Synopsis

I always wanted to live in a fantasy world.

Not just wanted, I needed it. I needed to live in an unknown world, to go on some adventure, to do something extraordinary.

It was a dream that I was willing to do anything to accomplish.

Now, standing on the precipice of the brutal new world as the last surviving member of the Trieste Family, I will have to ask myself, was it worth it?

This is the story of Harper Trieste, a self-proclaimed fantasy aficionado, trying to navigate his way through a world that is nothing close to what he imagined.

Authors Note: This is a passion project that I am doing for fun, however, I am going to try and update it daily, releasing a chapter of some length. Feedback is appreciated, thanks for looking!

God-tier is an insult to this masterpiece. I have always disliked fantasy stories with a lot of "plot armor" or "plot convenience". This story on the other hand, foreshadows a rich and interesting world which is realistic and brutal. Honestly, i cant explain why i love this so much, but just try it. It's, in my opinion, amazing.

All of those who peruse this site in search of entertainment have precisely the wrong mindset. While I was once one such oblivious wayfarer of webnovel.com, this story has brought to me the escape from Plato’s metaphorical cave, gracing upon my eyes the sunlight of a masterpiece. I have devoured the spiraling plotlines and carried the weight of the characters’ varied motivations, growing attached to the complex ironies of their beings. The reading I once considered a “leisure activity” has grown into a fixation on the unknowable mystique of this divine creation. I can hardly remember my life before discovering my purpose as a man of Wamlab. Those dismal days seem distant and dark, burdened by the wearying weight of ignorance. How could I not have seen that my life was a hollow husk, waiting to be graced by this wondrous wellspring of wisdom? I pity the philistines who have yet to be inducted into the brotherhood of Wamlab. How could they comprehend that which is unattainably far beyond them? Those of you who fear to be part of these unenlightened barbarians should rest assured, for even the unattainable can be brought within your grasp by the grace of Wamlab’s mind. It is as though he has transcribed the vociferations of a divine being and brought them upon us, like Prometheus’s gift of fire. To the vaunted creator of such an incomprehensible wonder, I can only say this: 1/5 please add more detailed descriptions of female characters’ bodies.

The story is of a first-person narration and I liked it. The pacing is just right and I love the story. The immersion level is insane and I can't help but feel the chill. Still, this is something to learn from. Hope more readers will come [img=recommend]

Oh my gosh! The intensity of the first moments really hook you into the story. Your descriptive details are a very nice draw in for a reader, brings you to where the MC is and I really love that in a book!

The synopsis hooked me! I want to go to another world as well but maybe not Harper's world XD. I'd rather read about it than go there. But author, I have to ask your MC, why did he have to kill his sister? Poor Aliyah. Writing quality is good and world-building as well. The plot is paced nicely, and the characters are interesting. I like that the story is written in a way that it's not info overload despite the new world concept. I'm interested to know more and how the story will progress. Keep it up, author!

Wow, super interesting plot. Well written, humorous and the ML is super relatable. I really like the way you grab the reader's attention from the first paragraph. Everything is well explained without making it too drawn-out or forced, which is great as there is a really nice flow to each chapter and readers are always aware of what is happening. Honestly, incredible! Good job :D

It was fun reading this. The dialogs are simple to follow and the characters are absolutely interesting. The book has a really great potential and i loved it. one thing that was not so great is the first person narration which I'm not a fan of, and the first few chapters were a little slow.

Took a while to reach the real meat of the novel, other world. Yet it was fun to know the background of the character. Need to read more to give a better review.

Amazing story I am hooked. The writing quality is better than most of the stuff I read in here. Characters are unique and distinctive. The world building was great, all the senses where used quite well. The Mc is somewhat realistic. Great work I really enjoyed this read and I can't wait to read more.

RECOMMENDED - I just added this to my library. From the very first chapter, the novel starts with a tragedy and ends with the beautiful description of brotherly love. I stopped there to post this review! The author says it's his 'passion project', well, the passion is evident in every single line I read. Looking forward to read the rest and then some more!

Just wow. Love this story! I thought this will be one of those boring cliché fantasy novels but I was wrong. As I was reading deeper and deeper into the story, I couldn't stop myself from reading more. The word background is satisfactory and the plot of the story is very fascinating. To the author, hope to see more of your work!

I was quite stunned at a certain point when I was reading this novel. Although I had assumed it was going to be the regular fantasy plot with the same overused plot but I couldn't have been more wrong. I am writing this review because I have reached that point in the novel where I realized that this is far more than the average novel. You can easily see how much work went into this novel which is why its so good. Keep it up author.

The author does an amazing job of hitting the ground running with this story. It starts off unlike any reincarnation/transmigration novel I have ever read before, and continues to be unique. It is refreshing to read and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new novel.

This novel shows how all of us who dream of living in a fantasy world may mot necessarily be what we’ve always envisioned. It’s a thought provoking and interesting novel from the get go!
