The car Mike was traveling in speeded down.
Fortunately, the streets were quiet at the time, so the two of them could arrive at RKZ Hospital quickly.
"There's Miya!" Maya pointed at her twin sister, who was standing in front of the door marked ICU with her face down.
"I'll park first, you go downstairs!" pleaded Mike while smiling so sweetly.
"What would I be without you, honey," Maya whispered with a face full of pride.
"Yes, already. Get down!" Mike spoke harshly again, bringing his eyebrows back together.
"Sometimes soft, sometimes rough. Sometimes, it's annoying, but the seduction makes you swoon. Oh, this guy. If it wasn't for the fact that he's my father's friend's son, I would have boiled him a long time ago!" growled Maya, who immediately ran over to her twin sister, who seemed to be waiting alone.
Miya kept her head down and occasionally felt her stomach. She was shocked when Maya was suddenly seen walking towards her.
"Sister!" Miya looks so shocked.
"Where's Dad?" Maya asked and held out her hand.
"Dad's sick. He had a heart attack," Miya sobbed again, and Maya's shoulder immediately became a place to lean on her sister, who was so sad about this incident.
"It's okay! It's not the first time our father has had a heart attack, right?! He'll get better!"
"It's not that," whispered Miya, who continued to sob. Then, her legs became weak, and she chose to take a few steps back to a waiting chair in the ICU room. "Something is wrong,"
"What?" asked Maya, trying to dig into her sister's sadness. "Story, Sis! Let there be no lies between us,"
"No, really! It's my fault! Not a lie, but..."
"Miya!" called Mike, who seemed more worried about Maya's twin sister than his girlfriend. "You're okay, right?"
"What are you asking?" asked Maya in surprise. "It's Dad who's sick."
"No!" Mike looked at Maya, who did not accept the question. "I mean, he took your father to the hospital. So I'm afraid that he's got something wrong, too."
"What are you talking about?" Maya frowned again. "You guys have something going on, right? Come on, admit it!"
As soon as Maya asked her question, Miya's tears instantly flowed again, even though the sweet girl's face remained flat.
"I...," Miya felt her stomach again and then looked at Mike.
"Yeah, why?"
"It's nothing!" snapped Mike and chuckled. "She's perfectly healthy!"
"I didn't ask you, Mike! I asked my sister. Why do you guys always look so weird!"
"Are you Miss Maya?" asked a nurse, tapping Maya's shoulder as she turned her back to the ICU door.
"Yes, I am!" replied Maya, still angry.
"We want to talk to you, please follow me!"
"What's wrong?" asked Maya in confusion.
"It's about your father!"
Maya nodded and left Mike and Miya, who were still looking at each other in front of the ICU door, following the nurse who took her to a doctor's room a few meters away from where she was talking with her lover and twin.
The conversation had actually made Winata's eldest child know that something was being covered up between Mike and Miya, but because of this condition, she had to be a little patient to reveal it.
"Doctor, this is Miss Maya," said the nurse as they arrived inside the doctor's office. A well-built man waited for Maya with a worried look on his face.
"Doc, what's wrong?" asked Maya, who had consulted this middle-aged doctor several times.
"Your father had a terrible attack. Something bad must have happened."
"Bad things?" Maya sat in front of the doctor and grabbed the hand of the man wearing a doctor's coat with trembling hands. "What?"
"I don't know! Your father can't even make a sound because of this attack!"
"Oh my, is it that bad?!"
The doctor nodded slowly and then grabbed Maya's hand, which was his arm. "If you want your father to survive, please don't make any more news,"
"What? I don't understand!"
"No idea! I'm also still waiting to hear from the servant at your house who witnessed your father's heart attack this time!"
"Uh! This day is full of mysteries. I need to know what's going on!" said Maya as she punched the doctor's desk with her trembling right hand.
"Do you know anything?" the doctor asked softly.
"No!" said Maya and sighed. "First Miya, then Mike, now Dad. They must have something!"
"But what?"
Maya shook her head quickly. "I'll ask the people at home. They'll know what's wrong with the three of them!"
"Yes, you calm down first. I just don't want this heart attack to spread to you! Just calm down first!"
"Doc!" A woman entered the doctor's office without knocking and sat beside Maya with a gentle smile.
"Mum," Maya approached the middle-aged woman, her stepmother, and hugged her gently.
"You were home when my father had his heart attack, right?"
"Yes!"
"Good!" Maya smiled happily. "What do you know about this incident?"
"Your father knows that we can't repay our debt to the Araya family."
"Araya family?! That's Mike's family? Is it possible for them to make a big deal out of our family's late payment of debts when my relationship is fine!" Maya sobbed.
"Yes! They want the debts to be paid immediately, Maya. But since your father has been sickly lately, we've had to postpone a lot of business so we can't pay even 10% of our total debt!"
"Huh!" Maya was wide-eyed. She had no idea that the company her father had started decades ago was in such a bad state. "Why didn't I know about this?"
"We deliberately kept it a secret, you are still young and still have to go to school to be your father's right hand!" said Inayah, Maya's stepmother.
"So what should we do now?"
"They want the debt repayment to be accelerated!"
Rob's car sped down Ijen Street and then turned onto Kawi Street.
Fortunately, the streets were quiet then, so the two of them could reach RKZ Hospital quickly.
"There's Miya!" Maya pointed at her twin brother, who was standing in front of the door marked ICU with his face down.
"I'll park first, you get off!" pleaded Mike, smiling so sweetly.
"What would I be without you, darling," Maya whispered with a face full of pride.
