Chapter 12: Pokedex

"Bonjour!"

"Shut up."

All five players were online and still in town.

"Where's Red?" Cuckmaster asked Bob.

"Bruh, if you're asking me, even my dad wouldn't know."

"Your dad plays games too?"

"Don't bother with him, he doesn't even understand jokes," NTRslayer said, pulling Bob and the other two along.

"Wait, what joke?? Hey, why are you leaving already?!"

All five of them headed into the forest, as NTRslayer had some prior experience with forests—specifically, getting bullied by a bird.

"Oh right, didn't the professor give us something?" Farmqueen said excitedly, taking out the device.

"Pokedex," Fairygoth reminded.

"Oh, right, right, the Pokedex."

"It's used to check Pokémon information."

"It's that cool?!" Cuckmaster exclaimed, immediately taking out his Pokedex and summoning his Pokémon.

"Gah?" (What are you calling me for?)

Cuckmaster eagerly used the Pokedex.

[Notification: Pokémon from another region, unable to identify.]

"Huh?"

[This Pokedex is limited to the Kanto region. Please be aware.]

"What?? It's useless?!"

"It's only because you're dumb! This Pokedex is specifically for Kanto. If it could check other regions' Pokémon, then the Pokedexes from those regions would be redundant!" NTRslayer pinched Cuckmaster's ear.

"Really? How do you know that?"

"I asked earlier."

NTRslayer then took out his own Pokémon, Weedle. He pulled out his Pokedex to check Weedle's information.

[Weedle, the Hairy Bug Pokémon. Bug/Poison type.

Weedle is a small, worm-like Pokémon with a segmented, brownish-yellow body and a sharp, poisonous stinger on both its head and tail.

It is commonly found in forests and grassy areas, where it feeds on leaves.

Weedle is known for its strong sense of smell, which helps it detect the types of leaves it prefers to eat.

Despite its small size, it can be quite dangerous due to its poisonous stingers.]

"That's a lot of information!"

"What are types? Do they have something to do with Pokémon battles?" Fairygoth asked curiously.

"It seems so, but what's surprising is that my Weedle is dual-type even though it's so small, so it must be really strong!"

Hearing its trainer praise it, Weedle happily nudged NTRslayer.

"Aren't you afraid it might poison you?" Farmqueen asked, poking Weedle with a stick.

"No way! It loves me so much, so there's no way it would poison me! Right, my dear Weedle?"

Just as he said that, he suddenly felt something wasn't quite right.

"Hey-Hey! Why is your face turning all purple?!" Cuckmaster shouted in alarm, looking at NTRslayer.

No way?!

"FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!" NTRslayer quickly recalled his Weedle and rushed back to the professor.

"Idiots usually call others dumber than themselves..." Fairygoth covered her face, sighing.

Then, she took out her Pokémon and used the Pokedex to check Charmander.

[Charmander, the Fire Lizard Pokémon, Fire type.

Charmander is a small lizard Pokémon with a tail that burns with a bright flame. This flame reflects Charmander's health and emotions. If the flame goes out, it means Charmander is in serious danger.

When Charmander is happy, the flame on its tail burns brighter. The flame also flares up stronger when it faces danger or is angry.

Charmander is very loyal to its trainer and has strong potential for powerful evolution through the stages.]

Hearing that Charmander's health is reflected in the flame of its tail, she anxiously looked at Charmander's tail.

"Isn't its information much more detailed than Weedle's?" Bob said, confused.

"Pokémon for beginners must be different from wild Pokémon," Farmqueen added. She also took out her Chikorita but couldn't check it, which made her a bit sad.

Seeing her trainer sad, Chikorita came over and used her vine whip to gently pat Farmqueen's head.

"Chikorita!!!" Seeing Chikorita so cute, Farmqueen couldn't help herself and hugged it tightly, making Chikorita, who was worried, suddenly feel scared.

If only she had known, she wouldn't have done that!

"Why don't you check your Pokémon too?" Cuckmaster said, patting Bob on the shoulder.

Seeing that, Bob also summoned his Pokémon and checked it right away.

[Bulbasaur, the Seed Pokémon, Grass/Poison type.

Bulbasaur is a small Pokémon with a blue-green body and a plant bud on its back. This bud grows larger as Bulbasaur ages and will eventually bloom into a large flower.

Bulbasaur has the ability to absorb sunlight through the bud on its back. It often lies in the sun to enhance its strength and promote the growth of the bud.

Bulbasaur is a very friendly and easy-to-train Pokémon. It is often chosen as the starter Pokémon for new trainers due to its easy care and gentle personality.]

"It's a dual-type Pokémon! If that's the case, it must be really strong!!!" Bob said confidently as he held Bulbasaur.

Bulbasaur noticed its trainer was happy for some reason but didn't care much; as long as its trainer was happy, that was enough.

"Damn it! I'm jealous of you, Bob!!" Cuckmaster said, biting down on a piece of fabric to endure.

Dual-types sound really awesome! And Poison type sounds cool too!!

I wonder if my Totodile is a dual-type?

If not, that would really suck!!

Totodile seemed to know what its trainer was thinking about it and jumped up to bite its trainer's hand.

"OW!! YOU DAMN CROCODILE!! ARE YOU TURNING ON ME AGAIN?!!"

Meanwhile, in the Pokémon lab,

"While I know you all really love Pokémon, I didn't expect it to be to this extent," Professor Oak said, scratching his head as he sprayed an antidote on NTRslayer.

"Ah... that's better," Rey's face relaxed. (Let me remind anyone who doesn't know, Rey is the real name of NTRslayer.)

Weedle cried and apologized to Rey, though it didn't dare come close for fear of poisoning him again.

"Hey, don't be sad like that. It was my fault for not being careful," Rey reassured Weedle.

Knowing its trainer wasn't angry, Weedle cried even harder.

Oak smiled at the bond between the two.

Suddenly, a bell rang on the pc.

"Huh?"

Oak walked over, turned on the pc, and realized Red was calling him.

Oak happily turn on the pc, looking forward to seeing how many Pokémon Red had caught.

His grandson had caught a lot of Pokémon at the start of his journey, so he hoped Red had done the same.

However, when the pc turned on, the first thing that caught his eye was Red lying in bed, bandaged up quite a bit.

"WHAT HAPPENED, RED??"

"Red?" Rey looked up at Professor Oak, who was talking through the PC.

He stood up and walked over to see.

And yes, his feelings were just like Oak's.

'What the-? What happened to my sugar daddy that he's bandaged up so much??'

Red was slightly surprised to see the players behind the professor.

'So they're online now? And they still haven't left Pallet Town.'

That's unfortunate!

Red brushed that aside and "talked" to the professor.

"You suddenly got targeted by a flock of Spearow? How did that happen?"

"While Spearow are aggressive, they only attack when someone enters their territory, right?"

"Red, are you sure you didn't provoke the Spearow?"

Red shook his head. After all, during his entire journey so far, he hadn't seen a single one besides Pidgey.

Besides, there was something off about that flock of Spearow. They could even use Shadow Ball.

"WHAT?! SHADOW BALL?!! THEY CAN USE THAT?!"

Professor Oak's emotions exploded, causing his hand to accidentally hit Rey's chin.

"Ah, sorry."

"N-no problem," Rey said, though he still stepped back from Professor Oak to avoid getting hit again.

Oak tried to calm down and looked at Red.

Red never lied, he was sure of that.

But Spearow was a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon! There was no way they could use Shadow Ball!

Seeing this, Red had to prove it by mentioning a girl who was also involved with him, named Misty.

Upon hearing the name Misty, Oak remembered she was the owner of the Water-type gym.

Though she was the youngest among her sisters and not as beautiful as they were, her charisma and training skills were top-notch.

Even though she was still inexperienced, she was strong enough to be considered a challenge for newcomers, especially those five...

Oak turned to look at Rey, making him confused.

'Huh? Why is he looking at me? Am I that handsome?'

Oak then turned back to Red and asked if Misty was still there.

After a while, Misty arrived, realizing it was Professor Oak.

"Hi, Professor! Long time no see!"

"Hello, Misty! It's been three years, hasn't it? How's the Feebas I gave you?"

Feebas is a Pokémon from the Hoenn region that Birch gifted her. It's difficult to train, but with persistence, the results can be rewarding.

"It's good! My Feebas is a bit sad because it hasn't evolved after three years, but I've encouraged it a lot, so it's still very diligent!"

"That's great! Now, back to the main topic! That is..."

The two chatted for a while, and Rey took advantage of that to eavesdrop on a lot of things.

Also, Pikachu just needs to shock to take out the whole flock of Spearow.

Haha, no way, that Pikachu is so cute, there's no way it's strong enough for that.

...Right?

After finishing their conversation, Professor Oak's face was very serious.

He turned back to his desk and wrote something down.

But he forgot that Rey was there, so he subtly sent Rey away.

Seeing this, Rey didn't say anything and just went outside.

He walked over to the four players who were arguing about something.

"I'll prove to you why banana peels are the most nutritious thing! Even gorillas would eat them!" Cuckmaster pointed at Farmqueen.

"That's because gorillas don't want to waste food; if they knew bananas would never run out, they would have thrown the peels away!" Farmqueen countered.

"What do you know?!"

"I'm the child of a farmer, I know! Besides, why are you bringing banana peels into this? Did you eat them?"

"Yeah!"

With that one sentence, Cuckmaster easily ended the debate.

"I can't believe your hometown would eat that much, sorry." Bob patted Cuckmaster on the shoulder.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"If your hometown is that poor, tell me where it is, and I'll donate," Fairygoth also patted Cuckmaster on the shoulder.

"Sorry for arguing with you, if I had known you ate all the bananas to survive, I would really feel guilty," Farmqueen wiped her tears.

"My hometown isn't that poor, you know??"

"Alright, everyone shut up!" NTRslayer yelled as he approached.

"Oh, you're back! How does it feel?" Cuckmaster chuckled and poked him in the stomach.

"Shut up, let's go. If not, we won't catch up to my sugar daddy."

"Sugar daddy? Who's that?" Fairygoth raised an eyebrow.

"Our guide, it seems he had an unfortunate accident and is at the Pokémon Center."

"Pokémon Center?"

"Hospital."

"Oh."

"Hurry up!"

So, the group headed into the forest.

Of course, this trip wasn't safe.

NTRslayer, although he didn't know what Red was talking about (he hadn't spoken a word), was sure that the injuries were caused by wild Pokémon.

It turned out that this world, while looking innocent and light like a flower, had thorns!

And as he expected, a Pokémon appeared!

It looked like a rat...

"What is that?" Cuckmaster pointed at the rat.

"Use the Pokédex!" Bob said.

"You have one too??"

"One person using it is enough, and I'm too lazy to take mine out."

"Am I your slave??"

Cuckmaster pulled out his Pokédex and checked the rat.

[Rattata, Mouse Pokémon, Normal type

Rattata is a small Pokémon that resembles a mouse with purple fur. It is known for its lively personality and agility.

Rattata usually lives in urban areas and often appears in cities. They like to search for food and often gather in groups.

Rattata is very easy to raise because they are omnivorous, making them perfect for beginners.]

"Did you hear that? Very easy to raise!"

"Easy to raise or easy to eat?" Cuckmaster looked at the mouse with drool dripping.

Instincts kicked in, and Rattata ran as fast as it could.

"Runs fast, huh?" Cuckmaster watched disappointedly as Rattata dashed away.

"If you say that to all Pokémon, they'll react the same way," NTRslayer looked at Cuckmaster as if he were crazy.

"Hey! I didn't know they were so skittish! I don't even like meat, I was just curious!"

"DO YOU HAVE NO SHAME AT ALL???"

The group continued walking until they encountered a boy wearing a green hat and a yellow shirt.

Since Cuckmaster was in the lead, the boy targeted him.

"Hey!" The boy walked over and stopped Cuckmaster.

"Huh?"

"Are you a trainer?"

"Yeah? I guess people call me that," Cuckmaster scratched his head.

"Then let's battle! You and me!"

The four of them paused and looked at Cuckmaster and the boy.

"A Pokémon battle comes early, I'll use this fight to learn," NTRslayer said to the others.

"As for me, I just want to watch as an outsider; I don't really like battling," Farmqueen smiled.

"Alright," Cuckmaster agreed.

The boy smiled and pulled out a Poké Ball.

But before he could throw it, a fist landed on his face.

"..."

"..."

"..."

Everyone was silent, staring in shock at Cuckmaster.

"W-Why did you hit me??" The boy rubbed his cheek, confused and scared as he looked at Cuckmaster.

"You said you wanted to fight me, right? Get up, and I'll hit you again," Cuckmaster smiled innocently.

...

"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU BATTLE!!!!" The four of them yelled out loud.
