Chapter 633: 19

My simple touch allowed me to create a table, and a single chair from the stone floor. The casual way I sat down annoyed all the elves in the room.

"I'm not interested in this planet of yours," I shrugged, "I never was. I only came for the slaves. Give me what I want, and I'll pay you in full with time crystals."

"How many slaves do you want?" she tapped her soul blade on the floor several times as she thought over my offer.

"All of them," I smiled.

"All of them!" One of the princes that had come closer to hear better shouted.

The queen silenced him with a gesture.

"One crystal isn't enough," she looked down at me, "Not for a temporary blood oath, and the slaves."

"Three should be enough for the slaves," I tapped my fingers on the table, "How many to secure the blood oath?"

"Ten," she smirked.

"How about eight?" I leaned back into my chair.

This conversation was giving me a great deal of insight into how this woman thought. Her emotions had come alive when she realized I could use the time element, and I didn't like what I saw.

"I said ten," she looked down on my with that cocky superiority.

My eyes focused on her. I put the time crystal in my teeth. Clenching them down on it. Her eyes widened, and she took a step forward. I slipped the crystal under my tongue.

"You forget," My voice came out a bit funny with the crystal in my mouth, but I could still be understood clearly, "I have the time element. I can easily destroy every single crystal I have hidden away. I offered you eight. Take it or leave it."

Her face twitched as her emotions went through a rainbow of different colors rapid fire. If she wanted those time crystals then she was at my mercy. She didn't like it, but she also didn't have much of a choice in the matter.

"I'll take your deal," The wyverns to my left hadn't made a single move against me so far.

Someone commanded their wyvern to attack. The beast lurched forward only to come to a dead stop once my eye landed on him. He whimpered like a scared pup as his scales hit the floor. He skidded to a stop just a few inches shy of touching me. I patted his nose a few times before giving him permission to back off.

He backed off quickly after that. Staying as close as I allowed, but not coming any closer. The wyverns weren't strong enough to challenge me. They knew a stronger creature when they saw it.

"Payment first," I started writing out the blood oath in divine energy.

It glowed in all the colors at once somehow, but I didn't think that was too important at the moment. I used the knowledge of all my bonded at once to make us a contract that prevented her from pulling anything on us at all. Ethan was surprisingly helpful at this part. It didn't matter much to me though. As long an the contract stopped her from harming me then I was happy with just about any result.

One mental command was all it took for me to call off the entire assault. My bonded commanded our ground forces to return to their mounts, and their mounts were commanded to take them back to the valley. We'd lost about half of the people we brought here, but that was to be expected. They'd known there was a good chance they wouldn't return, and they'd volunteered anyway. We'd actually lost quite a few less then I expected.

It took me the better part of an hour to write a proper safe blood pact. I behaved as if I was relaxed, but the truth was I was as far from relaxed as a single person could get. My muscles were bound up so tight that they could probably break enchanted steel with ease. I was sitting in front of my death, and I was making a deal with her. My blood mixed with the light turning it red.

All I needed was a little of her blood, and the pact would be sealed. That was probably the tensest moment of my entire life. That moment between when she read the finalized contract, and cut herself to sign it. It gave me one week, and only one week to remove all my slaves from this planet. Between the help of the wyverns, and the freedom to move I would have it done in three days.

The contract actually stated that I would be punished with death if I wasn't off the planet in a week. She'd be punished with death if she didn't allow me to leave. She would be punished with pain if she didn't bring me what I paid for, and what I'd paid for was every living slave. Not that I thought she couldn't ignore a little pain to fuck with me. The more she lied the more pain she would be in.

A single mind could only take so much pain. I produced the eleven time elemental crystals I promised. Taking the one out of my mouth, and setting it on the table to complete our deal. Now that the blood oath was signed it was time for us to pull out of here as quickly as possible. The siege on the capital had more then one purpose to begin with.

All the spatial stones that I needed to complete my barrier were now in place. I left the throne room quietly. Dismissing my soul blade as the queen did the same. She'd lose more fighting my group then if she just gave me what I wanted. From her perspective I'd just volunteered to leave, and she could reclaim everything once our deal was done.

She didn't know about my second objective for coming here. I'd successfully tricked her. She wouldn't know that until I was done. In the next few hours the queens message swept across the land, and the mass exodus of all the slaves had began. It was a simple task to go riding around the world, and collecting what I'd paid for.
