"Tired?" Devon asked, his hand stroking Leticia's hair, combing through the golden locks. Leticia shook her head, a happy smile on her lips, "No. I'm just actually happy I was able to withdraw the energy!" After they trained into the night, they'd sat in the garden, close to each other. Her head on his chest. She wished to hear his heartbeat though but then she knew it was impossible. He's a vampire. Still, she couldn't help but want to know if his heart beats as wildly as hers beat whenever he's around, near, touching, kissing.
"You did a good job, no doubt." He spoke, a small smile on his face. He heard her giggle almost inaudibly. Then, there was silence. The night wind wasn't too cold nor harsh. Devon's eyes were on the bright flowers, the golden lamps illuminating them at night. Fireflies roamed around, adding to the night beauty of the garden.
"How do I make you feel?"
Buckle up, y'all.
