Marco laughed awkwardly, waving his hands. "You've put me on the spot, Lin. I don't have as many ideas as you."
The room knew well the man before them, who had a knack for achieving the impossible.
"If you ask me, Lin, you should make the decision. We're ready to follow your lead," Jozu's deep voice echoed, expressing a sentiment widely shared among the others.
Lin Yan, though initially reluctant to take on such responsibility, saw the trust in their eyes and couldn't bring himself to refuse. Shaking his head, he spoke, "It's not the right time yet. I suggest we hold steady."
"Hold steady? That sounds like a solid plan," Marco nodded, aligning with Lin Yan's suggestion. "We're not at our best right now, and the new Fleet Admiral hasn't been selected. Once that's resolved, we can plan our next steps. I agree with Lin Yan."
Lin Yan eyed Marco, slightly exasperated. "Seriously, Marco? You're the Phoenix Fruit user, Captain of the 1st Division. Can't you have your own opinion?"
Despite this exchange, Lin Yan's suggestion to hold steady was a cautious and reasonable decision. The Whitebeard Pirates needed rest and recuperation; they weren't in a position to confront the Navy.

In the World Government's central command, the Five Elders, the world's supreme rulers, were convening. They reviewed a letter from Sengoku, who had recommended Aokiji as the next Fleet Admiral.
One Elder scoffed at the letter, dismissing Sengoku's influence. To them, the Navy was merely a tool—a replaceable one.
Another Elder, however, pointed out the strategic implications. "The Navy's top brass are aware of this recommendation. To maintain control, we can't ignore it."
The others nodded grimly, contemplating the potential chaos this situation could bring.
"A little chaos could be beneficial," one Elder mused. "Selecting the right leader requires careful consideration."
"Indeed," another agreed, as the deliberations continued.
