Yu Bai sent Ma Mian and Yu Qi back to their company, while driving the three did not mention what had happened a while ago. Meanwhile, Yu Bai has already decided to watch Ma Mian and he could know that the young man from the Song clan is not someone who would just let things go just like that.
Yu Bai is worried that something might happen to his wife, so he decided to change to the poor and silent Yu Bai so that he could get his wife from the company.
He quickly changes from his Mr. Yu disguise into Yu Bai the utility staff.
Soon he parked his car in the parking lot and texted Ma Mian that he is waiting outside.
Not long later, he saw the figure of his wife walking out of the ABC Entertainment Company. But as soon as she steps on the sidewalk, Yu Bai immediately noticed a white van rushing in the direction of Ma Mian.
Upon seeing this, Yu Bai knew that everything would not be as simple as he thought it would be.
So without a second thought, he immediately jumps out of his old car and quickly rushes in Ma Mian's direction.
Meanwhile, Ma Mian who had noticed the van and felt that something is wrong with it quickly dashed towards the sidewalk where there is a line of plants.
She quickly ran to the side of the road where there is a stairway towards a near building.
The van stopped and several men came out from the van as they chase after the escaping Ma Mian.
"Who are these people…" she muttered to herself while running as fast as she could.
"I hope that Yu Bai has not seen me… If he saw me fighting these guys, will he hate me? Or will he be afraid of me?" she thought.
From what she knew about Yu Bai in their daily online interaction, she knew that he is into girls that are gentle and kind… 'Just like her…'
However, that is not what she really is. She is a strong woman with a strong personality who would fight and not give up on everything that life will throw at her.
So upon thinking up to this point, she is praying that Yu Bai will not see this side of her.
As Ma Mian runs, she would casually look behind her for those people who are chasing after her and the possible figure of Yu Bai. However, she soon discovers that they are unable to catch up to her.
But as soon as she turns into a corner, he suddenly noticed two people catching their breaths.
"Damn…" she exclaimed as the eyes of one of the men and hers met.
"She's right there!" the man shouted as he ran towards Ma Mian.
His companion immediately followed him as they chase after Ma Mian who seems to have quickly escaped.
He looks at where Ma Mian was heading and presses on a speed dial on his keypad phone. When someone on the other end answered, he quickly informed them of where they are.
"She is heading to the restroom on the second floor!" the man said.
Meanwhile, Ma Mian has already entered the women's room and quickly entered a cubicle. With quick work on her face, she easily removes her Ma Mian disguise and her beautiful Ma Liling face immediately appears. However, since he should be hiding this, she put on a mask and a cap.
She then quickly changes her clothes by putting on a long skirt that could hide her jumper pants. She was about to go out of the cubicle when she suddenly heard some footsteps outside.
"Damn it, they are here…" she cursed as she feels a bit worried.
She checked herself once again and after seeing that everything is perfect, she opened the cubicle and walks out.
But who would have known that these bastards would enter the women's room without any hesitations and begin checking the cubicles?
When they saw that a woman comes out of the cubicle, the three men who enter the room were a bit astonished. But upon noticing the beautiful skin of the woman and the somewhat beauty behind the mask, they showed interest in their eyes.
Since they are thugs, their thuggish ways immediately kicked in and walked towards Ma Liling who showed a hint of fear in her eyes.
The three men wanted to see this as they slowly encircled her.
"Well, well… What do we have here? A beauty… and she seemed familiar…" one of them said with a lewd expression on his face.
"This is a top-class woman… Why don't you play with us tonight honey…" another one said.
"Get back or I'll shout…" Ma Liling said in a fearful tone.
"Haha… Who would dare stop us? We are from the Song clan…" the other one said with a sinister chuckle.
Ma Liling heaves a deep sigh as she could not help but curse on her luck today. It is already evening and she needed to go home, she did not want to make her husband worry. Plus, she could easily take down these guys from the way they acted.
Ma Liling's eyes suddenly turned serious as she stabs her thumb into one of the man's throats in front of her.
Her quick attack caught the three off guard as they did not expect the beautiful woman to suddenly attack them. Then before the other one can react, she has already shifted her body and delivers a strong elbow strike on his chin.
The last one tried to grab her from behind, but then she suddenly cocked her head backward breaking the nose of the man behind her.
Then before that man could cry in pain, she suddenly threw out a powerful punch to his face.
The three men were rendered unconscious by her as they lay on the ground.
Ma Liling arranged her skirt and walks out of the women's room.
She saw a couple of men waiting outside. Every one of them leered at her, but the person who seems to be their leader stopped his men.
"Is there any other women inside?" he asked.
Ma Liling showed fear in her expression as she shook her head in a confused manner.
Seeing that the woman is terrified the leader waved his hand and let her pass.
As she walks a few steps away from the men, a groaning voice of a man came out from the women's room. And this immediately attracted the attention of the people outside.
Then a figure slowly walks out of the room while clutching his broken nose.
"Get her!" the man shouted while pointing at Ma Liling.
"Oh, shit!" Ma Liling did not bother to turn around and just quickly ran as fast as she could.
