Chapter 27: Where was Max

"OMG!" Jenny screamed from inside, with anguish. She rushed to open the door but Mathias prevented her, "No! Not my child! Not the only daughter I have," she screamed and sobbed harder as she forced herself through the door.

It was getting late already. Though, the trees and woods around them seem to guard them.

No birds were chirping or any noise around, it was just the screams coming from Jenny.

Jessica couldn't quite put a name to what was going on around her. She felt sick and weak inside. And her arm hurt so much. Aside from that, a serious headache has set in.

Fortunately for her, something in her head was telling her she would live all of a sudden. Yes, maybe she would.

If she was still alive after so long, then she would. It would have been over an hour since she had been here if she wasn't mistaken. The zombies do turn after at least twenty minutes.
