Chapter 133: Philip's anger

Philip found himself engulfed in an unfamiliar and overpowering tide of sadness and helplessness. These emotions were entirely alien to him and seemed entirely misplaced. 

Perplexed, Philip couldn't help but wonder why he was experiencing these emotions, as he hadn't yet formed a profound emotional connection with the guild. After all, he was a recent addition to the guild and had just attended his very first meeting.

He even speculated that if a tragedy befell the guild, he wouldn't make an effort to save it, even if he had the means to do so.

"What is happening to me?" Philip began to grow curious. His emotions had been behaving erratically over the past few days.

"Could this be the result of having a mental stat equivalent to empaths? If this is the effect now, how much more intense will it be if I fully become one?" Philip mused. He was beginning to grasp that the more he advanced, the more he would grapple with his own mentality.
