Adrian was terrified. Xiao Luo glanced at him as he moved his fingertip across the photo on the table, and said, "Were you admiring your work earlier, or were you reminiscing the feeling of treating humans as lab rats while you conducted your experiments on them?"

"This is science!" Adrian said, defending his actions.

Xiao Luo flashed a mocking smile on his face. "Science? I guess I don't know what science is then," he retorted.

"Genetic engineering is a form of scientific research that will bring mankind forward. Sacrifices in the early stages are inevitable, but as long as we can achieve some kind of breakthrough through these experiments, then the human physique and abilities will achieve a breakthrough on all fronts. This is an experiment that will benefit all of humanity," Adrian responded. He was like a religious fanatic with extremist views, and he had placed an inordinate amount of belief into his work.
