Chapter 84: The Tainted Flames

Sebastian, standing still, was staring at the rotting wyvern with an intense gaze that burned brightly with the golden flames around his body. With a single step, he appeared beside the wyvern and simply pressed his hand against its body, igniting it in a burst of flames.

"REEE!!!" The wyvern screeched.

Bang!

In retaliation, the wyvern had struck him, sending him flying away from the area. Just as Elara had expected, the wyvern had ripped off its own wing to prevent the spread of the golden flames.

"I see… so he does bear those flames. He may well be the one. No, he is him. The prophesied one that was foretold to plunge the world into despair or a new era." Elara remarked.

Bang!

Suddenly, a wall of golden flames erupted forth, expanding to the sky and nearly enveloping the wyvern in its path. It was evident by the wyvern's reaction to the flames that it greatly feared the flames.
