Title of the book can be misleading. MC isnt building an Empire, he is barely building a city. The city is being build in the background without us knowing which I find terrible. Where the city building chapters or empire building??? Why the hell would he chill in other cities except the one hes building. It had a great start but everything went downhill when you stop focusing on character development and empire building development. I think the title is clickbait and false. Get back to empire/city building and focusing on leveing his city to see his GF from the start again

The level of the pact between Alexander and Laura has been changed from 200 to 1000. 2. The form of the Turkey has been adjusted from a dragon to a thunderbird. 3. The name of the top structure in the City of Hope has been changed. 4. Alexander additionally acquires a pair of very powerful eyes. 5. Karu forges a sword for Alexander, but only completes half of it. 6. Some character names have been adjusted and unified. 7. Clichés have been removed to make the reading more fluid.

Initially, I thought this was a novel about empire building, but it turns out it's not. However, that doesn't diminish my love for this book in the slightest. The plot is simply brilliant, with each event intricately linked to the next, spanning thousands of years. I've been thoroughly captivated. I'm eager to see the moment when Alexander and Laura reunite to confront the demon together. You're doing a fantastic job, please keep it up! I highly recommend not reading this series. It’s title was truely and utterly miss leading. A previous review was responded by the author saying it was readers who requested a OP character. Yet who puts a book series together to completely flip the series at the beginning to be nothing like the title. I’ve made it to chapter 150 and the MC does nothing related to building or development of a city or empire. It’s all magically in the background. The author has a systems, skills and level and they mean nothing to the MC. He does the same things over and over way over powered beyond sense. Everything falls on his head. On top of that we sit in others cities for more than 90% of the series and just hear blimps about his city. The system is pointless and so distorted it is completely wiped out. No actual build or development in the story either. It’s maddening and deceitful. I’m sorry but no excuse to walk it off on the readers. I wouldn’t have left this review but the author had the galls to place the writing style or storyline on the readers not themselves. Own up to your own work and the misnomer that this series isn’t what the readers thought.
