Chapter 153: You and Me, Till The End of Time

"With what?" Lily asked curiously.

"A surprise for Emma, obviously, but what kind?" Connor added. 

James looked back and forth from Lily and Connor. 

"The asking kind," he answered, his tone hushed as he put it as vaguely as possible.

Lily's jaw dropped to the floor. 

Connor gasped.

"Goodness me," Connor said in pure astonishment.

"That's… that's…" Lily stammered.

"THAT'S THE SURPRISE?" She asked loudly, jumping to her feet. 

"Do you think Emma will like it?" James asked, seeking for a truthful answer. 

Lily looked at him weirdly. 

"Like it? She'll love it!" She exclaimed excitedly. 

"Oh Emma's going to be ecstatic!" She nearly-screamed. 

James added, "But it is still to be kept a secret till I ask." 

"To which she'll say yes to," Connor said with a smile.

"Congrats brother," he said, slapping his brother on the back.
