Chapter 13: 12. Group Huddle
'You have got to be Kidding me!'
My eyes roll harshly as three VERY obnoxious boys enter through my bedroom door, no knock, no 'can we come in'
....just plain barging in.
"Get ready to party!"
HeeHee states matter of factly, as he makes his way over to my bed, the other two come in with bright smiles on their faces.
All three of them jump on top of me squishing me to death, my breath wheezes out at they dog pile me.
My sister comes walking in looking at us on the bed, going over to the closet she pulls it open and grabs a swimsuit.
Tossing it towards me Jay grabs it mid air, standing up he holds it against himself.
"so guys how do I look?"
Jay questions with a smirk on his face, standing up I rip the swimsuit out of his grip, laughing at his silliness.
"Um yeah no she's NOT wearing that, let alone we don't know how many guys will be there"
Heehees protective side comes out as he goes to grab the swimsuit from me, I sidestep as he ends up running into Hoonie.
Chuckling to myself I sit back on the bed, Kris walks over to my vanity and pulls out my straightening iron.
"We're ALL going, end of discussion"
Turning around she sits down and start to get ready.
"Yeah who says?!"
Me and HeeHee state, both crossing our arms over our chests, we stare at her for an answer.
"Come on it'll be fun"
Hoonies voice catches us both off guard, the fact that he's suggesting us to go out to a party confuses us.
Because we all know that he would rather stay in and do stuff together than go to a party, we both let out a sigh knowing that now we have to go.
"Besides Jay said he'll go and we all know where he goes so do you, so you have to anyways."
Listening to Junies I nod my head at his statement, because he's right, everywhere I go Jay goes and vice versa.
Groaning out loud with HeeHee I elbow him in the side and head to the bathroom, just as I shut the door someone bangs on it.
"Hey let me come in too! They did say EVERYWHERE you go I go too so-...."
"Oh shut it Jay! Definitely not gonna happen"
I slip out of my clothes as I hear him sigh loudly as the boys start to laugh, changing into my bathing suit I quickly gather my clothes.
Stepping out of the bathroom both Jay and Heehee are seated on the bed, they're mouths hang open as they look at my swimsuit.
Ignoring them I turn my head as I scan the room to find Hoonie, standing behind my sister at the vanity I watch him help her straighten her hair.
Catching her eyes in the mirror she gives me a nod and a thumbs up, turning around I look back at the boys.
"Well Baby Blue I think you look GREAT!"
Smiling at Jays statement I go to the vanity as my sister gets up to change into her bathing suit, Heehee has a look of disapproval as I catch his face in the mirror.
"Do you want me to help with your hair too?"
I turn my head towards Junies as I smile at him politely saying no.
I watch him through the mirror as he goes to sit with the other boys on the bed, leaning back against the headboard he pulls out his phone.
Turning my attention to myself I put on slight makeup that's waterproof, my hair is already straight so I don't do anything to fix it but throw it into a bun.
The bathroom door opens as my sister walks out, moving my eyes over to Junies I make sure to watch him.
His eyes automatically look up, his fingers stop moving on his phone as it slips out of his hand, I can see him visible swallow.
His face is blank as he watches her, both Heehee and Jay go to compliment her as he just sits there, Rolling my eyes I smile to myself.
'Looks like someone has a crush'
I wonder how that's gonna play out in the future.
Standing up I go to pull Jay off the bed, he gives me a confused look as I go over to the full body length mirror.
Now all of us are in our bathing suits, the boys still have their shirts on so that's saving my eyes from having to look at that horrid sight.
I ask him to take some pictures of us so that I can upload them later on Instagram, he grabs my phone from me and starts to take some pictures together.
It's still a bit bright outside so the boys head downstairs to grab something to eat before they go, all the while complimenting me on my new room and our house.
Moms not home from her new job yet so I send her a text telling her that we will all be heading to a pool party and asking her if the boys can stay over tonight for a sleep over.
Getting a yes from her I turn towards the full body mirror to take a couple pictures before I head out.
My mirror faces the window that's next to my bed, mom said that the next door neighbors have a son that's close to my age.
I guess soon she'll give me some type of cake to go bring over their house in hopes of 'getting to know him better' or something like that.
But I have No intentions of getting to know anyone better anyways, I'm gonna focus on dance and school and that's it, no time for boys let alone a relationship anyways.
Drawing back the curtains I look across to see another window, I'm guessing thats someone's room across from mine, that's so cliché.
Leaving my curtains open I grab my small bag and head downstairs, finding everyone down there we grab our stuff and head to the front door.
'Let the party begin."
