Chapter 158: Trolls stampede

Ethan and his companions found themselves in front of the wagon, a few paces away, as an enormous surge of heavy dust rapidly approached, growing larger and closer by the second.

Nora's eyes twitched as she tried to discern what was stampeding toward them. "What is that?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

Ryan sighed, his gaze also fixed on the approaching dust. "Exactly the question. It just came out of nowhere," he said, trying to make sense of the situation. "If I had to guess… I'd say something is speeding towards this side."

"It would have to be a lot of somethings to create such a massive scene. A single creature couldn't cause all this," Ethan mused as he knelt down, his hand touching the surface of the earth.

The earth trembled beneath Ethan's feet as the thunderous vibration of multiple heavy footsteps pounded the ground at an alarming rate. Before Ethan could utter a word, Lilith swiftly intervened.
