Flint
If you never wanted me to feel like an outcast you would never have left me here for almost a year. I walked into the cave part trying my best to keep the fire inside. The door and walls of the room were several layers thick. I just let go at times when I am angry. The fire comes out from my entire body. It feels like rings of fire are coming out in all honesty that is badass. For me letting the fire escape when no one is getting hurt is a joy. The only downside is having your clothes burn off. I have to call dad now for some new clothes.
"Flint, I am highly busy with Alpha duties."
"I burnt through my clothes again."
I could hear my father sigh on the other line.
"I thought you gained control."
"It would be easier for me to control the fire if you haven't left me here for over a year! How can you even be considered a father when you barely see or talk to your own son."
I was gonna hang up and throw my phone but dad spoke before I could.
"You remind me so much of her," my father took a deep breath "it becomes hard to see you or even talk to you at times. I only see her when I look at you. You didn't inherit her eyes or hair color but you definitely gain her heart and personality." My dad was in tears by the time he finished and I was in tears myself.
"Can you just bring the clothes. I am good on food for another week."
"Flint, after you turn for the first time and can show me you gained control I'll let you entered the pack once more."
"Thanks, dad so I'll see you later then."
"I love you son. I'm sorry I do not show it as your mother did."
"Love you as well dad."
I hung up the phone.
I walked to the bed and laid down. I never really had many emotional conversations with my dad so when it happens they would hit me like a truck afterward. Maybe a nap will calm down my emotions. I fell asleep while staring at my ceiling.
I woke up to my dad shaking me.
"Did any of your bones break?"
I looked at him confusingly till several of my ribs broke making me cry out in surveyor pain. Not even a minute later both of my legs broke.
"Dad?"
I had tears in my eyes. I have not cried since mom died. I laid in bed confused from the pain.
"Your turning we have to get you outside."
As soon as my dad got me up my arms broke.
My dad had a worried look on his face.
"Dad?"
"Your turning too quickly for a first turn. You'll be standing as a wolf in less than an hour."
Dad had to drag me out the room. I was trouble to be dragged since I was a limp noodle. Several more bones broke while being dragged and all I could do was scream in pain. Once I was out the room I realized I sweating and the heat from my body was raising.
"Dad, leave me here and lock yourself in the room."
"But Flint."
"Dad, Just go into the room and do not come out for whatever reason."
"Flint?"
"Dad! I do not want to hurt you like I hurt mom so please go!"
My dad looked at me with sad eyes but quickly done what he was told. Once he was inside I let the fire out. I passed out from the pain.
"Flint, can you turn off the fire?"
I whimpered at my dad. I could hear him start to walk closer to me so I growled.
"Flint, you are going to be fine I just need you to turn the fire off."
I whimpered again. I was too confused in my wolf form.
"If you would stop whining and calm down maybe the fire would not be active. Also, you can shake it off while calming."
My ears perked up from the voice and I looked around but I only saw my dad. I had no other ideas so I took the strangers advice. After I calmed down, I stood up and shook. The flames went away in just a snap. I then barked at my dad seeing if it was him.
"Flint, you do not have the pack bond yet so I have no clue of what you are trying to say. Since you have turned and showed me control, you are able to be a proper pack member.
~ two weeks later ~
Glacia
I woke up from my legs breaking. The pain was so extreme I screamed and fell out of my bed. Mom ran into my room from hearing my screaming.
"Oh my God. This is too soon your birthday is not for another month." she then looked at me with worried eyes. Then her gaze went to the hallway.
"I can't carry you down the stairs," she paused "unless."
My mom left the room while my bones repeatedly broke. When mom came back she was an amber colored wolf with bright green eyes.
"Mom?!"
She picked me up by biting on my arm and throwing me over her back.
"I want to turn in the meadow. I feel safe there."
My mom just nodded then ran down the stairs and through the house.
Once we were outside my mom picked up speed by running three times as fast as normal. While running through the woods I fell off once and then two close calls afterward.
My bones were breaking quicker than a normal first turn. All this was scary but in a way releasing. I wrote my mom a note. I'm so sorry that I am leaving you. I have only caused you trouble. You were forced out your pack because of me. I never want to hurt you but I am scared that with this power could. Mom, I love you. Maybe one day we will meet again.
Mom laid down carefully in the middle of the meadow and slowly pulled me off her back.
"Mom, whatever happens to me I want you to find what I left in my room for you."
She only gave me a sad nodded. I laid my arms around my chest and covered myself in frost. The pain became easier to handle. In a matter of seconds, I fell unconscious.
When I woke up my mom was asleep. I stood up on all fours. I looked at my mom some more time then ran toward the woods.
"Glacia, if you are really running away you might want to turn the snow paws off."
I almost ran into a tree when I heard the voice. I perked my ears and tried to listen for anyone around.
"Glacia, if you are going to attack me you will be attacking yourself."
Then I realize I was hearing the voice inside my head. I never agreed to a pack bond so this was not another wolf.
"Maybe I should introduce myself first. My name is Khione. You will not be able to pronounce it so just call me Coin its close enough to my real name. I am your wolf."
"If I talk you can hear me?"
"I do live inside you so yes I am able to hear you and anything you think. Do you really think running away from your mother is a great idea? You are still twelve."
"I know my age. If you know my thoughts then you know why I'm running away."
Coin stopped talking after my comment. I took off running father into the woods.
