Aka stared at the woman in front of her and she could not recognize her.She had a smile that could light up New York City after dark.Now,her mom had dark circles and bags under her eyes probably from lack of sleep.But what broke Aka's heart the most was her mother's eyes,they looked...dead,like a light had been switched off.
