Chapter 13: Forest
"Red?" Rey looked up at Professor Oak, who was talking through the PC.
He stood up and walked over to see.
And yes, his feelings were just like Oak's.
'What the-? What happened to my sugar daddy that he's bandaged up so much??'
Red was slightly surprised to see the players behind the professor.
'So they're online now? And they still haven't left Pallet Town.'
That's unfortunate!
Red brushed that aside and "talked" to the professor.
"You suddenly got targeted by a flock of Spearow? How did that happen?"
"While Spearow are aggressive, they only attack when someone enters their territory, right?"
"Red, are you sure you didn't provoke the Spearow?"
Red shook his head. After all, during his entire journey so far, he hadn't seen a single one besides Pidgey.
Besides, there was something off about that flock of Spearow. They could even use Shadow Ball.
"WHAT?! SHADOW BALL?!! THEY CAN USE THAT?!"
Professor Oak's emotions exploded, causing his hand to accidentally hit Rey's chin.
"Ah, sorry."
"N-no problem," Rey said, though he still stepped back from Professor Oak to avoid getting hit again.
Oak tried to calm down and looked at Red.
Red never lied, he was sure of that.
But Spearow was a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon! There was no way they could use Shadow Ball!
Seeing this, Red had to prove it by mentioning a girl who was also involved with him, named Misty.
Upon hearing the name Misty, Oak remembered she was the owner of the Water-type gym.
Though she was the youngest among her sisters and not as beautiful as they were, her charisma and training skills were top-notch.
Even though she was still inexperienced, she was strong enough to be considered a challenge for newcomers, especially those five...
Oak turned to look at Rey, making him confused.
'Huh? Why is he looking at me? Am I that handsome?'
Oak then turned back to Red and asked if Misty was still there.
After a while, Misty arrived, realizing it was Professor Oak.
"Hi, Professor! Long time no see!"
"Hello, Misty! It's been three years, hasn't it? How's the Feebas I gave you?"
Feebas is a Pokémon from the Hoenn region that Birch gifted her. It's difficult to train, but with persistence, the results can be rewarding.
"It's good! My Feebas is a bit sad because it hasn't evolved after three years, but I've encouraged it a lot, so it's still very diligent!"
"That's great! Now, back to the main topic! That is..."
The two chatted for a while, and Rey took advantage of that to eavesdrop on a lot of things.
Also, Pikachu just needs to shock to take out the whole flock of Spearow.

After finishing their conversation, Professor Oak's face was very serious.

"I'll prove to you why banana peels are the most nutritious thing! Even gorillas would eat them!" Cuckmaster pointed at Farmqueen.
"That's because gorillas don't want to waste food; if they knew bananas would never run out, they would have thrown the peels away!" Farmqueen countered.
"What do you know?!"
"I'm the child of a farmer, I know! Besides, why are you bringing banana peels into this? Did you eat them?"
"Yeah!"
With that one sentence, Cuckmaster easily ended the debate.
"I can't believe your hometown would eat that much, sorry." Bob patted Cuckmaster on the shoulder.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"If your hometown is that poor, tell me where it is, and I'll donate," Fairygoth also patted Cuckmaster on the shoulder.
"Sorry for arguing with you, if I had known you ate all the bananas to survive, I would really feel guilty," Farmqueen wiped her tears.
"My hometown isn't that poor, you know??"
"Alright, everyone shut up!" NTRslayer yelled as he approached.
"Oh, you're back! How does it feel?" Cuckmaster chuckled and poked him in the stomach.
"Shut up, let's go. If not, we won't catch up to my sugar daddy."
"Sugar daddy? Who's that?" Fairygoth raised an eyebrow.
"Our guide, it seems he had an unfortunate accident and is at the Pokémon Center."
"Pokémon Center?"
"Hospital."
"Oh."
"Hurry up!"
So, the group headed into the forest.
Of course, this trip wasn't safe.
NTRslayer, although he didn't know what Red was talking about (he hadn't spoken a word), was sure that the injuries were caused by wild Pokémon.
It turned out that this world, while looking innocent and light like a flower, had thorns!
And as he expected, a Pokémon appeared!
It looked like a rat...
"What is that?" Cuckmaster pointed at the rat.
"Use the Pokédex!" Bob said.
"You have one too??"
"One person using it is enough, and I'm too lazy to take mine out."
"Am I your slave??"
Cuckmaster pulled out his Pokédex and checked the rat.
[Rattata, Mouse Pokémon, Normal type
Rattata is a small Pokémon that resembles a mouse with purple fur. It is known for its lively personality and agility.
Rattata usually lives in urban areas and often appears in cities. They like to search for food and often gather in groups.
Rattata is very easy to raise because they are omnivorous, making them perfect for beginners.]
"Did you hear that? Very easy to raise!"
"Easy to raise or easy to eat?" Cuckmaster looked at the mouse with drool dripping.
Instincts kicked in, and Rattata ran as fast as it could.
"Runs fast, huh?" Cuckmaster watched disappointedly as Rattata dashed away.
"If you say that to all Pokémon, they'll react the same way," NTRslayer looked at Cuckmaster as if he were crazy.
"Hey! I didn't know they were so skittish! I don't even like meat, I was just curious!"
"DO YOU HAVE NO SHAME AT ALL???"
The group continued walking until they encountered a boy wearing a green hat and a yellow shirt.
Since Cuckmaster was in the lead, the boy targeted him.
"Hey!" The boy walked over and stopped Cuckmaster.
"Huh?"
"Are you a trainer?"
"Yeah? I guess people call me that," Cuckmaster scratched his head.
"Then let's battle! You and me!"
The four of them paused and looked at Cuckmaster and the boy.
"A Pokémon battle comes early, I'll use this fight to learn," NTRslayer said to the others.
"As for me, I just want to watch as an outsider; I don't really like battling," Farmqueen smiled.
"Alright," Cuckmaster agreed.
The boy smiled and pulled out a Poké Ball.
But before he could throw it, a fist landed on his face.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Everyone was silent, staring in shock at Cuckmaster.
"W-Why did you hit me??" The boy rubbed his cheek, confused and scared as he looked at Cuckmaster.
"You said you wanted to fight me, right? Get up, and I'll hit you again," Cuckmaster smiled innocently.

"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU BATTLE!!!!" The four of them yelled out loud.
Chapter 14: Pokemon battle
"Don't! Don't kick me anymore, I know I'm wrong!!"
Cuckmaster lay flat on the ground, enduring kicks from the three others.
"Wrong my ass!! Hitting a kid? You'll never be forgiven!"
"Sorry, he's just handsome but his brain is the size of a grape," Farmqueen clasped her hands and apologized to the boy.
"Oh... um..." the boy scratched his head.
After a while of kicking Cuckmaster, he stood up with a bruised face.
"Heoh... sorry..."
He's handsome, but what's holding him back is his flat brain, poor guy.
"So... can we battle now?" the boy asked the group of five.
"Oh, sure," Cuckmaster stepped forward, intending to release his Pokémon, but the boy stopped him.
"Anyone but you," the boy said fearfully.
He's the only one who doesn't play by the rules! And no one's stupid enough to battle with him!
"Hey! That's discrimination! I already apologized!"
"Just go away. You've hit rock bottom by punching him in the face."
"Mannnn..."
Cuckmaster stepped back, and NTRslayer moved forward.
"I'll battle."
The boy looked at NTRslayer, hoping this guy wasn't like the thug from earlier.
The boy threw a Poké Ball, which opened and summoned a Metapod.
"What's that?"
Farmqueen took out her Pokédex to check the boy's Pokémon.
[Metapod, the Cocoon Pokémon, Bug type
Metapod is the second evolutionary stage of Caterpie and is a cocoon-like Pokémon with a hard protective shell. Metapod hardly moves and focuses its energy on growth and evolution.
The shell of Metapod is very tough, protecting its soft body inside from attacks. However, due to the hard shell, Metapod can't move quickly, making it an easy target.
Metapod often uses the move Harden to increase the hardness of its shell, reducing damage from opponents' attacks.
Although it appears weak, Metapod is a crucial step in the evolution of Caterpie into Butterfree, a much stronger Pokémon.]
"Evolution?" Farmqueen looked at Metapod, puzzled.
"A bug needs to evolve to become a butterfly," Fairygoth reminded.
"I know, but I thought this game was just about raising small Pokémon to fight, not evolving them."
The boy's eye twitched, he thought the four of them were smart, but it turns out they were living under a rock!
"Go! Cyndaquil!"
NTRslayer summoned Cyndaquil, its squinted eyes staring at Metapod.
"A Pokémon from the Johto region? How did you get it?"
The boy was confused, looking at the Johto starter Pokémon.
"The professor gave it to me."
"The professor? You're from Pallet Town?"
"Well... sort of?"
The boy started sweating, Pallet Town is famous for producing incredibly strong rookie trainers.
He had previously challenged two people: a girl with a white hat and long ash-brown hair and an arrogant guy with auburn hair.
Both of them easily defeated him, but after that battle, his Caterpie evolved.
Evolving after a defeat is a bit strange...
No! Stay calm! A strong trainer must be persistent!
He looked at NTRslayer with determination in his eyes.
"Cyndaquil! Attack!"
"Cynda!"
Cyndaquil immediately ran towards Metapod and headbutted it.
"Metapod! Harden!"
Metapod's shell became more robust.
When Cyndaquil's head hit Metapod, a bump formed on its head, causing Cyndaquil to tear up in pain.
"Cynda! Cyndaquil!!"
"Good! Metapod, attack!!"
The boy seemed to have learned from those two strong trainers, so he didn't miss the opportunity to attack.
"Dodge it, Cyndaquil!"
Since Cyndaquil's speed was much higher than Metapod's, around 65, it easily dodged.
"Good, now use Leer on it!"
Cyndaquil's squinted eyes began to glow, making Metapod feel uneasy.
Its defense was lowered by one stage.
"Attack now!"
Cyndaquil charged again, but having learned from the previous encounter, it used its foot to kick Metapod instead.
"Oh, good! Keep attacking that Metapod!" Cuckmaster cheered while Totodile danced around.
After being attacked, Metapod was pushed back a bit but still seemed fine.
"Metapod! Use String Shot on that tree!"
Metapod immediately shot its silk onto a tree, leaving NTRslayer puzzled, wondering what Metapod was trying to do.
"Metapod! Do it!"
Metapod looked at the boy with determined eyes. It then began pulling itself up the branch like some friendly neighborhood superhero.
"W-What on earth are you doing??"
NTRslayer was completely baffled by what the boy and Metapod were attempting.
"Do it now!!!!"
Metapod used all its strength to spin around rapidly, increasing its spinning speed on the branch. Then, it released its silk, propelling itself at high speed towards Cyndaquil.
"WHAT?! DODGE IT!"
NTRslayer's command came a bit too late, and Cyndaquil couldn't dodge in time. It was hit squarely by Metapod's impact and was sent flying into a tree branch.
"Wait, what?! I thought the early game was supposed to be easy??" Bob and Cuckmaster's eyes widened in disbelief at Metapod.
"Actually... to them, we're the ones who are easy," Fairygoth sighed, covering her face.
"Are you okay, Cyndaquil?!"
Cyndaquil struggled to get up, glaring at Metapod.
Metapod wasn't unaffected either; the risky attack had taken a toll on it, and it was visibly injured.
"Cyndaquil, use Leer!"
Cyndaquil's squinted eyes glowed, lowering Metapod's defense by another stage.
"Metapod! String Shot on Cyndaquil!"
Metapod shot silk at Cyndaquil, binding it in place.
"Now, attack!"
Metapod jumped, aiming to ram into Cyndaquil.
"Cyndaquil!!"
NTRslayer looked worriedly at Cyndaquil, considering recalling it.
But something unexpected happened.
Cyndaquil opened its mouth and breathed out a thick cloud of black smoke.
"Smokescreen?!" The boy was startled.
The smoke caused Metapod to close its eyes. At this moment, Cyndaquil managed to break free from the silk strands.
"Attack now!"
Cyndaquil dashed forward, striking the blinded Metapod. The impact sent Metapod flying, causing it to become dizzy and collapse to the ground.
Metapod had fainted.
"Metapod!" The boy ran over and picked up Metapod. He sighed as he looked at the trainer in front of him.
Despite using the strategy that he and Metapod had practiced for so long, they still failed.
But that's okay, there will always be other opportunities. After all, trainers from Pallet Town aren't ones to be underestimated.
NTRslayer froze for a moment, then burst into excitement like a child. He ran over to Cyndaquil and lifted it up.
"We won! Our first battle victory!"
"Cyndaquil!"
Cyndaquil happily nuzzled against NTRslayer's cheek, its cuteness almost causing Fairygoth to collapse from the adorableness.
Suddenly, a screen appeared in front of NTRslayer, startling him.
