"Don't worry, Boss, I promise to complete the mission!" Qu Changlin patted his chest and promised. He did not mind even if his boss was not there personally to see it, and he gave his promise first.
"I like your attitude, Changlin. That's why you are one of our Haunted House's best employees. That is why I've assigned you an important location like the bathroom. I hope you won't disappointment me."
"As long as he enters this scenario, I guarantee you that he will walk in but crawl out."
"The man is attention-detailed and very dangerous. I will disconnect my communication with you later to prevent your location from being exposed, but I will follow your movement through the cameras."
"Boss, I will not disappoint you." After Qu Changlin gave another promise, he was reminded of something. He lowered his voice to ask, "Boss, the closest scenario to mine is the Pen Spirit. Did something happen to Xiao Die?"

When Chen Ge first read the diary, he easily came up with a solution. If the worker was hiding inside the fourth cubicle, he would stand inside the third cubicle and observe the situation inside the fourth cubicle before making a decision. But once he walked into the bathroom at the end of the corridor, Chen Ge changed his mind. The smell of disinfectant there was really too heavy.
There had to be a reason that the bathroom had been arranged like that. Could it be to hide something? To use the smell of the disinfectant to hide the smell of something else…
"What kind of thing is both scary and smelly?" Chen Ge tried to come up with an answer as he walked into the bathroom. There were many cracks on the floor, and many creepy sentences were written unevenly on the wall. Occasionally, lizards crawled along the walls and ceiling, causing a rustling sound.
There was no window, and an old table lamp that gave off a red light was placed in the corner. Underneath the lamp was a small black box.
"What's this?"
Normally, such things would not be found inside a toilet. Chen Ge walked past the first cubicle and stopped next to the lamp. He reached out to open the little black box, and inside it was a note that read—Do you like our prank?
Underneath the note was a group picture. A bunch of children were looking at the camera nervously, and only the kid at the most edge was grinning like crazy. On the back of the picture, Chen Ge found another sentence—It was just a prank, bro.
"A prank, is it?" The diary gave little clues. Chen Ge did not know what theme of this scenario was. He picked up the strange box and placed it inside his backpack—he had a feeling that he would have a use for it later.
Chen Ge's action was being silently observed by a pair of eyes in the dark. The person could not understand the reasoning behind it. Inside the bathroom that was stinking and set up like a crime scene, why would anyone stuff a random object inside one's bag?
Holding the backpack with one arm, Chen Ge examined the table lamp again. He switched it on and off several times and left after ensuring that there was nothing wrong with it.
"The bathroom comprises of the sink and six cubicles. There are no other items in here, and there is nothing obviously wrong with the lamp. So, the person should still be hiding inside the cubicle." Chen Ge had experienced something similar at Mu Yang High School before. He did not feel fear, but his heart was surfeited by this feeling of déjà vu.
He opened the door of the first cubicle. It was thick with the smell of disinfectant. Chen Ge pinched his nose and examined the cubicle patiently.
He found complaints written on the walls of the cubicle.
"He made my clothes wet again today. I hate Xiao Lin!"
"Xiao Lin pulled the chair back when I tried to sit down, and it caused me to fall to the ground."
"Xiao Lin planted a frog inside my drawer! I'm going to puke!"
They were as mentioned earlier, pranks, but all of them mentioned Xiao Lin. The boy seemed to be the class prankster, and many classmates had fallen victim.
"There doesn't seem to be anything truly scary." Chen Ge scanned the words. The messages inside the cubicle appeared so innocent compared to the messages left at the Third Sick Hall.
He opened the door of the second cubicle. There were still many complaints, but unlike the ones inside the first cubicle, the children appeared to be more angered, and a small portion of them bordered on dangerous.
Then, Chen Ge opened the door of the third cubicle. Some of the messages had come up with a prank to revenge on Xiao Lin. They came up with this horror story about the fourth cubicle inside the toilet and 'accidentally' revealed it to Xiao Lin. Then everyone came up with various ideas to set up the bathroom, trying to get Xiao Lin back once and for all.
Through the snippets of messages on the wall, Chen Ge had a grasp of the whole situation. The messages alone would not be too scary, but combined with the third entry of the diary, it did sound quite spooky.
"Did Xiao Lin manage to leave the fourth cubicle in the end?" Chen Ge stopped before the fourth cubicle. This cubicle had been specially mentioned in the diary, so the scariest thing should be inside there. Perhaps when he opened the door, the students' prank would happen, or perhaps when the door opened, Xiao Lin would return.
However, none of that happened. When Chen Ge opened the door of the fourth cubicle, and to his surprise, there was a mirror placed inside the cubicle.
"These kids are quite creative." Chen Ge looked at the mirror stuck behind the toilet. The more he studied it, the more he realized that something was wrong. His reflection was not shown in the mirror. "Interesting, they have pasted a picture on the surface of the mirror?"
Chen Ge reached out to touch the mirror. When his fingertip was about to touch the surface, he suddenly heard a soft voice coming from above him, and then the back of his neck felt itchy. He lowered his head to study the mirror—there was nothing on the surface. The itch on the back of his neck grew more pronounced like a bug had fallen and was crawling there.


The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

But suddenly she froze as two hands suddenly picked her up and flew away with her. Taskmaster rose his eyebrows as groups of females were trying to escape through the window with her.
He turned his eyes and saw Lord Cassian shaking his head. ''Let them have some fun. Isaa, Lilly, you two go as well. Fluffy, you stay with the child. From now on it's your duty isn't it?''
He turned his head and saw even lady Xara floating up and smiled brightly. ''Honey, I will handle things here, you all have some fun!''
Lady Xara turned around and smiled at him while sending small kisses. ''Good. I will reward you later for this.'' And left.
Lord Cassians face suddenly had a huge smile while his two sons started rolling their eyes. ''Father! You can't kidnap the mother again for the whole month. Who will take care of fief?''
He rose his eyebrows and looked coldly at them. ''You two. Who else? Mother and I taught you so many things so we could travel around and have some fun. Or do you want us to work until eternity? When you two get children then you can just do the same, put aside responsibility and just enjoy life. Until then, shut up and rule. After those two brats leave I will go to the Golden Grove with your mother. She deserves some peace.'' His voice was cold but when talking about his wife and his daughters, his eyes softened and a huge smile appeared on his lips.
The two young men just rolled their eyes. ''Father, we need to grow our powers. We can't rule the whole time!''
He chuckled. ''It's two of you. Just exchange positions. Fist one rule then one cultivates and then other rule and so on. It is fine. We will visit you from time to time as well.''
Taskmaster heard their conversation and sighed. Even tho Lord Cassian seemed to be a bit cold to his sons but his voice was filled with pride, love and trust. He let them rule this place as he trusted them on their wise decisions. The way he showed love and care to everyone he loved...no wonder Kendra set the measure high on anyone who shows her love.
If that person is not even near her adoptive father he will lose greatly.
While thinking deeply he suddenly felt a pair of cold eyes staring at him. The twins again...
''My father said you might be interested in our aunt Kendra. Are you one of those disgusting men that like young children? Aunt Kendra usually annihilates those creatures. I wonder why she didn't kill you yet. How interesting... I think our mother will be a bigger problem then Kendra herself. The mother adores Kendra. And if you have some strange ideas about her... The mother likes to go often to punishment island. She might drag you there to play with your soul.'' Then they turned around and left Taskmaster completely speechless.
''Don't take it to your heart. They met Kendra now for the first time and were disappointed as she has no time for them. Not only that, they fear you will take her away. I am Tsssio. Father of those two imps. Literally, imps.'' He pointed at the two backs of the children and Taskmaster saw two small tails whirling around.
With surprise, he turned around and looked at him. ''You are from demon clan?'' 
Tassio shook his head. ''Not me. I am from the dragon clan. Their mother is a demon. But she really adores everyone here. Lais is one of the demons that contact willingly humans and other races. There will be always some that do not wish to mix. But it is fine. There is no perfect society. Tell me, how much did Kendra tell you about this world?''
Taskmaster shook his head. ''She just brought me and told me she wants to show me one more secret. But how did she do this? What name is of this world and what rank this world actually has?''
Tassio chuckled. ''Too many questions... Your curiosity has been set and that is what she wanted to do. Good. She probably didn't tell you anything as she wanted to show you this world herself. Never mind. Just to tell you one thing. Nothing is as it seems but still possible.''
His strange puzzling words made Taskmaster looked at him in confusion. Tassio just patted his shoulder and left with a huge smile. ''She is still naughty. taking his power away so he could feel human needs. But if he eats something wouldn't other needs be triggered as well? Kendra Kendra...''
As taskmaster lost his powers he couldn't hear low muttering from Tassio. But Lord Cassian did. Oh, she took his powers away? Heeeheheh indeed my child. With smug expression, he stared at Taskmaster that had no idea what was going on and just went to the nearest table that was filled with food.
As he stuffed his belly he forgot that humans might have nee to eat, but where the food goes...
Just while later he sat down and hed his stomach. It felt like some sort of energy was running through his insides and making him have huge pain. Tassio rolled his eyes and tapped him on the shoulder. ''Come with me. You ate too much.''
As they went inside huge bathroom Taskmaster realized what he was hinting at and remembered that time... ''I understand. Please excuse me.''
Tassio nodded seriously and pointed at the corner. ''There is soft toilet paper that Kendra invented. Use it. Afterward please wash your hands. Or if Kendra finds any kind of grime on you, she might throw you into the nearest river or ocean.''
The Taskmaster started laughing. ''Yes, she will.'' And closed the door. After finishing everything and coming out of the bathroom Tassio waited for him.
''You have been assigned a room on the top floor. As you are human it would take too much time to walk up. So use one of the clouds.'' A small cloud appeared from the wall and floated in front of him.
''This...'' He was surprised and turned his head. The whole wall was filled with clouds. ''This... is it possible?''
Tassio just smiled and floated up. ''Why not...'' was the words he whispered and as they came to Taskmaster he realized something new...

"Okay, let's go. I'm already tired as well. We will have dinner at home, right?" Li Shi Ying agreed almost instantly. The girl nestled inside Long Ao Zhen's arm as she admired her ring. If she got a media social right now she would take a picture of the ring and post it online. 
She just can't contain her happiness! 
"Mn. Dinner at home, cooked by Jiu Wei. Let's go, use the talisman. I'm sure that you are already tired. Let's talk about the wedding ceremony later, okay?" Long Ao Zhen rubbed Li Shi Ying's forehead affectionately before he asked for the talisman.

The man then took out the earth miniature and placed it there. Since the miniature itself had anti-gravity force, it immediately floated around a few centimetres from the surface of the cabinet. 
The room was currently dark with only the moonlight coming through the balcony as the source of the light. It made the earth miniature gleamed beautifully, looking like a lamp. 
"Mn. I'll take a bath first." Li Shi Ying lazily got up from the bed. The girl then took off the scarf, the jacket and the knitted hat before throwing it to the bed just like what she always did in her original world. 
Li Shi Ying immediately called Baihu Sei and with her guidance, headed to the bathroom while Long Ao Zhen was busy contacting his servant to prepare a room for the miniature collections.
The man had just finished talking and was about to talk to Li Shi Ying when he realized that she wasn't there anymore. 
"Ying'er is at the bathroom?" Long Ao Zhen mumbled to himself while searching around the huge room. The man found no one yet could hear faint water splashing sound not far from the bed area. 
There's a huge bathroom behind the bed area separated with a wall and since the source of noise comes from the bathroom, Li Shi Ying would surely be there.
Hmmm...should he goes check on her and join her bathing?

As I read that statement for the third time, only two words settled in response to it: Bull Crap. Normally I would gently set down a book but this time, this specific literature requires a special toss into the garbage bin. If a mental state is all that it took to accomplish exiting the "status" of poverty, would it not have already been eradicated?

 After the priceless book found its way into a corner of my room, I glanced at my rented apartment in hopes that I could have woken up from a dream or even better, I was now wealthy enough to move from the small space that was encompassed by four walls. 

I could see the futon that lay in my living room which was three steps away from the kitchen which was a couple of steps from the bathroom. The walls were so thin that I could hear the animals in the alleyway clearly. My neighbours, which seemed more like noisy roommates, were trying to whisper to one another so that no one else heard them. The problem was that whispering did not really lower my abilty to hear them. Surprisingly though, the chatter from the different floors of the building and outside were doing a better job at canceling out the noise. 

"Aaagg!" I attempted to stretch my agitation away to no avail. I was neither sore nor bored. I was just tired of the many attempts to increase my net worth. Currently, I own nothing and my bank statement will show that I owe them money. With my best guess, I persume my net worth is possibly in the negative.

My parents passed away when I was about 11 years old and I have been living on my own for 9 years now. Being the only child and not having an inheritance was not part of the positive list either. I did not complete any schooling and sold my last piece of furniture to pay for the next two months of rent. I have exactly enough to feed myself for 3 weeks. Which was actually better than most days. 

If there was a silver lining, it was that I lived alone and did not need to share the space with anyone else. Though a robber would find it easier to get through the wall than the door, this small space is where I called home. It was safe but always felt temporary. 

I am now at the height of the entrepreneurial curve that comes on average fours times a year. I did not have to worry about the necessities and could solely focus on making money to push the date of my inevitable end a bit forward. 
 
"How should I make money this time?" I thought as I pulled out a piece of paper. This paper was more valuable than anything I possessed combined. It represented the pleasant times before the death of my parents. My father would leave early in the morning not knowing what he would bring back at the end of the day. He would stop by, have lunch with us, hand my mother some cash and leave with the same energy he had in the morning. 

My father would always baffle me since I have never seen him sick, ill or even tired before he came home late at night. Everyday, I would find a boundless energy surging through him that put an endless smile on my mother's face. But as I got older, those memories kept feeling stranger and more unreal. Throughout the years, I got tired, sick, injured and even unconscious.

If my father was a human being, did that mean that I did not gain his wondrous genes. I guess it is just another inheritance that was not mine. 

This piece of paper had the many ideas I would right down during my free time. They were the creative ways to make money and help my parents when the time came. I had even shown it to them during lunch and my fondest memory is their reaction: 

"One of those ideas will make you a man amongst men." My mother loveingly said as she passed the paper to my father. He smiled then continued to add, "Hold it close. We look forward to celebrating your success together." 

Without realising it, tears were running down my cheek. My parents did not flatter me unjustly and spoke the truth in a way that aroused my passion for success. My dreams, that were approved of, were on this paper. 

Struggling from the life of a poor man, our lead needs to find out how to make money and sustain his dream life style.

Matt was spooning me in place. He held me close to confirm the first of the many mornings we'd be like this. His body felt so warm against me, his chest hard against my back. I could feel his warm breath in my neck and I held on to his arm, feeling safe. 

He was still asleep beside me, the constant rise and fall of his chest an indication that he was at peace.

"Good morning." I laughed, unable to contain myself. "You are not supposed to be here at this time."

He laughed with me, turning to his back and gripping his nose bridge between his thumb and forefinger. "I know. I was supposed to sneak out at dawn."

It was past 7 in the morning. Students would be lining up in the hallways soon to get to practice and summer classes. And they would notice him when he left my room still in his BRATs jersey. 
"Breakfast?" He pulled me to him and tucked my head under his chin. 

A part of me wanted to scram out of the room and work. I had wasted a couple of days already and hadn't worked on the photo wall Geo needed to be scouted. But for the most part, I wanted to stay in bed with Matt. 

"Mmmm-hmmm." I nodded, but my eyes were begging to close and my mind wanted some more rest. I knew if I gave in, I would doze off for a good couple of hours more and miss a lot of ruckus in the playing fields – something that Geo didn't deserve. So I pushed myself off the bed and Matt groaned, doing the same.

Putting on his pants, he turned to me. It was the first time I'd actually see his body and at 20, he had one that would turn the eyes even of women in their thirties. 

I had my towel wrapped around my chest, but I still felt too naked for his eyes. I crossed my arms on my shoulders and he laughed. I didn't really have a perfect body, though I exercised on my free time. Some cardio here and there never gave anyone the fittest, leanest and most toned bod, but it was enough for me. Although, I had curves in the right places and a slightly bigger size of breasts to match. I was soft all over, too, which was something not a lot of jocks looked for.  

"I think that won't be necessary from here on," he said as he kissed my forehead. He went straight to the bathroom.

I nodded and felt my cheeks warm up to the sound of his voice as he hummed inside. It reminded me of last night. His quiet moans as I moved with him. His groans as he drew nearer to his release. I remembered everything. Even the short sharp pain of his first thrust – proof of the years that went by without the pleasure of another experience after Scott.

"You okay?" he asked as he began putting his shoes on. 

I nodded again, sitting on my study chair quietly. 

He looked at his phone and seeing a certain message, he groaned. He looked at his watch and walked over to give my forehead another kiss. "I can't treat you to breakfast right now. They guys are looking for me. I'll see you tonight?" 

"Yes, please," I said, though I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it to an early dinner. 

I had a plan for the photo wall and if Geo would pull it off, I'd be busy from here on until tomorrow night. 

He put on his jersey and left, just as immediately as he came in the night before. 
And once again, the room was quiet.  

I couldn't tell whether that was the reason my chest began to tighten all of a sudden or the fact that Matt didn't even stay long enough to have breakfast with me. And we just spent the night having sex and holding each other. 

What were lovers supposed to do in the morning, anyway? Take showers together like the couples on TV? Have breakfast in their bathrobes and have coffee? Then again, this wasn't the movies, and like Matt, I didn't have that much time to spare. So I guessed he was off the hook this time. No matter the heavy feeling that still besieged me after my shower.

Shaking the thoughts out of my head, I fired up my laptop and reviewed all the photos I already had. I needed to take more pictures of him. That was what Ms. Rivera said the photo wall needed: more pictures of Geo so he'd be scouted. 

I used up an hour just re-mapping photo ideas. I used some of the ideas Matt fed me through the interview I videotaped of him last night. He said some great things, especially about his brother. Reviewing his words now, I wondered if Geo knew how much his brother loved him. 

With this on hand now, everything should be a breeze, and finally, I had found a nice, firm direction for what I wanted to present. It could tell a story far different from the one I actually first mapped out, but something a bit more inspiring. 

I called on Geo and asked if we could require all teams to have team photos with their mascots, and he agreed to help. I smiled, knowing I was on my way to accomplishing something really remarkable for both the school and for Geo. 

"Thank you," Geo said as soon as he met me for lunch at our favorite spot. 

My head was beginning to ache from the hangover and the lack of breakfast. He scolded me for not having eaten anything since I woke up, but I couldn't help it. I was dead on set to finish what I started. I only had a few days left since the opening. 

He brought with him some sandwiches from the coffee shop we loved and I felt so relieved he remembered what I ate and didn't. He got me a turkey sandwich with jalapeño and string cheese – my favorite – which I nibbled on immediately after taking it out of its paper box. 

"I knew you wouldn't leave me alone in this," Geo teased as he handed me my coffee. 

I nodded, swallowing a mouthful. "I'm doing this for your brother."

"I know, I know." He chuckled nervously, placing hand behind his neck. "Still. Thanks."

"So do we have the schedule ready?"

"Yeah." From his satchel, Geo retrieved a black notebook where he supposedly wrote what I asked him to. "We'll start at 3PM."

I nodded again, not knowing whether it's because of my lunch or the fact that I no longer need to gather the teams myself. But just as I was about to take the last bite, I heard Jazz's voice, echoing across World Park.  

"Zoey Penelope Anderson, you liar!"

Oh, no. I was totally busted.

After Ying Yue left the bathroom, Feng Yu stayed there depressed, scaring off females who actually needed to go to the bathroom. 

"Hey, you co-" suddenly the door slammed open from the outside and Zhang Wei came in brandishing a taser stick, "Feng Yu?" 

Zhang Wei quickly closed the door behind him before anyone else could see what was happening inside. 

"What are you doing here?" Feng Yu asked his friend as he came closer. 

"You're asking me? The person who is sitting on the floor in the female bathroom, hugging a pot plant and looking like some sketchy pervert just waiting to jump on an innocent lady?" 

Feng Yu just glared at him. 

Waving his hand around Zhang Wei quickly dismissed his earlier thought under the cold glare, "Ok maybe the pervert part is just my wild imagination, but it's really hard not to jump to conclusion when there's a grown man in a woman's bathroom. And what's with the pot plant?"

"... It's the last thing I saw Ying Yue touch" 

Zhang Wei was flabbergasted. "You're hugging the pot plant just because of that?" 

Feng Yu didn't answer. Once again drowning in his own thoughts.

"I came in because some girls went to security and reported a strange man within the bathroom. I came to check it out for the gossip, didn't think it would be you though. Just think of the headlines for tomorrow's news if it was someone else. 'Asia's Youngest Billionaire Camps in Ladies Bathroom'."

There was still no response from Feng Yu who was now sitting against the wall with the pot plant beside him. Zhang Wei threw up his hands exasperated. 

"Come on man, this was 5 years ago. Besides, the blame is yours to hold. You divorced her over a clearly photoshopped image" 

"I knew it was photoshopped" Feng Yu mumbled into his arm that was wrapped around his knees. 

"What? I didn't hear you"

Feng Yu raised his head, leaning his head against the wall. "I knew it was photoshopped before I divorced her". 

Now it was Zhang Wei's turn to be silent. . . then he exploded. 

"Then why? Why did you divorce her then? Why cause not only one heart to break but two?" 

"Because I saw it ok?" Feng Yu yelled back at him before calming back down. "The people at work always talk about her. Even though they keep silent when I was near, I heard. One day on when we were driving to a business meeting, I saw with another man on the street extremely intimate. The man I saw her with was the man in the photo. Despite the photo being photoshopped, it doesn't change the fact that she was with him". 

"So you divorced her" it wasn't a question, but a statement. 

"Yes" 

"You didn't let her explain" but before Feng Yu could say anything he cut in again "No, you let her explain. But you didn't listen". And there was nothing Feng Yu could have said to deny it. 

That day he thought he knew what she was already going to say, so he didn't listen. Looking at his friend, Zhang Wei knew Feng Yu understood. 

"In reality, you not listening was the problem. It's not a problem that can't be fixed, it's just you're not listening long enough to understand her" 

"What are you trying to say?" 

Zhang Wei sighed and reached his arm down for Feng Yu, pulling him up. Grabbing his friend's shoulder, he stared right into his eyes. 

"I'm telling you to apologise and tell her you love her before it's too late"

"It' already too late. She has moved on" Feng Yu mumbled back. 

Now Zhang Wei was stuck, having no idea as to how to encourage his friend further. He may have kept a smiling face on but inside he was thinking up of ideas like crazy. 

"So what if she moved on? That doesn't mean she has stopped loving you. In fact, if you apologise to her then among all the men who are chasing her, you have a greater chance of success" Zhang Wei stated excitedly. 

For the first time in five years, Feng Yu's eyes lit up in happiness. Zhang Wei watched his friend's expression and was relieved. Thank God, for the first time the nonsense he spouted was actually useful.

I think what hurts the most is when you give your all to someone. Through thick and thin, you're there for them. You stick with them no matter what. 

Then one day, they just give up. They won't even fight for you. The one thing you would never have done, they did with no hesitation. 

Walking across the room to the door, she raised her foot about to walk out. However, she paused and hesitated. Without turning her around she asked the question that has been on her mind since their separation.  

"Feng Yu, did you ever love me?"

Harvet took out the key card and swiped it into the slot next to the up and down button in the elevator. After a few seconds, the light turned from red to green, giving them authorization to enter the basement.

The door to the elevator opened and Harvet went ahead of Uteu to scout out the area.

He adjusted his hold on Judith, feeling a bit worried. Following how dangerous every encounter he's had so far, he's not sure what might happen to the little girl if he keeps her by his side during his search for Uti.

At the same time, he felt even more afraid of leaving the little girl alone in some unknown location while he was away.

He sighed and decided on taking her with him. At least together, they might be able to figure something out.

Harvet came back after a few minutes. He was glad to see her uninjured.

Harvet nodded her head towards Uteu, "Clear up to the Madame's room. It doesn't look like anyone is down here. No traps placed either." Uteu let out the breath that he was holding while she reported.

They walked together, without imminent danger hanging over his head, Uteu was able to look around and observe his surroundings. 

He immediately regretted it when he realized that all the decorations in this particular hallway were all based on Harkal. There were statue replicas and oil paintings. Some of them had him in barely any clothing at all.

Uteu gagged, he already hated this man and seeing him like this felt disgusting. He would need to get the full story from his father. Harkal was a very dangerous man, and Uteu wondered if he was exiled from the family to have ended up in the Guild. If so, what was it that he had done?

They quickly reached the end. Three doors and an opening met their eyes.

Peering into the cut opening in the wall, Uteu realized it was a kitchen and bar. It was fairly spacious.

"The middle door is the Madame's room. The other two are storage rooms." Harvet told him as he turned his attention back towards the doors.

He looked at Harvet and down at Judith. He was getting closer to Uti now. He really hoped there wouldn't be any more enemies to face against to get to her.

Harvet swiped the key card again and got a green light to enter the room.

Entering, Uteu felt it was like a deluxe hotel room. It had a small living room area with a large screen television set and around the corner lead to a wide bathroom. The king sized bed was covered in red sheets and fluffy white pillows. It was quite glaring to look at, seeing as how everything else was in earthy tones.

He set Judith down onto the couch and searched a bit more carefully around the living room area. Harvet searched around in the bathroom.

They searched for quite a while and couldn't quite seem to figure out where the hidden room, the one that Jude had mentioned, was at.

Uteu really wished that his thread to Uti hadn't snapped, finding her would be so much easier with it to guide him.

Judith woke up just as they sat down to go over ideas together. She blinked when she noticed her surroundings and then looked between Harvet and Uteu.

"Hey Judith." Uteu said as Judith crawled into his lap and hugged him.

"Grey eyes, why are we in Madame's room?"

Harvet and Uteu stared blankly at Judith.

"You recognize it?" Uteu found himself asking.

The little girl nodded.

"Master Harkal brought me here last night to meet another little girl. Are you going to bring me to see papa after?"

Uteu flinched at her question this was going to be difficult to explain.

"Judith." Uteu and Judith turned their heads to Harvet who was silent up to this point.

"Please tell Uteu here where you went to meet the little girl. Afterwards, I'll tell you what happened to your papa, alright?"

Judith stayed silent for a few seconds and nodded. Uteu looked back and forth between them. Would this really be alright?

Judith pointed at the bed and they shifted it. They noticed a slit in the carpet and pulled it back, revealing that there was a hidden trap door underneath. Twisting open the latch, they peered down at the ladder leading into darkness.

Harvet climbed down first followed by Uteu and then Judith. Uteu was afraid Judith would slip, but found that her grip was quite strong. He could only believe that it was a small chain reaction between his Links.

Now that Judith was awake, he felt a small bit of her ability leak through their connection. It seemed to amplify all abilities in their Chain.

Unfortunately it wasn't strong enough to reveal the silver chain at this moment. Uteu really had to wonder if there was something that was causing an interference.

They reached the bottom. A motion sensor sensed Harvet and the area lit up.

Looking around it really was a tunnel. It was rounded and had similar looks to a sewer, minus all the sewage.

Seeing that it was pretty much a straight path. Harvet and Uteu decided to run the full length. Harvet had Judith clinging to her shoulders. The strength from Harvet and the amplification from Judith gave the little girl enough strength to hold on without falling off.

They dashed forward, they would have to travel the entire length till they reached the teleportation array and didn't wish to waste anymore time.

The run was smooth and uninterrupted. They eventually reached a white hatch door attached to what looked like a giant white sphere of a room.

Harvet eased Judith off her back.

"Is this it?"

Judith nodded quietly.

"Master Harkal... told Judith that if I wasn't good, I'd be just like that little girl inside."

Uteu's stomach dropped at Judith's words. He quickly grabbed the handle and opened the hatch. Uti was just on the other side of this door!

Before he leaves the house, he pecked her lips out of the blue, she agape her mouth in surprise. He took his office bag, and said, "Bye~, see you in the evening."
As soon as Young-soo left the house she headed into the bathroom and washed her lips with some plain water. As she looked at her reflection on the bathroom mirror, tears automatically rolled down from her face. She questioned herself, 'why he's doing this to me he touches me against my wish whenever he was in a good or in a bad mood, don't he know that I hate him, what he is thinking of me? I'm not his doll for all his needs. God please save me from this monster.' She splashed some water vigorously on her face, and wiped off her face with the help of the bathroom towel. She marched towards her room, lay down flat on her stomach on the bed, and she felt so self-hatred and despair. 'I can endure if he asks me to do the household chores but I cannot tolerate if he touches me without my permission,' She muttered and advised herself to smack-off his face if he tries to touch her without her permission.
She ate the Ramyun noodles again as a meal for the lunch. Then she changed into a casual outfit, booked the taxi through the online to go to the nearest supermarket. Once the taxi has arrived in front of the house she took her handbag, locked the entrance door of the house, and got in the taxi. It took nearly twenty minutes to reach the supermarket; she paid the taxi fare, and got down from it. she walked into the supermarket with blank mind, usually her mother used to accompany her wherever she used to go out, but today it was her first time in her life to come for a shopping all by herself and that to for a grocery shopping, therefore she felt bit nervous and excited at the same time. She relaxed herself by taking few inhales and exhales, and advised herself, 'it's just a shopping there is no need to get nervous about it, you always wanted to go out for a shopping by yourself since from childhood isn't it? Come-on girl now enjoy this moment by shopping.'
She took one of the shopping carts pushed it with lots of excitement but her problem was she doesn't had any idea where to start from and what all the things needed to be shopped. She took out her smart phone from her handbag and browsed for grocery list ideas, once the requested result shown she began to shop first from vegetables then fruits, meats, dairy products, eggs, nuts & dry fruits, cutlery, spices, rice, oils, beverages, snacks, and toiletries. She paid the bill for the entire shopped items and headed straight-away to the house through the taxi.
Once she reached home she placed the shopping bags in the living room, and lay down on the sofa for a while. She felt so exhausted for the first time because of the shopping. She unpacked the things from the bags one by one and organized the items in its appropriate places. For dinner she decided to prepare rice with chicken stew and steaks fry, she google it how to prepare those dishes, along with how much quantity will be enough for two people, and also the required ingredients.
She followed the instruction carefully step by step which was written on the blog to prepare the dishes for the dinner. As she was busy at the kitchen the doorbell of the house rang, she ran near to the door and checked who it was on the door's peephole. As she saw Young-soo by the door she opened the door for him and rushed back to the kitchen to continue her work.
As soon as Young-soo entered the house he was welcomed by the aroma of the meat fry. He inhaled the aroma deeply by closing his eyes, as his legs wandered towards the kitchen, "wow, it's smells so good and it just increases my appetite," he commented, "I'll go freshen-up and come quickly."
He returned back to the kitchen in ten minutes, he crossed his arms and leaned his shoulder against the kitchen's doorway. He silently observed Eunbi; the way she prepares the dinner for them. He cleared his throat to draw her attention, "are you done, do you need my help?"
She turned her body to his side and looked at him, "I'm almost finished, would you mind go set the table for the dinner," she pointed out the cabinet, "the tableware's are in those liners of the cabinet."
He nodded his head, took out the two plates, bowls, chopsticks, and cutleries from the cabinet liners. He placed the tableware's on the dining table, as he starts to set the table there he saw his credit card was still lying on the table at the same place where he had placed it in the morning. He went to the bedroom took his smart phone and checked whether he has received any messages under the access of his debit card. As he saw he hasn't received any messages he was so displeased with her. "Eunbi, come here," he yelled out loud from the bedroom.
She turned off the gas burner stove, walked to his room by murmuring, 'now what happened? Why did he yell out my name as if a thunder fell right on top of his head?'
He showed his card to her and asked, "What is this?"
"You don't know what is it, it's your credit card," She replied in an annoyance.
"I knew that damn it, I gave it to you to use it for shopping, but why you didn't use it?"
"I forget to take it along with me for shopping," she said casually.
"Did you forget or left it on purpose?"
She knitted her brow in angry, "yes I left your credit card purposely because I dislike spending your money and also to live my life by depending you. Still now I couldn't understand that why did I agreed to marry you even though knowing about your intension."
Young-soo smirked and folded his arms of his chest, "don't you know that it's a waste of time to talk or think about the past."
"Yes, you are absolutely right, Young-soo. It is a waste of time to discuss about this matter with you, because our marriage is just like you it means absolutely nothing to me," she replied with exasperation, "anyways, I'm going to have the dinner if you would like to join with me you are welcomed."
Young-soo felt so hurt and angry at the same time with her impolite words. He took his remote car key and smart phone, marched out of the house, got into his car and drove off.
Eunbi ate the dinner alone, watched some television programs for a while, and went to bed. He returned back home at 1:45 am and rang the doorbell. She was startled awake by the doorbell of the house she got down from the bed, walked towards the entrance door. She could clearly hear his yells from the outside of the door.
 "Yeah! Open the damn door you arrogant woman." 
She opened the door, looked at him- his face looked so red and puffy, disheveled hair and his t-shirt was half tucked in.
"What took you so long to open the door, you lazy woman, do you know how long I have been ringing the door bell?" Eunbi covered her nose with her palm as soon as she smelled the strong odor of alcohol on his breath.
He stumbled as he entered the house, "Now why are you covering your nose, do I smell unpleasant?" 
Eunbi ignored his question shut the door and started to walk to her room. However, he grabbing her wrist and stopped her, "are you deaf or what I asked you do I smell unpleasant? I need your answer now?"
She shoved off his hand hardly with annoyance, "are you suffering with amnesia or what? I've already warned you for several times that to not touch me without my permission."
"I'm not suffering with amnesia I remember each and every words which you have said. I have full rights to touch you because I'm your husband." He said and in the next few seconds he firmly grasped her shoulders pushed her against the nearest wall leaned down his head, and asked, "Tell me, do I smell unpleasant?" 
The odor of the alcohol which came from his breath was too strong she felt nausea and felt like vomiting; she placed her hands on his chest, and pushed him away from her with all her energy. She ran to the bathroom by covering her mouth and vomited in the toilet bowl.
Young-soo was displeasure to see her vomiting in the toilet bowl. He massaged his head with disappointment, walked in to his room, and lay down flat on his back on the bed. 
That night Eunbi couldn't able to sleep. She wanted to move away from this traumatic life before it becomes even worse. She was so confused whether she should inform about this matter to her parents or wait patiently for some more days.
