"Are all of these things belongs to your girlfriend?" I asked Nick who showed me to Adhiti's old room. Her things are still there. All neat and tidy. The room feels so cold too. 

"Yes. She got lots of unused clothes there. You can use it."

"What about my bike?" I asked him while roaming my eyes around the roam. 

"Your bike is still alive. I am going to fix it for you." Honestly, I can fix it by myself. I am quite good in mechanics… 

"Is there any chance that a shop or boutique is near here for me to buy my personal things than using other people's personal things?" 

"It is far away from here." he said leaning on the wall next to the door. "You have to use her clothes at least temporarily. Then on weekend I can drive you to mall." 

"I can dri—"

"Sure, you can drive alone together with the people chasing you and wanted your head off." He cut me. He's right. I can't drive alone because of the people who wanted me dead. 

 Marissa entered the room with beautiful smile. She handed me two uniforms that is still covered in plastic. Then she gave me a small bag and when I open it, it contains make-ups and other personal things for girls. 

"The size of the uniform suits you. I am perfectly sure of it. And oh, there are shoes you will love that I just bought yesterday. Boots and leather shoes you love right?" she asked. I looked at the boots that I am wearing. She's right. 

 She explain to me few things about the room which is a little bit wide. The bed has four poster with curtains. Then she left the room and Nick or should I say Mister Professor who is still leaning on the wall. I stopped and looked at my feet where there is a black Persian cat purring and rubbing herself or himself on me. I immediately stepped back that makes her purr more and complains. 

"That's Katherine, Adhiti's cat." 

"I am allergic to cats." I told him. I hold my nose and I sneeze really, sneeze. Good, I am really expecting a sneeze. 

"Sorry." He said walk towards to me and then he picks the cat in front of me. "I didn't know that you are allergic to cats. I will bring med for you." 

 He left the room with the cat. So much for my lies. I roam around the room and it is sweet that they kept things around here. I went to the closet and see the pajama collections on the drawers. I pick the black one and a panty that is unused. 

 I went to the bathroom to take a long hot bath. When I stepped on the shower after putting all the lose clothes that Nick put on me while I am unconscious, I can't help to get excited to bath myself. I scrub the new soap on my body. I still got small bruises on my sides and my wounds are gone leaving a pinkish circles and lines. 

 After bathing, I wrapped the soft towel around my nude body and walk to the sink to brush my teeth. I open the cabinet behind the mirror and took the new toothbrush. I brush my teeth thoroughly while staring at my face at the mirror. I had grown up and my facial features changed a little. I am more serious, and fiercer. My playful sides are gone. I am a new person now. I temporarily washed out all those personality for me to find out what I am. 

 When I got out of the bathroom, I almost jump when I saw Nick beside the bed, staring at the picture frame. I immediately changed my expression. A boring and emotionless one and calm. He looked at me. His eyes sparkle on me. 

"I—Uh..." he murmured. "Here's your schedule." He said putting the paper on the side table. He stares at the picture frame for a moment. 

"Mister—"

"Call me Nick." He said cutting me off walking directly to me. 

"Nick, I would like to ask if the girl on that picture is Adhiti?" 

"Yes." He said looking directly into my eyes. His eyes traced on my naked shoulders and arms. "Those marks?" I look down on my shoulders where my marks are. I have to lie about it too.

"I like tattoos that is why." I said. The truth was it is actually my marks. It glows when I am attached to nature or it glows when I am controlling the four elements. In my years, I almost completed it. 

"Can I see the rest of it?" he asked. 

"You mean you wanted to see me nude?" I asked. He chuckled on my bluntness. Of course it is hilarious. My marks are at my back and spine and I only got a towel around me. 

"No, just the marks..." 

 Should I show him my marks that I said to be tattoos? It might make him more curious about me. I know that he didn't believe that I was another person... that I wasn't Adhiti. But my game is on, I have to be Catastrophe. Because I am Catastrophe and that wouldn't change. 

"Maybe not." He said when I didn't say anything. "I will leave now." He walks out the door closing it gently. 

 I let out a sigh and hold on my towel tight. After I had put my pajamas on, I walk towards the study table. Adhiti's laptop is sitting there. They had kept her things clean and on the right place. I sit on the swivel chair and open her laptop. I watch a few slides show of the people that she is with and most of them are her pictures with Nicholas Gregory. I still remember the password.

"Time to move on, Nick." I murmur. 

My phone rang. I pick it beside the laptop to see Jake's name on it. He's a guy who is always around me, helping me on everything. He's kind-a hot guy and one of the popular because he's a football player. We just dated few weeks where I am always cold to him because he's sometimes a bully and most of all, a douche bag. 

"Yes?" I asked coldly answering his call.

"C, where are you? I had been calling you for ages and you are not even answering my calls and text. Are you alright? Mr. Canfield left the town and everyone are worried about you. Your house is a wreck!"

"I am in my new school. Why are you still calling and texting me?" I asked him bluntly. 

"Because, I missed you. Why didn't you even say a single thing about leaving? You know how much I am in love with you." yeah, he's in love with me since my first time in their University. He said that, but he's jerking around, making out at every sluts. 

 He loved girls that are making out at each other. Then he wanted me to make out with a girl or two. It is just gross because they might have STI or STD. I don't want to be like them. He had tried to get into my panty but, I punch him in one shot, then he's asleep. Good right? 

"Well, how much are you in love with me?" 

"Infinite... please, come back to the town. Or you can tell me on where your school and I can visit you there." He's importunate. 

"Move on from your life, Jake. I am not coming back to that school of yours. Besides, we aren't together and you can't force me to do what you wanted." Before I hang up my cell phone shut down. Just great. 

 Early in the morning, I woke up from the noisy alarm clock on the side table. I reach it with my hand and when I got it I threw it to the wall and it breaks. I pull the duvet over my head and continue sleeping. 

"Do you know what time is it?" a manly voice speaks. I wanted to answer him; I don't give a shit. But I just can't. "Catastrophe, you have to get up and be ready for breakfast. I will lead you there." 

 I sat up like a zombie and looked around me and end up looking at this delicious man standing next to the half open door. He is wearing a blue long sleeve shirt with two buttons open on top. His hair is messy but he looks gorgeous on it. 

"Good morning, Catastrophe." He smiles formally. I rubbed my eyes and slipped off from bed. 

"Morning has never been good." I murmur and walk towards the bathroom. 

 I jump into a hot shower with a pleasurable sigh. Water never failed to give me a soothing feeling weather it is cold or warm. After shower, I dry my golden blond hair that has blue, green, red highlights everywhere. The color that never fades is at the inside back of my hair. It is nature color blue like water, sometimes it becomes green. 

 After drying my hair with the hairdryer, I put my uniform on. A white, long sleeve blouse, red neck-tie, black blazer and black and red plate's skirt with a badge of the school sign which is M and has flowers and twines design around the M. I put a light powder on my face and little lipstick. Then I got out wearing slippers and went to the couch-bed on the edge of the four poster bed. I put my boots on. He is still leaning on the wall probably waiting for me. 

"You don't need to keep waiting for me." I told him. 

"You are my apprentice and I should roam you around. There are rules here that you should know." He gesture at the door and I got out first and he followed me. 

 We walk on the corridor and the girls stalk a gaze on us. Perhaps they are gazing at the gorgeous man with me. He explained to me about girl's dormitory. Then there's a kitchen full of foods but the meal is served on the dining hall. So, we directly went to the dining hall. 

"Good morning Mr. Gregory." The girls greet him. He smiles and nods at them. They chuckled and whispered at each other something, about him as hunk and still young. 

 Then, there is a girl who stopped in front of us gaping as she saw me. Of course I know her. She's one of Adhiti best friends. Eliza Marine. 

"Adhiti..." she murmurs. I was taken aback when she hugged me tight. "You came back..." 

"Eliza..." Nick calls her. 

"I am not Adhiti." I say bluntly and she stopped and pushed herself from me. "Who are you?" I asked her. 

"I—It's me, Eliza." She looked suddenly sad. 

"Eliza, please meet my new apprentice, Catastrophe. Catastrophe, her name is Eliza Marine. Adhiti's best friend." Nick said formally. I extend my hand to her for a hand shake. 

"Nice to meet you, Eliza." She looks down on my hand for a moment and when she was about to hold mine someone called me so I had put down my hand and turn to see the running Marissa wearing a fabulous pink shoes. 

"Hi!" she waved and scooped my arm. "She will be our new best friend." She told Eliza with playful smile and had those wonderful wide eyes. 

 I looked at Eliza who forced a smile and nod. She faced Nick and implies something behind us. So, that's another issue. I feel like they get attached to each other after the death or missing in action of Adhiti. I look at Marissa at my side and she makes twinkling eyes on me. Yeah, she can be annoying because of her childlike attitude. 

"I will take her from here." she told him. 

"Perhaps I can both join you in breakfast?" Nicholas asked nicely with friendly smile. 

"Of course you can." Eliza answered. Act like a robot, Catastrophe, that's what you are now. Even that you are in front of Adhiti's friends, you gotta act like a f-cking robot. 

 So in the breakfast, I eat silently while Marissa almost does the talking and Nick will just answer and then Eliza will agree. It seemed to be an awkward between the two. They will ask me a few questions and I will answer it monotonously with a lie if I have to lie. They are digging on my background and my background should be invisible as a ghost or spirits. George had covered it up all. I am a little confident to do my act. 

 I can feel a few people around watching us secretly and will look away immediately before anyone of us can catch them. Nick had left us alone after he had received a text from someone. I was left alone with Eliza and Marissa.

"Are you sure that you are not Adhiti?" Eliza asked frankly. I looked at her straight in the eyes.

"Are you still doubting that I was her?" I asked her. "How much do I look like her?" 

"Very much alike." She answered reading my emotions. 

 I wanted to go back to my room instead of joining Marissa around. Everyone is in what they call study building while this building is a dormitory. On the other side are for males and on this side where I am striding is for the females. Everything is made of archaic... rock walls. Every post of the walls has torch. 

 I stopped from walking straight in front where there are corners at my sides. I looked at my right to see a girl in a uniform. I can see two figure and a tall man is leaning on the wall. The girl sound flirty and I know that voice. I stepped two backwards and two sidewards to right. 

"It's not her, Nick."

"It's her." he insisted. The girl groaned complaining on him.

"Are you going to breakup with me because she's back? Nick, Adhiti is dead! She's not Adhiti, look into her eyes."

"I don't care, Liza!" ohh, he sounds frustrated.

"Nick, I love you and you are mine. Adhiti is gone and accept that she won't ever come back." She sound so desperate. Oh, so much of oh... I heard his heavy sighed.

"I don't know how to work with this, Eliza... I thought that you can make me forget about her..." I heard clasping sound and kissy noises and moaning. When I peek, I saw her pinned on the wall and her legs are spread wrapped around his waist. 

Traitors...

It started when Catastrophe led to a mysterious castle after she partially escape from the people who wanted to kill her. Everyone thought that she was Adhiti, the girl who was missing for years without any trace. But she has Adhiti's opposite attitude on every way, how could she be Adhiti where her only face are alike? 
But Nicholas is very much certain that she was his Adhiti, the love of his life. How would he show her that he still love Adhiti?

During class, Ya Nuo was fighting the slumber devil from stirring her brain juice and the temptation of drifting off to dreamland. After a day of classes, Ya Nuo felt like her brain malfunctioned from how far behind she was in her studies. Huan Hei took pictures of the notes from classmates and made two copies of each assignment handout that they missed.

After making copies, he walked back to their classroom and saw Ya Nuo's textbook wide open standing on her desk with her head hiding behind it. He smiled and walked closer, "As expected..." 

He bent forward and whispered, "The teacher is here." In a split second, her eyelids flipped wide open and she focused her attention on the chalk board. She then noticed the empty classroom and lifted her eyebrows while turning her head in Hei's direction with a 'really?' expression. 

He rubbed her head dotingly, "let's go home."
Ya Nuo nodded and packed her schoolbag before sloppily lean against Hei on their way home. 

In the middle of a street that leads to an alleyway, Ya Nuo paused at her steps and closed her eyes. Huan Hei didn't get to ask her what was wrong because the moment he opened his mouth, it was covered by her hand. She shook her head with her eyes still closed while concentrating on her senses. Every few seconds, her ears would move slightly as if she could hear something coming their way.

After a minute passed, she opened her eyes and whispered, "Someone is being chased and is running in our direction. There are two people after that person."

Huan Hei replied, "Your innate senses are beyond phenomenal. You only need to use your ears to know what's going on. But what does a person getting chased by two people has to do with us? Should we hide?"

Ya Nuo smirked, "We know that person. I recognize the person's scent. We don't need to hide. Just stay in the same position and watch first." She pulled him aside, and they waited for their guest to show up.

Soon, Mei Ching appeared and behind her was two buff men with tattoos all over their arms. The two men were wearing tank tops, revealing their horrendous muscular body and violent killer tattoos. Even though Huan Hei and Ya Nuo have been practicing martial arts since young, they might not have enough strength to beat the two men if they tried.

Ya Nuo quickly thought of an idea, "Hei, let's help her. I have an idea."

Mei Ching turned the corner into an alleyway, facing a dead end. The two men were right behind her. Her ghastly pale complexion and skinny figure made her look like an easy prey to kill. Her body trembled vigorously. Her mouth was wide opened as if she was mouthing "Please. No!" Her palms were waving at the men. Finally, she clapped her hands together, bowed and begged them to let her off. 

One of two men had his fist ready to strike her hard on the skull, but halted when he heard footsteps from behind. Both of them turned around and suffered a massive blow on their heads from the couple's sneak attack. 

Actually, when they turned their heads, only Huan Hei was behind them waving his wiggling fingers; gesturing goodbye. While they focused their seconds of attention on him, Ya Nuo was already on top of the wall and ready to attack. Her attack was perfect. Her fist knocked them to tears since she targeted their acupuncture point.

While the two men hugged their heads and rolled on the floor, Ya Nuo took the muddy dirt that she collected from the floor and scrubbed it all over their faces, especially their eyes. This way they will not recognize her and Huan Hei's faces.

Huan Hei stomped his foot on the man to the left when the man struggled to get up from the floor,"Who said you could move?"

Ya Nuo knelt down and asked in a demanding attitude, "Who sent you guys to hurt her?"

One of them spat saliva towards where the source of her voice was coming from and said, "What makes you think that we would give out a name?"

Ya Nuo smirked, "Of course you wouldn't easily give out your boss' name. I only gave you two a chance to confess before I get to my torturing methods to interrogate you guys. I'll do a countdown from three to one. If I don't get a reply by then, you'll be suffering very badly." Her voice sounded steady and lack of hesitance. 

Mainly because their vision was blurred by the dirt, she had less to be afraid of. She acted cooly and freely while circling around them. Without their sense of sight, any sounds around them would cause them high anxiety and alertness. Ya Nuo was playing with them psychologically by creating random footstep and objects falling noises.

After circling them a few times, she did the countdown and took out a box from her bag. Before she fed one of them an oval shaped product from the box, she purposely shook the box right next to their ears.

"If you want to torture us then just make a move. What's with the lame noises huh? I dare you! Dare you try something!" The man grinned confidently as if he was mocking her for playing small tricks on them. 'I won't fall for your sly tricks this easily! I'm not scared!'

Gulp.

The arrogant chatty man annoyed Ya Nuo, so she chose him to be the guinea pig. "What did you feed me?" He asked lowering his voice.

Ya Nuo laughed, "Nothing. It's just some herb medicine that makes people feel extreme pain in the lower abdomen area. I have the antidote, but if you want it, you'll have to pay for it."

At first, the man who ate the pill thought she was just bluffing, and everything was a lie. After a few minutes, his stomach started hurting to the point where tears trailed down his face and sweat made his nipples transparent through his thin tank top. 

His partner turned pale after hearing his partners painful groans from the pill's effect. It only took a few more threats for the partner to surrender and give them the name, "Gu Wing." 

"Very well. Here's the antidote. A few trips to the bathroom and it'll be cleansed from your system." Ya Nuo gave the suffering man another pill and allowed them to leave.

After they had left, Huan Hei was extremely curious on what Ya Nuo fed that man, so he asked, "Nuo, what did you feed him? Why did he feel so much pain? Laxative? The guy was holding onto his stomach and clenching his thighs together when he was carried away by his partner."

"Expired dark chocolate that is super bitter. I bought it a while ago, but forgot about it. I didn't want to waste food, so I gave him them," she spoke casually as if she had planned this all out. 'Actually, I had one earlier and ended up with a massive stomach ache. How could I possibly not share it with these awful bastards who treat human life as nothing?'

"Hahahha, that poor man must be looking for the bathroom now."

"He deserved it. Most importantly, are you hurt? Mei Ching." Ya Nuo's eyes met the fragile woman's fearful eyes.

Mei Ching shook her head, but the horrifying experience left her traumatized as she thought about what would have happened if Ya Nuo and Huan Hei didn't come right on time. 

Judging from Mei Ching's reaction, Ya Nuo decided to not beat around the bushed like last time and must confirm her identity today. She asked, "What is your relationship to Gu Wing? And why is she coming after you?"

The warmth of the sunlight that was shining through the window landed on the girl's flawless face. Her eyelashes fluttered rapidly as her hands clenched onto her blanket tightly. She chanted, "No! No! Don't.. please.. I beg you stop! Ahh!!" She gasped for breath as she wiped the layer of cold sweat off her forehead. She looked at her phone and laid in bed after realizing that she was in her apartment. 'I'm safe.. it's alright.. safe..' After calming down, she took a quick shower and looked into the mirror. "Yang Ya Nuo! you got this! New day, new beginning!" She got dressed in a male school uniform and applied her makeup and wig. Within the next 15 minutes, her beautiful jade like face transformed into a handsome young man's face. "Aha! That should do it! Handsome like always. Breakfast time~" 
Since young, Ya Nuo learned how to change her voice to sound like a male's voice in case she needed it one day. Unlike girls at her age who liked to hang out with friends and go shopping, she only loves one thing, food! She works three part time jobs and is attending a famous school on a scholarship that covers full tuition. 
She cheerfully walked to the kitchen to see what's there to make for breakfast. When she opened the fridge, she saw nothing, but a piece of sausage inside. Sigh.. "I paid for rent and ran out of money to restock for grocery."
Ding Dong
"Who is it?" she said in a grumpy tone.
"Yo!" Xu Huan Hei greeted her with a hand wave.
"Is it time already? There's still half an hour before the usual time you come to get me for school." 
"Nope! But I do have something I want to discuss with you." he smiled dazzlingly. He was the school's second most popular guy that every female wished to date. The number one ranked male student was Ya Nuo. These two met each other at a young age, but due to some reason Huan Hei never found out about her female gender. 
"I'm hungry. Let's talk food first."
"Here~ i already prepared a bag of groceries and two bacon, egg, and sausage for you" he winked.
Ya Nuo smirked, "Oh? Seems like it's something important hmm? Alright, let me enjoy my breakfast as we discuss your 'favor.'"
In the middle of enjoying her bacon, egg, and sausage, she suddenly spit out the mouthful of food onto Huan Hei. 
"will you be my girlfriend?" he asked confidently.
"Are you crazy?? I'm a guy! 100% male!"
"But you are so pretty, even girls say you have feminine features. I'm sure with a little makeup you'll look very cute!"
"... what's your reason?"
"A girl keeps pestering me and chasing after me to get into a relationship with her. I told her for the past two years that I'm not interested in any relationships, but she refused to listen. I accidentally slipped out and said I actually have a girlfriend... so she asked to meet her.. and I didn't have anyone that is trustworthy enough for this job."
"No."
"Pretty please"
"No!"
"Come on~ I'll buy you lunch~"
"I'm not that cheap."
"Fine, 3 months worth of lunch and groceries!"
"Deal."
In the meantime, at a luxurious restaurant, a man with gray hair sipped his wine, "Did you guys find her yet?"
"No.. sir"
"Then why are you here? Go! Find her and bring her here! Don't come back and report bullshit to me!"
"Yes!"

3rd Person P.O.V
It was a nice afternoon. The Arcobaleno were lounging in the living room, either talking to each other or doing their own things, which they mostly do with the exception of Skull, Fon, and Yuni.

Although, Skull hasn't been talking around these past few days, and the others were slightly worried as this isn't the Skull they knew. So, with a direct approach, Fon and Reborn decided to ask (in Reborn's words: demand) on what has happened to him in this last few days.

"Skull/Lackey" Reborn and Fon both simultaneously said. They looked at each other, stared for a couple of seconds, then put their full attention on Skull, whose face contorted to curiosity and confusion as they haven't continued on what they were saying.

"Why aren't you like yourself these past few days. We- I've been getting worried about you." Fon decided to talk first. It was clear in his sentence that they have been worrying about him, but decided to change it into him as he didn't know what the others were thinking. Of course, Skull noticed the slip in this sentence, but decided to ignore it as he quite believed that they considered him like a family.

"Oh. That's what you have been worrying? Haha, don't worry too much. It's just that I've been comfortable with living with you guys in these past few years that I didn't feel like the need to make myself more noticeable than others. Granted, there were bad experiences with you guys, but nothing happened worse than that in my life so far." Skull laughed as he said his piece while calmly explained on why he hasn't been talking.

"Oh? So, what had happened in your life that has been worse than your treatment in these past few years?" Reborn questioned, as his eyes narrowed on Skull's body. Shoulders slumped, but ready for action, which was unusual for the lackey as he has always been laid back.

"Damn, shouldn't have said that." Skull murmured to himself, which the martial artist and hitman heard due to their heightened hearing.

"Oh? Why is that?" Fon asked curiously and serenely as he stared at Skull.

"You don't need to know that, haha" Skull said with fake happiness. Reborn was going to demand, when suddenly, the room had been surprisingly suffocating due to the amount killing intent that they didn't know where it come from. Reborn and Fon were slightly affected, but nonetheless stayed calm as they tried to find where the killing intent was coming from. The others were affected greatly, but not so much that they can be paralyzed by the fear.

Looking around the room, trying to pinpoint where the killing intent was coming from, ready to pounce at the person. After searching the room, they turned to Skull, his head was ducked,  eyes were covered with his amethyst purple bangs, with his mouth in a straight line. Underneath the bangs were his eyes that like smoldering magma, with amethyst purple seeping in and little flecks of other colors were mixed in.

"Like I said, you don't need to know. That part of my life is dead to me. Understand?"Skull said with killing intent seeping in his voice, which turned deep. He raised his head to look at the men who was in front of him. Reborn and Fon has seen his eyes. A smoldering amethyst purple with a thin ring of topaz orange, and flecks of sapphire blue, azurite indigo, ruby red, emerald green, and citrine yellow. His pupils were a onyx black, which were slits like that of a feline. Although they didn't notice it as the amethyst purple was mesmerizing to notice anything but that color.

Fon was visibly nodding serenely when internally he was slightly surprised as to how Skull had killing intent. Reborn tipped down his his fedora in agreement. Underneath the tipped fedora which was covering his eyes, the shock was prominent within his eyes along with the emotion that someone couldn't quite decipher.

"Good. I'm going to my room okay? I think I need to rest" Skull said enthusiastically as he waved a goodbye to the others. Good thing Yuni isn't in there.

"The fuck was that, kora?!" Colonello was the first one to voice out his thoughts, which were the same exact ones, albeit with slightly less vulgar language. The others nodded and looked at the duo for answers.

"I don't know. That was the first time I have seen Skull like that" Fon serenely and firmly stated, with seriousness seeping in his voice. Reborn wisely decided to not comment on it as he was thinking to himself.

Reborn had just realized that he didn't know the basics of Skull like age, religion, hobbies, likes, dislikes, etc. He realized how much Skull hadn't shared with them even though they have been together throughout the years.

Skull P.O.V
That was a close one. I thought they hadn't notice that slip of mine. I need to be careful these oncoming days to not let my mouth spout my past.

Walking towards my room, I went inside it and locked the door. My room was different shades of purple like iris, amethyst, lilac, periwinkle, and more. Although the amethyst purple was more prominent. On the left side of the room when you walked in, I had a bed with black covers and the wood was dark oak. Beside it was a beside table. Some little trinkets was placed orderly on it as my obsessed organizing self can't tolerate unorganized things. On the other side was a table with bookshelves that made with dark oak wood.

On the shelves were some books like Harry Potter series, Shadowhunter series, Black Bird of the Gallows, and some more that I couldn't be bothered to name. Though it was mostly filled with files. Files about every mafia famiglia. Although the Vongola was hard to hack, I managed to get the basics of it. I had a secret compartment everywhere in this room. Behind books that were fake, under my pillows, under my table, etc. On my desk was a laptop that Verde had created? Maybe invented was the right word. It was suitable as the firewalls are nearly impossible bypass.

There were some papers that was neatly stacked beside my laptop that needed to be stored. Eh, maybe later after I shower, refreshed and clean. Two more furniture was in my bedroom. Albeit very hidden, the furniture was still there, It was just built within the wall. Grabbing the remote which was in the drawer of my bedside table, I pointed it on the floor and lo and behold, a secret safe that stored important files. Which was information about myself and some very meaningful and important trinkets.

Opening the safe was a very complicated and difficult process. First lock you need to get through was a voice recognition with a very specific message. When that was done, you need to get through a second one which was a face recognition. Next was a very complicated lock with numbers, then a very specific word, then a password which was very long. A combination of big and small letters, numbers, and symbols. And most importantly, you can't hack this safe to open it. Cause I programmed, coded, and created it.

Clicking the button of the remote control, the safe withdrew and was hidden from anything. Putting the remote control back in the drawer, I knocked a complicated code on the floor next to the door, and a hidden closet showed up. It was made from dark oak. The closet usually held my more normal clothing than of the leather suit. Of course, there are some copies of the leather suit expertly stashed beneath the bed as it was disposable.

Going through my closet, I picked a plain raven black sweater with some midnight black ripped jeans to pair with it. I also went to grab some undergarments. Closing the double doors, the dark oak closet silently withdrew down into the ground. I walked to the bathroom door and opened it. I went inside and locked the door. The bathroom was nothing out of the ordinary.

The wall was covered with lavender purple tiles that was decorated with periwinkle purple floral designs. The floor was white marble. The ceiling was a ink black that was decorated with stars, constellations, and planets. When you first walk in, you would see the toilet first and a rack of towels which varied in colors, but mostly they were jet black, with iris purple in the second. 

When you look at the right side, you will see a counter which it's top was black marble with gold lines, with a sink and a mirror. The drawers were a onyx black that was outlined with byzantium purple. Inside were some toiletries like extra toothpastes, toothbrushes, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and other things.

On the counter was really organized. There was makeup on it. Foundation, concealer, makeup wipes, lip gloss, lip balm, eyeshadow palettes and others were neatly organized in a small rectangle basket which was a chestnut brown. In another basket held toners, face mask packs, creams, and others. Makeup basket was on the left side while the other was on the right side.

Laying down my outfit on the counter, I grabbed some makeup wipes and a remover. I opened the cap of the makeup remover and poured it onto the makeup wipes. After making sure that the makeup wipes wasn't dripping from overabundant makeup remover, I wiped it on my neck to remove the makeup.

After seeing my neck that was cleaned and can see my tattoos, I rolled my leather suit's sleeve and proceeded to wipe it. Once I could see my tattoos, I opened the trash bin which was on the left side of me, and threw the used makeup wipes. I removed my hazelnut brown contact lens, which revealed a steel grey color with flecks of white and black. I placed my contact lens in their respective places and closed it.

I walked to the rack of towels then proceeded to get an iris purple towel. I walked right past the counter and went to the shower. There was actually a bathtub on the left side of the shower, which was in the corner of the right side of the room. Hanging my towel on the rack, I proceeded to strip off my leather suit and my undergarments, which left me nude. I went to the shower and opened the shower head. Turning the temperature just right, I hopped in and was under the running water, which made my tense muscles relax slightly. The temporary amethyst purple hair dye washed away from my hair and down into drain, which revealed my snow white hair.

After showering, I grabbed the towel and wrapped it on my waist securely. There were still droplets of water dripping from my show white hair and body, but I didn't acknowledge it. I went to the towel rack and picked a jet black towel and proceeded to dry my hair. Once my hair was slightly dry, I left the jet black towel on my neck and went to the counter. I put on my undergarments before removing the towel that was wrapped on my waist. I used the iris purple towel to dry off other parts of my body.

After drying, I put on my raven black sweater and midnight black ripped jeans. Holding the iris purple and jet black towel, I went to the towel rack and hung it to let it dry. After checking the bathroom to see if there were anything out of place, I went outside and walked to my bedside table. I opened the drawer and grabbed a case that was for eyeglasses. Opening it, there was a gold rimmed eyeglasses. It was a transition glasses, meaning that under UV rays, the glasses will turn into sunglasses and when it was not under UV rays, it will be clear.

Putting it on, I felt my eyesight was slightly more clear. I walked to my desk and stored the neatly stacked paper in their respective files. Sitting down on a royal purple chair, I opened my laptop after typing in a long password. On my desktop was some folders. In those folders were documentations of mafia famiglias that was experimenting on children, prostituting, or just generally breaking the laws of Omerta. There was new documentations everyday as he had assigned the Carcassa Famiglia to spy on them and give him documentation. Luckily, they knew how to be secretive and discrete, as I had taught them.

"Just thinking about them makes me feel proud, as they have come a long way to be what they are now." I feel my mouth curl at the thought. Opening the file of a famiglia, I proceeded to click on the new documentation that has appeared.

As the video played, I saw that this was a documentation about the experimentation on children. I made my blood cold as I watched the children's faces contort in unbearable pain. I closed my eyes and rubbed them under my glasses. Why did I do this again? Oh yeah, so that I can help the people who were once innocent escape from this world. Although I know that this world would haunt them for the rest of their lives.

Pausing the video, I closed my laptop and sat down on my bed. I then laid down on my pillows, and just let my mind wander. Imagining things, creating new possibilities, and such. I hadn't notice that I had already fell asleep.

Unsure of when she fell asleep, when she awoke, it was already morning. She was lying on the big bed in the bedroom 
 
Amiley rubbed her eyes and sat up. The hand she rubbed her eyes with was smeared with eyeliner, fake eyelashes, and glitter eyeshadow.
 
Every girl wants to look beautiful and would know that sleeping with makeup on damages the skin. But for these past 2 years, she never dared to remove her makeup even before going to bed.

Conversely, now that she knew that her disguise wasn't working, she felt a little freer.
 
She could finally be herself again...
 
 she had never met anyone without her disguise. She had almost forgotten how she looked like without it.
 
Firstly, would be the big, bloody, horrific tattoos on her body.
 
Fortunately, she was afraid of pain so she didn't listen to lily's advice to get permanent tattoos--the ones on her body could be washed off with soap.
 
Amiley searched high and low and finally found the soap in a box filled with various other things. She brought the detergent, makeup remover, cotton pads and a pack of facial masks that Xavier had given her previously in the bathroom.
 
She first removed the numerous ear studs and heavy gold earrings, then the dog chain around her neck. Next, she removed her make up. Finally, she poured the soap into the bathtub and soaked her entire body in it..

With the help of the soap, the tattoos on her body started to slowly dissolve away.
 
Amiley soaked herself in the warm water, placed a facial mask over her face and shut her eyes for a bit.
 
When she opened them again, the water in the bathtub had turned black and muddy.
 
As for her body...
 
Without the masking effect of the tattoos, her body revealed its original state.
 
The kind of temporary tattoos she had gotten hadn't damaged her skin. Other than the red crescent-shaped birthmark, her entire body was flawless, just like a piece of jade. Moist and delicate. It was also like snow under the moonlight, white and clear. and rosy

Before being reborn, she even went to get a permanent tattoo on impulse. This tattoo stuck with her for 7 whole years. So for these 7 years, she had no clue how her body looked like underneath.
 
Now that she had seen its original state, even she herself was shocked at how good her skin was.
 
In addition, she was currently only in her twenties , the age where a girl's complexion is at its best.

Mk X are the juggernauts of the Mk race and are nearly immortal as their entire body acts as there brain and there regeneration is insanely fast but like the rest of the Mk race, they have a major weakness. The Mk X has a small core which is the reason for the insane regeneration. if you scratch that core it slows the regeneration down the more damage it takes the slower it regenerates. The core itself will regenerate itself if it has nothing else to regenerate so constantly keep it damaged if you damage the core. Now onto its weapons and armour. The Mk X has a Lance, Sword, Tower shield, Gate shield and lastly a large energy cannon. Tho the last weapon is seldom used if it is used the cores regeneration will be thirded so use that to your advantage. The armour of the Mk X is a full set of Heavy armour with special latches designed into it to hold the shields and a clasp for the lance. Where these latches and clasp are can be customized to your preference when building your Mk X.

The Finals will be starting in one hour with 150 people in the finals ready for whatever is to come. if its a free for all more eliminations or monster challenge.

looking around almost everyone is checking up on there artificial bodies to make sure they are in tip-top condition for the fights to come as being first grants you 1 wish from god as long as its not out of his or his subordinates abilities and isn't ridiculous and second and third can get a wish if they lose to first place is close. With that promise, the Finalist became fired up wanting to make it to the top 3 or number one's place. but even not the top 3 the rewards for the top 25 were also pretty great as the rewards after 25 were not as good as the ones above and degraded quickly to your in the top 150, here's some money but still at least you get something. 

After waiting 30 minutes what we were gonna be doing for the finals was announced. It was going to be free for all but in a mixed environment, there are going to be five different environments. Forest, Jungle, Desert, Snow covered and volcanic. It was going to happen in a pocket dimension which will end up being broadcasted to all those watching. The pocket dimension is packed with animals, demon beasts and monsters captured and prepared for this event even after this event they will live in the pocket dimension. The reason they were added was to provide food for us as it is believed this can take a few days or a week maybe even longer. We are also allowed to prepare a little but will be checked before entering to make sure it doesn't surpass a certain threshold and a certain amount of food. (AN. I have decided to change the definition of monsters and demon beasts as I believe this fits better. Monsters can use magic and soul type resources some will be shown in the following chapters while demon beasts can use Qi and Body related resources and some will be shown in the following chapters. Also, there are always exceptions to this like humans as humans are classified as demon beasts tho their affinity with magic is very low. Elves who are classified as monsters and as such their affinity with the body based resources are poor. It comes down to any Very high intelligent race. Also, Goblins can use both but have a way higher affinity with ritual and engineering based resources. There are always exceptions in every race like in everything there's an oddball thrown in there.)

We were given 6 hours to prepare as they had a merchant break and had the Monster building event. It was interesting as I witnessed the birth of several people from the alchemy races and even a few new alchemy races were born. The person that won was one of the creators of a new alchemy race. It was a combination of several domestic animals and a Razor boar. The end product was named the Razor War bound or RW-B(AN. Bo from boar und from hound.). What surprised me was all the hearts used as per common you can only get 2-4 hearts in before it dies. But I'm gonna guess it was his concoction that he spread over it that allowed it to accept more. He used the heart of War, Loyalty, Care, The Hunter, The Warrior, The Beast and The Pack. But the biggest surprise was that all the hearts were made by him. God and the announcer were so impressed by him from the seems of it that they accepted his wish without a moment's hesitation. His wish was for them to approve an alchemy race study and creation guild and then he was made guild leader which caused him to smile and groan at the same time. I'm guessing he's not looking forward to the responsibility that is required with the job. 

"Since everyone has been checked and is ready to go. We shall officially start. Just head through the portal."


After a few seconds a giant red swirling portal opened showing a small Island packed with five different environments and many animals, Monsters and demon beasts as in the portal there are some open fields with giant monsters noticeable from this far out view not very clearly but still noticeably. (AN. Before I forget animals are the everyday animals just pre-evolution into monster or demon beast. They still can lvl up and use skills but most likely won't happen as they ain't smart enough and so will continue there normal life until they evolve and gain the knowledge to use the skills. Also, Demon beasts and monsters don't usually hunt animals just leave them alone.)

"Ok, it seems that you all are planning on giving some people a big headstart."

At her words, some other people bolt into the portal causing a chain reaction and before I knew it I was running at full speed towards the portal and right into a tree. 

Groaning as I Lift my self. Groaning was echoing throughout the forest from many different locations around me. Stretching, my now in pain body. I start moving to find a place I can set up a base camp for my time here. As I move I begin examining where I am. Trees were reaching into the sky as if they wanted to lift themselves from the ground and fly among the birds. But like the chains on a criminal, giant vines the size of a man some even larger fell from the tops of the trees digging there way into the rich mahogany soil to stop the tree's from flying away. All the while smaller vines interlinked the trees together as if the trees were holding onto one another as if they were afraid of losing a friend to the sky but also unwilling to let them leave them behind. While looking around it like this place it felt like it would pull you in to become one with the forest if you ever tried to leave. 

Taking a deep breath I rebegin the hunt for a suitable shelter to set up camp as it seemed I stopped as I was admiring the forest. (AN. Jungle. He's never seen a rain forest so to him it's just a large forest.)  

As I moved through the forest I came across several small animals and even a few Gang apes swing and leaping through the trees they spotted me and started to gather until I froze one of the apes solid with a Slime shell. At first, they were pissed and got very loud but after seeing I didn't show fear they left taking my lunch and their Icicle friend with them. I would rather not crack into my rations as I don't know how long I will be here and would rather save them until I have to use them but I might have to crack into it today as I don't know what lives here and what's editable for plants. As I am moving through the forest I hear the crackling of a fire. Either whoever is lighting the fire has no care for who is to come or just isn't thinking this through. It could be trying to burn this place down. WAIT it could be trying to burn the forest down. 

"Fuck..." Do I go and check out the fire or do I book it away from the forest? Taking a second to look around there was dense foliage all around me tho it looked rather alive and wet while also the dead had moss and mushrooms growing on it. This was a forest and all he needed was to dry up the wood around him and this place will light up like a matchbook. I could probably stop it but what if I can't then I'm doomed if I don't get lucky and somehow survive.

After a few more moments of contemplation. I have decided to run as my chance of survival is much higher this way than trying my luck trying to stop an unknown pyromaniac of unknown strength. 

Unknown to Rust Bucket there were about 6 others in the area that made the same decision making a run for it. But unknown to them there was a magma elemental trying it best to not burn the plants around it as it sat cross legged concentrating on the jungle around it trying to meld with the nature around it and unknown to this elemental it's real body was going through changes with the clone at a slow rate. 

After running for about 30-40 mins in a nearly straight line I slowed down and eventually came to a stop looking back hoping to see if I was right or not.  Just I couldn't see farther than 5 feet behind me without running into a tree, vine or an overgrown bush. So I switched from trying to see to try to hear any crackling or panic in the animals. After listening for a good 5 mins I heard no such thing only the pleased and pleasant sounds of the animals as they traversed through the jungle. 

Hmm, seems like someone stopped him or he was never trying too to begin with. Whatever the case is I have to find shelter in the next few hours and hopefully something to eat too. Because I don't find shelter in a few hours then I will have to build one for the night and crack into my rations.

After another 30 mins of searching, I found some large beasts burrow that was empty or what you would call empty for a beast burrow there were the regular things you could look for in a beast burrow Corpses of various animals, monster and demon beasts. A corner full of whatever the beast finds valuable or shiny and lastly the bathroom. turning to the far corner there was a hole that you could almost see the smell emitting from it's. I'm quite curious about how the smell ain't spreading throughput the entire room making it uninhabitable, but I ain't checking that shit out in fear of what would happen to my nose if I got too close and smelt that. 

As I was looking around the burrow planning how to surprise attack the owner of the burrow when it gets back or the best way but I spent too long I guess planning as an hour and a half into my plan rustling came from the entrance of the burrow. quickly choosing plan D which was hide and think of something. I dove into a pile of random bones quickly moving into a position that covers me completely except one of my eyes which was left uncovered so I could watch what would be entering. After a few more seconds a large brownish orange fury behind entered the den, Slowly making the rest of its body known making its general race to be known as a cat but not much else as I wasn't able to inspect it. The Demon beast stretched as it lowers its head and rebit into the carcass it was carrying earlier continuing to drag it right until it was right in front of me before starting to ripping the monster apart in one of the most savage ways of eating I have ever seen. As the cat was eating I was attempting to move my arm without making a ruckus, but it was proving nearly impossible as my hand would bump into large bones that wouldn't nice and quietly move to the side. If that demon beast wasn't eating like it hasn't eaten in a decade I wouldn't even dare to move as just the bone rustling is quite noisy. Quickly giving up on attempts to move my arm so I have a shot I shrink my body deeper into the pile of bones as fast as I could without breaking anything until my field of vision is almost completely gone and all I can see is the ceiling through my peephole. Readying up my arm I close my eyes drifting off into sleep.

Opening my eyes in a hurry I see a giant fury maw with the bones of its lunch in its mouth over my peephole then it opened its mouth and the bones rolled out. As the bone landed on the pile I felt like someone just punched me in the stomach winding me. Those bones had to weight just over 150 pounds alone so just how much did the full thing weight. This will change my plans a little. It seems I won't be able to flash freeze its limbs to hold it long enough so I will just have to aim to slow it down so I can seal the entrance. I do have a sludge core that can do but I will have to wait for it to leave before I can take the time to set it up. After confirming my plan I go back to sleep, waiting for the morning to come for it to leave once again to hunt for its next meal.

Time passed and it was soon morning. The beast stretched then stared at the entrance before getting up at a very sluggish rate as it walked in a circle in the den for a few hours more before some Buffon stumbled his way into the den surprising me that he made it into the finals.

"HHAHAHAHHAHA, a cat, an easy victory."

Quickly moving in the pile of bones till I got a view of the intruder. It was an Orc shaman covered in ritual tattoos and a large staff with a Kobold skull adorning the top of the staff. 

The orc started to wave the staff while it ran forward and the tattoos glowing seeming to come alive like the flame from a pit as they danced on his skin become more vivid the longer they moved. The cat stared dazed at the intruder for a second before lunging forward mouth wide open jaw dripping saliva as its eyes started to glow as it stared at the tattoos. The orc seeing the attack incoming gained a smile as he raised his fist in a fluid a quick upwards motion landing square in the middle of its jaw and continuing right through as if it touched air as his fist completed its course up his face became a found as he ended up flying towards the wall near me just like a bullet fired from a Dwarven blunder bust, no destination but power to behold.

Shifting in the bones to get a good look at the orc his tattoos were shining in almost pitch black light drawing in all the light around him enshrouding him in a veil of ever growing darkness. The beast wouldn't let the orc finish without opposition as it once again lunged forward, but unlike the first time, I noticed a blur split off from the beast and go for the side of the Orc. as the orcs fist passed through the skull one more time the orc opened up its fist and turned right as fast as it could grabbing at the blur. After a second in the blur, the orc yanked his fist out, pulling the large beast along with it crashing into the wall the orc was previously embedded into. After hitting the wall the beast started to try and get away from the orc but the orc's grip wasn't lessening as he squeezed his hand nearly crushing the tale he was holding onto. You could tell the beast was in a lot of pain as its face was scrunched up and constantly whimpering as it tried to create some distance but would barely budge as its tail was firmly in the grasp of the orc, but the orc wasn't having an easy time either as it grasped firmly with his left the tail while with his right his hand was gripping the staff with almost equal force. As this tug of war continued on I was surprised at the strength of the beast's tail and of how neither gave up on their singular quest one of getting free and out of there while the other refused to let go. After a bit more of the tug of war the beast stopped showing as much fear it stopped pulling as hard and even started to snarl at the orc while keeping a strong enough pull on its tail to not be pulled in. 

Seeing this the orc released the tale with also a kick sent at the beast sending it to the wall with the bonus of its run it crashed into the wall but just as quickly as it crashed into the wall it got up turning around bolting it towards the orc with anger and Hatred burning in its eyes with even a hint of humiliation and shame. But this action only caused his grin to transform into a smile.

The orc raised his staff and moved it in his hand to how you would hold a Javelin even taking a very quick moment to readjust the balance in his hand right up until the beast was only a few feet away from him before he threw the staff. The few moments between the time the staff flew towards the beast the skull which was leading the charge of the staff eyes seemed to start to have a wisp of life as a small black flame sparked in the sockets of the skull then the mouth began to start to clatter before crashing into the beast completely penetrating it, bursting into a ball of bitch black flame which sounded like the crackles of a crazy man ripping his victims apart.

After watching the flame for a few moments the orc walked forwards grabbing the staff ripping it out of the corpse, opening the jaw to the skull and grabbing a Beat red gem before walking away.

As he reached the entrance of the den he looked over to me almost staring into my eye's 

"Pfft, Coward just like the rest."

As he leaves those words behind the entire den burst into black crackling fire as it seemed to devour the entire room in moments before turning its attention towards my bone pile.  Getting up in a hurry I run towards the entrance as I get to the entrance while quickly patting of the parts of my body that catch fire but almost to no avail as the stuff sticks to me like glue I may have to disregard these parts and make do with some makeshifts before it spreads. As I reach the entrance of the den a boot meets my chest.

"Coward's will die a coward's death."

Hello, for it is I a semi-intelligent potato and here to write a story at the whim of a moment. So here it is.
Even tho English may be my first language I'm not that great with punctuation and person to person talking as I am not good around other people face to face.
I also have a tendency to talk in the third person so tell me if you catch me writing in third person ill fix it. This is also my first time writing a story and you probably will be able to tell so if you have any feedback I am all ears.

              I had never felt so many emotions over a woman than I've felt with Sophia. And I haven't even been with her for a whole day. The thing that bothers me most is when I see how men fall all over her. Seeing the store clerk and the men in line fawn over her was irritating. But when the gunmen focused on her, I hit the roof. Who knows what the men would have done to her if I hadn't taken them down. Then I see detective Colin Vane comforting her, and my stomach turns. It's just too much. Men are like moths to Sophia's flame. And as someone who is fighting his feelings for her, it's very difficult to resist smashing all of their faces in.

              Pulling into my apartment building's underground parking, I park in my spot and turn off the ignition. Sophia is fast asleep under the warmth of the blanket. I wanted to rip the card out of her hand when the detective mentioned that he gave her his number. Reaching out a hand, I run my thumb over her soft cheek and whisper gently. "We're here, Sophia." Sophia slowly opens her eyes and gives me a drowsy smile. "Micah." She whispers with a kittenish mewl, which makes my stomach tighten with desire.

              "Can you make it out of the car, or do you need help?" I ask with worry. She shakes her head and opens the door. Sliding out of my own seat, I meet her near the hood of the car and catch her when legs wobble a little. She reminds me of a child who has been woken from a nap. Taking her hand in mine, I lead her to the elevator doors and press the penthouse button.

I live in a large building in the center of Manhattan. I bought the suite a few years after I joined the Confradia. It's a beautiful apartment with two bedrooms and three bathrooms. The apartment has a large living area with ivory marble floors, wall to wall windows comfortable the living room furniture. My mother decorated a few years ago when she saw that my furniture consisted of a futon and a ninety-inch television. She made the apartment comfortable with its contemporary design, charcoal-colored cloth couch, and wrought iron tables. The dining room is a simple glass dining set with side chairs.

              A large glass wall separates the living area from the state of the art kitchen, and the kitchen cabinets are a gleaming obsidian color, gray marble countertops, and stainless steel appliances. There are several modern tapestries on the wall with sketches of human forms and few black leather chaise lounges facing the windows.

              Sophia steps in the center of the room and rests the blanket and my suit jacket on a nearby chair. I observe warily as she moves around the room, absorbing its decor. "Nice place." She says with a sincere smile. I'm surprised that she's not terrified or crying at what happened earlier. I've seen soldiers react the same after during a gunfight. They'll push the memory to the back of their minds and pretend it didn't happen. I guess it's a way to cope. Going along with it, I observe her looking around curiously.

              I'm surprised when she turns to the large, customized entertainment center in front of the large couch, and hones in on the pictures resting on the shelves. There are three pictures on the shelf. There was one of my father and me when I was a boy. That picture was taken the last time I saw my father. I was ten years old, and my father was heading overseas on a mission with his Marine unit. In the picture, my father is wearing his crisp, pressed uniform, with all of his medals, and I'm standing next to him wearing ripped jeans, a Snoopy t-shirt, and a Yankees baseball cap. The other picture was of my mother and me when I graduated from the Marine Corps. Like my father in the previous picture, I'm wearing a pressed uniform. The last picture is of my mother, Tate, Sophia, and me at my mother's wedding. I will never admit this out loud, but the only reason I put the picture up is that Sophia is in it, and I wanted something with her in it to look at.

              Sophia looks at all of the pictures attentively then turns back to me. "Is that your father?" She asks, taking the picture from the shelf and turning it towards me. Nodding my head, I stop next to her and take the picture from her hand. "Yeah. This was taken before he died." She nods her head and looks at the picture again. "He was very handsome. You look like him." I look at the picture for a moment and run my gaze over every angle of my father's face. I remember as a little boy staring at this picture for hours after my father died. Looking at it now, I can see the resemblance. My mother has always told me that I look like him minus the eyes. I have my mother's green eyes. My father had dark chocolate brown eyes.

              "How did he die?" Sophia asks with a note of caution. I look back at her to see that she's sincere in her question and place the picture back on the shelf. "He was on his second tour in Desert Storm. His unit was driving through a town when an IED hit his convoy. I was told that he died instantly." My mouth tightens with emotion. Even after all these years, it hurts to talk about it.

              Sophia must see my pain because she places her hand on my neck and turns my chin in her direction. "I'm sorry, Micah. I know what it's like to lose someone you love. At least yours did not leave you out of choice. My mother walked out on us." She mutters with a quiver in her voice. Her eyes gleam as she gazes down at the floor in contemplation. "I was so mad at her for leaving us. For a long time, I thought she left us because I was a bad daughter." She says this with a sad glint in her eyes. It's almost heartbreaking to see the pain reflected on her face.  

              Taking a deep breath, she utters softly. "But then I realized that it was her loss. And that dad and I were better off without her. Dad found Chelsea now. And your mom is really great."      

              Nodding my head, I take her hand and lead her to the guest bedroom. "Let me show you to your room." She doesn't argue as she follows me down the hallway. There are several doors here. One is for the guest room, the one across from it is my office, and the one in the center is my bedroom. Unlike other Confradia Assassins, I don't keep my weapons in a separate room. All of my weapons are in a secret compartment behind my headboard, which is secured by an encrypted security system. That was the only room I didn't let my mother decorate. I bought the furniture and installed the software myself. My mother definitely had a hand in decorating the guest room, though. The room is a bright blue color, with a large king-size bed, a white headboard, and a teal and gray comforter.

              Sophia steps into the room and moves towards the bed with a catlike grace, which makes my temperature heighten. I watch intently as she takes a seat on the bed and throws herself back with her arms stretched over her head. "Oh, this is so good." She says with a soft groan. Her dress strains against the mounds of her firm breasts and rises high over her thighs as she shifts comfortably over the bedspread.

              "Are you hungry?" I ask, trying to get my mind off how badly I want to crawl over her and kiss every part of her body.

              She rises from her stretch and shakes her head. "Not really. I just want a hot bath and some sleep right now." I nod in agreement and gesture to the én-suite doors. "The bathroom is right over there. There are toiletries and other bath things inside the linen closet." She nods her head and gestures to the bedroom door. "I should get my bags then."

              I shake my head as I make my way to the door. "Just go ahead and take a bath. I'll get the bags." Sophia waves a hand up with gratitude. "Thanks, Micah." Stepping out of the room, I head back to the elevators and walk to my car. Two minutes later, I'm back in my apartment with Sophia's satchel in one hand and her pink rolling bag in the other. My first mistake is that I didn't knock when I went into the room. I simply walked in, laid her bags on the bed, and nearly choked when I caught sight of her image from the bathroom mirror as she was stepping out of her dress. I couldn't help but stop and enjoy the view of her silken body, luscious breasts, and firm ass as she leaned down to turn on the water faucet. And I nearly swallowed my tongue when her hair spread down over her smooth back and slid sensuously over the stiff nubs of her nipples.

              Lust turns to empathy when she takes a seat on the edge of the tub and begins to sob. She looks lost and alone, and it makes me feel like hurting something. She was pretty brave earlier, whether she'd like to think so or not. Normal people don't usually have to deal with a gunfight in a gas station. And unless you've been in battle, having a gun aimed at your head or watching someone die can be very traumatizing. Unable to bear her pain any longer, I step into the bathroom and kneel before her. "Shh… it's okay, Soph." She sniffles a bit and straightens her spine with embarrassment. But her bravery is short-lived because she's suddenly sitting in my lap with her arms wrapped around my neck. My hand runs up and down her silky-smooth back, enjoying the feel of her skin and the comfort I am giving her.

 Keeping her sitting on my lap, I roll up my sleeves and reach over her shoulder to pour some bath salts into the rising bathwater. Sophia's tears subside, but she doesn't let me go. I know I should step out of the room and leave her alone, but it feels so good to hold her close. So Instead, I lift her into my arms, slide her into the rising water, and kneel down on the edge of the tub. She looks lost as she gazes at me from under her wet lashes. Her lips tremble slightly, and her chin quivers. "I thought that I was okay, and then I saw the water pouring… and…and it reminded me of all that blood." She says with a slight croak. She lifts her knees to her chest and rests her forehead on her knees with a bleak slump. Lifting her hair off her back, I push it to one side of her shoulder and lay a soft kiss on her temple. "It's okay to feel this way, Sophia. It means that you're a compassionate person. You should have never had to see something like that. You'll be okay, though. You're a very strong woman." Taking the sponge from the soap dish, I fill it up with soap and run it down her bareback. She sighs with relief and closes her eyes as I soap up her arms and legs.

              After a moment, she sits back and gazes into my eyes before she takes the sponge from me and slides her hand over my tattooed forearm. "You have tattoos?" She asks with fascination. Nodding my head, I slide my hand from under hers and lower the sleeves. It's not that I'm embarrassed by them. I'm just not ready to reveal the intimate nature of them.

              Sophia's eyes dim at my gesture, but she doesn't comment. Instead, she takes the sponge and whispers. "I'll finish bathing myself." I remain kneeling down with my elbows on the edge of the tub for another moment. I want to apologize, but I know that there is no point because there is no explanation that I can give her that wouldn't be too revealing.

              With a clenched jaw, I give her one last longing look and rise from the floor. "Your bags are on the bed, and my bedroom is the one with the red double doors in case there's anything you need," I say before I walk away. I need a drink!

B is a very dark Seer. Her powers consumed her and she was banished. Cass was her best and only friend. When B started getting darker Cass was the only one who noticed and cared. B was the oldest Seer by two years, Cass looked up to her and when she had been banished both of them had been in a lot of pain. They were in pain because their zodiac tattoos glowed when they were together. Their tattoos were made to show their feelings for other people. When they hated someone their tattoos would appear to being dripping black ink. When they were happy with someone the tattoos glowed. 

The tattoos also had a hidden feature that they didn't know about, the tattoos told them who their soulmates were. The tattoos would turn blood red when you met your soulmate and they would cause you a lot of pain when your soulmate was taken away from you. 


It's blue now. Must be depressed. 

Cass wasn't depressed, but she was hurting. Her left arm ached and it was hard to breathe. She had experienced this for two years after B left. 

She's close...great.

B was already in the city. She was closer than Cass thought. 

Goddamn I hate her. 

She didn't. She couldn't.

A Sequel to WAM. The Wigs are back in the city, but this time their leader is with them. Nobody knows what she wants except Cass. 

Cass survived the Wig capture and has been trying to forget about their leader,(her best friend), B. When she gets a vision that the Wigs are coming groups of Warrior are sent to a Seer for intense training. 

The war will be a long and hard one filled with psychological warfare, murder, and a bit of romance. Can the Warriors actually defeat the Wigs this time or will they die trying this time?
