Chapter 145: half truth

Santina was in the middle of routine paperwork for the university when Abby decided to stop by at her office.

The other party knocked on the door of the faculty office for good three seconds, then opened it without waiting to be acknowledged.

The reporter was visibly shocked though when she found Mikael inside instead of her good friend, Santina

"Hey, Brother Kel,"

She greeted him cheerfully and so Mikael looked up and greeted her back as well.

"Miss Salas."

Mikael nodded his head towards Abby to acknowledge her presence. He also tried his best to inject as much enthusiasm into his voice as he welcomed the other party.

"How is it hanging?"

Abby inquired.

"Vertically, last time I checked. What can I do for you?"

Abby chuckled; pleased by the fact that the other party could give as good as he gets. She came into the room, pulled up a chair, and made herself comfortable.
