Chapter 4: Chapter IV: Beacon Academy

The four Hokages are currently aboard an aircraft, a "Bullhead" as the locals refer to it. After the events 3 days ago, Tobirama had briefed Hiruzen and Hashirama of what had transpired in their minor dust excursion with Minato. Suffice to say that the first and third hokage who didn't tag along was quite surprised with the recent developments. They had not expected such an opportunity to not only gain proper credentials and education that could lead to a stable profession, which by extension will benefit them in their lives at Remnant by providing them with a more favorable position in the new society as well as a more reputable source of information. One that doesn't involve shady dealings in alleyways, all courtesy of the second and fourth hokage, puting their infiltration tactics to good use by infiltrating the criminal undergrounds of Vale, who saw it necessary to gather information at bars, night club and among such other less reputable establishments from less respectable people in their first few weeks in the new world.

"This aircraft is amazing elder brother! did you know that this aircraft is actually a Vertical Takeoff-Landing Aircraft?! Not only is it a revolutionary invention for comfortable and ease of travel by air, it is also an effective military vehicle!" Tobirama marveled at the spacious inside of a Bullhead, and normally so seeing that it is the first time for all of them to board a bullhead. Whenever they venture out to farther places, they would just teleport or go on foot, so seeing a grand and advanced piece of technology was a marvel for them.

"It sure is. I mean look at the size of this thing. This this aircraft can fit at least a dozen shinobi squads!" Minato marveled in awe with Tobirama.

"I admit, this is quite the piece of technology, but the speed is rather...underwhelming." replied Hashirama as he buried his head on a book while walking. They were all taking a tour on the vehicle.

"It is unwise for you to compare ourselves to regular people of this realm, much less regular people in general." Hiruzen reasoned with a smile.

"I suppose, I mean we are pretty amazing. Hahaha" Hashirama replied.

"Are you still reading that filth Elder Brother?" Tobirama questioned seeing the title of the black book Hashirama was reading. It was titled "Ninja's of Love"

"I beg to disagree with that notion, this book is actually a masterpiece. Though I will say, their interpretation of love is a bit...peculiar. At least from what I compare from what I have experienced being a former married man." Hashirama stated, to which Hiruzen  merely nodded in agreement to the romance part seeing has he was married as well and found it to be peculiar himself when Hashirama discussed some of the romantic scenes and found it to be...far fetched.

"I don't know, some parts of it do resemble me and my wife's married life. Though some scenes and parts of that book are just exaggerated and highly romanticized, as if it were just an erotic machinations full of biases from the author." Minato interjected.

"Might be a generation gap thing." Hiruzen replied.

"That is a fictional  - smut book! Nothing in that literature is factual nor are there any logical basis for what the contents of that book actually are supposed to portray! It is even inaccurate in it's portrayal of a shinobi! That thing is heresy! A travesty! That thing is filth!" Tobirama said, scrunching up his face remembering his first read through of the book. He wish he hadn't read it.

"Well for all the quirks that it has, it sure is entertaining." Hiruzen said remembering some of the "adult" scenes the book portrayed to which Tobirama just pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Ah, there's Ruby." Minato said a he waved to Ruby's direction, seeing her. Tobirama waving the same upon hearing Minato's statement. Hashirama and Hiruzen waved to as a form of courtsey.

"Who's that young girl?" Hashirama asked as he put the erotic book in his bag-pouch that was connected to his belt.

"She's that Ruby from the dust robbery." Tobirama answered.

"I see, I did not expect such ferocity in combat from such a pretty little girl." Hashirama said gaining a nod from Hiruzen who said: "She'd make a fine Genin, a talented shinobi as well if she were able to use ninjutsu."

"Yeah, she has great talent." Minato said as he glanced back to Ruby being hugged by another girl but with blonde hair. Tobirama interrupts his train of thought by speaking.

"Alright, from the information I've gathered from previous accounts and records about Beacon academy, we will most likely be tested by either our combat skills or our survival skills. There is not much to go about the exam seeing as it changes every year, but the goal in every entrace exam remained unchanged. And that is to gather these "artifacts" as they call it." Tobirama briefed, with every member being focused to what the second Hokage is saying.

"Now, let's go over our "semblances" again. What is your's elder brother, and what does it do?"

"My semblance is named [Botany] which is essentially just Phytokinesis, it allows me to control, grow and manipulate trees and other tree related plants, but is only limited to tree type plants. Basically my wood style ninjutsu." Hashirama said, earning a nod from Tobirama, he then turned to Hiruzen, who spoke next.

"Mine is Geokinesis named [Earth Power] it allows me to move, manipulate, control or change the state of any form of land to a certain extent as long as they are earthen materials."

"Good. Now I know you are adept at all five chakra natures, but the power of earth is highly versatile, allowing us a wide array of tactics and broader strategies considering that we are limited in the abilities we are exposing." Tobirama said, this time it was Hiruzen who nodded.

Minato spoke next saying: "Mine is a teleportation semblance named [Flash] it allows me to teleport instantaneously or others I come in contact with to places I have marked."

"Good. Then mine is [Sensory] it is a detection type semblance that allows me to detect individuals by their "aura."  I can also use it on the surrounding topography to get a lay out of thr environment." Tobirama said.

"But why choose that instead of other types of "semblances?" Surely your water ninjutsu masked as hydromancy would be more optimal than making use of your sensory ninjutsu?" Hiruzen asked.

"True, but when I decided my sensory ninjutsu as my semblance, I had intended to use this against people. People are just as dangerous and moreso elusive than these creatures of grimm. Madara, Orochimaru and that Kabuto fellow are prime examples of that. It also makes makes tracking any human enemies a lot easier without worrying about excuses on where we got their location. Besides, having a detection type semblance allows us to move quickly in situations without having of being ambushed." Tobirama reasoned.

"I see, such a useful asset. As espected of you Lord Second, you've really planned things out." Hiruzen replied.

"More like his usual paranoia." Hashirama teased.

"Just being cautious elder brother."

"Also, do try to hold back. I know that we are already limiting ourselves with what jutsus we can use, but fully showcasing our combat prowess would be outright suspicous." Tobirama reminded.

"Even if we hold back, we would still be considerably strong." Hiruzen replied.

"At the very least we can justify it as us being prodigies. Further enforcing the cover up I already laid out on the headmaster. The  again, us being prodigies isn't exactly a lie either." Tobirama reasoned.

"Well, I guess that's true." Minato said as he looked at their roster. "Yeah, with this team I doubt any if us would have trouble at Beacon."

~~~*~~~
After the pleasant ride at the bullhead, they get off it from a landing pad, where all passengers dismounted. And from what they saw after walking out of the docking terminal, surprised entirely. What greeted them was a massive building, even bigger than the cliff at the village of Konoha where faces of all kage are carved on, and that cliff was already pretty huge. The building in front of them resembled of what seems to be a castle depicted from the fairy tales that Minato bought from Tukson's bookstore.
"Well fellow kage. Shall we?" Hashirama said with a beaming smile, to which everyone had a smile of their own and nodded, as they all walked towards Beacon Academy.
"Welcome to Beacon Academy! Home to future hunters and huntresses in Vale, an institution that educates and trains students into..." said a hologram of Goodwitch at the entrance as the four kage passed by it, albeit listening up until the very end of her speech.
The quarter then navigates around Beacon Academy and reaches the auditorium, through referencing a directory and asking a few fellow aspiring hunters along the way.
They found a row of seats unoccupied and strided to occupy it, all four of them sitting together the first hokage at first followed by the second, third and fourth. The four are looking at the program that they snatched from a table, the very same table Goodwitch's hologram was, reading through it.
"The opening remarks by the headmaster and introduction to Beacon are at 1:30pm, followed by the introduction of faculty members and then finally the declaration of rules and regulations, with the program ending at 4:00pm." Tobirama said as he closed the pamphlet and tucked it on his pocket.
"As prepared as always." Hashirama said.
"No you're just too lax elder brother."
"I suppose. But being too paranoid and uptight could be too stressful and taxing."
"Need I remind you who worked tirelessly to make sure everything went well and kept you in line during your tenure as the first hokage? If anything, it's your fault I ended up picking this habit." Tobirama answered proudly, to which Hashirama just laughed and said sorry but otherwise thanked him as well.
"Stay ready, then there is no need to get ready." Tobirama said.
"Well, that is true. That philosophy helped me out many times in the battlefield." Minato said.
"Well not everybody can afford to be lax during times of war and constant battling. Not everyone is a Hashirama who can go 0 to 100% real quick without any problems and still win in any situation." Hiruzen half joked and half praised.
Their banther was cut short by Goodwitch speaking, now on stage on a podium with a microphone atached to it, starting to speak and going over the agenda of the pamphlet, from starting the opening remarks, going over the introduction and the basics of Beacon, introducing the faculty members; who were surprisingly only five people all present at the stage being named as Professor Peter Port, Doctor Oobleck, Professor Peach, Professor GGlynda Goodwitch and Headmaster Ozpin himself. All of them were introduced on stage minus the utility faculty members who were only named and not present at the staged. Her speech ended when she passed the podium towards Ozpin, who spoke after her.
"So that's tje Ozpin fellow you have talked so much about." Hashirama said as Ozoin strode to take Glynda's position at the microphone.
"Indeed elder brother." Tobirama replied.
"You are right, I sense something...off about him. Like he is not a regular person. There is something more to him that meets the eye." Hashirama said. But before Ozpin spoke, he was silent and eyed all of the students present, especially the four Hokage who Ozpin looked them straight eye with a neutral expression, them returning the eye contact in the same manner.
"Hoh~ woukd you look at that. He's assessing all of the students. A sign of a good teacher." Hiruzen observed.
"And he's sizing up the four of us in particular. It seems we have caught his interest." Tobirama observed.
Ozpin then began to speak. The four kage listening intently with all of their focus directed at the man, catching their undivided attention.
"You have travelled here today in search of knowledge. To home your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your lives for the greater good or the protection of people. But I look amongst you and all I see is wasted energy. In need of purpose, direction...guidance. You assume knowledge will free you of this and you are partially correct. However your time at this school will prove that knowledge only carry you so far. Here at Beacon Academy, we will teach you aspiring huntsmen and huntresses valuable experience and other characteristics necessary to take on the world. But the rest will depend on your efforts. It is up for you to take the first step." Ozpin said, finishing his speech.
"I can sense a refined wisdom from the way that man carries himself, and with he way he delivered that speech. I can see a certain passion, one of which that is filled with great experience and knowledge." Hiruzen added, using his old aged wisdom.
"The vibes he gives off is that of someone that is older for his age... it's as if..."
"He is like us." Tobirama and Minato replied in unison, continuing the senstence.
"Hmm...now that you mention it, he does give off that impression." Hashirama remarked.
"Do you suspect him of something?" Tobirama asked.
"Not in particular, but as someone who has lived for a long time, and being exposed to some of the elders of the village...all I can say is that it takes one old soul to know one." Hiruzen answered.
"You will gather in the ballroom tonight, it will act as a massive sleeping quarter for everyone. Your initiation begins tomorrow. Do not be late and be ready. You are dismissed." Glynda declared after Ozpin's speech.
"Well, tomorrow is going to be a busy day." Minato said as the four of them rise from their seats.
"That is correct, but our job is not finished." Hiruzen said, smiling.
"Let's split up to cover more ground. A full survey of the environment and it's surroundings should be optimal record all of your findings in your scrolls. We will rendezvous within an hour to set up camp in the ballroom." Tobirama ordered.
"Roger!" Minato replied.
"Understood." Hiruzen replied.
"Okay." Hashirama replied in a relaxed tone.
To Be Continued!
Also I edited Ozpin's speech a bit, I found it a bit lacking in the original series, so I saw it fit to add some stuff.
