The next morning, Alexander woke up in his bedroom and saw Vivienne sitting on the living room sofa, lost in thought. 

She was holding a cup of some unknown juice, probably left here by Ella before.

Alexander sat on the opposite sofa and poured himself a glass of water.

Vivienne remained silent, focused on tasting the juice.

"For someone who's been kidnapped, you seem to be in a pretty good state of mind," Alexander said with a smile.

Hearing Alexander's words, Vivienne looked at him. After the energy inside her was sealed, the purple glow in her eyes had dimmed significantly.

Vivienne stared straight at Alexander, as if she wanted to say something, but ultimately she didn't speak.

In the past few days, her heart had been tormented immensely, even regretting not decisively fleeing that night, which led to such a miserable fate.
