Chapter 14: 13. The Lying, The Bitch, And The Wardrobe
Jay drives us to the address constantly asking Kris if this is the right way, which each time she replies with 'yes just drive'.
The house was about half a block away, coming infront of it there was about 5 other cars in the front yard, Jay parks by one of the neighbors mailboxes.
The boys hop out before us and head to the front door, me and Kris take a minute to fix our outfits, I take in her bathing suit which is less showy than mine.
It's the same color as mine but has a little dress cover over it, making it a bit more mature and girly than mine.
Her hair falls down her back, I scoff quietly as I take in her appearance, she looks like she is about to walk a runway and not going to a pool party.
Pulling on her arm we make our way to the door, where the boys are waiting for us, we all walk in at the same time.
The music that was once quiet is now loud and vibrating the whole house as it blasts from the speakers.
The house is a bit humid from all the close dancing bodies, all of us head towards the kitchen to grab a drink to start off with.
The dining table is filled with beer, Sake, vodka, rum and other sorts of drinks, grabbing a drink for himself and one for me Jay turns towards me.
Handing me the red cup I gratefully take it from his hand, bringing it to my lips it smells like coke and vodka.
Gulping down half of it my throat feels less dry than before, turning my head to the side I grin at Jay who was watching me drink to see how much I will drink in one go.
Challenging me he downs the whole thing, once finished he gets another cup and slightly bumps shoulders with me, giving me a soft smile.
We both just sit there as HeeHee starts to go dance with someone and Junie and Kris go off somewhere else.
Leaning against Jay I take in the house, the big living room is filled with about more than 30 dancing bodies.
The living room furniture is pushed to the side to creat a dance floor, looking to my left I see a double sliding glass door.
Taking my cup with me I tell Jay that I'm gonna go check the place out.
"Alright I'm gonna go look around too, meet up later?"
Nodding my head yes I open the sliding door, instantly regretting it, as soon as I step outside the pool is directly infront of me but a few feet away.
The person who gets out of the pool instantly makes my mood sour as she smiles brightly, 'accidentally' spraying a bit of water on me.
Lima Bean herself stands right infront of me, fake smile plastered on that stupid face of hers.
"Oh! I'm SO sorry, I didn't see you there"
Griping my cup a bit tighter now I scoff at her words, letting it slide with a smile I walk past her, taking in the seats that are off to the side of the pool.
Walking towards them I go to sit down, it's very soft and comfortable, who would have known from a small boy like that having a nice house like this.
'I wonder where his parents are to let him throw a big party like this'
Chuckling a bit to myself at my thoughts I lean back in the chair as my eyes scan the pool area, my heart skips a beat as my eyes land on another person.
Bare faced and hair all messy, he glances at me from over his friends, smiling over at me he just barely catches what his friend said to him as his attention keeps diverting towards me.
Rolling my eyes I go to stand up, walking over to the edge of the pool I pull my arms across my waist.
Hugging myself as the night gets darker and the wind nips more at my skin, It's still humid but the soft air makes me get slightly chilly.
"Found you my little Baby Blue"
Turning my head to look over my shoulder I see Jay standing behind me, he no longer has a cup in his hand.
He is slightly swaying making him look a bit tipsy, Jay is a heavy drinker so I'm assuming he's had about 2 or more cups.
Chuckling at him I turn around to face him, his hand comes up as he takes my hair tie out from my hair, my long straight hair tumbles down my back.
Looking me in the eyes he starts to smile at me, putting the hair tie around his wrist he keeps it, not giving it back to me.
"Your hair looks good down, and I don't want it to get messy after what I'm about to do."
He states this matter of factly.
My breathing quickens as I move around him, holding my hands up as I start to give out an uneasy laugh.
Jay gets this devilish grin on his face, walking slowly towards me like a hunter catching his prey, and right now I'm not in a very good position.
Biting his bottom lip he watched me, slowly taking a step forward as I take one backwards.
"Look Jay, Whatever you're about to do, DONT!"
I make a run for it, just as I turn my back to him he grabs me from behind, carrying me bridal style I'm trapped in his arms.
My loud screams make him laugh louder, as he starts to walk back towards the pool, holding me tighter in his arms so there is no room for escape.
"Yeah I don't think so BA-BY"
I start laughing when he spaces out the word, coming right at the edge of the pool he stands there.
"Look Jay, just put me down and you can swim by-..."
Cutting me off he tells me
"No can do, we're going down TOGETHER!"
Looking down at me in his arms he smiles at me, goosebumps start to rise on my skin as his hair tickles my face.
With one last laugh he tosses me into the pool, grabbing onto him tightly his body crashes down with mine in his embrace.
My loud screams and his loud laughing fills the air outside just as we hit the surface,
gripping onto my waist tighter as we reach the bottom of the pool.
He holds me tighter as he kicks the floor, pushing both of us up to get air, our heads break the surface as my legs wrap around his waist.
Hugging him tightly my legs wrap around his waist, his hand are holding me up by my butt.
I don't think anything of it because we sleep in the same bed at sleepovers, we're all just that close.
He slowly spins me around in his arms as more people decide to jump in because of us, throwing my head back I laugh with Jay.
My eyes look past him as I catch someone's eye, Nick is standing with his friends and Lima bean, one of the taller boys is talking to him.
The boy taps Nick on the shoulder, he's trying to gain his attention, Nick looks like he's lost in thought as his eyes are stuck to Jay and me.
Giving him a small smile he doesn't respond, turning his head back to his friend I watch his lips move, grabbing his cup he moves around them.
Heading inside I watch him move, he grips the sliding glass door and he slips inside, throwing us a look before stepping in.
"Whose that?"
Jays deep voices breaks my train of thought as I turn to look at him.
"Some dancer at the new studio I go to, and a kid at school, nobody really"
My words come out a bit softer at the end, giving Jay a small smile of reassurance.
He continues to look in the direction of the door, unwrapping myself from around him my feet just barely touch the bottom of the pool.
Jay swims away telling me he's gonna go grab us a drink, and that if he takes too long to go get him.
I give him a hum of approval, swimming around a little as I watch him head inside and towards the kitchen.
