Some authors in chat talked about a book's worth. 

Most agreed that its value depends on the readers' willingness to pay for a novel. And the most selling here in WN are romance and h e n t a i.

Honestly, it is true in a sense that most authors who don't write these two genres or have the general audience receive lesser income to none. However, there are also other genres that are popular.

What saddening is that a story which has no s** will be buried deep in the list of books.

One time, a person told me that he won't read books without s**. I think you understand what I mean.

Sad... 

Those good literary authors will just choose Amazon. I totally agree with that.

But, is that what really makes a book valuable? So, the authors will just resort to writing stories with s**  since most will welcome it.

I feel sad if it is.

I've been reading and watching epic and classic stories like Mary Poppins, The Twelve Kingdoms, Fushigi Yuugi, The Vision of Escaflowne, Star Wars, Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, and others. 

These are great books but I'm not sure if the new generation is still reading them.

Hoping they are.

So, what is the worth of a writer? Of a person's storyteller's heart and creativity?

Will it just be buried deep in isolation? Will it just be following the flow of readership and abandon its desire to produce good stories?

I disagree. We still love good stories. There are still more readers who love good reads. In fact, these type of stories are more engaging and imploring. Those epic stories won't be called epic if no one reads them anymore. They are classified as such because their worth is beyond trends.

They simply go against the flow and create a tsunami, leaving people awestruck.

That is the type of book I want to write. I prefer to be remembered as an author who writes good stories without compromising the principles I believe.

Don't get me wrong. There are still good books with a bit of those s** things out there that you can read. But they don't focus on those scenes but on the story itself.

I am a person who never follows trends. And I care less what people call me. I will rather be true to myself than to follow the crowd and lose my self-respect.

In my opinion, the worth of a story is not only on the business side but also on how much heart and effort the author gives to his/her books.

To authors: Let us enjoy writing good stories. Let us be proud of what we write for not everyone can be authors. And not all writers can finish a book. The truth, most books here are unfinished.

To readers: Support good books and give the authors that confidence to continue writing good stories. Without your support, the authors might give up. If no one read good stories, then there's no point on writing one. But I believe most readers still love those type of books.

Gun-Ho was talking to Jong-Suk about the auto repair shop that he purchased for GH Logistics.
"It was used as an auto repair shop in Seonghwan Town. The land is 980 pyung large. The area including the first and the second floor is 260 pyung large. We will have to paint the building. They used to repair cars in a fabric building, and the tent is worn out. I'm thinking of replacing it with a PVC canopy."
"But you aren't going to repair cars there. Do you still need a canopy?"
"I don't know."
"I will go visit the place. It is really nice that Jae-Sik bro is moving to a place close to my work. It only takes about twenty minutes to get there."
"We have workers in our maintenance or production team, who used to do demolishing work, don't we?"
"We do, but we will still need to hire professionals to do the demolishing job."
"I know, but someone has to oversee their work."
"We have Team Lead Shin in the maintenance team. He said he used to work in a demolition company before. Maybe I should take him with me when I visit the place."
"They have a padlock at the entrance. The code is 4786."
"Got it. I will go with Team Lead Shin."
 
In the afternoon, Jong-Suk came to Gun-Ho's office after visiting the auto repair shop.
"I like it. It's not too big, and it's cozy. We just need to completely empty the space and paint the building and change some bulbs; that's it."
"Really?"
"We can just get rid of the workshop tent and install a PVC canopy to shield the place from rain or something. Also, I think we need to build a pit. Team Lead Shin, who went there with me, said the same thing."
"A pit?"
"Yeah, it's a hole in the floor, so we can easily go under a car. We can lift a small car, but for a truck or heavy equipment, we will need a pit. One pit should be enough."
"Oh, you mean the hole where you can get under for car repair, but we are not repairing a car there. Do we still need it?"
"Even though it's not an auto repair shop, you will still have to do the basic car maintenance such as oil change and tire pressure adjustment."
"I see. Well, let's build one then, so we are adding the pit work to our to-do list."
"There are some wall repairs to do as well, and the toilet doesn't flush."
"I will ask Jae-Sik to give you GH Logistics' business credit card, so you can start the work next week."
"Sounds good."
"We will hire professionals to do the job. Let Team Lead Shin assist you. You will be in charge of the work and overseeing their work."
"Haha. Sounds great."
GH Logistics would buy the property, not Gun-Ho personally, so Gun-Ho withdrew 2 billion won and deposited it to GH Logistics' bank account. He then made a call to Jae-Sik Moon right away.
"President Moon? It's me. I just deposited 2 billion won into GH Logistics' bank account."
"Oh, really?"
"When we make the second payment for the land next week, we will use that fund."
"Okay. Thank you."
 
Jae-Sik Moon checked the bank account. An amount of 2 billion won was deposited.
"It is really 2 billion won. I became a person with a bad credit score because I didn't have 30 million won. I lost contact with my father just because my father's credit score got bad because of a few tens of million won. If my family had a tenth of that money, our family wouldn't have had to be scattered all over the country without contacting each other. Why me? Why it had to be me who had to suffer from all these?!"
Jae-Sik had mixed feelings while he was looking at the company's bank account with 2 billion won, through his computer.
 
President Jeong-Sook Shin came back from Japan.
She came to Gun-Ho's office in GH Building in Sinsa Town to give a report to Gun-Ho about her trip to Japan.
"How was your trip?"
"Twelve Japanese cartoonists will participate in the cartoon exhibition that we are hosting at GH Gallery with their original cartoon paintings. Each cartoonist will send ten paintings. I couldn't meet all of the twelve cartoonists, but I met seven of them in person."
President Shin pulled out an A4 size original cartoon painting from her bag and showed it to Gun-Ho. Gun-Ho was impressed.
"Wow. So this is not a copy, but it is an original painting."
"That's right. It was drawn and painted by a cartoonist. It can smear your finger if you touch it."
"Wow. It is really very well painted. I wonder how much time they had invested in practicing in order to be able to paint this well."
"I've made a contract with two of the seven cartoonists who I met in person during the trip to publish their cartoon books in Korea."
President Shin showed a CD to Gun-Ho and smiled broadly.
"What is that?"
"All of their cartoon books are stored on this CD. We just need to print them out and translate their speech balloon parts into Korean. That's it."
"Oh, I see."
"Some of the cartoonists who are highly popular had signed a contract with large publishing companies in Korea already, so I couldn't get their work."
 
"How is it going with your artist friend who is doing her art exhibition in Yokohama City?"
"She has been introduced to Japan as the master of watercolor paintings in Korea, and her art exhibition seems successful. I think you will have your chance to taste her cold noodles in soybean soup."
Gun-Ho's heart started beating fast when he heard of cold noodles in soybean soup which reminded him of a house in Yangpyeong County and also the lady medical doctor.
"That's good to know."
"Fifteen out of thirty books of the world history cartoon series have been released and all of the Chinese books are being sold right now. The Japanese book, 'the person who wakes up in the morning' is being sold very well. The sale exceeded 200,000 books last week. Accordingly, I can pay you back your investment money of 300 million won that was used to purchase the publication right of the world history cartoon series from Amazon. I will transfer the fund by the end of today."
"Are you sure?"
"Haha. Even after I transfer the amount to your account, I will still have 900 million won in the company bank account. I guess GH Media is now self-sufficient. We won't need your financial support any longer, sir. I want to move our office to GH Building in Sinsa Town. Director Kang will notify me once he sees an office available for us."
 
After President Shin left the office, Gun-Ho thought that a publication company could be a lucrative business as long as it found a best-selling book.
"It can make a fortune in no time. It is a very attractive business. I guess President Shin will demand to raise her salary significantly during the salary negotiation at the end of this year."
Gun-Ho checked his bank account. Gun-Ho had 170 billion won in his stock account and 4 billion won in a bank account. He sent 2 billion out of 4 to Jae-Sik Moon to acquire the land for GH Logistics, and today, GH Media sent 300 million won to Gun-Ho. Gun-Ho now had 2.3 billion won in his bank account.

"Now, let's go into what I enjoyed about "Poems." This short collection did what many others have not, and what many short stories try to do but aren't able to do; it made me feel. I do not think D.S wrote either poem one or poem four for that matter, about the type of people I lost that I loved and that this poem reminded me of. This novella is quick, sweet romance. Kate was with her boyfriend for two years in a dead end relationship. A chance sighting at a job interview places Kate at her dream job and in the presence of her future. She meets Ernst who is seemingly living a double life. Fate draws them together for a HEA. The story was told from a third party point of view. It was very descriptive and the plot was clear and easy to follow. While you knew the plot and where it was going, at times the wording was very stilted, which could lead to some confusion when reading. This also made it difficult for me to connect with the characters and truly invest in the story.

A prompt from Byron to write a ghost story, she considered
Morning after morning when all she replied with a negative
It was from one of her wakeful nights, a story she would give

She saw her ghost fable in front of her eyes, with signs of life
She was frightened and spent the night in uneasy wakerife
She began writing her dream and it became "Frankenstein"
She realised that she had stepped out from childhood wherein


When two of her children met with unexpected death

She was ardent in the search for F Section's 118 missing agents
Ensured that they were widely recognized for their achievements
In the world of spies, the tight-lipped, outspoken lady was the boss
The Knight of the Legion of Honour was grieved with tremendous loss

They would receive 75 percent of that amount in profit sharing and the rest would be reinvested in the company, so Jake received $ 227 million and $ 700,000, and Matthew would receive $ 3 billion,415 million and $ 500,000.
Jake thought it a shame that Matthew was not confident in investing everything he had in Cisco stock like he would if he did that he could earn even more than $ 100 billion.
Of course, if he did that, they would have a significant percentage of the company's shares and that could interfere in the company's future when they sold everything, even so, Jake never intended to invest in Cisco again and just wanted to know how to earn as much as possible in 2000.
The biggest problem for Jake was that he couldn't just invest all that money in Amazon, otherwise, in the future, he would be guaranteed more than 60 percent of the company's shares because if he did that, the future he knew would change.
"So let's talk about the future of the company, we are developing the next digital camera putting the improvements you suggested, Jake, but this camera will not be as superior to the current one and sales will not be that good."
"That's right, in fact, the first camera that our company sold was just to let the market and consumers know about our company, this current camera is what we know how to do best."
"The technologies used in this camera were developed by our company and many components that are used to make this camera are also manufactured in our company."
"So the next digital cameras cannot be much better than the one we are currently selling, we have to improve its quality little by little and we have to be careful not to be overtaken by competitors."
Jake explained what he had already thought to Matthew and Oliver who thought it was true, after all, it was Jake who helped the company to have all these technologies much more easily, so it was reasonable that they could not improve much.
But that was not really true, Jake had the knowledge to greatly improve the technology of the cameras several times still until the quality of the camera is 8k, but many of these things were not possible with current technology.
So Jake thought it was best that they add things to the cameras that would make the customers they buy find interesting and that it was worth what they paid for, the real quality of the images would improve only slightly.
"Besides, I already said that we will probably sell just two more different models of cameras that will have such good sales, after that the camera technology in cell phones will start to appear and we have to be involved in that."
"This year, the current camera we have will still have a good sale, so at the end of next year, if possible, we can launch the next camera for a slightly lower price than the current one and warn in advertisements that the quality of the cameras is almost same."
Matthew and Oliver agreed with Jake, they had already talked about the business strategies they had and they knew that perhaps this was the digital camera that they would gain most from her sales.
In the next sales, it would not be so interesting anymore and those who already bought would not want to buy the new camera if the quality was almost the same, so they would have to depend on the company's brand to be able to sell a few billion dollars.
The other companies have not yet managed to make a digital camera that is as good as the previous camera they were selling, so they knew it would take several years for them to outperform their technology company.
In addition, Matthew had already submitted several patent applications and some had been approved on the components they created to make these digital cameras, so other companies will have to worry about making their cameras in a way that would not violate any patent or earn less by having to pay a commission to Matthew's company.
Jake was thinking about how to help Matthew in the future so that they could continue to earn even when smartphones started to be used, he already had several ideas that could keep Matthew's company leading the market for many years.
The problem was that some of these technologies were from companies that Jake wanted to be a partner in, so he would be stealing technologies from himself to help Matthew being that he would always have a 5 percent profit.
But that was something to think about in the future because for the next 5 years Matthew's company would still have products to keep making billions of dollars, after talking for a few more hours Jake came home.
Jake had raised more than $ 227 million with his profit share, with the money he received from selling shares of Emily's father and their friends and with the money he had before Jake had more than $ 242 million.
Seeing this with all the money Jake had invested in stocks he was proud of what he had achieved in the last 9 years, he worked hard to achieve all this and thus managed to accomplish almost everything he wanted before returning.
He managed to get his mother out of that bad job and made sure that she fulfilled her dream next to Anna who was a friend that Eva didn't have in Jake's past, and so she was happy in a way that Jake never saw in the past before to go back in time.
He had fulfilled his dream of running and still managed to win some marathons which were something he did not even expect, and soon he would fulfill his other dream of going to the NBA, having all that money was something he did not expect to achieve.
Jake just did the things he could do and didn't want to miss out on the opportunities he had, but he really hadn't thought what he would do with so much money after selling his shares in Cisco in 2000.
He certainly would not invest everything again because it would be very greedy, he would already have billions of dollars with Amazon guaranteed and would also earn billions of dollars by investing a few million dollars in future companies.
Even more, because he knew that money invested was something he could earn more in the future, but he could not spend and use what he wanted, it was the case that he wanted to buy a better car and could not because he was saving the money for the future investment.
So he would invest the current money in stocks and then take advantage of the money he earned from sponsorships and wages to do what he wanted, after 2000 he would not invest anymore unless he found an excellent investment in companies that were starting in the market.
Jake set up a meeting with Clara the next day to talk about the business he had and after that, he would have to talk to Emily the other day to tell her how much money he would invest in Cisco shares and how much money he would save for an investment that he had been planning for many years.
The year 1998 would be the year that another of the biggest companies in the future would start, the company Google would start that year and Jake planned to meet Larry Page and Sergey Brin that year and thus befriend them.
In early 1999, when they failed to sell the company to Excite's CEO George Bell, Jake would offer a large million-dollar investment in exchange for most of the company's shares.
He knew that if he bought the company or did something different the development of the company would be different, so when they thought about selling the company and Jake offered to invest for most of the shares it was obvious that they would accept.
Even more because Jake was someone very famous and the two would certainly recognize him, Jake would also say that he had invested in Amazon and so it was almost certain that this deal would be a success and Jake would guarantee a few billion more dollars.
So Jake always had to save a few million dollars without being able to use it, so he wouldn't have to sell his stock to make that investment, and the profit share of Matthew's company was not certain how Matthew could decide to reinvest everything in the company.
He would talk to Clara because she said that this year her company would also make a profit share for the shareholders, Jake wanted to know how much he would receive, he knew that this year Clara's company should have made a big profit because she was not trying to invest in company after Jake bought Robert's shares.
But before that he was waiting for Eva to come home because he had decided that he would talk to her about going to the NBA that year and leaving college, he was sure his mother wouldn't care about that because he would still finish college as had promised.
Jake made dinner because he knew that Eva didn't eat at the restaurant when he was home, he always worked hard in the kitchen when he was home because at university he never cooked because they lived in the dorm.
Jake prepared a four-cheese lasagna because he didn't want to do anything very special as they would have to talk about a serious matter after dinner, Eva arrived and was happy to see that Jake had made lasagna.
After a nice dinner talking about good things that happened at the restaurant with Eva and at the university with Jake, they went to the living room to talk about the most serious matter, Eva knew Jake well and knew that he had something important to say and was curious to know what it was.
Jake didn't normally talk about serious matters with her and always dealt with his own affairs, so whenever Eva got serious, she knew it was something very important for Jake to decide to discuss the matter with her.


A person who lived the life to the maximum even being a person with paralysis, always played his favorite sport basketball, even if alone, follow the story of Jake Smith to be happy with a second chance.
Jake who suffered a lot in his life, was unable to use his legs, lost his mother, was even more optimistic, before his death he received help from the fate that will be his system when he returns to age of 10, now that Jake can do it all over again, he will become a pro at basketball, and give a better life to his mother, and do everything he can to be happy

I am only putting this here to help you all out. This series started for a woman I was crushing on her name was Joann and we had great chemistry, I met her through a guy best friend, and as always she is straight but I wanted to make my books about us with the mix of my ex-fiance Stacy.

I'm sorry to say I can't keep posting my whole book on here or on other websites as the bots taking the books for reposting have gotten wose. I will post updates on the story progress here and will only post up to half of a book on here. The birght side is there are 4 chapters left to half way and I will post those after finals. Though it's not much of one.

I plan to publish the first book on Amazon in February of 2021 and the second should be about one year later. It will be a better edited version but the main story is still the same so you don't need to buy it to read book two it will also have art from a dear friend of mine in it (she is amazing at art!).
