Chapter 9: Reunion.
Ji-woo scanned the audience before her, everyone was looking up to her to see what she could do, she felt a weight of responsibility immediately rest on her shoulders.
"I have to step up and give my best to make them proud of me" She thought to herself.
She bowed once again to the crowd and then to the rulers who sat behind her.
"She will immediately begin her service in the Sai court and will also from time to time join Deungdae students for training" Sangho announced
" I hope you will accept her and help her become the best supreme ruler you want her to be" Sangho concluded,thanked and dismissed the crowd.
When the meeting was over, some people hurried out, some stayed back to chat within themselves while some went over to exchange pleasantries with Ji-woo who was still standing at the same spot shaking and bowing to some notable guardians.
" We hope to see your good work" One of them commented as he shook her.
" We wish you goodluck,we believe you can do it" another female guardian spoke.
" We welcome you hugyeja,we hope to see you some more in Deungdae, you can do it " another group of girls said eagerly before bolting out the door.
Ji-woo heaved a sigh of relief when she was finally done greeting everyone.
She turned to take her leave and signaled to her guard who was standing outside the door that it was time to go.
She stepped outside the court, following right behind the guard into the little garden behind the court.
She halted abruptly bumping her head into her guard shoulders when someone stood in front obstructing them from going forward.
" Please excuse us and make way for us to pass through" Min kyu said politely to the person but the person in question didn't even budge.
Ji-woo was already fed up with this person, she was tired and really wanted to get off her feet.
When the person did not respond to Min kyu's pleas. Ji-woo came out from behind him to address this person herself.
A slim young lady stood in front with wide legs spread out the pathway fully blocking them from passing through.
Ji-woo slowly approached her.
" Miss could you please leave the way" she pleaded with the most subtle voice she could use.
"This lady may be a lunatic" She thought to herself and she didn't want to offend or provoke her in any way.
The lady turned instantly and before she could realise it, the lady was already hugging her tightly.
" Ji-woo Unnie, I missed you so so much" the lady whispered and started sobbing.
When Ji-woo heard her voice,she pulled her away and stared at her face inquisitively.
" Ji-soo?"
