Chapter 178: Chapter 177 - You Are Lying

Ryley carefully placed his trembling palm on the man's bruised cheek and asked worriedly, "Who did this to you?" 

The Alpha didn't say anything and just brought his hand to kiss deeply. His worry and shock for Ryley made him temporarily forget the disaster that had just happened to himself.

But more than the scars visible to the eyes on his body, Clyde was crushed by the other wound gnawing at his conscience from inside.

The words coming out of his father's own mouth... And Claire's confession...

The truth that had been hidden from him for twenty five years...

His eyes closed as he tightened his hug. Clyde knew doing this only brought back all the bitter memories but he didn't care.
