Khan belongs to the Broken Tusk tribe, and is the third son of the chief Bhakar. Khan always tried to make himself stand out, but he knew he would never be as strong as his eldest brother Bhal, or as smart as his second brother Braukr. 

In an attempt to stand out he joined a war party against a rival tribe, The pale ones. While on the battlefield Khan freezes in fear and he notices all around him are the corpses and bodies of people he knew from his tribe and from the pale ones. He hears the screams, cries, and pleas of the wounded begging for death. While he isn't paying attention a pale one tribe member hits Khan and knocks him unconscious. 

The next thing Khan knows he is being sold to a area as a slave fighter. So begins the epic of Khan.

Dengan gerakan slow motion, aku mendorong lembut tubuh Tiara dari tubuhku. Beberapa saat mataku lekat memandang wajahnya yang tersenyum manis menggemaskan.
"Kok kamu tahu, aku Bangla? Siapa yang ngasih bocoran?" tanyaku dengan bisikkan mendesah akibat rongga dadaku yang sesak dipenuhi rasa heran.
"Ada deh!" Tiara menjawab seraya menunduk.
Kedua bola matanya menatap seksama bagian tubuhku depan pangkal paha di bawah pusar. Tempat bersemayamnya benda sakti yang dulu mendapat julukan 'Bangla'.
Cukup lama Tiara memfokuskan tatapannya di sana. Setelah puas, dia kembali menatap wajahku dengan tatapan yang sangat nanar dan sayu. Aku bahkan belum sanggup menterjemahkan tatapannya yang sangat menggoda itu.
Mata sayu dan nanar itu kini menyapu sekujur tubuhku dengan sangat intens dan mendalam. Bergerak pelan mulai dari ujung sepatu Kicker-ku hingga ujung rambutku.
Jantungku masih berdegup tak normal. Sebait tanya tersisa di dada. Mengapa setelah sekian lama julukan itu menghilang, kini ada lagi yang memanggilku dengan sebutan itu. Julukan yang sedikit sakral sekaligus tabu. Bahkan aku sudah meminta dengan hormat pada semua sahabat terdekatku untuk menghapusnya dari memori mereka.
Dan lebih mengejutkan lagi, ketika seorang Tiara yang membangkitkan kembali julukan ajaib itu. Sedangkan aku dan dia saling mengenal hanya sebatas teman biasa. Setiap bertemu hanya sekedar 'say halo.' Pernah bicara basa-basi berdua, itupun tak lebih dari beberapa patah kata saja.
Kalau pun dulu, aku punya kesempatan ngobrol panjang lebar berduaan dengannya, sudah dipastikan tak mungkin membahas 'Bangla'. Kecuali dia sudah pernah bertemu langsung dengannya.
Sejak kapan dia dapat bocoran gila itu? Dan siapa bedebah yang telah membocorkannya. Memalukan!
'Bangla' merupakan panggilan rahasia untukku. Hanya teman yang benar-benar akrab dan dekat yang diizinkan memanggilku demikian. Itu pun ketika keadaan sepi. Itu julukan pujian namun juga bisa dianggap sebagai ejekan.
Bangla diambil dari kata Bangladesh. Nama sebuah negara di Asia Selatan yang berbatasan dengan India di barat, utara, dan timur, Myanmar di tenggara, serta Teluk Benggala di selatan. Bangladesh secara harfiah bermakna "Negara Bangla". Ibu kota dan kota terbesar di Bangladesh ialah Dhaka
Beberapa temanku menjuluki demikian karena junior di balik celanaku, memiliki ukuran yang lebih besar dan lebih panjang dibanding mereka yang sebaya denganku. Ditambah dengan bulu-bulu yang tumbuh subur di kaki, paha, perut hingga dadaku.
Berdasarkan ciri-ciri fisik itu, aku sempat dikira memiliki garis keturunan bangsa Bangladesh atau India. Walau wajahku sama sekali tidak memiliki nuansa warga keturunan negara-negara tersebut.
Paras wajahku lebih mirip Rezky Aditya artis sinetron Indonesia, dibanding dengan Shahrul Khan atau pemain-pemain film bollywood lainnya. Kulit wajahku cenderung putih cerah dan bulu-bulu halus yang tumbuh subur di kaki, dada hingga perutku tidak selebat bulu-bulu lelaki India atau Bangladesh.
"Kamu dari mana dan mau kemana, Tiar?" Aku bertanya mengalihkan fokus pandangan dan pikiran nakalnya pada si Bangla.
"Aku mau pulang. Baru selesai manggung." Senyuman Tiara makin genit dan menggoda. Suaranya pun terdengar sedikit merdu, mendesah dan berirama.
"Manggung?" Aku kembali tersentak, "manggung apaan?" tanya kemudian dengan dahi berkerut dan kedua alis saling mendekat.
"Biasalah manggung dangdut. Musik rakyat jelata. Mengais receh untuk mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Agar dapurku tetap ngebul, kalau pun nanti ada sisanya terpaksa aku tabungkan, siapa tahu bisa untuk mencicil Ferrari, hehehe." Tiara menjawab manja dalam canda yang sedikit mengena.
"Kamu jadi penyanyi dangdut?" tanyaku setengah sadar.
Tiara mengangguk, wajahnya lurus menatapku dan kedua tangannya memegangi kedua lenganku dengan sangat lembut dan manja. Posisi yang seketika menyeret memoriku pada kenangan masa lalu yang telah silam.
Sebenarnya aku tak perlu bertanya tentang profesinya. Dari pakaian dan dandanannya pun dia sudah terlihat dangdut banget.
Yang jadi pertanyaan, sejak kapan dia menjadi artis dangdut? Kemana pakaian syar'i dan kerudung besarnya yang dulu selalu menutupi sekujur tubuhnya?
Beberapa tahun yang lalu, aku mengenal dia masih sebagai gadis yang sangat cantik, imut, pemalu, pendiam dan auratnya tertutup sempurna. Dia seorang ukhti yang sangat shalihah dipandang dari sudut gaya berdandan dan kepribadiannya.
Mengapa kini berbalik 108 derajat?
"Sejak kapan kamu jadi artis dangdut?" tanyaku ragu-ragu. Sejujurnya aku takut menyinggung perasaanya. 
Mungkinkah Tiara sedang bercanda? Untuk urusan aurat, tak mungkin dia sebercanda ini.
"Hmmm belum lama sih, mungkin sudah setengah tahunan kali ya." Tiara pun ragu-ragu. "masih sebatas hobi dan iseng aja. Daripada bengong sendirian di rumah." lanjutnya seraya menyandarkan pantatnya pada motorku yang jadi saksi bisu pertemuan kembali aku dan wanita syar'i yang kini telah menjelma menjadi artis dangdut yang sangat seksi.
"Bukannya artis dangdut biasanya pulang tengah malam?" selidikku.
"Harusnya begitu. Tapi, aku minta izin pulang lebih dulu. Soalnya dari tadi siang udah ngerasa gak nyaman di atas panggung. Penontonnya rada-rada rese gimana gitu."
"Hmmm."
"Ya, aku yakin, nanti malam pasti lebih rese tak terkontrol. Siang bolong aja udah rese dikendalikan alkohol. Aku tidak terlalu suka dengan lelaki pemabuk, makanya setengah hari aja, hehehe." Tiara menjelaskan panjang lebar.
"Bukannya kalau yang jogetnya mabuk berat makin asik. Kan dia hilang kontrol, lupa diri dan mudah menghambur-hamburkan uang recehnya untuk nyawer, hehehe." Aku terkekeh malu hati. Teringat segala kekonyolan dan kebodohan yang dulu sering aku lakukan.
"Gak semua begitu. Malah lebih banyak yang rese saat mabuk berat. Terkadang mereka ngotot minta uang sawera, kan brengsek. Namanya juga dalam pengaruh alkohol, mereka berasa paling berkuasa dan dunia miliknya, hehehe."
"Oh gitu," balasku kembali terkekeh.
Khusus yang satu ini, aku tak pernah konyol. Walau setiap berjoget di atas panggung, hampir dipastikan ada dalam pengaruh minuman keras. Namun tidak pernah sampai rese parah.
Mungkin karena sudah mengenal dan terbiasa dengan minuman beralkohol sejak kecil, hingga tidak pernah ada pemikiran meminum minuman keras untuk sekedar pamer atau dianggap hebat jika sampai mabok.
Di atas panggung aku malah jadi idola para penyanyi. Selain wajahku yang ehem-ehem dan tidak pernah rese aku pun sangat royal saat menerbangkan lembaran uang saweran. Mereka bahkan menjulukiku 'Abang Sawer Ganteng'
Sebenarnya aku tidak terlalu banyak mengenal Tiara. Kami beda sekolah dan beda kampung. Walau masih dalam satu desa. Kami saling mengenal hanya sebatas tahu nama dan wajah. Itupun karena saat pergi dan pulang sekolah sering kebetulan naik angkutan umum yang sama.
Aku tak pernah menduga bisa bertemu kembali dalam situasi seperti saat ini. 
Dia telah menjadi orang yang benar-benar berbeda. Seorang ukhti shalihah yang berani memakai pakaian kekurangan bahan, terbuka di sana-sini.
Mengejutkan, menakjubkan juga sedikit membuat bulu romaku berdiri. Ada apa dengan Tiara? Tragedi kehidupan model apa yang telah menimpanya hingga bisa mengubah dirinya sedrastis ini.

SRK's fan had huge expectations from the film but none of the expectations were met after the release. The movie was a non-performer at the box office.

Nevertheless, Zero has seemed to be making up for the losses and is now doing considerably good on television.

In fact, reports state that Zero premiered on TV with a record 9.2 million impression, and following this the film also recorded a staggering 3.9 million impressions in a single month on other paid streaming platforms.

After its success on the television, the question arises that why was the movie not able to do well on the silver screen.

For starters, Red Chillies Productions supplied the TV network and the streaming platform a different cut of the film, helping Zero to set new benchmarks in satellite and streaming domains.

Terpaksa jadi Gigolo di usia muda karena ayah yang tak bisa dijadikan panutan

Los Tanques de la primera línea formaron una defensa rígida e impenetrable mientras los jugadores de rango detrás de ellos comenzaron a usar sus habilidades AdA en los monstruos que estaban agrupados al frente.
Zhang Yang usó un <Barrido Horizontal> e hizo más de 3200 de daño a todos los monstruos en un semicírculo enfrente de él. Después con un fuerte pisotón usó <Fragor del Trueno> haciendo otros 444 de daño.

En esa situación caótica las habilidades y ataques sólo podían usarse por instinto, no es anticipación a las acciones del enemigo. Como Tanque, él debía mantener su posición firme, sin moverse. Necesitaba asegurarse que ningún monstruo pase por él y amenace a los que estaban detrás. El número de monstruos era como un tsunami en el océano. Ninguno sabía exactamente cuántos monstruos estaban detrás de la primera línea. ¿Cuánto podía soportar un sólo Tanque? Sólo un batallón de Tanques podía resistir.
Aunque los monstruos alrededor de Solitario Humo del Desierto e Ira Carmesí eran bloqueados, no todos los jugadores eran tan fuertes como ellos. En otros lugares del campo de batalla, los monstruos ya habían penetrado la línea de defensa de jugadores, enfrentándose al ejército NPC.

Sólo con <Barrido Horizontal>, Zhang Yang ya estaba a nivel de los Hechiceros y Cazadores con respecto al daño. Agregando <Fragor de Trueno> y <Onda Expansiva> a la ecuación Zhang Yang excedía sus ataques y se convertía en el más fuerte de todo el campo. Obviamente estaba en primer lugar en la lista de contribución y sobrepasaba por lejos al segundo en la lista.

—Esto es normal, mira cuantos jugadores tenemos ahora. Si el jefe no tenía tanto HP moriría en 2 o 3 segundos —dijo Zhang Yang riendo.
El Gordo Han asintió. El número de jugadores participando en esta guerra podía fácilmente ser más de 2.000.000. Sin embargo, no todos podían dañar al jefe desde donde estaban. A lo sumo solo 100 o 200 jugadores podían atacar al jefe al mismo tiempo. Seguía siendo una muerte rápida.
—¡Tanque novato! ¡Vayamos a matar al jefe! —gritó Wei Yan Er.

Detrás de ellos había 10 o más sanadores apoyando a los Tanques. En segundos, Chamán del Cielo pudo atraer el aggro del jefe y los jugadores de rango de Cielos Altos empezaron a atacar. Los jugadores melee todos se quedaron atrás preparados para ser atacados por el devastador AdA del jefe.
El jefe tenía unos buenos 600 puntos de defensa, no sólo eso, también tenía una defensa mágica similar. Incluso con 5 capas de <Agotar Defensas> en él, la mayoría de los jugadores ya fueron reducidos a 40% porque su equipamiento era Verde/Cobre nivel 40 y el nivel de sus personajes apenas 45. Su daño era sólo de más o menos 500. Esos jugadores con un nivel de equipamiento estándar era la mayor parte del ejército. Después de todo, no todos podían conseguir equipamientos Gris/Plata nivel 30 o 40.

El HP de Bangla era demasiado para ellos. Incluso con varios cientos de jugadores rodeando al jefe, la barra de HP bajaba muy lentamente. Chamán del Cielo claramente tenía el aggro del jefe firmemente pero aun así podía lanzar un hoyo negro a la multitud de vez en cuando.
Cuando el HP de Bangla se redujo al 30%, Chamán del Cielo ya había perdido cientos de jugadores. Sin embargo, si no había ningún incidente, el jefe eventualmente caería ante Cielos Altos.

Zhang Yang era un jugador profesional en el primer y más fantástico juego que revolucionaba el mundo: El Milagro de Dios. Un juego en el que, el conocimiento tradicional de los RPGs ya no importaba, los jugadores tendrían que apuntar y evadir los ataques manualmente, dando lugar a una brecha significativa en la habilidad entre un jugador profesional y un aficionado. 
La caída de Zhang Yang llegó demasiado pronto. Le robaron a su novia, su clan fue acosado y disuelto, ¡e incluso fue arrastrado a suicidarse! Saltando del último piso de un hotel, Zhang Yang sintió en ese momento que volaba como un ave fénix. Poco sabía él que el fin de su vida también significaba ¡su resurrección desde las cenizas!

It got more clearer, and Detective Khan kept on smiling after all the informations he had heard, especially that he deducted most part of it. Meanwhile, the three weren't able to utter a single word because they wasn't expecting to this to be happened and the fault in this was Caleb. He was the one who had bad intentions and the one who killed Zoey's grandfather.

When Zoey mentioned about the photos that was sent by Caleb, that time Detective Khan revealed the photos she was mentioning. He found it on the crime scene and kept it without telling anyone. So, it was a surprise to them when they saw the photos. It's a certain evidence that Zoey was telling nothing but truths.

"Good job, little devil. You told all this with composure." Detective Khan said.

Zoey didn't respond, in fact she was trying to get used to his endearment that she doesn't even understand why he keeps calling him 'little devil'. She thought that maybe on that day when they first encountered and he called her 'little devil' was because he knew it was her and thought that it was a murder crime. But that didn't seem to be the case because he sided no one. He just wanted to investigate the mystery by himself, that's it. 

She looked at the detective's long silver earring. She was been glancing at it 'coz she realized that he's the same man that her grandfather talked about the day before the incident, and she wanted to ask him about it but on the second thought it might be very personal if she brings it up.

"You can ask me anything, little devil." the detective said as he saw through her coz he noticed that she had been staring at him.

"Uh... It's just that, after the day you went to meet my grandfather was the day he got killed. I thought that maybe Detective Khan was part of it, because Caleb told me that someone told him a lie to ruin grandpa's reputation. So, I've been thinking that it might be you." she said without hesitating.

It triggered Mario, "Hey, do you have a proof to declare that?"

"No, I don't have. Besides, it's just an assumption."

"But how can you think something like that? Detective Khan is not harming you or anyone in here."

"I know." then she looked at Detective Khan, "What made me think of that is because I heard everything what you've talked with grandpa." she said.

But it just made the detective giggled.

"Ahaha... If that's so then, it's normal. You were so young that time. And to clear your suspicion, no. I was not part of it, little devil."

"Well... It's a good thing. At least now I know."

"If you're now thinking of who is that man then, he's in the jail."

He said which made Zoey stun then, he put a paper illustration of a man. Everyone got so shocked when they looked at it, except the two detectives. While Nami jut got a little shocked because Zoey already told her about the man in the illustration. 

"You all know him well. An excellent actor, isn't? His real name is Doc. Brock, one of the doctors who participated on making the cure of the 'Bloody Curse Case' 13 years ago."

"Oh, that! We were so small that time but I've heard of it so many times 'coz elders always talked about it." Aries commented. 

"Yeah, and they said that it all thanks to a goddess because her blood was the cure, which I did not really believe." Agatha said. 

"It's very famous. Even outside this palace, I've already heard news about it." Nami 

"It's good that you all know. And that 'goddess' you mentioned is Detective Khan's sister. She was totally used by those bastard doctors and scientists, but one of them escaped her. And that was Zoey's grandfather. So, this Doc. Brock left the palace when Prof. Clint succeeded on making the cure by himself." Mario continued on explaining. 

They again got shocked to know that it was Zoey's grandfather who saved the whole palace, even Nami was shocked. They all looked at Zoey when they felt bad towards her because now they understand what she had just gone through all this time. 

"Doc. Brock was the one and only who created this mess. He created the virus and brainwashed me to get my sister since I was dumb that time I had high hopes on him, even though Prof. Clint was close to cure my sister. His reason to all of this was to get attentions and the title. It's all planned by him, creating an uproar in the palace then saving it after. But he failed because he made a mistake, and Prof. Clint was the one who successfully made the cure, and so, he told lies about him at Caleb that led to your most hateful day."

No one responded and stayed silent after Detective Khan finished the explanation.

"Now that the truth and all the mysteries have solved then, do you want to meet this man? This Doctor Brock that hid himself in the identity of Mr. Howard."

Zoey didn't say anything. Yes, it is still a shocking to her but at least now everything is clear. She felt like her mind just get some peace after all what she heard. For some reason, she felt that it's the time to start again. And having that thoughts she closed her eyes and saw an image of her grandfather smiling at her. 

But suddenly the image changed and saw herself standing in the darkness field. 

| I want to talk to him... That man... Let me at least talk to him, Zoey. |

She forcefully opened her eyes to get free, but she felt a tremendous pain in her head. It was trying to control her out of her will. She grabbed her arm tightly where she used to hurt to fight the darkness. She can't let it do what it wants no matter what. 

Detective Khan noticed that and knew already what was going on her, but he didn't alert everyone. Instead, he grinned. 

"By the way, I have one more question for you, little devil." he said that got everyone's attention. He didn't wait for her to respond. "What happened that night, seven hours of time before Caleb's death?"

"I-I... I don't remember.." 

"You forgot? Why?" 

"H-Hey, Detective... I don't think it's a good thing to ask that." Nami stopped the detective when she felt like he's trying to dig Zoey's memories to remember the most horrible nightmare. 

She was about to get near at Zoey when detective Khan stopped her, "Stop. From this point, don't get near her."

"Huh?"

Everyone were confused including the two apprentices, but Detective Khan didn't give attention to it and averted his sight at Zoey. 

"Why can't you remember?" he asked again. 

"I don't know..."

"Why?"

"I can't remember."

"You killed him right? Then, why can't you remember."

"I... I killed him but... I can't remember."

"Why?"

"I... don't have memories of it..."

"Because?" 

"Because... I... She..."

"She?"

But Detective Khan felt shivers when Zoey glared at him. "Don't test the monster inside me, detective."

"This is nonsense. Just what are you trying to-----" 

Aries couldn't continue what he was trying to say when he caught something very bad inside of Zoey. He got an idea of what the detective's trying to do, but he wasn't sure and he didn't want to think about it because it's dangerous. But he was right after all, and the detective succeeded on making the devil to control Zoey's mind. The question is, why? 

They all got stunned the moment the dark smoke came out through Zoey's body, then they witnessed how she transformed... Into a real human devil. Her clothes changed to a red dress, her hair grow longer, a black marks forming on her right arm to its back, pair of grown devil horns grew on her head, and her eyes turned to red. Zoey's devil form gave an intimidating vibes. The more they looked at her the more they felt like she's dragging their souls out of their body. 

The problem is... They couldn't take off their eyes on her. 

Especially, Aries... He wasn't even blinking. It's the first time he witnessed something like that, and Detective Khan couldn't stop smiling as he never felt satisfied as he was at that moment. 

"Should I be thanking the detective for helping me, hmm?~" 

Goosebumps all over the spine was what they felt as soon as she spoken. Her voice is too deep and cold. It was like it's not Zoey who just talked but someone else. 

"No need for that. Now, can you answer the question? How did you kill him?" 

Surprisingly, Detective Khan didn't seem to be affected by her aura. In fact, he could withstand it and even interrogated her. Zoey's devil self let out a slight laugh because his actions was amusing her. 

"Hmm~ Let see... Oh, wait. We need to demonstrate it."

"Ahaha... That's a terrible idea."

"Oh, I don't think so. You can volunteer if you want----no... I suggest you do the Caleb's play~"

"You sure want to kill me, right?" 

"There's no denying on that~ I can kill some trash like you and everyone in here."

Silence devoured them. All the amusement on his face were gone because of what she said. He became serious as he thought that this is no longer satisfy him, it became troublesome to him because of the situation. He took a glance at everyone as he could feel the tension on each one of them. 

'Really, troublesome.' he said through his mind. 

"So? Did you decide?" 

"Whether I decide or not, my answer still remains to no."

"Hmm... That's too bad. How boring----ack!" 

They got stunned when she suddenly acting in pain. It must be the real Zoey trying to get her back. 

"Fine, fine. I get it. Ugh, one day I'll make you gone for sure then, this body is all mine."

And just like Zoey. The devil self was acting like she's talking to herself. She looked back at the detective that was smiling. 

"You're lucky that I have a very hard to please owner. Ok, I'll answer your question."

"Go ahead."

"That man was really hungry on this body. The 'Lust Devil' was residing him so, he was totally a crazy trash. When I finally got a hold on this body's mind, I pushed him by wind force and hit his head on the wall really hard. That was amazing 'coz that's how he died."

"That easily? That's really amazing."

"I know right. He's dead at that moment, but his body was being controlled by the devil. I had no choice but to hurt his dead body again, which I liked. He was going wild which really annoying so then, I scratched his whole face with a broken glass and gave him a fatal blow on its chest and head to get the devil out of it. When it got out, I sucked it. The end~" 

Everyone got speechless. They just looked at her as she was slowly closing her eyes while smiling. 

After few moments, Zoey got back to normal and immediately opened her eyes. 

"Wh-What happened... *gasp!* I didn't harm anyone here, right? Is everyone alright!?" she panicked despite of not remembering anything what just happened when her darkness was controlling her.

She was stuck the whole time in dark field but even in that state she fought and reacted, which resulted to the strange actions of the devil self. 

She raised her head when someone touched her shoulder, then she saw Detective Khan passed by on her.

"We just had a great time of talking. No worries, little devil." 

She immediately stood up, "W-Wait..." she stopped them from leaving the room. They turned and looked at her.

"Your sister... Grandpa was feeling bad when he told me about it. He regretted so much for not being able to save her, but he never lost hope that you might give another chance of entrusting her to the people once again... And the reason why he suggested you to do that was because there are people there that can be trusted and that he was willing to go there.. Even though, grandpa lost his eyesight and even got killed... I'm sure... I'm sure he's still regret it..." Zoey said while her head was down.

She didn't know what to do or even had the courage to look at him in the eyes. She just felt the urge to tell him this. This might be the last chance for her. 

But she heard him smirked. "What are you blubbering about as if like my sister is dead. You're not just little devil but also stupid. Nothing compares to your devil, ahahaha." he said then he started walking again, but she saw Bea heaved a sigh and approached her. 

"W-What do you mean...?" Zoey stuttered, but then, Bea started hugging her tightly. 

"She's with us the whole time and even defended you in the massacre case yet you didn't notice. Really, mentor Khan is always right." Mario said in disappointment. 

Zoey slowly looking at the blonde girl who was hugging her at that moment. Then, Bea released the hug and smiled at her. 

"I never gave up on living so that I'd be able to meet you. I followed my ice brother and helped him to investigate Prof. Clint's murder case, and believed that one day we could meet. That is the only way I can do to thank him for everything, Zoey."

Her tears fell down as she hugged Bea tightly.

The large screens were showcasing all 20 contestants of the five countries and one after another their introductions were made before they entered the show First came to the US contestants Megan Covington horror movie director and Conrad Hills infamous YouTuber, son of a billionaire William Hills, followed by  India Anjali Reddy, actress and Diljit Gill Punjabi Rapper and singer, then U.K contestants August Kent, actor and Sophie Miller, writer, from Japan Keiko Nakama, producer and Eita Oguri, T.V. anchor and finally came South African Adam Birrel, cricket player and Brenda Rauch, singer.
The hosts of the show met with every contestant in the dining hall which was beautifully decorated with all the chandelier, beautiful dinner sets and toy trains to serve the food, on the other side of the hall there was a podium, while everyone was settling themselves, there was bang sound and the podium curtains revealed 20 people, seeing them contestants and   audience felt that there must be performers or fans as many of them were waving hands, smiling and screaming, just  then the host got on the podium 
Nihal "Calm down everyone, so as you can see this time we have also gathered participants from the public without telling them about the show. Am I right ?"
Richard "Well you all can see you all are participating in the show none other than Game of Hearts''
The participants became excited and they were whispering among themselves, while the hosts made them seated in the hall, but one thing caught Balin's eye one of the females from common people. Balin ran to his dormitory room to take his phone seeing him run. His roommate questioned him, but Balin was busy browsing and then he sat down shocked.
Erin who had stopped packing looked at him with confusion after some while Balin sighed and signalled him that everything is fine. Though Erin knew he was lying he didn't question him after living with him for the past six years in the same dorm.
Tomorrow is weekend so both of them are going out, Erin to meet his friends and Balin as usual to his granny 's home.

[Dearest Asha,

I already got our passports but the plane is always full. I tried to bribe a ticket officer but he said he too wanted to leave the country but all outside travels are fully booked. He even mentioned that the government might temporarily stop the flights due to this country's situation. I'm afraid we can't come soon. 

By the way, Uncle Harry already understands that we are hiding something from them. I wish to tell them and I know he would probably have a solution for you but I think it is not yet the right time. I'm asking the people here about the possibility of moving the orphans somewhere but as of the moment, I couldn't find a good place for them. Also, no one would believe me if I tell them these orphans will be killed by their own sponsor if you won't show your face after two years.

If you see fit to tell them about this, I will follow your wishes. I miss you. I really miss you.

Labani and Asha went to church that Sunday morning before they went to Tarla's restaurant. This time the pastor's sermon was all about 'Anxieties.' The pastor started his sermon from the reading of the Bible.

"According to Philippians chapter six verses four to seven, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

If any of your here who couldn't sleep and worries filled your mind, ask God for his peace that transcends all understanding to guard you against getting depression or sleeplessness. As also said in Matthew chapter six verse thirty-four, so don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

"Give all your worries to God and trust him to help you …"

The pastor continued the sermon but Asha couldn't understand a thing the pastor said. Somehow, her Bangla bible was on her lap as she read the passage of scripture mentioned. Her eyes were fixated on the words 'do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.' Lately, her heart wavered that Ronjon could get a ticket after reading his letter. She even thought of disobeying her aunt and fly back to the country to be with her husband.

She prayed whisper-like. "God, help me, help Ronjon to get their tickets. Keep them safe always. Please, God, send them here soon," then as she opened her eyes, the words 'with thanksgiving' caught her attention and hurriedly closed her eyes again."Sorry, I forgot to thank you. Thank you for your help, God." 

Asha was not sure if she prayed the right words. However, she only sighed and said to herself, "I believe God can understand what I'm trying to tell him." She looked up the ceiling and imagined that God was there looking at her. 'Are you going to answer my prayer, God?' Then her eyes grew big and covered her mouth. 'What am I doing? How could I tell God that way?' She shut her eyes the third time and prayed earnestly. 'Sorry, God. I believe you'll answer me.'

They left the church and went to Tarla's Indian restaurant, Royal Bengal House. They went into the diner. Labani talked to a blond haired lady for a while and rubbed her forehead. She faced Asha and told her the situation. "Tarla didn't tell her staff that we're coming. Do you still want to continue?"

"Let's ask for Auntie Tarla, maybe she only forgot."

Labani asked the lady to tall Tarla that they had arrived. After the lady's sentence, her face grew heavier. "Asha, the girl here said that Tarla is away." Labani was losing her patience. "How rude. She told you to come and now she is away."

"We'll just wait, Auntie." Asha felt sorry for the inconvenience she gave her aunt. As she looked at the tables and food served to the guests, her eyes brightened, an idea came to her mind. "Auntie, let's go home first."

"Are you sure about that? She might think you've given up."

"I'll tell you my idea outside," Asha said. The woman entertaining them heard her words, and unknown to them, she could understand Bangla. She was intrigued by what kind of idea this young girl said.

As they stepped outside, "Auntie, teach me nice plating at home then I'll come back bringing my food for Auntie Tarla to taste."

"Well, I'm delighted to hear that. I thought you wouldn't ask me for help."

"I'm just shy to ask you." Asha scratched her head as she smiled innocently at her relative.

Labani flicked Asha's forehead with her finger. "Shy? Or it is just your pride telling you not to ask me. Humph." Labani laid her hands on her hips with one of her eyebrows moved up.

"Hahaha, I think both, Auntie." Asha laughed aloud as if all her troubles was blown away.

"Yeah, you really have mine and your father's gene."

Asha's forehead furrowed. "What do you mean by that?"

"Don't you know, girl, that our family has this crispy golden brown fried pride to ask for help?"

"Hahaha, I don't know but I can relate." The two laughed heartily as they strode away from the store.

Unexpectedly, Tarla came out of the door and saw the two. "Lily, what do you think of that petite girl?" She spoke to the woman who answered their queries.

"She's interesting. I like her patience and perseverance. She didn't give up that easily. I'm really intrigued about her idea too."

"Glad to hear that. Tell your brother Gael that we've met the girl he mentioned. I want him to be here when they come back with the surprise."

Asha is now on the brink of helplessness and despair. Would she let despair to chase her for the rest of her life? Thus, she faces the man who wanted her dead and to stand as a woman in the world of chefs. 

She will create her own dishes and make his father's recipes alive again. Her adventures lead to clues of the real killer of his father and get entangles with love. 

Somehow, when she is face to face with the murderer, will she forgive or not? The Recipe of Love will show her the right decision to make.

This is a story of a girl in her journey to become a lady chef while in life-threatening situations and falls in love. So, don't expect a fast pace cooking battles. It is Asha's journey.

The setting of the story is India before its Independence in 1947. The exact timeline is 1945. However, in the first part of the story, I didn't use during the British occupation since the places/villages I mentioned do not exist in the present country. I used Bangla words since the culture is more on present Bangladesh. 

This is absolutely a fiction story.

If you have questions about the culture, please ask me in the comment and I'll try to explain things to you. I can't write the culture within the story for that will bore you to death. Most are written in the Author's Thoughts.
