I don't know mandarin, I'm not Chinese, but I like their stories about immortals, so I'm using Chinese names on this one.

English is not my main language, so if there's  mistakes in my grammar. I Apologize. 

I will not update everyday. At least 2 times a week at most, if not 3.

I can't go to Heaven and I can't go to Hell either. I'm no friend of Lucifer. So there is no connection there. Plus I heard he's been busy with making his TV show at Hollywood recently. Chances are it'd be hard to find him if I were to go down there. I also hate it for not enforcing a dress code.  From all the movies and TV shows I have watched I think either a simple uniform or a requirement that his followers be clean and presentable would have greatly improved his public image.  At least let's wipe the blood off the faces who come out and do their missions. That's enough said about Lucifer. I think the famous Confucius once said, or maybe it was one of his students, that a true gentleman should respect the deities but keep them at bay. With all the gods flexing their muscles and fighting for their principles it's better I don't choose sides because you'd never know who you'd run into one of these days. 

So the only option left for me as Samantha suggested is to explore the Chinese option. I am Chinese and my great grand parents came from China and I know how to speak Cantonese. Nowadays with China's rising it seems speaking Cantonese is like bird talk. Mandarin is the new fashion and I can speak some basic Mandarin. But the Chinese like connections and like cultivating relationships. The world cannot go around without connections. So I will need a connection to talk to the delegation.
"Samantha, look, I'm not mad and can not afford to be mad about anything that's higher up. I think the reason I came here because of the glitch (I didn't say 'your glitch') is all part of God's plan. I'm ready for the test but need your help to see how this all plays out." I made sure I sounded as sincere and faithful as possible. 
"I'm very glad you can think this way. How can I help." It seemed I was able to get Samantha on the same page with me.
"Well, you mentioned that the Chinese Delegation came to discuss the cross boundary issues. I do think my current situation is related to this. So I can and do want to volunteer myself for your continued discussions." For a moment I thought I was again a lawyer trying to convince the judge for the next best thing. 
"Michael, I think that's a great idea. Let me take it up and see if this could be considered." Samantha  also became encouraged.

For the following two days I was waiting to hear from Samantha. The living quarters are connected to the reception hall. My room is clean with fresh bed sheets. No, I didn't check to see if they were made in China.  The food is also nice, very vegetarian. I do agree it wouldn't be appropriate to serve meats of any kind. If we happen to have pig that has gone to Heaven and sees that his fellow citizens being slaughtered and served also in Heaven it wouldn't be good. And I again tried to peek through the clouds to see what's behind the Heavenly gate, sorry, no luck. 

An agent came in shortly after I had my breakfast and asked me to follow him. He led me to a conference room at the reception hall. There are a dozen Chinese delegates inside, all dressed in their suits with their bags and luggage packed and appeared ready to leave. I spotted Samantha's familiar face. 
"Deputy Wang, I'd like to introduce to you Michael Yao. Michael is from America and has volunteered for the testing project we have discussed."
"Michael, Deputy Wang is with the Chinese Delegation and he is deputy to the Lord of Hell." Apparently Samantha is not just an administrator she is a senior ranked administrator. I stepped forward and extended my hands to Wang, " Deputy Wang, it's such an honor to meet you. (I really can't say 'I've heard so much about you, or hell.') I am ready and at your disposal." When I see no reaction from his face I again said it in Chinese Mandarin.
"Mr. Yao, I want to thank you for voluntary for this project. Now your grand parents came from China correct?" Wang asked me in Chines. He was polite but felt no need to be too nice to me.
"Yes, Deputy Wang. They came to America from Taishan, China. The Yao family has resided at their home village for many generations. In fact, I still have people I can call distant cousins back in Taishan." I quickly added to reassure Samantha and Deputy Wang.
"Welcome, you can go pack your bags and I will take you with me. We will be leaving soon." Wang said.
"Deputy Wang, I am ready and have nothing to pack." I said. Wang responded with a puzzled glance at Samantha. I wasn't about to explain given what has happened to me. Upon understanding the exchanges from the interpreter on the side, Samantha gave me an affirming look and said to Wang, "Michael is divorced and retired. He volunteered and came up straight for the testing project."

I said goodbye to Samantha and thanked her for giving me the opportunity. "Samantha, I do appreciate this. Without this opportunity I'd be a wandering soul."
"Michael, I've been at my job for centuries. You may or may not be a Christian I don't know. But I do believe everything happens for a reason. You said it's all part of God's plan. I hope you truly believe in it and I do wish you good luck." These were the parting words from the woman who never smiles. 

I got on the shuttle bus or more like a space shuttle with the Chinese Delegation and my patron Deputy Mr. Wang from hell, or should I say the Dark Realm. There are fours realms as I know. If the Dark houses the dead to be reincarnated it is naturally in perpetual darkness hence called the Dark Realm. Whereas the Light Realm is where humans live and can be bathed and nourished under the Sun. Then there is the Magic and spirits Realm where animals enchanted or spirited dominate. Finally, there is the Realm of Deities or Gods. One realm is not necessarily higher than the other. So the system can not be called a hierarchy because the Realm of Gods would not feel special if its worshipers at the Light Realm didn't exist. And the Realm of Gods would not be worshiped if not for their role in fighting against the unruly spirits from the Magic Realm. To keep the worshipers in line at the Light Realm the Dark Realm serves the purpose in providing a place after death and a place for reincarnation. To keep the very few and aspiring humans and animals happy there is the option for them to escape the reincarnation life cycle for advancement to the Realm of Gods. And obviously there are many levels existing in each realm. Each realm is called a realm because of its existence in its very own dimension. To be able to cross dimensional barriers requires one to possess abilities and skills at the highest level of their dimension unless one travels downward to a lower dimension. With laws and rules come exceptions. The cross dimensional travel exception is the dimensional tunnels. Through these tunnels one can travel from one continent to another within a dimension or for cross dimensional travel as well. The trick is in finding these tunnel sites and having the sufficient energy levels or abilities to activate one. 

I feel fortunate to have crossed the dimensions and came before the Gate of Heaven. Now with Deputy Wang sitting in front of me in this space shuttle my destination is the Realm of Darkness. Lights, blinding lights again caused my brain to go blank. I have been homeless with my soul now for days. In terms of time on Earth I really wouldn't know for how long. What future may hold for me I still wouldn't know. But Realm of Darkness I come for a life once lived yet fulfilled.

A retired Chinese American lawyer traveled back in time to North America after the fall of the Aztec Empire in the mid 1500s. To defend his newly found and extended family the young Chief Kang embarked on an epic journey to establish an Indian Nation that forever changed history.

"This group of Koreans are really too much." said Zheng Zhun also frowning.
Tang Yan turned to look at Zheng Zhun, remembering that he understood Korean, lowering his voice he asked: "What did they say?"
"They are slamming the Finnish archer, saying that with such skills he should stick to skiing."
Tang Yan frowned, they were really being too much.
The first group of games continued, and the Koreans' voices were heard from time to time. This made Tang Yan's interest in watching the game greatly wane, but after the first group of games ended, Li Haoze's play was quite good.
72 arrows down, his final score was 636 points, he ranked in the top three of the six players, this was a good start for the Chinese team.

After the end of the seventh group, Zheng Zhun got up and got ready to go up.
Zheng Zhun's strength was the weakest among the three. His debut also attracted Tian Zhenzhe attention. It can be said that Zheng Zhu's play determined the lower limit of the Chinese team's ranking in the team competition.
At the beginning of the first round, Zheng Zhun's play was fairly stable. The final result of the 6 arrows was 49 points, ranking third in his group. It was an average performance.
The best player in this round was a player from Nigeria named Ezekiel Jafari who scored 54 points and ranked first in the group.

Zheng Zhun may have been under too much pressure. But his second round score was only 45 points and his state was already going downhill.
When they were resting between rounds, Tian Zhenzhe tried to give Zheng Zhun some advice, but the effect wasn't satisfactory.
In the third round, the Nigerian archer Jafari continued his thrilling performance. Six arrows for a total of 56 points to send the audience into marvel.
Even the Koreans were amazed and regarded him as a worthy competitor to keep an eye on.
The more Jafari performed, the further Zheng Zhun seemed to crumble under the pressure.
In the fourth round, he shot a 6 pointer and then even missed the target.
This kind of performance also attracted laughter and teasing from the Koreans.

After the end of the eighth group, Zheng Zhun final score was 600 points.

Henan people had monopolized the food sales and recycling industries in the border province. As long as one Henan person was able to successfully start a business here, it would take only a few years for an entire village of Henan people to slowly come over. They also all worked together in an especially unified manner. There were many of them who didn't even know how to speak Mandarin Chinese[1], although they were extremely proficient in the Henan dialect.
The Sichuan people were experts in opening up all sorts of restaurants, including hot pot, regular fried dishes, fast food, and so on. Their restaurants's food was considered far more delicious than the locals' restaurants'. They were also really hardworking, and would often start working early in the morning. Meanwhile, the locals preferred to sleep in until late in the morning. By that time, the Sichuan restaurants had already done a lot of business.
China was constantly improving as a country. Without regards to other industries, China's improvements in the medical field were quite evident. In every city, large new buildings were being constructed for hospitals every day. The most advanced medical equipment was also constantly being purchased.

On Friday night, Zhu Qianqian and Zhang Fan were working the night shift together when a Chinese southerner from W Province came to the respiratory department for treatment. This man was a business owner. Zhu Qianqian especially loved receiving patients who came in after the regular day shift because nobody would fight over such patients with her, nor would the director tell her that she had too many patients and that she had to give the patient to another fellow doctor, as the director didn't work night shifts.
"Hello, doctor. I've been feeling rather hot recently, and I also keep coughing. My phlegm also sometimes contains blood."
This southerner spoke heavily accented Mandarin Chinese. It was somewhat difficult to understand his words.
"Let me listen to your respiratory sounds. Please have a seat. Rest assured, since you're at a hospital, we doctors will help you with your illness. Please raise your shirt." This southerner wore high-class clothing. Everything he had, including his wallet, was from a well-known name brand. Zhu Qianqian's eyes were basically sparkling. He was quite well accustomed to doctors' social customs as he instantly handed a red packet to Zhu Qianqian along with giving Zhang Fan two boxes of smokes. Zhang Fan tried to refuse, but Zhu Qianqian stuffed the smokes into Zhang Fan's pocket.
"Just take these smokes," Zhu Qianqian told him. "Even if you're not a smoker, you can always give them away to someone else to make friends with them!" She then squeezed the red packet before telling the southerner, "You probably realize already that your disease is difficult to deal with, really difficult. It's quite troublesome for me."

Oh did you forget about his IQ – it's over 9000 but seriously Faust's body had to develop so fast in order to keep up with his brain. Now you must be wondering how did he even ask them well did you already forget his IQ is over 9000. His brain developed at a rapid pace. Forget about his IQ for a second. He has an eidetic memory because of his hyper-developing brain. Due to this he learned to speak after how to read, write and speak (not necessarily in that order) by the time he was 2.
He learnt the basic theory to commonly taught magic. The Sovereigns also forced him to learn about non-magical society and their advances since the Statue of Secrecy was established. As for what the SoS was, the Sovereigns explained it as the method used by the those who seek power to keep themselves in power, though they do agree with the fact that the magical world should be kept a secret form the mundane as the Sovereigns call them. (A/N I'll be calling non-magical people and society as mundane(s))

After studying up to professor level in most fields, he had found some fields to be quite interesting like neuro science and computers. He especially liked linguistics and could speak 50 major languages fluently and specialises in some obscure ones like Latin, Greek, Sanskrit and even Ancient Mandarin – it's said that all East Asian languages are derived from it. He also oddly picked up some mundane hobbies like magic, cardestry and playing with Lego. He was also enraptured by the mundanes take on the world their interpretation they called 'Science'. He constantly made breakthroughs in both magic and mundane Science and the Sovereigns were blown away by this.

These breakthroughs included easy wandless magic through the use of magic formulae and circles though this may be not applicable in battle it still helped with practice nonetheless. He also, due to his highly advanced brain, was able to delve deeper into the brain and its secrets and by studying Ancient Chinese medicine, namely acupuncture, he was able to understand the human body more than anyone else. In other words he had knowledge that would probably only be acquired over the next few centuries, however, he didn't announce his findings to anyone well except for the Sovereigns because that would endanger his mission – his mission of keeping the two worlds serperate. 

His breakthroughs in magic were insane he cracked several mind boggling questions that plagued the magical world for centuries.

One such mystery was what serperated mundanes from the magicals (A/N I know the names bad but couldn't think of anything else, it acts like more of a generalised term but I will use wizard/witch when talking about specifics.). And he claimed the answer was, "Pretty simple actually." He discovered that he has the ability to see magic particles, he termed as mana, in the air. He stated that all living beings have mana and mana is transformed into magic through a process. The process is the incantation and the corresponding gestures used along with it. He has summed all this up into basic formulae which allow for insta-casting but this requires immense mental strength and willpower to use so he hasn't shown anyone outside of the Sovereigns.
He also noted that magic is like a muscle – the more you use it the easier it becomes to use and that's why some magicals can certain spells wandlessly and chantlessly after extensive use.

Now enough babbling; anck to the main point. The thing that separates magicals from mundanes is the ability to transform mana into magic. That's what happens to Squibs. They have mana but lack the ability to turn into magic. And sometimes mundanes develop the ability to turn mana to magic.

"Woah! That accent's really better than mine! Hehe…" Giggling in return, Amara could only admit he was indeed better. Of course, she was still talking in Mandarin since from now on, all three of them were going to speak in Mandarin until they leave the country.
 
 
Next, the three bodyguards walked in front of them by themselves as they received their baggage and pulled them away to one of the luxurious cars parked beside the jet.
