“He can’t? What do you mean, he can’t?” Ashur asked in bewilderment.
Vic glanced towards Ty and checked for his permission, “Ty, is it alright if I tell Ashur your story?”
Ashur’s cheeks reddened slightly. He hoped that he didn’t come across as rude or disparaging.
But Ty didn’t seem offended, and simply nodded.
In a serious tone, Vic began to explain Ty’s situation, “Ty was from the land of Bmit. Because he never got his growth spurt, he often got bullied by other people for his small size.”
Indeed, Ashur could tell that Ty was significantly much shorter than the other guys in the group. He was even smaller than Ashur, who was already slightly built.
A cold gaze set in Vic’s eyes. He continued on, “Those bullies hurt him and damaged his ability to speak. We are not sure if it is physical or magical.
When we first met Ty, he was already mute. Since then, we have brought him to various healers across the lands, but no one can figure out what’s wrong.”
