Chapter 32: Blood Eye
He stabbed it thrice before hearing the sound of kill notifications from his Bloodline system.

Roan slumped down on the ground weakly. He could not stand and had to put a constant energy supply for his injured leg.
"It is dead, it is dead" Jasper said twice in disbelief.
"I never knew intermediate tier beasts had such vicious skills. Even in its last breath, it could turn us all into paste" Lucas said in fear while recalling the pressure from purple aura.
Morris also sat down on the ground not saying anything, nether did anyone ask him.
Lucas also sat near the dead Ten eyes eagle and started recuperating.
Jasper did not use lot of energy, he was still able to fight. He looked at others recuperating and decided to guard them for a while.
"Is Roan's healing not working? Why did he not heal his leg and why is his fist deformed?" Jasper said while examining Roan's condition.
"Maybe he exhausted all his energy that's why he did not heal himself." Jasper thought
Roan was forcefully circulating energy in his leg but to no avail, It did not heal.
Stopping his leg from bleeding was the best he could do.
"My leg has only been bitten, it is not like it was cleaved into two. Why the hell can I not feel it" He said in frustration.
"I only have half of my energy and I don't know how long will I be able to sustain with it."
"Should I ask others to teach me a healing technique? But then how would i explain my previous injury healing." He was frustrated and could not come with a solution.
He did not pay any heed to the new notifications he got. He just focused all his energy into nourishing his body.
"The condition is getting better, at least I am not losing blood now."
"But to heal the injuries, I think it would take a day or two." He thought
"I don't know if I should focus on healing me leg or fist first. If I heal my leg then I can dodge attack but without my fist to attack, it's useless."
"I cannot just keep dodging, most of my attacks are fist based. I use kicks only when I intend to kill the beast with one hit irrespective of my body condition or injury."
"Now that I don't have a method to heal my injury then I am no better than a fast prey, that only when I have healed my leg. I don't know if it's even possible." He sighed in regret
"I should not have gone all out to fight the Red salamander." Roan shook his head in regret
He could not hold anymore and opened his eyes. He found Lucas sitting close to him with closed eyes.
He looked around him and found Jasper intently looking at him. Roan did not know who to ask but after seeing Jasper, he chose his target.
"Jasper is a Williams, they are all fire ability users. He must have a healing technique" Roan thought
Jasper also looked at him and felt awkward at how he was intently looking at Roan. He did not know what to say so he hurriedly asked what was in his mind.
"Is your healing technique not working" "My healing technique is not working" Both of them spoke at the same time.
The awkward situation not at all resolved but it became more awkward as both of them said the same thing.
"Do you have any healing technique to teach?" "I have a healing technique you can learn" Roan and Jasper spoke at the same time.
This time Jasper did not feel any awkward because of his words being understood without even speaking.
Jasper already taught Roan how to use energy to reinforce the body. That was why Roan did not mind asking for another technique.
It was not that Roan was unaware of how important these techniques were. But because he was the main damage dealer of the team, he could not just keep saving them while being injured.
Jasper also understood that Roan was the core of team. Before he taught him Reinforce, he didn't know Roan's skill or strength.
He saw that Roan was determined to practice the skill. Because of his sympathy and curiosity, he taught him the basic technique for Reinforce.
He did not mind teaching Roan another skill, after all it was all basic skills which everyone except Roan knew.
Roan was waiting for Jasper to explain him to use energy to heal his injuries.
"It is the same as how you use Reinforce. When you pass the energy through your legs, instead of covering your leg with energy dissolve it into your muscles."
"After you dissolve energy into muscles, use the same method and pass energy to your bones. If possible then try to mix a little of your energy into blood."
"Putting energy into blood will boost the natural healing speed of your body. It is very difficult to control it, so don't put any more than half point of energy into your blood."
"Mixing more energy than that will make your veins and arteries burst. If not needed then only use it on muscles and bones."
"From the looks of it, your fist also seems like shattered. In case of fist, you should mix energy with blood."
"Your blood vessels are all punctured and your Bone's also broken. You should slowly heal this, otherwise your fist will ge. deformed."
"Controlling energy on hand is more easy than other parts of body. You should still be careful not to mix more than half point of energy into blood."
Jasper stopped explaining. Roan closed his eyes and focused on what Jasper guided him.
He slowly pushed energy into his leg's muscles. The energy this time was not supposed to go out of the skin. He had to hold it into the passages through where energy passes.
He sent a little of his energy into his leg and began slowly absorbing the energy into his muscles.
"It is not difficult, it is similar to how one trains with sutra and tempers the body." Roan said
Jasper heard him and his face darkened "Easy your head, how can you learn it in first try!!??" he said in his mind
Roan used energy to nourish his muscles and then slowly pushed it into his bones.
His bone was not damaged except for some scratches on it because of Red salamander's teeth.
"It seems that an hour of nourishing my muscles in leg would be enough for me to heal the punctures in my leg" Roan said in relief
He focused his energy into his legs for another ten minutes. He was now used to the process and could continue nourishing his leg without being extra careful.
He continued healing his leg and focused on his shattered right fist. When he punched through the Red salamander's head, his fist was hurt.
Thinking of his shattered fist, he recalled the shock he felt after not being able to heal himself from his system bloodline.
He was purely dependent on his leveling up to heal himself thus neglecting to learn healing skills.
"My finger bones are not entirely shattered, it is just that there are numerous cracks in it." he examined
He did not further waste time and supplied energy to his fist. The energy passed through several passages and reached his fist.
He first healed muscles on his fist, he slow circulated the energy and healed his deformed muscle.
After few minutes when he grew familiar with nourishing his fist muscle then he absorbed his energy into his bones.
The energy in bone was only able to touch its surface. Energy could not fully dissolve into the bone.
It dissipated after only nourishing his Bone's surface for a while.
"I was able to heal bones in my leg easily then why is it difficult to heal my leg. I cannot even reach deep in the bone." Roan frowned
Still, he continued dissolving energy into his shattered bone. He did not know whether it was because because his fist had many cracks but the energy always escaped into it.
"The dissolved energy escapes into the cracks on my bone but I do not feel any energy escaping out of my body"
"Does that mean that first I have to heal the cracks? But how can I heal cracks. It is only possible to heal muscle and skin because of blood."
"But the process of nourishing bone with blood is more complicated"
He ignored the energy escaping through cracks and focused on healing the surface of bone.
He thought that as long as he healed the surface, the crack inside will naturally heal without any help.
He just wanted to heal the damage to muscle and skin. As for the damage to bone, it was easy to let it naturally heal instead of focusing on it.
He tried for ten minutes but the energy always escaped into cracks with no limits.
"OK then, I will just have to heal the cracks first" He said frustrated of the bone cracks.
He forced the blood mixed with energy to dissolve into bone. His bone quickly absorbed the energy along with blood.
He tried this few more times but the result was insignificant. It was negligible amount of recovery.
He put more thought into it then used two point of energy into his blood.
The energy in his body dominated the blood and caused imbalance.
Roan panicked but still pushed the energy to heal his bones. The energy in his blood was devoured by cracks and blood filled it.
The results were massive this time but he did not have much energy to sustain such healing.
He used one of the crystal stored in his carrying bag and started absorbing it.
He did not remember earlier but the process of dissolving energy into bone reminded him of beast crystal.
He used beast crystal to increase his stats which also recovered his energy.
If anything, he could at least recover energy. He did not even care if he would accidentally reach Rank E.
He did not use system to absorb the beast crystal and ignored the direct absorb option from system.
Energy filled up his body and his body also started naturally healing.
"That's it, i did not even think that absorbing a beast crystal could heal my injuries" Roan said in relief
He was happy that he would directly be able to heal his body just by absorbing energy.
He used five minutes to absorb energy from the beast crystal and directed the energy to heal his injuries.
His injuries healed in only five minutes making him reach his peak body condition.
He stopped using the beast crystal and put it back into his bag.
"it's best that i did not reach Rank E. After all I struggled a lot just to save my stats" He thought
Speaking of system he remembered the notifications he received.
When he killed Ten eyes eagle, he obtained a skill named blood eye.
He did not check it out earlier because he was in hurry to heal his injuries, but now that he recovered, he,quickly opened his system.

Nevertheless, he did not care for the name of skill. He only wanted to check out the skill as soon as possible.
He looked around to see if he could spot a high altitude to see without being obstructed by the trees .
He quickly found a high tree and climbed on it.
