped out of the portal with a wide grin on its face. Its features strikingly resembled the ones of the youth in front of the portal. There was only a singular difference, he did not have 1 horn on top of his but 3 with a length of over 20 centimetres.
Dressed in a white garment, he looked cheerful at the crowd. Upon noticing their rather plain clothing he felt slightly dejected but did not do anything else about it. It was him who was late to holding this ceremony and therefore he had to make up for it.
With a wave of his arms, a ginormous amount of magic was moved and everyone felt their horns tingling and increasing in size. All of them lowered their head and bowed in front of such generosity.
Yet the one responsible for this act remained unperturbed and clicked his tongue in annoyance. He wanted nothing more than to go along with the procedure and needed the people to hurry up since they were not the only ones waiting for him.
Not waiting for these people to lift their head he started to speak.
" That should be enough. We all know just how important the upcoming months are for you. So I am not going to bother to explain the rules, everyone knows what to do. I will not interfere regardless of what is done inside of it. Remember to become the best in order to be chosen." 
 This short speech was done without any motivation and he yawned as he stared at the mesmerized look of the group. The eyes were always the same, he had grown numb to them a long time ago. What seemed marvellous and promising to them, was nothing more than a chore for him.
It was his duty to watch over these pitiful children, as they did everything just to be appealing. If this race was not so fertile, he would not have to hold so many ceremonies. Looking at the sheer size of youths he felt nothing more than a pure ecstasy. 
The bloodshed that would occur would be incomparable to any time before and if he thought about the involvement about the human, he could not help himself and became excited. Finally, something would change in the otherwise boring repetition.
" My dear children, you have proven your worth by waiting for so long. My gift shall be your reward and it shall be in the future if you produce the necessary achievements." Seeing the listening in their eyes he had succeeded in giving them even more motivation.
He would not tell them about the human itself as these crude people would not understand a single thing about it. The significance of the event that he bore witness to can not be understood by these boorish mortals.
In all of this time, he had never even dreamed about seeing such a strange sight, but the human managed to do something which was unheard of. Truth be told, even he had never thought such a thing to be in the realm of possibility.
Sadly he could not speak to the human, as the sounds it made had no rhyme or reason to them. He had tried every language he knew, but it was to no avail, as the human did not seem to understand him either.
Otherwise, he would have loved to ask the human what exactly he did. What a truly interesting fellow, he had not even arrived in his domain and he already had caused such a scene.  Receiving that kind of attention, without having done something was indeed something inexplicable to him.
" Hereby I declare the time of Maturity has come" As the words were loudly proclaimed a war crime escaped out of every single mouth to present their will. Step by step they wandered into the portal without looking back.
It was an awe-inspiring sight but in the end, they were just lambs before the slaughter. But he could not care less about them, it did not take long before there was another wave of young and foolish children hoping for the best.
Amongst these children there was no quality whatsoever, the only thing they had were the quantity. It was hard to feel pity when life meant so little. It is due to that reason, that the Gods do not even pay attention to this place of misery.
Their abilities were truly pitiful in comparison to their counterpart and therefore rightfully classified as the lowest of the low. Far too many were needed to produce a single one with good capabilities. This would never change, they were far too adamant on not changing the ways of old for that.

The task for the human would be quite an arduous one, as it required a lot of time to accomplish. Though the hardest part would be to convey the actual task since communication has proven to be difficult up to this point.
As for the glorious impression of youth walking in his portal he had already forgotten about it. The portal would close on its own after 30 minutes had passed. He was already on his way to the next ceremony with yet another group of youths staring at him full of desire.
Once again he held the same speech, gave out the same gift and watched on as the same people walked into his portal. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, as he complained inwardly about his duty. Watching the human was so much more fascinating than seeing the same acts from the same people in the same manner yet another time.
But sadly he could not forsake his duty as it needed to be done and sadly he could not make the process any faster, there were just too many of them. He cursed their fertility yet another time before hurrying to the next station.
The mundanity of the situation was making him furious. Finally, there was an interesting change and yet he could not even watch it. It was vexing for him to see the extent his duty began to interfere with his passion.
He just hoped that the human would not do anything too interesting while he was not watching, but knowing the human, he will without a doubt do something incredible. He just hoped that the human would not bring any danger upon himself.
But just as usual Moirai was 2 steps ahead in that regard.

The rain had continued straight for a full day and night, outside, in the military dead pit, an arm suddenly stuck out.
The patrolling night militia got so scared he dropped his lantern, scurrying back to the outpost to report to the Commander
The Commander as well as the night patrol went together, blade and lantern in hand, leaving the outpost to survey it carefully
The two of them look out, only to see in the pouring rain, a silhouette silently sitting amidst the corpses
The Commander lifts his lantern for a wider view, revealing to silhouette to be a soldier, wearing tattered leather armor, leaning on a stack of skulls, his back turned to them.
The Commander tightly grips his blade and asks in a low voice: "Who's there?"
From the pouring rain, only a faint sound returns: "I'm from the Vanguard, right now I'm too heavily injured, can't move"
Can't move?
The Commander's expression slightly relaxes, lowering his blade and walks forward: "Oh so you're a brother from the Vanguard, come, I'll help you"
"Thank you"
"You're welcome, die"
The blade slash separates the rain, gleaming a cold silver color, cutting straight at the soldier's neck
The Commander's slash is incredibly sharp, as well as being exactly timed, cleanly hacking off the soldier's head, rolling straight back down the dead pit.
One slash, no more nuisance!
The Commander smirks and sheaths his blade, but suddenly his face changes: "Shi -----"
A silhouette jumps from the soldier's feet amongst the dead bodies, a cold silver gleam in his hand slashes through the Commander's arm.
The arm, as well as the blade all got cut aside, a splash of blood shoots out from where the cut is, but is quickly drowned out by the screaming night rain and wind.
An intense pain rushes through his head, the Commander's face shows disbelief, in his eyes reflect a silhouette descending from a jump.
A saber gradually becomes bigger inside that reflection
A short second, the saber stabs straight into his socket
The intense pain only lasted for moments, afterwards is nothing but blackness
A few breaths later
The young man pulls his saber from the Commander's eye socket
The Commander's corpse falls back, plopping straight into the muddy water behind
The young man keeps his grip on the saber, standing still
The night rain keeps pouring, wiping the mud from the young man's face, revealing a pair of shining pupils
Suddenly, the eyes become sharp
Right at his feet, the Commander's stomach inflates, inside a strange gurgling sound
The young man takes a deep breath, both hands on his saber, stabbing straight into the Commander's now-bloated stomach
A shriek that cannot have come from a human resounds, a black mist suddenly burst from the Commander's stomach, the inside clearly violent, like something is desperately trying to escape
Then, the Commander's stomach rips open, a dry, thin, black claw reaches out
Before the horrid demonic claw could even attempt anything, the young man already starts to intensely twist his saber handle
"Die!"
Only one word
The writhing corpse suddenly stop dead, the demonic claw also drops, no longer moving.
Everything is silent again
A stinky black blood begins to leak from under the Commander's corpse
Seeing that black blood, the young man finally breaths out slightly, withdrawing his saber

"He was not human" Gu Qing Shan replies while evaluating the militia
The militia is wearing an old-type leather armor, this type of armor that doesn't even have a device to receive spirit energy – even a military branch that's despised to the max doesn't use this old antique toy
 Gu Qing Shan looks again at himself, only to see the same type of antique toy, all of his original equipment are all gone
This is strange
The militia leans slightly closer to the dead pit, the Commander's deformed corpse is still sitting in the mud
The militia hesitates: "But but… But when you killed him, how did you know he wasn't human?"
Gu Qing Shan shrugs: "I was only being careful, he attacked first"
Gu Qing Shan went back, dragged the Commander's corpse straight in front of the militia's face for him to see
"Look, this is a Skin-shedding Blood Demon"
Gu Qing Shan use his saber to reveal inside the Commander's stomach, to see a blacken-bodied, strange straight-standing pupils, scary-faced monster
Seeing the monster's corpse with his own eyes, the militia is even more shaken
Remembering his comrades that have been strangely dying one-by-one for the last few days, he felt sheer cold down his spine, finally holding gratitude for the young man in front of him
The militia calms himself down and ask: "You said you were called Gu Qing Shan?"
"Yes"
"From Proud Steed Branch?"
"Yes"
"Your badge?"
Gu Qing Shan takes out his badge, checks for himself then throw it to the militia to check
This badge is much heavier than he remembered
With the current level of smithing, a simple identification badge can be as light as a sheet of paper, why does the badge he had on himself weigh so much, almost like a weight.

The militia takes the badge and check carefully, on it inscribed 6 words "Proud Stead Branch Gu Qing Shan", the face of the badge clearly floats mist-like light, full of life.

The militia breaths out, no longer nervous on his face, only a lot of fatigue: "Finally a living person, come, we can't stay long outside, come with me into the outpost"

-Vanguard Legion: this isn't an actual name but rather a position for a legion, basically they're the first into battle

-Invisibility formation: formations in general are a main-piece in many Xianxia and even Wuxia novels. They are a Daoist concept that Feng Shui originates from, basically the process of harnessing natural power for one's personal use. However Formations have evolved over time and now generally refers to the art of arranging Power Items( items that inherently have power) in certain ways to achieve whatever effects the user want. Formations in novels are generally hard to grasp or use due to requiring a lot of calculations and set up.

I was just at 30,000,000 just days ago and yet here we are looking at more than triple the fan base and yet I hadn't even done anything to deserve this kind of attention. My fans were clamoring for me to become an idol already, and droves of studios were emailing me trying to be the one that I would choose. So, I decided it was time to make THAT announcement. Titling my livestream, "I Intend To Self Debut", I started up my stream and waited for the fans to pour on in. Before long over 1,000,000 fans were watching my stream and I thought that this was a decent enough number to make my announcement. Clearing my throat I began to speak.



"Hello everyone, it's TheRealRaven here with a little update broadcast. I have noticed that many of you have been begging for me to debut as an idol, and to be honest I would really love to do this however it will be on my terms and on my own. However, since they did I am immensely grateful because now I can live my perfect little shut-in life of my dreams. I had always wanted to shut myself indoors playing video games all day, reading light novels and snacking on snacks and drinking on them energy drinks. And now, that it is my reality, I feel kind of lonely. Honestly the old me would have been on cloud nine at this point and to be honest during the first couple of days back I was, but now I want something more in my life. I may be a girl now, but I didn't suddenly grow an interest in men, on the contrary I am even more determined to find a beautiful girl and make her mine. I know that it is kind of unconventional and my parents will have a very hard time having grandchildren, however if I find the right guy in the future I just might consider letting them into my little harem if I build one that is. I admit I had always fantasized about building my own harem of beautiful girls and indulging myself in pleasure day in and day out with them, however now I also have to consider the possibility of adding guys into the mix also. No scratch that I would only allow one guy into the harem, too many guys would just cause trouble. After calming my mom down with dad's help, I went back upstairs to my room, however I had the intentions of going for a drive to the public library. Looking up, I felt my soul leave my body. Golden irises, chocolate brown hair and jade white skin, pink lips and standing at the same height as me was a gorgeous heaven shaking beauty of nation destroying proportions. I quickly noticed her name tag which read as, "Mei". She is Chinese! Yes score one for me! Clearing my throat as I realized that I had been ogling her for a good few seconds, I blushed crimson and said, "Y-yes, T-that's my order thank mew!" I bit my tongue at the end there, which caused Mei to giggle shyly. I felt a fire burning in my heart as I asked her, "Hey I have nothing going on today, when does your shift end? Maybe we could hang out and talk about books and stuff?" Books?! Really girl the best you got is books?! I mean I know that we are in a library but come on, can't you do better than that? However, she seemed to be an easy mark, as she looked at me with sparkling eyes, and nodded her head saying, "Actually my shift was just about to end, if you can wait 10 minutes I can join you over here." I swear the Goddess of Matches is watching over me right now! She said yes! Of course, she probably just sees me as another girl that wants to make a friend. However, I will test the waters over time and see if I can make this girl my wifey!



Those 10 minutes were like an eternity, but like any long sentence they eventually come to an end, and at long last Mei walked over to me with a faint blush on her face as she sat down shyly and said, "Hi my name is Mei and I am 18 years old! I love reading BL light novels and Yuri light novels! Yes I am one of those, and otaku but that is me!" Oh my God! I found a comrade, and she reads Yuri! There is hope for me after all then! Next I introduced myself. "My name is Raven also 18 and I also happen to be an otaku that likes the same genres of light novels as you! We will get along quite nicely don't you think?" Giggling in excitement, Mei nodded and before long we began to debate about all kinds of things such as our waifus and our mans. I laughed as we had many waifus in common. "A strong ray of light enveloped his entire body. His facial features couldn't be seen clearly, but his height should be around 177 to 180 cm. He wasn't obese or too skinny. He should have short hair…"
"Although his body was covered in strong rays of light, his brows weren't too thick, his frontal bone wasn't too high, and his facial features were positioned pretty evenly…"
Following Wei Youran's description, a rough sketch of a portrait was eventually produced.

Soon after that, the corner of her lips curled; a layman would not have been able to spot this change in expression. However, it was a criminal psychologist who was sitting across Wei You Ran. 
"Officer Wei, this was my first time seeing you smile…"
"It seems like this man is who Officer Wei is looking for."

He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villainess at the end.

"Well, Eric, would you let my publishing house take care of your book ?" Michael Klaus didn't try to hide his intentions, as he very bluntly said.
 
Eric looked at the already printed and bounded manuscript that the black girl gave him, and said to Michael Klaus: "I'm sorry, Michael, though I appreciate your recognition, but you know, I want to try my luck with some of the larger publishing houses. Parents hope for their children to make it to the Ivy League, don't they ?"
 
Michael did not have the slightest expression of contempt or displeasure as he smiled and said: "Eric, you don't seem to have a full understanding of those large publishing companies, maybe we could find a place to talk, I know a cafe not far from here, my treat, how about it ?"
 
Eric took back the manuscript, and put it into his bag as he straightforwardly replied: "I'm sorry, Michael, I'm late for work, if in the future my manuscript gets rejected by those publishers, I will contact you."
 
Eric carried his backpack and got out of the printing shop, he started his car and drove towards the restaurant.
Michael hesitated a little, before immediately rushing out of the shop, getting into his car and following him. He had a feeling that if he missed this opportunity, he might regret it forever. This feeling he got was 30% because the Jurassic Park novel and 70% because of that young man called Eric.
 
Although he had only read the top half of the novel, Michael was surprised by the lad's knowledge. It had to be known that teens his age may have never heard of genetic engineering, chaos theory, nanotechnology and other high-tech factors.
