Chapter 5: Ch.5 The outside world

I made my decision. I'm going to run away. I know it isn't right but I want to find my place in the world. I always thought it was to stay here and help my family. But I now feel different I don't want to stay here coop here forever. And I don't want to marry some prince who will give me jewels and all my needs. I really want a adventure. Maybe I should leave after the party.. no I can't I would have to pick a husband by then... I should leave during the party it would be easier to slip out. I picked up my pillow and put it back on the bed laying the photo on top. My mother then walked in my room with Sakura. My mother wore a beautiful royal blue dress it was always her best dresses. "Come on Jupiter you need to get dress darning," she said. I put on a gradient violet dress that had gold laces. "You look beautiful Jupiter," she smiled. I then asked, how long did you know about the marriage thing. "Long enough," she answered sadly. Why didn't you stop him, I said sadly and angrily. She said,"I couldn't your father is right the kingdom needs to be stronger, I really don't want you to go." I then hugged my mother lovingly. She hugged me back, "I have duties I have to do," she said as she backs away. She walks to the door as she smiles, "And happy birthday Jupiter." She closes the door leaving me with a soft smile. Now it was just me and Sakura. "Here I'll do your hair," Sakura said as she walks to me. I nodded quietly. "This marriage thing are you really going to go though it," Sakura asked. I couldn't tell her my plan if I did she will probably stop me. I nodded, It is my duties as a prince. I could tell Sakura thought it was a little weird but she just let it slide. "It's really too bad I wouldn't be able to see anymore," Sakura said sadly. I nodded as I looked down, yea I know. She finished my hair after a couple of minutes. "Hey how about we take a stroll until you have to go to the ballroom," Sakura asked. I nodded, of course. We walked around the castle. I guess this will be the last I see of this castle. "Is there something wrong," Sakura asked as we walked. A-ah no I'm just nervous about all the princes and picking a husband, I said lying. She just shrugged it off. Then soon I was needed at the ballroom. I peeked our to see a lot of people from different kingdoms. It was really a crowd. "Jupiter you must be nervous," my mother said as I looked back to see her behind me. I nodded slightly kind of overwhelmed seeing all those people. She just smiled, "I just want you to be happy." I wanted to tell her she was really the only person I could trust. Mom, I said softly. "What is it darning," she asked. I-I don't want to stay here... I want to travel in the outside world, I said slowly. She just smiled and said, "If that makes you happy then go for it no matter where you are I'm always there alright." I smiled I didn't think she would act so calm. "When you come back," she chuckles, "Tell me about all you adventures okay." I could tell she trusted me I could tell she knew she had to let me go. I smiled as I nodded. She kissed my head, "Be careful I'll make sure there are no guards." Thank you mom, I said happily. I then walked down the stairs where they introduced me. Many people were whispering and looking at me in amazement. Soon after I was introduced to all the princes it sure was a long process. But I was finally feel to leave right after. I quickly walked out as I breath out in relive. Good bye kingdom life and good my beautiful kingdom. I walked to the garden slowly leaving. I saw there was no guards so I quickly got on a small boat and started to get some stuff together. I found a bag of money on the boat which I assumed my mother left for me. I was about to start the boat until I saw Sakura. I stood there frozen. A-ah um, I said nervously. "So this was your idea," Sakura said raising her eyebrow. I then sunk thinking my plan was all downhill now. "I'll accompany you," she then said. My head rosed up in surprised, huh!
