The plot is interesting and somewhat unique. It borrows from tried and true popular themes and stories but adds its own spin to it. Initially, I had this novel reviewed at about 3.5 stars, but with the author's revision of their chapters making it a much more enjoyable story to read, I've changed my review as I said I would. I've edited about 9 chapters, ironed out typos and grammatical errors to make the book more enjoyable. So firstly I just wanna state that this is actually a good novel, could even be great. I have issues with a few things though. 1stly too much exposition, way too much exposition. This novel could actually benefit from breaking up and expanding the first few chapters to flush out more intricate details and better character development and such. I feel as though the Author loves this novel and has a great many ideas he wants to implement and it shows by coming off as if he's rushing the development of the story. There's a distinct difference between withholding information and slowly trickling it in after hooking the reader with great action beats and giving information dumps to get critical information out of the way. There are some grammar errors as well as spelling flaws, but by far the biggest issue is the exposition. Sometimes it even rips the reader out of immersion of the story. We gain information that could easily be told to us in more creative ways. Overall the author is creative and even though this is a systems novel, I feel they do a great job of utilizing it as a tool rather than the main focus. The main focus is the world, and there's thought put into this world, which is why the exposition drives me up a wall because you are taking away from truly expanding the beauty of the world. I know this may seem like a rant or bashing but I'm only being tough because you gotta gem here, slow down and polish that baby. If you establish that beginning right all that juicy tid bits i know your rushing to get to will pay off even more.

The introduction of the story setting and the Characters was nicely done with just the few first chapters that I have read. I was able to immerse myself into what is happening in the story. The writing style of the author is also nice. Other books tend to use so much unfamiliar and deep words to make the story more mesmerizing but this book didn't do that. It was at the right amount and it makes the story easy to follow and understand what is happening in the story but at the same time, still mesmerizing. Overall the writing quality of this book and the author is of a very high standard. I will make a review again about the Story Development after I read more chapters of this book.

I am back again to review a second time. World building was amazing. No info dumps, only smooth transitions to show you how the world in built and how everything flows. System elements are not boring, or taking too much from the focus of the story, rather int integrates well with everything. The Mc is calculating and a rational person, yet seems to enjoy the thrill of battle. Overall if you like fantasy, system, expansive and rich lore, this is a novel for you

If you like weak to strong, a little bit of a system, and grand scale then this is a book for you. Chapter are lengthy and fit in all the needed details. Descriptions are vast and MC, although a student, is not scared to fight and kill when needed. Gotta say this is one of the most interesting and best new novels I have read in a while. Will be following from now on. Good luck author!
