Everything was going according to plan. Charles didn't suspect a thing when they left for the human territory together with Catherine, Mille, and Millie.

I could finally get rid of her from his life and after that . . . I would do anything to bring Charles from the bottom of despair into my embrace.

If Vein could do his end of the bargain, then everything should run smoothly.

That's what I thought.

And yet, I found myself stuck in the border of life and death when HE showed up.

Why was he here?

He wasn't supposed to be here!

I only saw him a couple of times, and he never failed to make my body set ablaze. He was beautiful, and if he was not powerful and intimidating, many vampires wanted to acquire that beauty all to themselves.
