Eric carried her to the front of the emergency room. Luke stood leaning against the hospital wall, his hands stuffed into his pockets.

When he saw Ella rushing over, his eyes flickered slightly.

Eric set Ella down and shot Luke a cold glance. "How is Mr. Anderson's condition?"
