Chapter 71: I'm Sorry, Wendy

"Wendy, do you think my brother will come over and stop us?" said Christian as he smiled faintly at the cameras while dancing with Wendy. He looked like an elegant and gentle young man.

Wendy ignored his question, because she knew that she had lost the moment she offered her hand to Christian. If Michael remained on the phone then, it meant that in his heart, Yvonne was more important than both her and Christian. 

She thought, if Michael only hung up because he saw me dancing with Christian, it can only mean that I'm not significant to him in the first place.
