Synopsis
Edward, an 18-year-old college student, found himself stuck inside of a dark abyss.
"Where am I?"
[Spawning Dungeon Champion]
"Huh?"
With only a single notice, he now housed an unfamiliar body in a dark broody dungeon being forced to attack trespassers. Will he ever find a way out? Or will he be a tool for endless slaughter? Or will he perhaps... do something else entirely?
Warning and potential spoiler
Due to the nature of the novel the MC will be switching between bodies. That's why the status window was made the way it was. If that's not your thing you might want to skip this one. The progress is not reset though.

Write a reviewAVOID THIS NOVEL IF YOU HATE IT WHEN AN AUTHOR NERFS THE MC BACK TO LEVEL 1 AT THE START OF EVERY ARC AND CHANGES EVERYTHING YOU LIKED ABOUT THEIR FIRST ITERATION. ALSO TAKING AWAY BASICALLY ALL OF THEIR SKILLS AND ABILITIES THEY WORKED FOR. ALL GONE. EVERY. VOLUME. Overall the author probably did a good job as I was engaged for all of volume one. Then the author decided to hit the reset button and change the character’s stats and everything back to the starting position and even changed the character from a skeleton into an orc. He’s in a different dungeon too I think, but I dropped the novel since I don’t like this kind of story telling. I become invested in the characters that I read and just completely nerfing them back to the beginning is terrible story telling and is basically a slap in the face for the reader. You’re it basically says that I should never become invested in any of the skills or powers or any aspect of the MC that makes them strong and defines them because at the end of every volume you write you are going to slap the MC back down to the beginning. This just proves that I should never become invested and that is the antithesis of why I real novels. I WANT to care about the main character and watch their systematic growth through the length of the novel. Nerfing them back down to level 1 every volume is just so terrible of an idea. Good luck with your novel but it’s not for me and I wish it was more clear in the synopsis that the author did this style of writing. I would’ve avoided the story like the plague instead of wasting my time and just being slapped in the face by the author.
First Of all I would like to say I'd you are here to decide whether to read it or not yes give it a try Author has done a great job in writing quality as a starter and grammars are decent paragraphs are well written and dialogue is very sensible not to shabby world building is decent as well Now the good side is done there is some mistakes like some times it's hard to understand why health upgrades and why decrease it's confusing and how the system works is confusing too . As a Seasoned reader I consider myself hehe I have strict requirements but I loved this book continue your work :)
Simply I don't like novels where MC is a slave of system. And there are inconsistencies in his health bar sometimes, so it takes all the fun away.....
The author uses way too much text to come to the point. Way too much filler text that does not contribute anything. You scan skip-read over paragraphs and not miss anything. I mean this as in "really bad writing", I don't mind long stories at all! This is like having to listen to someone's presentation about a subject you are actually really interested in, but the guy has 200 slides of which 180 are redundant, off-topic, or just plain boring, and the guy has a sleep-inducing monotonous voice and style. Despite your interest in the subject you wish the same topic would have been presented by a much more skilled presenter.
Terrible novel. So many things wrong with this one, but it all boils down to one thing: the author. In this novel you will find the following: - MC acting dumb or ignorant of something that happened literally one paragraph prior or even right in front of him - Letting enemies go intentionally becuase he is ‘too lazy’ and that leading to massive (obvious) consequences, to which the MC later pulls a “wait, what happened?” - Convenient plot armor such as MC gaining a skill or knowledge that just so happens to solve a major problem that arises just a short while later - Author forcing plot via using problems between system and dungeon - Author constantly going off on tangents and losing of direction in writing the plot I’m not going to go on. If these are acceptable to you, go ahead and read it. In fact, this novel is better than 99% of the original novels on this site where the ‘author’ can’t even write a proper sentence. At the very least, apart from some occasional cringe dialogue, this novel’s langauge is par. Not for everyone, acceptable for some, but not for me. Read at your own discretion.
First volume is more or less fine, consistent progress is made in development, we get to know the characters, etc... But at the end of volume 1 and going into volume 2 the story breaks apart. Nonsensical events happen, shitty plot coincidences pile up and people start doing stuff without explanation. Overall, not really worth your time. Fairly bland at the best of times, barely edible later on.
I’ve read up to chapter 67 (current chapter) and so far it has good English with good grammar as well as an interesting premise. Occasional POV changes that instead of getting in the way, actually contribute to world-building. It seems to be going at a good pace and I like the idea that he has his consciousness stats and his bodies stats, as well that the system and dungeon are separate and even seem to oppose each other in some circumstances. Up until the Orc area (plains) I was reluctant to leave a review as the only other interaction the MC had was with the Lich but during the Orc interactions it’s clear that the author has the ability to write interactions between characters that add to the story. Even during the Skeleton body chapters, the POV change to the branch master and others spice up the story enough to make up for the MC’s interactions.
Chapter 80 (all until now). No spoilers here. The MC is an average teenager, not dumb but not the smartest. No revenge and stuff life that until now, and is not a robotic MC, all in all is a good MC. The world settings until now are pretty normal like any fantasy with mana and orcs etc... That said, the author use an wrel know world and average MC to star his story. Thats when things start to get interessing, the (powers) skills from the MC are unconvencional at least and all the prety existence of the MC start changing the 'know rules' of this world. There are a lot of unexpected developments and turns that most novels avoid or dont do to make the MC cooler or more cold or more awseome but in here its also lead to more ackward funny and unexpected moments. The first arc is the brst until now. And the star of the second arc is a little slow but got better at the middle/end. All in all its a good reading and i look foward to see the next chapters. Thats all folks ;)
Dropping the book after 30 or so chapters. The book took a turn and I didn't like how it was shaping up. The beginning was pretty good. The MC personality was kinda annoying but the setting made up for it. The magic system was pretty good too. The reason Im dropping the book is because the author decided that it was best to make the MC start over. Resetting all of his stats and removing a lot of his skills the MC just spent a lot of time training. He also transport the MC somewhere else so the relationships the MC built till then was also taken away. It was such a slap in the face and jarring experience that I dropped the book right there. The story might be good after the setting change but I don't like the felling of having to worry about if the MC is going to be sent to a new setting and have to start over again. I feel like the MC's and my hard work all went down the toilet
Reveal SpoilerAs an avid reader I'd say it's quite the entertaining novel with consistent updates. The protagonist is overpowered in his own way, that being (currently)impervious to true death. He still has a long way to go before he can accomplish anything too significant, but he is getting there.
Can't wait for more. 👌🏾 This is hands down my favorite story on wn. I.hooe that it gets more attention so that people can check it out. I also can't wait to see what the dungeon has in store next.
Author does a great job of having a great idea and expanding on it. I really enjoy his story and I really love the thought of a mob that. can be all classes and can learn from you ability. Also I think the "bosses" are mere stand ins until Ed can take their place. I think that's why Lich taught him stuff. I also noticed how he wanted to first learn sowrdsmenship then Augustus arrives lol. overall great story
Reveal SpoilerThe first portion was a real banger. I'm holding my breath for the second part because I am not a fan of him recovering his memories, the more he recovers and gains our moral character and ideals the less likely I am to like the subsequent developments. During his time with the Orcs I have this worried and or unsatisfied feeling because we are getting to know them so well I'm worried we are wasting our time and feelings because it is a dungeon he is a dungeon mob with multiple bodies ( which is another point I'm worried about, hope the author doesn't stretch his brain too thin keeping track of that) I mentioned this literally a second ago but on the topic of multiple bodies, I really don't like that I VERY much prefer one body it gives us a sense of identity for the main character and that is a very big deal. I mean look at Chrysalis he is an ANT. Though it's probably still too early for me to write off the multiple bodies concept.
Reveal SpoilerSo far this books great, the author seems like a very nice person always commenting in the comment section. The story starts with a guy waking up in a dungeon as a skeleton. Then you follow him through his adventure to get strong enough to survive what ever is thrown at him.
This novel is so good. The story is well thought out and (as of chapter 80) has been developed really well. I don’t see much of the stereotypical tropes and character designs which makes it more interesting and enjoyable. I hope the author keeps writing this book since it is a very enjoyable story.
I'm not gonna lie this is my favorite book on this website while there are many out there that are more popular but this one is just perfection. Everything about this book is great, first the system and skills are cool and different from any I've seen, second ed is just great he may not be the most exciting personality it just fits and he all around is just nice, and finally the thing that got me to truly adore this book is the amazing idea of him having a different body on each floor that has it's own skills and innate traits. I've always wanted is story where mc is a swordsman or magician to see what he would be if he had a different build following the same rules of the world and in stories when the mc is a jack of all trades it doesn't seem feel the same because it's just too op, but this glorious story was able to give me the thing I've longed for and keep it so the character doesn't seem to be too op. To rap this up this story is great and I hope we get to enjoy it for a long time.
I am so impressed with this novel. It has steady progress and an interesting living world. Yes the world is alive. Ed the MC is a weakling that grows stronger and wiser over time. Ed fails and struggles alot which help build his character. I will say that I highly recommend this novel. Read it!

I obviously haven’t read far yet so this short review is more like an impression. And I’m impressed so far. +Good readable English +nice opening +a good sense of humor Of course this might change and I’ll likely update this review at a later stage but for now full stars ⭐️ in hope that the author will find the time and encouragement to bring this story to its end. Thanks yours sincerely King Georg
