Chapter 3: Chapter III: The Wizard of Oz and the Little Red Riding Hood
They were standing across the street. The dust shop: From Dust Till Dawn was currently being robbed by seven men in black suits, Tobirama nd Minato assumed them to be the so called "Mobsters" or "Yakuza" based on some of the literature they have read and films they have seen. Black coats and slacks, white undershirts, with matching ties and hats complete with shades, they fit the description very well. They were even armed with swords.
The two hokage tried to stop the heist, but were stopped by one of the Mafia men flying out the window from the inside, the culprit was knocked out cold. The cause of the incident was a little teenager with black hair wearing a black long-sleeved blouse with a high collar and red trim on the sleeves, over which is a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, and a matching skirt with red lining.
She also wore a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces, red trims around the top, and red soles. Her outfit is topped by a red hooded cloak fastened to her shoulders by cross-shaped pins.
She reminded Minato of "The Little Red Riding Hood" from one of the fairytale books they bought from Tukson. Said little girl then jumped out of the store through the window. As she jumped, her figure turned into a spiraling drill dashing towards their direction leaving red rose petals in her trail.
After she dashed outside on the streets she is met by Minato and Tobirama. "Would you like some assistance, little girl?" Tobirama asked. The little girl then looked to her left and saw a man with silver white hair in blue samurai armor with a katana strapped to his waist. Shenreplied with "Yes please."
"Are you alright miss?" Said a voice to her right. She saw a golden blond haired man in a white long coat. She nodded.
The little girl pulled out a small rectangular tablet, which after a few mechanisms and and gear shifts, transformed into a huge scythe that i easily twice her height. Getting into a fighting stance. Minato and Tobirama had Only had their arms dangling to their sides, seemingky relaxed, but their eyes and senses were alert.
The Yakuza group then assaulted the trio. The little girl launched herself to the enemies, using her superior agility and the weight of her scythe to navigate around the field, she quickly disposed of them slamming her scythe onto the targets. Sometimes occasionally shooting them with the barrel of her scythe, surprising the fourth and second hokage with the duality of her weapon.
Tobirama and Minato simply disarmed and subdued the mobsters with the Taijutsu or hand to hand combat relatively easy, without visible effort. Whenever the enemies got close they would just dodge to the side and strike them back.
After taking doen all of them a man with orange hair and white suit with a bowler hat exited the store and threw his cigarette to the pavement. "You guys were worth evry cent. Truly you guys were." He said. After saying those words he pointed his cane at them, at first they merely thought of it as a threatening gesture directed towards them but the tip suddenly glowed and shimmered an orange tint.
"Minato!" Tobirama voiced out in realization, Minato picked up on this and replied "On it!"
Minato threw a kunai at the same time the cane shot out a fireball, Tobirama pulled the little girl and dashed out the way, dodging the projectile. The man surprisingly blocked Minato's kunai, ready to fire once more, but to his surprise Minato teleported beside him and gave him a kick in the face mid air. The kick was so strong that it launched the enemy ragdolling to a nearby wall, crashing to it.
"Thanks, mister." The lady said, Tobirama replied with "It was nothing. You did great in that fight, where did you learn that?"
"Oh, I learned to fight at Signal Academy, my name's Ruby."
"Tobirama." The second Hokage replied as he crossed his arms he then glanced to Minato.
"And I'm Minato." Minato said as he approached the two.
"Thatwasawesomehowdidyougetnearhimsofast?Wast hatyoursemblance?Howdoesitwork?" The little girl named Ruby asked Minato, quickly and fascinated by his technique with stars in her eyes.
Tobirama understood none of that gibberish but Minato surprisignly did and replied. "Er...yeah my semblance is called Flash. It allows me to teleport to any location I've marked." Minato said, changing the name of Flying Raijin to a more less conspicious name.
"Wow that's so cool I-" Ruby said but was interrupted by a smoke grenade exploding. The three then look toward the enemy they subdued, but found him to be missing. Tobirama using his sensory skills then announced "Over there!" as he pointed toward a ladder, the Mob Boss now making his escape.
"Do you mind if we go after him?" Ruby asked an old man, who Minato assumed to be the proprietor of the dust shop. The old man merely nodded, the trio then pursued the mob boss.
Minato merely threw his kunai and held onto the other two and said "Hang on Miss Ruby."
As they teleported to the vicinity, they saw the mob boss boarding an aircraft, a flying bullhead.
"WELL IT'S BEEN FUN LITTLE RED, BLONDIE AND WHITE HAIR! BUT I'M AFRAID I HAVE A FLIGHT TO CATCH" the mob boss taunted as the bullhead flew away.
'Curses! If only I could use my water style!' Tobirama cursed at his self imposed restriction.
But before Minato and Tobirama could give chase, as they planned to do so, they were lifted into the air by some sort of energy. Tobirama amd Minato being instantly on guard, whipped their heads everywhere to figure out the source of their mysterious levitation, only to find a middle-aged woman that has very light-blonde hair tied back in a bun with a curl hanging down the right side of her face.
Her eyes are bright green and she wears thin ovular glasses. She has dangling teal earrings that match the hanging pendant on her collar. She wears a white long-sleeved, pleated blouse that has a wide keyhole neckline and gauntlet cuffs that flare in pleats at the wrist. Her lower body is covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black fading into brown stockings. She also wears black boots with bronze heels and a cape of dark violet color.
Tobirama merely clicked his toungue with an audible "Tsk!" whilst Minato smiled awkwardly at what they both assumed to be a huntress.
Ruby on the other hand...
"Can I have your autograph?"

"What you people did was incredibly dangerous, I hope that you people realize that your actions will not be taken lightly." The blond woman reprimanded as they are now inside an interrogation room in the police station.
Minato and Tobirama was very capable of resisting of what they assume to be the huntress' semblance. But abstained in doing so to avoid being incarcerated or being blacklisted with whatever charges they might be faced with. Tobirama, memorizing the laws of Vale was confident in his ability to defend both himself and Minato within the police station, hence they complied being dragged there.
"You put yourselves in great danger." The huntress reprimanded further.
"They started it" Ruby reasoned.
"That is correct, Ms...?" Minato said as he took Ruby's side.
"Goodwitch." The huntress replied, now known as Ms. Goodwitch.
"Ms. Goodwitch, what Ruby said was right, we saw a robbery happening and believing that we were capable of stopping it, we helped. With Ms. Ruby being the first respondent." Minato explained.
"What do you suggest we should have done? Watch the robbery unfold as if it were a movie? Film it on our scrolls like some sort of amateur journalist? We came, we saw, and we acted accordingly." Tobirama stated.
"Hmph, if it were up to me, you three sould be sent home with a pat on the back...and a slap on the wrist." Said Ms. Goodwitch as she slapped her riding crop on the interrogation table which elicited a startked and frightened "Eek" from Ruby. Tobirama just furrowed his brows and scowled. Minato just sat there, unaffected by the intimidation.
'I understand where she is comming from, but this is just stupid. Thia is the kind of behavior that discourages people from acting on goodwill in certain situations within society.' Tobirama concluded
"But there is someone here who would like to meet all of you." Goodwitch continued.
A man with white hair in a black formal suit with a green ascot stepped in, wearing a small round tinted shades reflecting the light of the interrogation room. He is holding a mug and a tray full of cookies.
"Ruby Rose, you have silver eyes..." the man said as he put the tray on the table. Ruby and the other two then grabbed a cookie.
'Chocolate chip.' Tobirama mused as he finished two cookies. 'There are nuts inside.' Minato thought as he ate three cookies. Ruby scarfed the rest down quickly, surprising the Hokages.
"So, where did you people learn how to do this?" The man asked as he showed a video of all of them fighting the robbers in his scroll, presumably data footage gathered by the police from nearby cctv's.
"Uh...Signal academy." Ruby replied.
"Self taught." Both Tobirama and Minato replied in unison, hiding the truth.
Ozpin looked at the blond ninja and the white haired shinobi, skeptical of the origins of their skills. "Minato Namikaze and Tobirama. Both age...19?!" Ozpin blurted out, surprised. Surprising Ruby as well.
"Is this data accurate?" Ozpin asked, a speaker on the corner of the roof then voiced out an answer from a police officer outside. "That is correct sir, we have confirmed their identification and checked it within Vale's database."
"You don't look like a nineteen year old." Goodwitch said pointing her riding crop towards Tobirama.
"My lifestyle is not one you would describe as...relaxing." Tobirama replied.
"And you, you look younger than him, but you still look older than nineteen! You look like in your early twenties." Goodwitch said to Minato.
"Er...yeah, I get that a lot too." Minato said smiling awkwardly.
"Omigosh! I'm sorry that I called you a mister earlier! I totally thought you were an adult." Ruby apologized. Tobirama just waived his hand, motioning that it was alright.
'Well, they are not mistaken, our records were forged. Plus even though we were returned to our teenage-youth, our teenage physique and appearance is comparable to that of a young adult with what our upbringing caused.' Tobirama mused.
"Well, he does like to put on a scowl and frown every now and then." Minato joked to diffuse the tension in the room. Tobirama just sighed.
"I-I see...and you guys said you were self taught?" The man clarified.
The two Hokages just nodded.
"I doubt that, such precise and skilled movements are hard to achieve with self taught methods alone." The man argued.
"I never said we did not have any combat experience or knowledge about fighting. We recieved pointers from people every now and then." Tobirama replied.
"I see...the two of you must be quite talented then..." The man concluded, still seemingly believing only part of the lie, but decided on not questioning it further.
He then proceeded to question Ruby further.
"As for you, Ms. Rose. They taught you how to use a most dangerous weapon ever designed?"
"Well, one teacher in particular."
"It's just that, I've only seen one other scythe wielder of that skill before. A dusty old crow..."
"Oh, that's my uncle. Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at signal. I was complete garbage with fighting before he took me under his wing."
"So I've noticed...and what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing in a school designed to train warriors?"
"Well, I want to be a huntress."
"You want to slay monsters?"
"Yeah, I only have two years left at Signal Academy, and then I'm going to apply for Beacon Academy. My sister is going there this school year actually. And I always wanted to help people, my mom and dad always taught me to be helpful, so I decided to make a career out of it, hehehe. I mean the Police are alright, but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just much more you know, romantic and gosh eheheh."
"Do you guys know who I am? The man asked.
"Yes, Y-Your Professor Ozpin, the Headmaster at beacon." She answered. Eliciting a surprised expression from Minato and Tobirama.
'Ozpin...could he be the wizard of Oz mentioned by the sage?' Both Minato and Tobirama thought.
After digging through the names of people from the CCT back before, there was only one person who had the word Oz in his name throughout Vale. It was this man named Ozpin. Of course, the wizard of Oz could just be a title and not a name, but judging from the disposition and demeanor of the man, both shinobi could tell that he was no ordinary citizen.
And out of all the places in Vale, Beacon Academy was the only place they had not investigated, they were supposed to investigate it sometime soon, but a new opportunity is about to present itself.
"So you are." Tobirama mumbled audibly.
"Nice to meet all of you, so, you want to come to my school?"
"More than anything." Ruby replied.
"What's in it for us?" Tobirama asked.
"Proper and formal education, first and foremost. Once you graduate from Beacon, you not only get prestigous credentials, but a huntsman license." Glynda answered, feeling slightly offended by Tobirama's question.
"But we don't currently have the funds to properly enroll, besides there is the matter of resources for school and other miscellaneous fees." Minato reasoned.
'I doubt our part time job can send two people to a prestigous academy.' Minato thought.
"No need to worry, there is the matter of a scholarship. Just do well and the government will fund nearly all of your expenses ranging from lodging and dormitory to allowance and other miscellaneous fees such as books and uniform." Ozpin replied.
"But that offer's too good to be true. Nobody is that generous, I refuse to believe that there is no catch." Tobirama quipped.
"True, the government of Vale does expect to get something out of these scholars. And that is to nurture them to be hunters and huntresses that work for the public. They pay for your studues and you come under their employment, sounds fair no?" Ozpin replied.
Both Tobirama and Minato were now weighing their options. An concluded that joining Beacon would be within their best interest, and the deal is not as bad as it seems. The two exchanged glances and nodded.
"Very well, but on the condition that you take on two more students." Tobirama replied.
"What? You dare to make demands towar-" Goodwitch replied but was interrupted by Ozpin. "It's okay Glynda. Now, what do you mean by that?"
"I have an older brother and we have another close friend, their names are Hashirama Senju and Hiruzen Sarutobi, if you are preseting us this offer due to our skills, then I ask that you extend the same offer towards them. I assure you that not only are they strong, but highly skilled and capable as well. My older brother is even stronger than I and Hiruzen is no slouch eitherm that I assure you." Tobirama negotiated.
"Hm...I see. Very well, inform them of our talk, and if all of you, including you Miss Rose, pass the initiation test, then all of you will be formally enrolled to Beacon." Ozpin said as he gets up of the chair and heads for the door.
"I will be expecting the four of you, including you Ruby Rose." Ozpin said as he left.

"OH YEAH!" Ruby screamed joyfully as he tried to high five Minato with both hands with glee, to which he obliged. "Beacon here we come!" Ruby exclaimed with happines.
