--didalam kediaman Rostharia, telah terjadi kasus pembunuhan yang sama sekali belum pernah kubayangkan. Saat aku melihat ini, yang hanya ada dipikiranku hanya satu; "Apakah yang membunuh ini seorang manusia?"

Apapun itu, Siapapun itu, aku akan memecahkannya. Kenapa? Karena aku...

Itu ada.

The summer passed in a haze of work and two close calls when Aaron was in the area but before she knew it, Keeley stood in front of her dorm building with two suitcases and her father in tow. 

It was time for her to move in because school started the following day. They used her recently acquired student ID card to pick up the key downstairs before lugging her things up to the third floor. 

As a freshman, she would be living in a traditional style dorm with no kitchen and a communal bathroom. 

Her room consisted of two beds, two desks, two dressers, a mini fridge, and a microwave. It was long, skinny, and had a single window located between the two beds. 

She decided to claim the right side of the room and asked her dad to set down the box of school supplies and wall decorations that he was carrying to help her set up a little. 

"Where do you want this?" he asked, holding out a few sheets of flower wall decals. 

She looked up from where she was putting away clothes and squinted at them. 

"Oh, I'll deal with those later. I want to spread them out across my half of the room evenly. Could you start organizing school supplies on my desk? I have a little plastic storage box with drawers for them." 

"Sure thing, honeybun. Where's your backpack? Do you need any to go in there too?"

"The notebooks should already be in there but I have a little pencil case. If you could put a couple of pens, pencils, and an eraser in it I'd appreciate it!"

Keeley did not have nearly enough room in this dresser for all of her clothes, as suspected. It was a good thing she only brought seasonal items and could go home to swap things out in her bedroom in Brooklyn anytime she wanted. It would still be warm for another month or so before she had to break out the fall outfits. 

After unpacking nearly everything she decided to do the decorations herself and sent her dad off with a hug and kiss on the cheek, promising to come visit him the following Sunday and make dinner. He hugged her tightly and told her to call him after her first day to tell him how it went. 

Just like that, he was gone and Keeley was left alone in her new home. She finished setting up the corkboard on her desk with a few photos on it and was working on spreading out the decals of roses, daisies, and leaves around when the door opened. 

A petite Hispanic girl with curly hair stood in the doorway with three large suitcases. 

"Hi!" she greeted with a Spanish accent. "I'm Valentina Benavente. Nice to meet you!"

Keeley set her decals on the bed and hurried over to help her with her bags. "I'm Keeley Hall. Here, let me take something."

Valentina smiled gratefully. "Thank you. Have you been here long?"

"Only about an hour. My dad helped me move in. Do you have anyone with you? If you don't I can help you unpack."

"I would appreciate that! I'm here alone; my parents sent me off at the airport in Lima. I want to go to an American medical school before going back home and opening up a practice," Valentina disclosed cheerfully. 

She had been here less than two minutes had been smiling the entire time.  

"Oh, you're from Peru? That's so cool! I've lived in New York City my entire life but I've always wanted to travel," Keeley said as she finished putting up the wall decals before helping her new roommate. 

"You will have to show me all of the good places around here then."

"Sure!"

They happily chatted about their expectations for their first year of college as they set up the room and discovered that they would be taking a lot of the same science classes in the future because their majors had a fair amount of overlap. They even shared the same introductory biology class this semester.

 Keeley was thrilled to meet such a friendly person right off the bat. 

Once the room was set up, it was about dinner time so they headed to the main dining hall nearby. Valentina was fascinated by all the different types of food and asked tons of questions. 

The dining hall was similar to a buffet but not quite. There were several stations offering different meal plates that could be chosen at will, plus a dessert bar that also boasted an assortment of cereal and a waffle maker for breakfast. 

Keeley got a plate of chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans plus a blueberry muffin. Valentina wanted to try a bit of everything and got plates from multiple stations, making her roommate laugh. 

"Slow down there, friend. You'll be able to try everything by the time the school year ends. I guarantee you'll be sick of the repetition at some point." 

She remembered how tiring the meal plan got back at Boston University. They had a rotation of different meals every two weeks but that was still not a lot of variety to last two semesters. It was such a relief when she moved out of the freshman dorms into an apartment that had a kitchen. 

Valentina was a bit sheepish. "You are probably right…but I have never seen this much American food in one place before."

Keeley clapped a hand on her shoulder. 

"Don't worry, you'll get acclimatized soon enough. I have to ask…have you ever had pizza? Or a hot dog?"

"No?"

"I'll have to take you to the best places around here then!" A thought struck her. "Oh, do you have a job?"

The other girl nodded. "Yes, I have a work visa to be a TA for an upper level Spanish class in the linguistics department."

That was good. Eating out in the city was not cheap. 

"That sounds a lot nicer than my job," she said with a laugh. "I work at a Burger Barn."

"I have never had a hamburger before. Should I get one from Burger Barn?"

"Nah, you'd be better off getting a higher quality burger somewhere else. We're meant to be cheap, fast, and easy but not necessarily good. I'll take you to a nice burger place, don't worry!"

By the end of the dinner, Keeley felt like she had made a new friend. Back in their dorm, someone knocked on their door asking if they wanted to come down to the rec center and join the ping pong tournament going on. 

They decided to do it since there was nothing better to do and ended up meeting a fair number of their neighbors that way. Dorm life had officially begun and Keeley loved it.

Keeley, a simple plain Jane, hits the jackpot.  [No, she did not win the lottery!]  At least that's what she thinks when she marries the most eligible bachelor in New York City: Aaron, a wealthy cold-hearted heartthrob and Tycoon. 

She wants to show the world that she deserves her position and bends over  backward to fit into his world.

One beautiful day, Aaron hands her a document asking her to sign.  A divorce paper...

"She's pregnant, and I need to take responsibility."

My name is Justus Erickson and this is my story. Today has been slow as usual in the restaurant, cleaning dishes and wondering what kinds of people were eating these fancy dishes like lobster and oysters, etc. It is now the end of my shift and the boss is sending me home. Walking outside and heading over to my car, the unexpected happened. I was struck by a bolt of lightning out of no where. There aren't even any clouds in the sky! What the hell! This is what went through my mind before darkness overtook me. Little did I know that my true life was just about to begin. 



I am now awake and am currently laying in a hospital bed. I listen as a nurse talks to a doctor at the foot of my bed. "It's incredible doctor! His hair has grown down passed his shoulders and is now pure silver in color, as well as his eyes. His skin tone has become a healthy golden color from the pale white he originally had, and his height has increased from 6 feet tall to over 6 and a half feet tall! This just goes above and beyond the realm of science. This can't even be explained by science. He was hit directly in the heart by a lightning bolt and instead of dying, his body became the peak of the human male, if not more. After all doctor, we have yet to have him go through stress testing, assuming he is even willing. Oh, look doctor! He is awake already! How incredible.." 



I sat up and made eye contact with the hot nurse and the sexy and mature female doctor, whose name tag I could see said Dr. Mary Sue. Are you kidding? Actual Mary Sue?! Isn't that supposed to just be a bad joke guys like to use? Now a real person with the name has appeared! Anyway, clearing my throat I asked the doctor, "So, from what I hear my physical condition seems to be unusual. Is there anything for me to be worried about? If not, I would really like to go home. Today has been too eventful of a day for me." Looking at me thoughtfully, the doctor held her chin before nodding and saying, "Go on home, if we have anything further that we require from you we shall contact you. Go home and rest." Thanking the doctor and the nurse, I got out of my hospital bed and grabbed the spare change of clothes that they had prepared for me along with my keys and wallet and swiftly made my way for the door. Let's go home.



Finally out of the hospital, I called a cab and had it bring me to my work so that I could retrieve my car. It's just an old 1995 Ford Taurus with black paint and blue flame decals down the sides of the car. Climbing into my car, I turned the key over and started the engine. Home is only three blocks away from Kerrie's Dining Hall. I live in a one bedroom apartment at Cherry Hill Apartments. In no time I have made it home, and walk into apartment number 10 on the second floor. Sprawling myself out on my sofa, I sigh in disbelief and stay this way for a good half an hour or so. However, I have grown curious as the nurses description of my appearance was so far from my original appearance that it sounded like an elaborate prank. Though, now standing in front of my bathroom mirror I stare in disbelief. I stare at the face and body of a god. Because in my mirror I see me wearing some ancient battle armor and lightning flashing in the sky. My eyes have flashes of sparks in them as well in the reflection. Suffice it to say that I have gone catatonic at this point. After all my reflection is just too terrifying and epicly cool at the same time. I am confused, because I feel like I recognize this appearance. Wait a minute.. Thor God of Thunder! Holy crap... Did I somehow become the reincarnation of Thor or like his vessel on Earth or something? This is nuts, so then that makes me a hero or a god. Whichever is the case, I am sure to have godly strength and power over thunder and lightning. This is totally badass!  



Finally calmed down, I walk out of the bathroom and change into my own clothes from my closet. Noticing that my clothes don't fit anymore, I sigh before changing back into the black tee and blue pants that the hospital gave to me. Looks like it is time for a mall shopping trip!

His body should have been exhausted after taking a 7hour long flight, delivering two hours of lecture and attending a meeting. He almost spent 15hours continuosly without taking any break. Even the previous few days work was hellish, since he wanted to spend the next 2 weeks in the UK.

He looked at the time on his wall clock. It's half past 8 already. He was about to close his laptop, suddenly a call arrived. Looking at the caller id, he smiled and picked the call

" Hello"

"President Jiang, there is an urgent email for you to approve !!", a gentle voice from the other end replied.

"Okay...Hold on..Let me check !!"

He opened the email and with the bold letters, the email stated, "Jiang Chen...You fu**ing bas**rd !! I resign"

Seeing the email, Jiang Chen chuckled and responded cooly, " I won't"

"Why won't you ?? I will not come to work from tomorrow. Do whatever you want", Jenny shouted from the other end.

After his Grandpa left Elijah went back to his apartment, it was a one bedroom apartment with a single bathroom, it was already furnished yesterday when they stayed at the hotel, stepping into the house it was a studio apartment with the bedroom straight ahead after entering and the bathroom to the left, with a 45' inch t.v hanging on the wall the kitchen had a electric cooker and a few plates and cutlery, the bedroom had a medium sized bed.

It was after washing up that he started to feel hungry Elijah headed to the kitchen but the refrigerator just hard a few vegetables and fruits, looks like he needed to head outside to eat ,it was evening and there were a lot more people on the road returning from work, going to diner.

"You are new here?" he notice most people in the pub have their eye on him

"Yes I am just moved yesterday" he answered 
Feeling that he looks a little nervous she smiles to assure him

"Oh good we have a new face tired of these boring old ones" she turns to look at the rest in pub

A few people laughed Elijah guess she is well liked 
"Where you from?" 

"Newcastle" 

At this point he cant wait to get the food the hunger is starting to increase she notices he is not interested in the Q&A she switches to 

"What will you be having?"

"Burger and chips with a glass of orange juice please" Elijah replies

She turns around and says
"Coming right up dear" 

Most people went back to discussing about their lives he heard a few people talking about their expectation for the new season the bartender behind the counter who looks like he is about mid 40s years old replies

"We should be able to get a mid table finish the manager is used to the team by now"
The other guy with brown hair and this nose replies

"It depends on the summer transfers I heard we signed another player today Kenny" he said

The direction of thee conversation gets Elijah's full attention cause he is the new player

Kenny the bartender replies "Yes we did the club will announce tomorrow morning"

Wednesday

Hou Yi awoke and found Anna trying to move quickly on her crutches into the bathroom.  Jumping up, he moved and scooped Anna into his arms quickly carrying her into the bathroom before settling her on a low chair he had arranged in the bathroom for her to sit on while she threw up.  As soon as he had placed her there Anna commenced throwing up.

Hou Yi felt helpless, but all he could do was keep her hair from her face and have a glass of water for her to gargle and clean out her throat once she had finished throwing up.  He moved to place the glass of water in easy reach while keeping her hair out of her face.

Ten minutes later, Anna was over her throwing up and as Hou Yi handed her the glass of water she joked "I know why they call it morning sickness.  At least I am lucky and it only hits me first thing in the morning."

"Sweetheart, I hate to see this happening."

Anan reached up and gently touched his arm and he looked directly at her "Darling with fingers crossed in less than eight months, we will have an addition to our family.  Who would have thought two months ago we would have been in this position.  You hoping I would see the light, and meet you again and me stuck with that idiot who made my life a misery.  Life has had its change and we have each other."

"Anna …"

"Now, forget about trying to be sweet and help me up from here.  While I appreciate this, given the past, it is so damn uncomfortable."

Hou Yi bent down and scooped Anna into his arms carrying her to the couch, gently placing her on it before handing her some dry crackers and the ginger tea that the doctors ad recommended for her when morning sickness hit.

Hou Yi knew that if he had a coffee in the next hour or so, its smell would make Anna vomit again. 
 He opted for a cold fruit juice from the bar fridge and headed back towards the couch.  Seeing Anna trying to move, Hou Yi sat down beside her with his juice, and she leaned on him getting comfortable.  After a few quiet minutes together Hou Yi quietly said "What time is your appointment today at the hospital?"

"9:30am.  A quick checkup and they are going to do an Xray of the leg to determine when they believe the case can come off.  I hope that that is soon, preferably next week.  When that decision is made, the appointments will be scheduled for its removal, a physiotherapy appointment made and the first real ultrasound of the pregnancy.  I figured that I would come in to the office in the afternoon, to quickly review the work Jodie was dealing and there is a meeting at 3pm for starting the planning of the fundraising event."

Anna twisted slightly and looked at Hou Yi "Something is bothering you, what is it?"

"CEO Lu is trying to buy on market the shares that I have brought.  The brokers have contacted the shell companies I have used for the deal and offered twenty percent over what I paid for the shares. 
 The only good thing is he has not figured out what shares I have all the shares that have been traded on the market."

"Sweetheart if you get the good news today with the cast I intend to exercise the rights that the company charter for people owning fifteen percent or more of the company.  I want you with me, when I get rid of his from the company, but I need to know when you will be able to generally move without the crutches as the last thing we need to risk is further injury."

"Can you not come with me?"

"Sorry I have a day full of meetings, and the worst thing is that I have to leave and head to Japan for two days tonight.  I hate the idea of leaving you but Uncle Feng is on his long awaited for leave, and it needs someone senior in the company to be there.  Two senior managers that I would trust at this time to act on their own are dealing with pre-planned matters."

"There was two other senior managers that could have gone.  I had to sent one to the UK to deal with complications for our European Headquarters from Brexit.  The replacement I had scheduled called last night about 11pm.  His wife had had their baby at seven months and both are currently on the critical list.  He can address matters here while I am away if needed, but in the circumstances there was no way I could sent him."

"At present, the other senior managers, are people while highly competent are not use to going business with the Japanese.  I am taking a couple of promising prospect with me to get them up to speed but ..."

"Yi, you do not need to explain things to me.  What about the board meeting on Friday?"

"I need you to attend.  Father will come in and chair the meeting as the charter in the absence of the chairman allows a previous chairman to step in and act as chairman.  You will have my Proxy, and Yao Tan will be there and Uncle Feng has given his proxy to Yao Tan as well.  He is unable to given me the proxy to me, or anyone in the family."

Hou Yi, carefully moved and picked Anna up taking her with him into the bathroom so both of them could get ready for the day.

Anna Jones, an Australian travelled with her fiancé Lu Jinhu to marry in his home country, only to find out that she has been duped by him and robbed of everything that she owns.  A quirk of fate allows her to marry CEO Hou Yi, who was meant to on the same day marry his finance Yang Lin, who in fact married Lu Jinhu. Thanks to the five-digit white-haired succubus, the over sufficient fund she provided allowed Hao Ren to enjoy living like a rich man in this foreign country. Though not comparable with the super-rich, to Hao Ren, being able to reserve such a suite of two rooms with attached bathrooms and a living room in a luxurious hotel, is already considered as rich. After a bumpy check-in, three of them were led by a hotel attendant to the suite they reserved two days ago. Upon reaching the room, Lily already was too tired to behave like a human anymore. She was literally crawling her way into the room. 


Hao Ren could only explain to the stunned attendant. "She’s just sleepwalking, sleepwalking…"

The expression of the attendant was quizzical. He probably never seen such a level of sleepwalking. However, the attendant handled it professionally and didn’t pursue. After briefing them about the facilities of the suite and the hotel services in comprehensible mandarin, he left the room.


"The hotel’s advertisement wasn’t exaggerated at all. The attendant’s proficiency in Mandarin is better than that of your English." said Hao Ren as he turned his head to teased Vivian while dragging Lily into the living room. "Check the doors and rooms with your five extraordinary senses. Make sure that there aren’t any hidden cameras. I don’t want to alert the scientists."


Vivian was unhappy. After checking the door, she mumbled something and wrote some invisible glyphs on the door and turned to say, "It’s done. I will know right away when somebody is approaching."


Hao Ren nodded and threw the still sleeping Lily onto the sofa. He then looked around the room and thought, to be honest, this was the classiest hotel room he had ever stayed in. The living room was covered with thick light yellow carpet. The warm luminance of the lamps fell on the wall, giving warmth to the ambience and somehow reassuring. There was a LCD TV and a mini bar at one side of the living room. The other side was decorated with a sofa, a coffee table and seats for guests. There were two bedrooms at the north and south end of the suite, each attached with a bathroom. This was necessary as Hao Ren knew that he shouldn’t be sharing the same room with the girls. Yet, he dare not let these two unreliable girls out of sight. Therefore, the best solution was to reserve this suite with two bedrooms for them. 


As a matter of fact, this was not the best solution as Lily and Vivian might end up fighting each other. However, he couldn’t get a more suitable suite with three rooms when he was booking. He could only take what’s available at the moment. Anyhow, before departing, Vivian and Lily had sworn that they would get along well. Of course, it’s still too early to tell.


Hao Ren looked around the extravagant suite like a bumpkin (even though it’s considered quite basic to the super-rich) and was satisfied. Suddenly, Lily opened her eyes and sat up straight right beside him. She stretched herself deeply and yelled, "Landlord, have we reached the place yet?"


Hao Ren looked at the energetic Lily oddly. The bright and beautiful morning sun was slanting through the French windows and fell right on her face.  It was 6.30am in local time. The naptime inherent to Lily’s biological clock was just over and this werewolf girl amazingly woke up just on time.
 

"I’ve got a feeling that we might fail the task," said Hao Ren and sighed. He took out the MDT from his pocket, activated it and searched for the details of the task that Raven 12345 assigned to him. "We will depart two days later. It will take one day to reach our destination from this place and we are taking the highway which is the shortest route. So the main task for tomorrow is to figure out the map and where the heck is this "Yorkford". Raven 12345 said she wanted to put us newbies to the test… I wonder what kind of a test this is, not providing us a more accurate map!"


"Yorkford… I can’t find it on the map," Lily was wide awake. She was lying beside Hao Ren, looking curiously at the projected image from the MDT. "Hey landlord, we haven’t had lunch, have we?"


Hao Ren looked at the bright window and said, "It should be breakfast… before or after breakfast. We will eat later. Also, don’t call me landlord when we are out. It sounds weird. You can just call me by my name."


"Okay, landlord. I got it, landlord."


Hao Ren, "…"


Vivian walked around each room in the suite happily. She even went to have a look at the bathroom before returning to the living room, seemingly impressed. She glanced at the hologram floating before her and reminded Hao Ren. "Didn’t you say you wanted to report to Raven? Try to ask for more details while you are at it."
 

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about it," Hao Ren slapped his head. He pinched the edge of the MDT like how he did before and was searching hard in his head for Raven 12345’s contact channel. "I hope she goes to work today. She is not too reliable."


This time Raven 12345 didn’t disappoint Hao Ren. The holographic projection above the MDT flickered and the beautiful woman with beautiful silver hair appeared before Hao Ren. "What’s up?"   


"I’ve reached UK," Hao Ren looked curious as he realized that the background behind Raven 12345 looked somewhat like outer space. "Where are you?" 


"UK? What are you doing there? Oh yes I remembered it. I asked you to pick someone up. How’s it?" asked Raven 12345.


"Nothing much." Hao Ren have no time to figure out why was there a huge flame of explosion behind Raven 12345, "Vivian made a mistake and Lily was sleeping like a dead dog few minutes ago. And the ‘Yorkford’ you told me about does not even exist on the map. Also… none of us can speak English. You don’t supposed we can simply find any local chap to be our translator right, given the secrecy of this mission? What if they find out about the unusual creatures?"


"Can’t speak English? It’s just a minor problem." Raven 12345’s lips didn’t move as she spoke. Yet the voice was still coming from the projection. Apparently she was using another method to communicate with Hao Ren when in outer space. Just then a bright explosion flashed in the background of the holographic projection. Rave12345 turned around and simply threw a dazzling bluish white ball of light at it. She then turned back and said, "Didn’t I tell you to study your MDT, why don’t you listen to me? Just enter the app list and look for the translation program."


Hao Ren was watching Raven 12345 throwing balls of lightning in space. He was getting more and more curious as to what she was doing out there but still stick to the question and tried to explain it to her. "I tried to use the translation app, however, it was all about the languages of XX planet and the general dictionary of XX universe. I guess it must be useful when travelling to the other planet but there’s nothing I can use on earth…"


Raven 12345 paused for a moment and slapped her head, "Opps! I installed the wrong app. You know how I always find these technological devices confusing. I will instruct the technician to transfer the right translation program to you later. Meanwhile, let me settle this mess over here first. Just a moment."


After she was done talking, Raven 12345 turned to around again and threw out a bright blue electric arc. Hao Ren couldn’t estimate how huge that electric arc was through the holographic projection. All he could see was the arc almost took out the whole screen instantly. He was astonished and asked, "What are you really doing? Why does it look so busy over there?"


"Oh, I’m just cleaning up the room," said Raven without thinking. "A gang of self-pity lunatics are gearing up to destroy the world. They even created mathematical rates weapons. I have to get rid of them before the damage is done…"



While Raven 12345 was speaking, Hao Ren noticed that there was a peculiar wreckage as huge as massif in the background. The wreckage was surrounded by blue blaze. It was disintegrating as it slowly glide across the space. Numerous small spaceship-like objects emerged from the wreckage but were almost instantly shot into oblivion by blue beams coming out of nowhere.


Hao Ren knew at once that he should stop asking about it. What Raven 12345 was doing was apparently nothing peaceful…


"Ok, where were we just now?" Raven 12345’s voice woke Hao Ren up from blanked state his mind was in. "Oh, I need to upload a new translation program. Well, you bunch of unofficial guys are really troublesome. After you become an official employee, these programs will be installed into your head directly and you will have a built-in interpretation system wherever you go."

The Shen's were taken aback by Lu Wei's words. Shen He, in particular, became worried that the rumors about the Lu Wei managing an underground organization was true.
"Of course, who doesn't want to defend themselves, right? Haha!" Christina Lu said and began to praise the sumptuous meal before them.
"By the way, Aunt Lu and Uncle Lu, Xia Yanmei and I are very good friends and she had already agreed to help me schedule a slot with the Vice President of the Royal Dragon. It would be great if I can help your company make collaboration with them!" Mian announced with excitement, looking back and forth at the Lus and at Yanmei.
Lu Jie's eyes showed interest in hearing this. Although they had ties with the Royal Dragon, it was never business-related. "That's good to hear Mian. You will surely pave a way for Lu-Wei Enterprises to go global."
"Thank you for the help, Ms. Xia." Lu Wei said while offering a toast.
She laughed all of a sudden surprising everyone in the room. Then she sipped at her wine before explaining herself, "Mr. Lu, I am merely a cousin to the main family…Trust me when I say, you have connections to the Royal Dragon Empire... more than you know."
Yanmei then raised her glass to Lu Wei then turned to Andrea and said, "Cheers! To the beautiful girlfriend of Mr. Lu."
"Cheers!" Andrea smiled back at her and raised her glass.
"Oh, my... What a big rock on your finger. Don't tell me you're engaged?" Yanmei's smile was from ear to ear and her eyes twinkled with excitement.
Everyone's eyes were wide open. This especially did not escape the Shens.
"Yes, I want to marry Andrea and Andrea Li alone. I love her very much." Lu Fang proudly announced then looked at the woman next to him before giving her a peck on the lips.
"Congratulations, Mr. Lu. You found yourself a gem." Xia Yanmei said.
The man felt that there was a hidden meaning to her words, but before he could ask, Mrs. Lu jumped right in. "Lu Fang, when were you planning on telling us?"
"Today mom, I was planning to tell everyone today."
"Mom, Dad, Grandfather. I never want to be with anyone else in my life. So I plan to marry Andy after meeting her sister by the end of the month."
Andrea's face turned crimson, shied away from hearing the man's confession in front of his parents.
Lu Wei and Lu Jie's reaction were neutral. They had agreed not to interfere with Lu Fang's decision and although they both acknowledged Andrea for her skills in protecting their only heir, deep down, they wished she had a different line of work, a businesswoman or an achieved executive perhaps.
The Shens and Lu Fang's friends, on the other hand, were in disbelief. Shen Mian mostly, was in rage at that very moment that she broke her wineglass as she held it.
"Mian! Are you okay?" asked her mother.
"I'm sorry." She was gasping for air all of a sudden, out of breath from the announcement. "Excuse me. I need to have my hand checked. I think I cut myself."
Shen Mian managed to excuse herself, but instead of going to the bathroom, she went outside the lawn further away from the house and screamed! She screamed so loud the Lu Fang's security heard her cry. Her tears began to flow and her hands trembled out of anger.
'No… Nooo!!!!!!!!!! I did not wait for years just for this to happen!'
While his daughter was away venting her frustration, Shen He knew he needed to take action. In their minds, they needed to find fault or flaw in Andrea soon.
"Congratulations indeed to the next Mrs. Lu. I'm sure everyone would like to know more about you. The public will certainly pry on your background so you need to be prepared, young lady." Shen He said and turned to Lu Wei and Christina. "The Lu Family also needs to be prepared."
"So Andrea, what prestigious school did you go to? Because our beloved Mian studied in the international school of Beijing and took masters at Standford University together with Xia Yanmei. Isn't that right Ms. Xia?"
Yanmei's eyes narrowed. She now realizes the purpose of inviting her to this dinner. Instead of responding, she finished the remaining food on her plate.
Andrea smiled at Yanmei and looked up to Mr. Shen. "I studied in Britain's Bright Academy in the UK. It's not as known as Standford, but it's a very good school."
As if on cue, Ai Liqin spoke, "Well… that is just such a shame! The future Mrs. Lu came from an unknown school. It must be such an unachieved rundown institution since I've never heard of it. How disappointing."
The woman felt proud of being able to step on Andrea. She and the Shens thought they were starting to win when a thundering slam on the table was heard in the direction of Lus.
"Excuse me, but Britain's Bright Academy is a very exclusive international private college in the UK. It is not just any other school. It may not be as famous as the great Standford, but it's students are well achieved." The conviction of Christina Lu's voice echoed through the room, making the Ai Liqin gulp on her saliva.
Alarmed at the tone of Mrs. Lu, Yu Qiao questioned, "Is it now Christina? How come I've never heard of this? Although, I don't travel to Europe that often, surely it would ring a bell - "
"I studied at the same school! I know for a fact what I am talking about!"
Christina Lu's reply instantly frightened Ai Liqin and Mrs. Shen. Instead of putting Andrea to shame, they had made an enemy out Lu Fang's mother.

"Andy, I love you so much." The man said while taking a breather after a long kiss.

Andrea closed her eyes and held his face giving him small kisses before answering. "I love you too." 

"Babe, I know I said I'd wait till we get married, but… - " 

"Shhh…" She interrupted him and teasingly bit her lip before smiling. She gave him another set of kisses before finally adding, "I never asked you to wait… I want you too…"

 "Andy, tell me about your family? What have you been up to before we met?" 

Andrea's head was leaning against his torso thinking of what to say to him. She was suddenly silent and began sorting through a pile of secrets in her head, trying to decide where to start. 

She then turned to the side and hugged him tightly. 

"Andy?" 

"Sometimes, I wonder if I am that really important to you."

BANG! BANG! 

Lu Fang closed his eyes anticipating pain to follow but as he opened his eyelids, he felt nothing.

“Andy! Andy!” 

He screamed at the top of his lungs when he realized it was Andrea and not him who received the bullets and fell off the cliff.

Inside a private facility, a woman woke up from a coma and the first thing she did was to call her sister. “I want you to arrange a marriage for me. Marry me off to the CEO of Lu-Wei Enterprises, Lu Fang.”
