Ragnar had not seen anything like that in his life. If it was any other time, he would surely be mesmerized by it. It was utterly beautiful and captivating. But this was not any other time and his son's life was at stake. Although he did not know what exactly was happening in the room, from Samantha's pale and lifeless expressions, he could discern whatever it was, was harming his son and his life was at stake.
Samantha too was shocked to see her Alastair lying motionless on the bed and she collapsed to the ground as tears gushed out of her eyes. Never had she expected to see a day like this. It had been barely some time ago when he had been teasing her and being playful with her. But now, he was almost on the verge of losing his life. She could feel it, his life being sucked out of his body slowly.
