Chapter 1: Chapter 1:Alleyway
In the middle of the dark and gloomy night, there was an alleyway in the corner that the locals would never visit. It seems that there was a legend that during the nights sometimes people from the other dimension ghostly dimensions would come to have a ritual there. Many people have gone to investigate it but... In the end, none of them returned. It was like they had just disappeared into thin air.
Today was one of those nights in that abandoned alleyway, every once in awhile, there would be a blood-curdling scream that could make anyone's blood turn cold.
Deep inside the alleyway, there were tons of cold bodies and blood splattered all over the place. It was full of different body parts scattered all around the place.
In the middle of this gory mess, there stood a frail-looking little girl with an emotionless look on her face, the white clothes that she was wearing were now soaked in a blurry red. Her dark blue eyes had a type of craze that would make any normal human piss their pants. In both her hands she held 2 longswords that too were dripping with blood.
"Aira" she suddenly called out. The next second a strange creature who more than twice her height appeared in front of her. Its body was covered with pale silver fur, it had a pair of bright silver wings and alluring purplish-blue eyes that shined like the stars when the moonlight fell on it. It also had long and sharp looking claws, which seemed as if it could easily slice through steel as if its a tofu
"soo.. How many of these pigs were able to kill this time huh?" seeing Aira appear she asked this question with a brought smile on her face as if it was the most natural thing for her to do.
"97" she replied while yawning.
"tch... It seems like I got 96, one less than you then, it's all these pigs fault that they were less in numbers. If only they were a little more in numbers I would have easily won, isn't that right, Aira~?" she complained and said in a spoiled tone.
"it's amazing... How you can switch from your killer mode back to your cute little girl mode I mean, " she said in a deep and mature voice.
"Hey, it's not my fault you know, if anything, then I want to stop killing others, but these rascals never stop coming at all!" she said pointing at one of the corpses lying near her feet.
After a while, she continued in a soft and low voice with her head down "I only ever wanted to live a normal and peaceful life. I never wanted to be sold to the organization by my parents just for some trivial amount of gold. The organization anyways just treats me like a killing machine whose only purpose in life is assassinated. I guess the only thing good that ever happened in my life was meeting you and becoming friends with Akari"
Hearing Celestia suddenly speak of the past Aira couldn't help but just stare at her as if she said anything wrong it might have an opposite effect instead.
"Alright! Enough of the sad and gloomy past!" saying this she went back to her playful self, but Aira knew that she was just putting on the facade but she didn't perceive the matter any further and just changed the subject"So what are you going to do? Go back home or still roam other? Though knowing you, you'll choose the first one."
"Ofc I would, Akari is waiting for me, you know, if I don't go home soon, then she might go sleepless this night, after all, you know, she is less like my friend and more like my mother, " she said with a sigh.
" so do you hate her for that?" Aira asked with a curious face
Celestia just gave her a dirty look saying "if I hated Akari for such a small reason than I would have abandoned you ages ago you unknown-annoying-hybrid species"
"how cou--"
Before Aira could say anything more Celestia cut her off saying " But I am thankful to her, though, even though we have no blood ties she treats me like a family, even though we quarrel sometimes, she always comes and apologize even though it was all my fault just like a big sister would."
"I really am lucky to have such an amazing person in my worthless life. If not for her, who knows I might died ages ago. No person can ever dream of reaching her level of importance in my life, " she said in a tone that was sweet as honey and brightest smile she could muster.
Hearing this Aira made a face full of grievance saying" no other person can even dream of reaming her level of importance in your life huh..... I am heartbroken."
Celestia just scoffed and said "Your no person Aira..... though you can say that no other animal will reach ever Aira's level of importance as well," she said winking at the end of her sentence.
Aira's face bloomed and suddenly had a reddish shade, seeing this Celestia just smirked and said "So then my dearest Aira, shall we head home"
Her face grew even redder as she stuttered out with great difficulty"no-off co-cor-course"
Celestia just smiled brightly thinking 'how cute~'
