The wagon rolled along the arid road with a steady rhythm, guided by Rextra's firm yet playful pull. Her feet moved gracefully, though slightly stiff, as she hummed a merry tune.

Seated at the front of the wagon, Ethan gripped the reins tightly, his eyes focused on the path ahead. Beside him, Lilith sat with an air of sweet contentment, a stick of candy delicately held between her lips.

During a momentary pause in their journey, Ethan turned to Lilith with a curious tone. "Lilith, did anything happen with the girls while I was asleep?" He inquired, still keeping a watchful eye on the winding road.

"Uhn? What do you mean?" Lilith asked back, delicately removing the lollipop from her mouth as she turned her head towards him.

"Anna and the rest have been acting strange…," Ethan revealed, his demeanor still composed, yet Lilith sensed an undercurrent of concern.
