Chapter 13: We Did It
Y/N POV
Days passed by real quick. My training was going good. My vocals improved a lot as well. I also started teaching at the Seoul University. I went there in the morning and then I would go for training after lunch. I was myself surprised how I was managing stuff well. I made many new friends, most of them being idols from M.S. Especially W.A.O.! We got real close real soon. We spent a lot of time together at the company. They also came home sometimes, since my house was closer to M.S. then their dorm. They would come home for dinner sometimes. I made them some delicious dishes which were famous in my country. They loved it! They helped me with my training as well.
Soon the day came. The day of my debut. My first ever song was going to be released today. I am extremely nervous. "It's nice how you just took a month for your training to be complete! And we are releasing your first song already! Am proud of you Y/N!" Mr. Lee said. "Its all thanks to you Mr. Lee. Thank you for training me well. I still believe I am going to debut with M.S. Who Knew such a day would come in my life" I said to him. He patted my shoulder. "Its just the beginning. Your talent is going to take you places" he said.
I was sitting in the practice room biting my nails nervously. My song is going to be released in less then an hour now! Will people like it? No maybe not. But they might, its good. But still am new. So will people care? So many questions almost destroying my brain cells. The door suddenly slams open. A group of boys just come running towards me. Its W.A.O. "Y/N!!!!!!! Are you ready!!?? We cant wait!! Am sure people will love your song! Its amazing!" All of them started screaming together making it difficult for me to understand who is saying what. They all hugged me together. I felt good. Relieved.
Next morning~
Mr Lee POV
"What!? Are serious? No way! That can't be true" I said to the manager incharge of Y/N. "Yes its true! We just checked. The information is completely correct. Her song is already a hit. It is the hot topic on SNS. Everybody is talking about the "new girl from M.S." Her voice has done wonders. Everybody is loving it!" He said to me. I quickly picked my phone and dialed Y/Ns number.
Y/N POV
"Hello Mr Lee?" I said as I answered Mr Lee's phone. My heart beating real fast. Knowing what it was about. "CONGRATULATIONS Y/N!! You did it! I told you. Come to M.S. right away! Lets celebrate" he almost yelled on the phone. "On my way!" I said.
(1 week later)
Is this really true? Is this really happening? My song is actually a hit? People all around are talking about it! I really can't believe this. I thought to myself while the communication team was telling me about it all. About people's reaction to my song. "You deserve it all Y/N! You have worked really hard. And your vocals are a gift. There is a lot more to come. Let's keep working hard." Mr Lee said to me.
"Mmmm, tastes fine. It'll work" I said while I tasted the soup I was cooking. Tonight we are celebrating my song's success. W.A.O. and all other people from our team are coming over. They say they have planned a lot! I hope we have fun.
I am changing in my room when am alarmed by the bell ringing. They are here. I say to myself and go to open the door. As soon as I open my door, a figure just hugs me real tight. So tight I can't breathe. A female voice yells in my ear, "Y/NNNNNNNNN!!!!!!" we part and I look at her. "Eun Ji!!!?? Oh my god! What are you doing here!??" I said hugging her again. "Of course, I came to congratulate you!!! Actually, we, Heo Jun is here as well!" "Y/N!!!!" Heo Jun yells as he enters. "Congratulations!!!! We missed you so much!" He said while hugging me. I felt so good seeing them after so long. We chatted for a while and then others came.
I introduced them to all. Eun was flipping. She could not believe W.A.O. was right in front of her. Greeting her. Shaking hands and all. I had a tough time keeping her calm. We had a lot of fun. We danced, sang, played games, most of which I won and the boys hated me for that. We then had dinner. They loved the food. Like always. We also drank some soju. Actually not some, a lot! Most of us were drunk. Especially most of the boys and Eun Ji. They were going around blabbering, falling here and there. Heo tried his best to manage them. But he failed miserably. He was tired so he fell asleep. The team members were gone. It was just the boys, now. They were going to stay over since it was late. I was busy clearing things up. Jun was helping me out. Others were all over the house.
In a while we finished cleaning up. Jun went around collecting the boys to get them to sleep as it was late. I went to my room, assuming Eun Ji must be there already sleeping. But she wasn't there. I came out looking for her. Jun walked up to me asking where Han was. "I haven't seen him around for a while now. Don't worry, he didn't drink much. He must be sleeping somewhere. Have you seen Eun though? She is not the room." I asked him. He said he saw here in the balcony. She was sleeping on the chair there. I went to get, her and as I reached there, out of nowhere, Han came and hugged me. He was crying. I was really shocked. "Hey hey whats wrong?" I asked him pulling away. All he did was continue to cry.
