Another mushoku story in which the Mc reincarnated as a rudeus who knows nothing about the world follows the same path as the original, learns magic, meets Roxy, meets the green-haired elf, follows the same script as the original only changing the personality of the protagonist
There no point to read this fanfic, it's basically canon with a non pervert protagonist, it's an extremely slow paced story, very boring to read, a total waste of time, the level of entertainment by reading this fanfic is about the same as watching paint dry or grass grow...

Mass produced plagiarized content with minimal difference from the original. The lowlife who wrote this sacrificed Zenith's character so he can stick to the plot, because not sticking to the plot would make him lose more chances to copy events, conversations, etc. in near verbatim. His ff Zenith, a millis worshipper just as the original, for some unexplainable reason embraces a harem situation because Rudy doesn't want Lillia to leave(?) Read another MT fanfic if you want a genuine read. The writing is only good because it's literally plagiarized content with small tweaks. It has nothing to do with the author's writing ability and he has already shown that his quality would drop to rock bottom as soon as he diverts from the original plot, because he quite literally doesn't know what to do after that. His own imagination and ability can only get him so far, lol.
Reading this book was disgusting. Firstly, the main character is irrational, stupid, indecisive, there is no craving for the knowledge of the new world. Constantly trying to find reasons for murder or violence. Extremely stretched and long chapters. there is almost no important information. For all the chapters, he lived to be only 8 years old. Given his past life, he should have been more helpful. The character is too weak. No personality development and extreme aggression under the guise of protection. My eyes bleed when I read this.
The author just basically copied the original LN format but this is more boring. No point reading this as this author will just insert a few "new" setting but follows the original work's story.
Glad to see one of my favourite authors here! Vain has a very attractive writing style, fleshing out characters and giving them time to interact and grow rapport - I find the writing of characters to be very humanising and convincing. As someone that's read a bunch of Vain's other works, it's nice to see them being spread to other platforms.
Slow romance, stupid protagonist, confusing story (if I hadn't read the LN it would have been impossible to read), as dumb as the original rudeus, cut lines and omitted conversations, stupid misunderstandings like wuxia, bad development, etc....
Welcome to WN, Vain! Hope you have a good time! Anyway, here's the review- Writing Quality - 5* - Vain's writing is one of the most fun and understandable that I've had experience of. And, as expected of him, this story is simply amazing. For a story that only has little chapters compared to other stories in here, I daresay the quality of it is simply superb. After all, I prefer quality over quantity. Story Development - 5* - It's not rushed nor is it slow. The pacing is just... that. Something you can follow and won't make you lose. The story is fleshed out too with little to no boring scenes as almost everything inside this is entertaining! Character Design - 5* - This is why I like Vain's works. He makes the character so fleshed out that you know and realize every person has their own set of unique perks that makes them different from other people. It's what led me to his other stories, and one that I certainly do not regret doing so. Updating Stability - 5* - Again, superb. For a writer that is updating multiple stories, the quality never drops and stay consistent. I only hope that Vain isn't pushing himself that hard. World Background - 5* - Same as character design, the world background is fleshed out too. Vain describes the world that makes it easy to understand so you can visualise it more clearly. ... it is not recommended It's basically the same anime story. just change the pedophile of rudeos for a fool with self-esteem problems stories like this there are hundreds and the only thing that differentiates them is a striking mc which they do not have
A good Mushoku Tensei fanfic. Good character development, no unnecessary time jumps. Good grammar and with quite a few chapters. The plot is slow but the quality content makes up for it
original is better. MCs so called genius is making him taking longer time to do magic. too much unnecessary details going in the magic theory.
I love how the MC is not mearly an OC/substitute following a original script but one that make different decision. Along with a different setup/beginning and character interaction that makes the story actually take a different(but imo better/happier) path than the novel. The novel is super fun to read that keep the essence of the novel we all know and love. Anyways we always gotta love an industrious MC with actuall character development. I might even be bold enough to say that it is the best fanfic(if not then one of) I have ever read. Can’t wait to see Rudy takes us!! :) :) :)
Very Nice, The character feels alive and every character have feelings and have reactions to rights, wrongs, and every change there is. Feels like reading something that is alive and not just words
Wow! Fantastically written, the kind of quality you rarely see in fan fics. Without going into spoilers, the author manages to write a unique and separate feeling story within the confines of the mushoku world. You still have the familiar cast of characters from the original story, but in my opinion, he writes them in a way that feels fresh. Highly recommend, just as good as the source material imo!
One of the best Mushoku fanfics I've found. Has a good story and character development. Although it has slow pacing it gets way better in the middle and the pacing makes me get attached to the characters more and the jokes are pretty funny. Rudeus in this one is very OP I don't hate it but I wished you spread it out more so it doesn't seem rushed but it's fine. Overall it is a good story and good writing. Spoiler Rudeus technically being the Demon God Laplace is an interesting concept I hope you expand on that in like Rudeus might gain his memories or something or be part demon I want to see his reaction. The Magical Arrays are nice and I want to see it more implemented in magic items and spells. Personal opinion but I think it would be better if you gave Orsted some more screen time. Rudeus not being pervy is also a plus for me :)

This is my honest review. I started reading a long time ago, most of the time it was to distract and disconnect, so now I have read many novels of many different genres, And I can say without fear of being wrong that there are very few novels that I have come to connect or more specifically immerse myself in the characters, some because it was too fast, others because I did not understand what the prota was going through (or the protagonist literally was a being without emotions or a cardboard pesonaje) or because the characters were not very deep or only followed the prota (not bad but, I think what makes a story memorable is to see that all the characters are 'alive' and that they are just as important as the mc), but that's not the important thing, when I came across mushoku tensei, at first I didn't like it, partly because of the personality of the protagonist, but it wasn't because of him that I stayed in the story, I stayed in that story because of the secondary/main characters, some with good development others that were only touched enough to get to know them, but even if they were only superficially touched they caused me to feel that they are alive and living in their own world. In my opinion I think what impacted me the most was the development of the relationships between the characters, at first I didn't notice it, in fact I overlooked it, but at one point I came to like them and came to understand them subconsciously, and seeing how ludy grew up was what hooked me into the story, I still remember how much I cried during the death of you know who, and also when he left you-know-who, those two events together with the various difficulties both emotional and the fights and their characters were what told me 'they are alive' just that feeling is what caused me to think about finishing reading that story, and this fan-fic is doing great, it is transmitting to me what very few novels achieve, they make the characters alive, many may not notice it, this may be for everyone but for me, who have read different stories since I was between 12 and 14 years old (currently 17) it causes me an impact, and even today it has been a very long time since a novel provoked such a unique sensation, for those who came across this story, I recommend it, although I understand that many do not like some genres like haren give it a chance, in the end it is not about how many women the main character has, but how they all grow together in one way or another. In the case of mushoku tensei it develops it well unlike others, in general both this fan-fic and the original novel are very good reads that I would recommend to read. So much for my opinion, both of the fan-fic and the original novel. (google translator)
Writing Quality is one of the better ones I've read on this site. story development needs some work as after 40 chapters, he's still a self depreciating character who puts himself down. Being humble is good but too much makes it terrible. Though other characters are ok. Character Design, can't say anything as they are similar to their OG counterparts. updating Stability, it already has quite a bit of chapters so I can't say anything about that. world Background, its very similar to the OG world with changes made to the magic system but you can't really call them changes as magic is omnipotent in that world. Not much else is added on or changed until after chapter 40ish when he enters the coma. As for my personal thoughts, The story in the beginning is almost word for word the same with some differences in actions and personality than OG Rudeus. At around chapter 40, he enters a coma for over one and a half years. It might have been explained but I called it quits there. Though i will state that it was something i wasnt expecting, just not in a good way. If this weren't a FF and an original novel, I probably would have liked it more. If you like mushoku tensei with a new perspective and a dramatic change in the middle of the story, go and give it a try. it might work for you and it was fun for a while. Author here. Thought I'd give my own review of the story up to the current chapter. Also since it seems that people here look more to reviews than the Author's note in a story. Before everything else though, this story is aimed towards people who've read at least the entire story of Mushoku Tensei. If you haven't, expect to be confused. I try to remember to explain things, but I'm running off a big base of knowledge that you probably won't have and that the wiki might not complete. Hopefully it's still an enjoyable read, but that's on you for going regardless. Anyway... it seems that my writing skills are so good people expected something completely original from the start instead of a fanfic roughly following the main story for a while. I'm flattered, really, but for a first stab at a fanfic for a series, that's just not happening. This is more exploratory than anything with a cohesive plot. While we jump off the rails of canon eventually (and boy do we jump off) that's not for a while in. The beginning of the story is more character exploration than anything plot heavy. And speaking of character explorations... This story isn't planned out. I'm not an author who likes mapping the entire story out... mostly because the many times I've tried that in the past, it's been a complete and utter failure. I have a few points in mind and a destination, but the story is pretty much unfolding organically from whatever pops in my head at the time. I'd like to think I'm a pretty good improviser by now, but there's definitely going to be parts that fall flat, so don't expect *too* much. I think that's part of the fun though, personally. As to the story itself... I'll say that looks are deceiving. I'm the sort of author who trusts in my readers to figure things out and/or enjoys the 'aha' moment when their guess about what's unfolding turns out to be true or when they get their expectations subverted. Of course, that's the ideal, but again, when you're playing by ear... Anyway. I try for daily updates, but I can't guarantee stability. Especially these days. I'm a third year law student heading into Patent and IP law, so there's inevitably going to be times when I sacrifice writing for IRL stuff. Not to mention the fact that my hourly rate is much more than anything I could get from writing or patreon when I start a job in my field... Yeah. That's just how it's going to be. Character design... I rate that low because I don't really 'design' the characters. I'm mostly just going off of my best feel, which could be off-base. There's no handy character sheet or whatever I'm working with, so I can't guarantee perfect in-characterness all the time, only my interpretation at the moment. As for world background, *cough*. Yeah. That's pretty abridged here, haha. Anyway, hope that clears up some questions. P.S. I'm a believer in freedom of speech, but I'm also a believer in consequences. I won't take it personally if you leave an honest review, but if it's clear that you're acting with malicious intent, I will act accordingly and yeet your review from existence. It's enough having to deal with clients and hearing the horror stories from public defenders.
