"He is safe with me." Raizel said, causing Lyle's heart to beat abnormally fast. He turned to look at the man beside him but the man was not even looking at him. His brown eyes glowed golden briefly as he focused his attention on the Young Cortez Heir.

Lyle knew at this moment that Raizel was serious. Very serious about his decision to protect him. 

He gasped as he felt something melt in his chest.

The emotion was as hot as a burning flame and as cool as a forest spring.

Even though Lyle knew that Raizel's protection was not coming from the angle he wished, Lyle could not help but fall deeper in love with this person.

He wished so much to protect this person forever.

He lowered his eyes as a strong craze for power filled him. He needed to get stronger.
