Chapter 4: Ch-4 S-System
A young woman with a serious face was standing in front of the class. She has long brown hair tied in a ponytail with bangs swept to the left, brown eyes, and a well-endowed voluptuous body. Her outfit consists of a black blazer, a white polo shirt underneath, a short black skirt, stockings, and a pair of black heels.
"Ahem, Good morning, students. My name is Sae Chabashira, I will be the instructor of class D. I usually teach Japanese history." Chabashira said with a serious tone, but Light noticed something in her words. She said, 'I will be the instructor of class D' not 'I will be your instructor.'
'Interesting.' Light thought as he glared at Chabashira seriously.
"This school has no class reshuffling policies, so I will be looking after class D for the next 3 years. Next, I will distribute the documents containing our school's special rules and freshmen guide." Chabashira continued speaking and handed over the documents that had a title that said, 'S-System'.
'Hm, this school is so interesting. It has everything, from needed facilities to the entertainment district. It was like, we are in a small world.' Light thought. Suddenly, he smiled evilly.
'Thank you, whoever makes this school. Your school has sped up my nurture plan. In return, I will make this school a birthplace of God.' he thought. A school that he could visit other 24hr. like this was excellent. He could monitor and brainwash his target whenever he wants. He could not only create a perfect Kira but may as well create the royal Kira follower.
"This is a school ID card. You will be using this like a credit card instead of paying by cash from now on because the store won't accept cash. The conversion is 1 point = 1 yen. On the first day of every month, the school will give you an allowance point automatically. You will receive the allowance equally. Your cards should have shown that you have 100,000 points already." Chabashira continued speaking, not noticing the evil smile on Light face.
"Surprise by the amount? This school weighs its students on merit. But after your graduation, the school will reclaim your points back. Use them as you see fit. You can use this to buy anything at school and don't you dare extort someone for their point. The school is very sensitive to bullying matters. Is there any question?" Chabashira finished her speech. At that moment, Ryuk returned with an impatient face.
"Light, there are only 4 cameras! You already know where it is, it's positioned in all the room corners! Now give me, apples! Apples!" Ryuk said hastily.
"Then I wish you all luck," Chabashira said, ready to walk out of the class.
"Chabashira sensei, I have something I want to confirm with you. Is that alright?" Light stands up and asked Chabashira.
"Ask away." Chabashira nodded and spoke.
"Next month will we receive 100,000 points too? Is there a system involved when negotiated involve points?" Light glared at Chabashira's eyes and asked.
"I'm not authorized to answer your first question right now. For your second question, we indeed have a contract system." Chabashira answered Light calmly.
"Right now? so, next month I will know it myself. Hm... interesting." Light ignored everyone and thought about the meaning of Chabashira's words alone.
"If you don't have any more questions then, excuse me," Chabashira said and walked out of class.
"Everyone, I have cracked the S-System. Now I will tell you the secret of this school, but please don't share it with other classes. Next month, we will not receive 100,000 points." Light walked in front of the class and said confidently.
"What? Chabashira sensei clearly said that we will receive 100,000 next month!" Some dude shouted at Light.
"No, she did not. She only said that we received 100,000 points this month. She never mentions that we will receive 100,000 points next month. You can see as she avoids answering my question about our allowance next month." Light said with a firm voice. He glanced around the class to see the shocked expression of his classmate.
'Tch, is there no one who realizes something this simple? Maybe I should find a candidate to become L in another class.' Light thought annoyed with the fact that his class had no competent students and the fact that Ryuk was shouting 'apples' in his ears.
"If you still didn't believe me then look at the corners. If you look carefully, you will see hidden cameras in all 4 corners." Light spoke and clap his hand once.
"In my opinion, the hidden camera is to monitor our actions, which means our points depend on our actions during classes. The cameras can't be for security because it is too many for mere security." Light points out his opinion and scanned his classmate's eyes.
"Chabashira sensei said that we will receive an allowance equally, so I deduce that our actions affect the class as a whole." Light stopped his eyes at the brown hair man near Horikita for a second and move on to the other.
"I think we should stop a serious talk for now and introduce ourselves first before we continue." A blonde man said with a friendly smile.
"Indeed, I've skipped the most important thing aren't I," Light said with a guilty smile. For him to forget to ask everyone's name is his biggest mistake.
"My name is Light Yagami, I ranked first in the national exam. Reading is my hobby, and my goal is to become a detective." Light introduced himself with confidence.
"My name is Yosuke Hirata, I'm a soccer player. My hobby is soccer, and my goal is to be a national representative soccer player." Hirata introduced said and glanced at a woman, with shoulder-length brown hair and yellow-gradient violet eyes, who stood up.
"My name is ... um... Kokoro... Inogashira..." Inogashira spoke panicky.
"Inogashira san is it. Please take your time." Light said with a friendly smile.
"My name is Kokoro Inogashira, my hobby is sewing" Inogashira said
After that, others started to introduce themselves until a red hair man shouted.
"Are you a kid that needed to introduce yourselves in front of the class? I'm done with this shit." The red hair man walked out of the class. After that, some of the students walked out too.
'A mad dog, huh.' Light thought. A second later, he grinned widely.
'If I can tame him then, he will be my loyal bodyguard.' Light began to select who will be his loyal pawns and what their duty will be.
