Chapter 51: Planning

Valad walked into a room at the end of the corridor. Oddly enough the room was filled with glowing archives similar to those seen on the planet of Coruscant, within the Jedi Order's Grand Temple. Yet what was missing was mainly a large portion of holographic disks and holocrons.

Jin and Obiwan stared at the library which surrounded them. While there were quite a few lights in the archives, it was rather strange to see this on a ship like this. An entire archive on a warship. It was as if this was supposed to act like a Temple for an Order of some sort.

The two of them paused for a moment, their eyes both locking on the back of Valad's head as he was guiding them through the various isles. Was this boy building his own order? His own Sect which followed the Force?

Jin was rather curious about this boy's view on the force. Just how was he not taken in by the Order at such a young age? According to the Queen of Naboo, he was from that planet.

Obiwan Kenobi just gazed over the empty sockets within the shelves. Though he also paused when he reached some of the shelves that actually had things in them.

All of the writings were in High Galactic, which was just basic english literacy. He stared at the letters for a few moments. "The First Schism, Second Schism, Third Schism, Great Hyperspace War, Tales of the Jedi, The Je'daii Code, Hundred Year Darkness, The Jedi Order..." He tested each of the volumes he came across through his lips.

It seemed he had books and archives based on all of the Galaxies History dating back to Infinite Empire, though many of the accounts were incomplete. Mostly because the only knowledge here was the knowledge which was given in the public Lore of Star Wars. Not the entire unveiled universe.

"The Clone Wars?" Obiwan paused seeing this, but when he went to touch the occupied socket, he found Valad's hand rested on his wrist. His eyes immediately locked onto the younger boy. He had used the force to accelerate his speed and came to his side at a blurr.

Jin looked over rather impressed.

"That hasn't happened yet." Valad warned which made both of the Jedi raise their brows.

What did he mean by this record hadn't happened yet? Why was it here? That's when they paused, remembering what they were told about this flow-walking technique. It appears this boy had recorded the information he wanted throughout time and kept it here. This was the somewhat logical conclusion which had been given.

However this was more so false, this was the old record of the Clone Wars which had records of Anakin Skywalker, Obiwan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano. It showed what happened in the Movies, shows, books and even the comics.

This information even though he had given a large amount already, would make things muddled and confusing. Especially if they learned he had collected Ahsoka Tano, averted Ventress from becoming a Dark Jedi and even stopped Anakin Skywalker from siring a powerful set of Jedi twins with Amidala.

"Master, we could learn a lot from these records," Despite how conservative he was, he still recalled the fact that Anakin Skywalker would have destroyed the Jedi Order had the boy not averted it.

Jin simply shook his head, "We are here as guests my former Apprentice. Let us respect our hosts privacy." He was being courteous, something Valad came to respect at all times.

"Yes.. Master," Obiwan nodded slowly before scrunching up his face a bit, wanting to detest. Yet he knew his father figure was correct. He would follow Valad as they made their way over to a private study within the archives. The room was about twenty by twenty feet, it had a high ceiling and there was a semi-circular desk.

Seated in the office chair with her legs crossed was Master Fay. Her eyes were closed and she was meditating. She was completely clueless of the conversation the three of them had pertaining to the Jedi initiate known as Anakin Skywalker, let alone what Valad had done.

"Master Fay," Qui-Gon called out with a curious tone as she opened her eyes and looked over the aging man.

A small smile forming over her elvish lips, seeing a familiar face in such a long time. It made her rather happy. Though since the Jedi Order had been listening out for her, it seemed she couldn't hide for much longer.

"Master Jin," Fay responded with a friendly tone, before glancing over towards Obiwan with a brow raised. "Your... Padawan?"

Jin nodded slightly, "Former Padawan. He is now a Knight," He sounded rather prideful, considering how much of a better Jedi Jin believed his disciple to be than himself.

Valad simply smiled at the two of them, before bowing his head slightly to Fay. "Sorry to disturb, I shall return to the Bridge." Vaylin bow her head as well, pinching at the end of his sleeve as they began to leave the room together.

"Very well," Fay said with a smile still blankly pressed across her lips. She then looked at the other Jedi as the two left the room. Once they were gone, the door to the study closed.

"I assume you're here because of the disturbance?" Fay let her gaze fall upon one of the Jedi Masters she come across at some point in her life. It had been centuries, she remembered and knew many faces. People she saw as brothers and sisters.

Jin nodded in contemplation, "Yes... Though I'm getting the feeling we're inside of that disturbance."

Obiwan looked over at his Master and raised a brow, then over towards Fay who seemed to have agreed that the very ship they were standing within, had caused the disturbance in the force.

"Where did this ship come from?" Master Qui-Gon asked curiously, tilting his head slightly.

Fay made a popping sound with her lips, "It just popped out of Subspace, from what I saw. There was nothing and no one on board. All of its systems were fully automated," She responded with a shake of her head, it sounded weird just saying it.

"There's knowledge that subspace is just another layer of reality... It could be that this ship came from another one of those layers." Jin suggested, Obiwan nodding in agreement. "But why are you here, Master Fay?"

Fay's smile weakened, it couldn't stay printed there for long. "The Force has demanded me to join this boy on his quest." She didn't seem all that thrilled. Everything about this boy was strange, fast paced and completely out of the ordinary.

"Is he the chosen one?" Jin asked, he seemed a bit mixed up with the whole prophecy thing.

Fay wasn't surprised by this older Jedi asking about the Prophecy. Jedi now-a-days are obsessed with Destiny rather than living in the moment. She thought it was a shame, but knew one day everything would eventually work out.

"According to his most recent blood analysis, his Midichlorian count is over 90,000."

Jin's jaw and Obiwan's jaw almost dropped to the floor. So this lady was saying he was several times over the amount of Anakin Skywalkers?

Obiwan suddenly spoke up however, thinking of the Archives. "So have you been able to access any of the archives?" He was rather curious if she had the permissions to do so. This made Jin look over at his former Padawan with a brow raised.

"Up until the titles I don't recognize. According to him, they hadn't happened yet. And it seems in order to view them, the reader has to be able to use Mechu-Deru, and we don't have a Jedi Sentinel Tech Specialist present here." Hearing what she said, Jin looked over at Fay.

"The boy can manipulate machines through the force?" She nodded to him, Jin seemed rather impressed but also conflicted with the thought. "He also has a strange lightsaber. While I can recognize it as a dual phase, it has a dark nature to it, though its aura isn't corrupting.

Fay slowly nodded hearing this, "Whenever people are present, he tends to hide a lot of his abilities. However when I first came on board his ship, he revealed a unique ability to phase through solid matter."

Both Jin and Obiwan froze hearing this, the image of the Dark Woman appearing in their heads. Padawans hated that woman, she was crude and seen as evil, just because she was harsh and had high expectations.

"Is he HER apprentice?" Jin quickly asked and sighed seeing Fay shake her head.

Obiwan leaned forward, "So what are his plans?" He more than anyone, other than Jin, wanted to know Valad's motives and what he wanted to do. This would allow them both to return to the Jedi Order with information.

"He wants to start his own Order, one loyal to a throne he wishes to create in the unknown regions." Fay simply gave out this information, she didn't see it as betrayal or anything towards Valad. Nor did he think it was either, since he had willingly gave her this information.

Jin leaned back slightly as he stood there. This person wanted to conquer worlds in the Unknown Regions? Did he have some sort Map? Or was he being guided by the force like she was? He found him being guided unlikely. "Why does he want you here?"

"He wants me to be his advisor due to my age and wisdom. Though I can feel his lust everytime..." She trailed off as she looked towards the ceiling, as if feeling a little uncomfortable. To her who is centuries old, it was like she was having a baby staring up at her with sexual deviance in its eyes.

Both Jin and Obiwan lowered their heads hearing the last part, both of them almost chuckling. They all knew what it was like being a child, let alone a teenager. Hormonal and whatnot.

"So what about the girl who was following him around?" Jin asked when he referred back to the whole chosen one thing, where he had high midichlorians.

"She's stronger than him, connection wise. However she is surrounded by a distortion... I've also read about her in the ship's main Archives. She's Vaylin from the Eternal Empire." Fay informed them, pretty much showing that she is not at all from the same time period as the rest of them. "And that girl on the planet surface... Leia of Aquilae, she claims to be from a different reality."

Time Travel, now Dimensional Travel. The Jedi seemed skeptical even with this all right in front of them. "Interesting," Jin said as he shook his head a bit, trying to think how much of this was possible. He knew many impossible things could be done with the force. There had even been legends that people used to travel from planet to planet using the force alone. "Will you come with us to report this to the Jedi Council?"

"I am sorry, Master Jin, I will not be leaving." Fay stated which made it seem that she had indeed accepted the boy's proposal. "I am renouncing my membership to the Jedi Order." She placed a lightsaber on the desk in front of her with a calm expression. "I beg you. Don't endanger our brothers and sisters..."

The Jedi present just stared at the woman. She was someone who was a Jedi Master and scoured the Galaxy for centuries. Yet she meets one person and she leaves the Order.

Jin took a deep breath, "As you wish." He smiled weakly, looked over at his former Apprentice before taking her lightsaber and walking out of the library with Obiwan.

"Information that she has left the Jedi Order must not get out," Jin would state as soon as they reached the corridors, they were hurrying back to their ship. While he was still curious of Valad's view of the force, it would have to wait. They had things to take care of, and he felt for some reason, they would meet again.

As friend or foe, he didn't know.
